Materials exhibiting excitation wavelength‐dependent photoluminescence (Ex‐De PL) in the visible region have potential applications in bioimaging, optoelectronics and anti‐counterfeiting. Two multifunctional, chiral [Au(NHC)2][Au(CN)2] (NHC=(4R,5R)/(4S,5S)‐1,3‐dimethyl‐4,5‐diphenyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐imidazolin‐2‐ylidene) complex double salts display Ex‐De circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) in doped polymer films and in ground powder. Emission maxima can be dynamically tuned from 440 to 530 nm by changing the excitation wavelength. The continuously tunable photoluminescence is proposed to originate from multiple emissive excited states as a result of the existence of varied AuI???AuI distances in ground state. The steric properties of the NHC ligand are crucial to the tuning of AuI???AuI distances. An anti‐counterfeiting application using these two salts is demonstrated.  相似文献

A mononuclear bis(NHC)/AuI (NHC=N‐heterocyclic carbene) cationic complex with a rigid bis(phosphane)‐functionalized NHC ligand (PCNHCP) was used to construct linear Au3 and Ag2Au arrays, a Au5 cluster with two intersecting crosslike Au3 arrays, and an unprecedented Cu6 complex with two parallel Cu3 arrays. The impact of metallophilic interactions on photoluminescence was studied experimentally.  相似文献

A sensitive amine-responsive disassembly of self-assembled AuI-CuI double salts was observed and its utilization for the synergistic catalysis was enlightened. Investigation of the disassembly of [Au(NHC)2][CuI2] revealed the contribution of Cu-assisted ligand exchange of N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) by amine in [Au(NHC)2]+ and the capacity of [CuI2] on the oxidative step. By integrating the implicative information coded in the responsive behavior and inherent catalytic functions of d10 metal complexes, a catalyst for the oxidative carbonylation of amines was developed. The advantages of this method were clearly reflected on mild reaction conditions and the significantly expanded scope (51 examples); both primary and steric secondary amines can be employed as substrates. The cooperative reactivity from Au and Cu centers, as an indispensable prerequisite for the excellent catalytic performance, was validated in the synthesis of (un)symmetric ureas and carbamates.  相似文献

Aggregation-induced emission (AIE) provides an efficient strategy to synthesize highly luminescent metal nanoclusters (NCs), however, rational control of emission energy and intensity of metal NCs is still challenging. This communication reveals the impact of surface AuI-thiolate motifs on the AIE properties of Au NCs, by employing a series of water-soluble glutathione (GSH)-coordinated Au complexes and NCs as a model ([Au10SR10], [Au15SR13], [Au18SR14], and [Au25SR18], SR=thiolate ligand). Spectroscopic investigations show that the emission wavelength of Au NCs is adjustable from visible to the near-infrared II (NIR-II) region by controlling the length of the AuI-SR motifs on the NC surface. Decreasing the length of AuI-SR motifs also changes the origin of cluster luminescence from AIE-type phosphorescence to Au0-core-dictated fluorescence. This effect becomes more prominent when the degree of aggregation of Au NCs increases in solution.  相似文献

Realizing high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) in the near-infrared (NIR) region is challenging and valuable for luminescent material, especially for thermally activated delay fluorescence (TADF) material. In this work, we report two achiral cyclic trinuclear Au(I) complexes, Au3(4-Clpyrazolate)3 and Au3(4-Brpyrazolate)3 (denoted as Cl−Au and Br−Au) , obtained through the reaction of 4-chloro-1H-pyrazole and 4-bromo-1H-pyrazole with Au(I) salts, respectively. Both Cl−Au and Br−Au exhibit TADF with high PLQY (>70 %) in the NIR I (700–900 nm) (λmax = 720 nm) region, exceeding other NIR−TADF emitters in the solid state. Photophysical experiments and theoretical calculations confirmed the efficient NIR−TADF properties of Cl−Au and Br−Au were attributed to the small energy gap ΔE(S1-T2) (S = singlet, T = triplet) and the large spin-orbital coupling induced by ligand-to-metal-metal charge transfer of molecular aggregations. In addition, both complexes crystallize in the achiral Pna21 space group (mm2 point group) and are circularly polarized light (CPL) active with maxima luminescent dissymmetry factor |glum| of 3.4 × 10−3 ( Cl−Au ) and 2.7 × 10−3 ( Br−Au ) for their crystalline powder samples, respectively. By using Cl−Au as the emitting ink, 3D-printed luminescent logos are fabricated, which own anti-counterfeiting functions due to its CPL behavior dependent on the crystallinity.  相似文献

