理论研究并实验验证了一种含有两段π相移的啁啾相移光纤光栅.采用F矩阵对啁啾相移光纤光栅进行计算并分析了该光栅的谱特性.含有两段π相移的啁啾相移光纤光栅可以在普通啁啾光栅透射谱阻带中产生双波长透射峰,透射峰位置直接取决于光栅中π相移的位置,透射峰的线宽和透射峰的波长间隔没有关系,仅随着啁啾率的增大而增大.采用带相位掩模的逐点扫描法对含有两段π相移的双波长啁啾相移光栅进行了制作,获得波长间隔为8 nm的双波长透射谱的光栅器件.该光栅的消光比和3 dB谱线宽分别为20 dB和0.08 nm,实验结果和理论设计一致. 相似文献

提出了一种提高长距离光纤布喇格光栅信噪比以进行准分布测量的新方法.该方法基于掺铒光纤/喇曼混合放大的光纤激光器结构,掺铒光纤和滤波器构成的环形结构产生激光作为光源,喇曼光纤放大器对布喇格光栅信号进行低噪音的双向放大,置于远处的掺铒光纤利用剩余的泵浦功率产生自发辐射光和放大传感信号,为远处掺铒光纤之后的布喇格光栅传感器提供信号光以及补偿由于长距离传输造成的光纤损耗.实验显示,与使用宽带光源的传感方式相比,系统的性能得到显著提高,仅使用小功率泵浦,分布在50 km光纤上的FBG均获得了超过58 dB的优良信噪比. 相似文献

Chirped fiber Bragg grating (CBG) has been used to compensate the dispersion in the optical fiber communication system. We substitute dispersion compensation fiber (DCF) with CBG in the 10Gbit/s disperion-managed system over 1100km. A photonics true-time-delay system for phased array antenna beam steering employing a novel tunable chirped fiber grating delay line and a multi-wavelength erbium-doped fiber ring laser source based on a sampled grating filter is proposed. The tunable chirped fiber grating, which act as a continuous time-delay element, is achieved by bending a uniform fiber Bragg grating bonded at a slant onto the lateral surface of a simply supported beam. This technique allows the dynamic control of the chirp rate and spectral width of the grating without center wavelength shift. By adjusting the chirp rate of the fiber grating via bend strain, this kind of tunable chirped fiber grating could achieve very low and adjustable delay times, therefore provides higher angle resolution for scanning microwave beam, even the wavelengths of laser source are fixed and un-tunable. The true-time-delay system using proposed tunable chirped fiber grating delay element and sampled grating based laser source is constructed and demonstrated experimentally. 相似文献

We present an externally modulated NTSC AM-VSB erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA)-repeated system in the 1550 nm region which uses a chirped fiber grating (CFG) as a dispersion compensation device. In contrast to the conventional externally modulated fiber optical CATV systems, either with or without dispersion compensation fiber (DCF), good performances of carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR) S 50 dB, composite second order (CSO) S 74 dB, and composite triple beat (CTB) S 65 dB were achieved for the full channel band after a 100-km single-mode fiber (SMF) transmission. 相似文献
