We theoretically introduce a kind of non-Gaussian entangled resources, i.e., coherent photon-added two-mode squeezed thermal states (CPA-TMSTS), by successively performing coherent photon addition operation to the two-mode squeezed thermal states. The normalization factor related to bivariate Hermite polynomials is obtained. Based upon it, the nonclassicality and decoherence process are analyzed by virtue of the Wigner function. It is shown that the coherent photon addition operation is an effective way in generating partial negative values of Wigner function, which clearly manifests the nonclassicality and non-Gaussianity of the target states. Additionally, the fidelity in teleporting coherent states using CPA-TMSTS as entangled resource is quantified both analytically and numerically. It is found that the CPA-TMSTS is an entangled resource of high-efficiency and high-fidelity in quantum teleportation.  相似文献

We theoretically introduce a kind of non-Gaussian entangled states, i.e., photon-subtracted two-mode squeezed coherent states (PSTMSCS), by successively subtracting photons from each mode of the two-mode squeezed coherent states. The normalization factor which is related to bivariate Hermite polynomials is obtained by virtue of the two-mode squeezing operator in entangled-states representation. The sub-Poissonian photon statistics, antibunching effects, and partial negative Wigner function, respectively, are observed numerically, which fully reflect the nonclassicality of the resultant states. Finally, employing the SV criteria and the EPR correlation, respectively, the entangled property of PSTMSCS is analyzed. It is shown that the photon subtraction operation can effectively enhance the inseparability between the two modes.  相似文献

Using a non-Gaussian operation—photon subtraction from two-mode squeezed thermal state (PS-TMSTS), we construct a kind of entangled state. A Jacobi polynomial is found to be related to the normalization factor. The negativity of Wigner function (WF) is used to discuss its nonclassicality. The investigated entanglement properties turn out that the symmetrical PS-TMSTS may be more effective than the non-symmetric for quantum teleportation. Then the time evolution of WF is used to examine the decoherence effect, which indicates that the characteristic time of single PS-TMSTS depends not only on the average photon number of environment, but also on the average photon number of thermal state and the squeezing parameter.  相似文献

We theoretically analyze the nonclassicality and entanglement of two new non-Gaussian entangled states generated by applying multiple-photon addition and subtraction to a two-mode binomial state. The nonclassical properties are investigated in terms of the partial negativity of the Wigner functions, whose results show that their nonclassicality can be enhanced via one-mode even-number photon operations and two-mode symmetrical operations for the initial two-mode binomial state. We also find that there exists some enhancement in the entanglement properties in certain parameter ranges via one-mode photon-addition and two-mode symmetrical operations.  相似文献

Extending the recent work completed by Fan et al. [Front. Phys. 9(1), 74 (2014)] to a two-mode case, we investigate how a two-mode squeezed vacuum evolves when it undergoes a two-mode amplitude dissipative channel, with the same decay rate κ, using the continuous-variable entangled state approach. Our analytical results show that the initial pure-squeezed vacuum state evolves into a definite mixed state with entanglement and squeezing, decaying over time as a result of amplitude decay. We also investigate the time evolutions of the photon number distribution, the Wigner function, and the optical tomogram in this channel. Our results indicate that the evolved photon number distribution is related to Jacobi polynomials, the Wigner function has a standard Gaussian distribution (corresponding to the vacuum) at long periods, losing its nonclassicality due to amplitude decay, and a larger squeezing leads to a longer decay time.  相似文献

Two new photon-modulated spin coherent states (SCSs) are introduced by operating the spin ladder operators J± on the ordinary SCS in the Holstein-Primakoff realization and the nonclassicality is exhibited via their photon number distribution, second-order correlation function, photocount distribution and negativity of Wigner distribution. Analytical results show that the photocount distribution is a Bernoulli distribution and the Wigner functions are only associated with two-variable Hermite polynomials. Compared with the ordinary SCS, the photon-modulated SCSs exhibit more stronger nonclassicality in certain regions of the photon modulated number k and spin number j, which means that the nonclassicality can be enhanced by selecting suitable parameters.  相似文献

基于单-双模组合压缩真空态一定范围内能够获得压缩增强的效果,引入单-双模组合压缩热态(DSMST),讨论其纠缠性质.利用Weyl编序算符在相似变换下的不变性,简洁方便地导出了DSMST的纠缠度-负对数值,并给出了当热效应存在时保持纠缠的条件.研究表明:与通常的双模压缩态相比,随着参数的增加,DSMST的纠缠度增加.作为DSMST的应用,利用其实现相干态的量子隐形传输.结果表明:不同于纠缠度随压缩参数增加,保真度获得改善是有条件的,该条件恰好就是一正交分量涨落出现压缩增强的参数区域.此外,解析推导了有效隐形传输保真度(1/2)的条件.  相似文献

We investigate the connection between sub-Planck structure in the Wigner function and the output fidelity of continuous-variable teleportation protocols. When the teleporting parties share a two-mode squeezed state as an entangled resource, high fidelity in the output state requires a squeezing large enough that the smallest sub-Planck structures in an input pure state are teleported faithfully. We formulate this relationship, which leads to an explicit relation between the fine-scale structure in the Wigner function and large-scale extent of the Wigner function, and we treat specific examples, including coherent, number, and random states and states produced by chaotic dynamics. We generalize the pure-state results to teleportation of mixed states.  相似文献

The nonclassicality of the single-variable Hermite polynomial state (SHPS) and its fidelity with squeezed vacuum state are studied in this paper. It is found that the SHPS can be considered as a single mode photon subtracted squeezed vacuum state. A compact expression for the Wigner function (WF) is also derived analytically by using the Weyl-ordered operator invariance under similar transformations. Especially, the nonclassicality is discussed in terms of the negativity of the WF. At last, the fidelity as a non-Gaussianity measure for this state is also discussed.  相似文献