An NHC‐coordinated diphosphene is employed as ligand for the synthesis of a hydrocarbon‐soluble monomeric AuI hydride, which readily adds CO2 at room temperature yielding the corresponding AuI formate. The reversible reaction can be expedited by the addition of NHC, which induces β‐hydride shift and the removal of CO2 from equilibrium through the formation of an NHC‐CO2 adduct. The AuI formate is alternatively formed by dehydrogenative coupling of the AuI hydride with formic acid (HCO2H), thus in total establishing a reaction sequence for the AuI hydride mediated dehydrogenation of HCO2H as chemical hydrogen storage material.  相似文献

The interaction energy of a [Au{C(NHMe)2}2]+ ... [Au{C(NHMe)2}2]+ dimer is investigated using the MP2 method and the LANL2DZ basis set when isolated or embedded in ionic an [Au{C(NHMe)2}2]2anion2 aggregate, a good model for the environment that these dimers feel in ionic crystals. A repulsive interaction energy is obtained when the dimer is isolated. However, it is possible to find short AuI ... AuI separations in [Au{C(NHMe)2}2]2anion2 aggregates, because in these aggregates the sum of the cation ... anion interactions overweight the sum of the cation ... cation plus anion...anion interactions. This explains why short AuI ... AuI separations are found in ionic crystals. The AuI ... AuI interaction found in [Au{C(NHMe)2}2]2 anion2 aggregates shows the same features observed in energetically stable dimers presenting AuI... AuI bonds. This makes appropriate to use the name counterion-mediated bonds for the AuI... AuI interactions found in [Au{C(NHMe)2}2]2 anion2 aggregates and ionic crystals.  相似文献

The dinuclear Pt–Au complex [(CNC)(PPh3)Pt Au(PPh3)](ClO4) ( 2 ) (CNC=2,6‐diphenylpyridinate) was prepared. Its crystal structure shows a rare metal–metal bonding situation, with very short Pt–Au and Au–Cipso(CNC) distances and dissimilar Pt–Cipso(CNC) bonds. Multinuclear NMR spectra of 2 show the persistence of the Pt–Au bond in solution and the occurrence of unusual fluxional behavior involving the [PtII] and [AuI] metal fragments. The [PtII]??? [AuI] interaction has been thoroughly studied by means of DFT calculations. The observed bonding situation in 2 can be regarded as a model for an intermediate in a transmetalation process.  相似文献

AuIII complexes with N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands have shown remarkable potential as anticancer agents, yet their fate in vivo has not been thoroughly examined and understood. Reported herein is the synthesis of new AuIII‐NHC complexes by direct oxidation with radioactive [124I]I2 as a valuable strategy to monitor the in vivo biodistribution of this class of compounds using positron emission tomography (PET). While in vitro analyses provide direct evidence for the importance of AuIII‐to‐AuI reduction to achieve full anticancer activity, in vivo studies reveal that a fraction of the AuIII‐NHC prodrug is not immediately reduced after administration but able to reach the major organs before metabolic activation.  相似文献

The dinuclear AuI complex containing the 4,5‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐9,9‐dimethylxanthene (xantphos) ligand and trifluoroacetate anions exists in a solvent‐free form, [μ‐4,5‐bis(diphenylphosphino)‐9,9‐dimethylxanthene]bis[(trifluoroacetato)gold(I)], [Au2(C2F3O2)2(C39H32OP2)], (I), and as a dichloromethane solvate, [Au2(C2F3O2)2(C39H32OP2)]·0.58CH2Cl2, (II). The trifluoroacetate anions are coordinated to the AuI centres bridged by the xantphos ligand in both compounds. The AuI atoms are in distorted linear coordination environments in both compounds. The phosphine substituents are in a syn arrangement in the xantphos ligand, which facilitates the formation of short aurophilic Au...Au interactions of 2.8966 (8) Å in (I) and 2.9439 (6) Å in (II).  相似文献

The crystal structures of two salts of bis(thiourea)gold(I) complexes, namely bis(thiourea‐κS)gold(I) chloride, [Au(CH4N2S)2]Cl, (I), and bis[bis(thiourea‐κS)gold(I)] sulfate, [Au(CH4N2S)2]2SO4, (II), have been determined. The chloride salt, (I), is isomorphous with the corresponding bromide salt, although there are differences in the bonding. The AuI ion is located on an inversion centre and coordinated by two symmetry‐related thiourea ligands through the lone pairs on their S atoms [Au—S 2.278 (2) Å and Au—S—C 105.3 (2)°]. The sulfate salt, (II), crystallizes with four independent [Au(CH4N2S)2]+ cations per asymmetric unit, all with nearly linear S—Au—S bonding. The cations in (II) have similar conformations to that found for (I). The Au—S distances range from 2.276 (3) to 2.287 (3) Å and the Au—S—C angles from 173.5 (1) to 177.7 (1)°. These data are relevant in interpreting different electrochemical processes where gold–thiourea species are formed.  相似文献