We study a scheme for quantum teleportation of a single-mode squeezed coherent state using entangled two-mode squeezed vacuum. We establish the analytic expression of displacement gain dependent fidelity in terms of the squeezing coherent parameter \(r\) and quantum channel parameter \(p\) . The dependence of the optimum displacement gain for teleporting a squeezed coherent state upon the EPR entanglement is discussed. It shows that the fidelity of teleportation can be improved by tuning the displacement gain. We find that the fidelity increases with the increase of EPR parameter, while it decreases with the increase of the squeezing coherent parameter of the signal. We get infinite squeezing as a resource is required for an ideal and perfect teleportation of unknown input states. We show that the nonclassical properties of an unknown state to be teleported can be preserved in the teleportation.  相似文献

We investigate how the photon addition operation affects the nonclassical properties of the non-Gaussian squeezed state generated by adding photons to each mode of the two-mode squeezed coherent state (TMSCS). By the generating function of two-variable Hermite polynomials, the compact expression of normalization factor is derived. We show that the fields in such states exhibit remarkable sub-Poissonian photon statistics. The photon addition operation can enhance the cross-correlation for appropriate combinations of several parameters involved in the TMSCS. Compared with that of TMSCS, the Wigner function of the photon–added TMSCS (PA-TMSCS) is modulated by a factor which is also related with two-variable Hermite polynomials. Such Wigner functions have some negativity regions and show a strong quantum mechanical interference. In addition, the normalization factor, Mandel’s Q parameter, cross-correlation function and Wigner functions are all sensitive to the compound phase involved in TMSCS.  相似文献

The nonclassical and non-Gaussian quantum states—photon-added two-mode squeezed coherent states have been theoretically introduced by adding multiple photons to each mode of the two-mode squeezed coherent states. Starting from the new expression of two-mode squeezing operator in entangled states representation, the normalization factor is obtained, which is directly related to bivariate Hermite polynomials. The sub-Poissonian photon statistics, cross-correlation between two modes, partial negative Wigner function are observed, which fully reflect the nonclassicality of the target states. The negative Wigner function often display non-Gaussian distribution meanwhile. The investigations may provide experimentalists with some better references in quantum engineering.  相似文献

Quantum teleportation of one- and two-photon superposition states based on EPR entanglement of continuous-wave two-mode squeezed state is discussed. The fidelities of teleportation axe deduced for two different input quantum states. The dependence of the fidelity on the parameters of EPR entanglement and the gain of the classical channels are shown numerically. Comparing with the teleportation of Fock state and coherent state, it is pointed out that for given EPR entanglement and classical gain, the higher the nonclassicality of the input state, the lower the accessible fidelity of teleportation.  相似文献

薛定谔猫态是一类重要的非经典光场,实验上可以通过真空压缩态减光子的方案获得.本文从理论上研究了实验条件对制备薛定谔猫态的影响,主要考虑了包括压缩态的压缩度和纯度、单光子探测器的效率及噪声以及零拍探测器的效率等诸多因素的影响.理想情况下通过减光子方案制备得到的薛定谔猫态为奇光子数态,其相空间原点的Wigner函数为负值是其非经典特性的重要判据,而保真度可以度量制备态与理想猫态之间的相似程度.在压缩态为非纯态以及单光子探测器为商用低效率阈值探测器的情况下,计算了制备猫态的保真度、Wigner函数及其相空间原点处W(0)的表达式,分析了实验条件对薛定谔猫态制备的影响,为制备高质量的薛定谔猫态提供了理论指导.  相似文献

We investigate the observable non-classical features of the photon-added compass state (PACS) by its sub-Poissonian statistics, such as the Mandel’s parameter, second-order correlation function, photon-number distribution and the quasi-probability distribution functions, peculiarly the negativity in the Wigner distribution of the PACS as the specific non-classical features. We study the squeezing properties of the PACS and find the PACS does not show squeezing properties of the quadrature. Finally, we give the non-Gaussianity of the PACS by the fidelity between the PACS and the squeezed coherent state (SCS).  相似文献

This paper has investigated quantum teleportation of even and odd coherent states in terms of the EPR entanglement states for continuous variables. It discusses the relationship between the fidelity and the entanglement of EPR states, which is characterized by the degree of squeezing and the gain of classical channels. It shows that the quality of teleporting quantum states also depends on the characteristics of the states themselves. The properties of teleporting even and odd coherent states at different intensities are investigated. The difference of teleporting two such kinds of quantum states are analysed based on the quantum distance function.  相似文献

We construct a new type of photon-added squeezed coherent state generated by repeatedly operating the bosonic creation operator on a new type of squeezed coherent state [Fan H Y and Xiao M 1996 Phys. Lett. A 220 81]. We find that its normalization factor is related to single-variable Hermite polynomials. Furthermore, we investigate its statistical properties, such as Mandel’s Q parameter, photon-number distribution, and Wigner function. The nonclassicality is displayed in terms of the intense oscillation of photon-number distribution and the negativity of the Wigner function.  相似文献

The dissipative dynamics of Gaussian squeezed states (GSS) and coherent superposition states (CSS) are analytically obtained and compared. Time scales for sustaining different quantum properties such as squeezing, negativity of the Wigner function or photon number distribution are calculated. Some of these characteristic times also depend on initial conditions. For example, in the particular case of squeezing, we find that while the squeezing of CSS is only visible for small enough values of the field intensity, in GSS it is independent of this quantity, which may be experimentally advantageous. The asymptotic dynamics however is quite similar as revealed by the time evolution of the fidelity between states of the two classes.  相似文献