Metallophilicity is an essential concept that builds upon the attraction between closed shell metal ions. We report on the [M2(bisNHC)2]2+ (M=AuI, AgI; NHC=N-heterocyclic carbene) systems, which display almost identical features in the solid state. However, in solution the Au2 cation exhibits a significantly higher degree of rigidity owed to the stronger character of the aurophilic interactions. Both Au2 and Ag2 cationic constructs are able to accommodate Ag+ ions via M–M interactions, despite their inherent Coulombic repulsion. When electrostatic repulsion between host and guest is partially diminished, M–M distances are substantially shortened. Quantum chemical calculations estimate intermetallic bond orders up to 0.2. Although at the limit of (or beyond) the van der Waals radii, metallophilic interactions are responsible for their behavior in solution.  相似文献

The aurophilicity exhibited by AuI complexes depends strongly on the nature of the supporting ligands present and the length of the Au–element (Au—E) bond may be used as a measure of the donor–acceptor properties of the coordinated ligands. A binuclear iron–gold complex, [1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene‐2κC2]dicarbonyl‐1κ2C‐(1η5‐cyclopentadienyl)gold(I)iron(II)(AuFe) benzene trisolvate, [AuFe(C5H5)(C27H36N2)(CO)2]·3C6H6, was prepared by reaction of K[CpFe(CO)2] (Cp is cyclopentadienyl) with (NHC)AuCl [NHC = 1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene]. In addition to the binuclear complex, the asymmetric unit contains three benzene solvent molecules. This is the first example of a two‐coordinated Au atom bonded to an Fe and a C atom of an N‐heterocyclic carbene.  相似文献

A luminescent bimetallic AuI complex comprised of N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) and carbazole (Cz) ligands, that is, (NHC’)Au(NHC)AuCz has been synthesized and studied. Both carbene ligands in the bimetallic complex act as electron acceptors in tandem to increase the energy separation between the ground and excited state, which is higher than those found in either monometallic analogue, (NHC)AuCz and (NHC’)AuCz. A coplanar geometry designed into the tandem complex ensures sufficient electronic coupling between the π-orbitals of the ligands to impart a strong oscillator strength to the singlet intra-ligand charge-transfer (1ICT) transition. Theoretical modelling indicates that the emissive ICT excited state involves both NHC ligands. The tandem complex gives blue luminescence (λmax=480 nm) with a high photoluminescent quantum yield (ΦPL=0.80) with a short decay lifetime (τ=0.52 μs). Temperature-dependent photophysical studies indicate that emission is via thermally assisted delayed fluorescence (TADF) and give a small singlet-triplet energy difference (ΔEST=50 meV, 400 cm−1) consistent with the short TADF lifetime.  相似文献

The cation of the title compound, [Au4(PPh2CH2PPhCH2PPh2)2Cl2][Au(C6F5)3Cl]2 or [Au4Cl2(C32H29P3)2][AuCl(C6F5)3]2, displays a rhomboidal geometry for the Au atoms, with short Au?Au distances of 3.104 (2) and 3.185 (1) Å; the linear coordination at the AuI atoms is distorted: P—Au—P 164.7 (2)° and P—Au—Cl 170.67 (11)°. The anion shows the expected square‐planar geometry at AuIII, with the Au atom 0.022 (5) Å out of the plane of the four donor atoms.  相似文献

The present study is aimed at elucidating the factors that direct the assembly of a specific family of AuI species. The assembly of AuI centers and dithiocarboxylato or xanthato ligands results in a surprising structural diversity observed by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. However, in solution, just evidences for discrete bimetallic [Au2L2] species have been observed. Interestingly, when dithiocarboxylato ligands have been used, a reversible supramolecular assembly has been observed forming the supramolecules of formulae [Au2L2]2 and [Au2L2]3. Initial studies on luminescent properties have been carried out at variable temperature. All the compounds show red emissions in the solid state at very similar energies, suggesting that the intramolecular interactions play a more relevant role in the luminescent properties than the intermolecular ones. The computational studies indicate that not only Au???Au interactions, but also Au???S and S???S ones play a role in the structure and energetic of the supramolecular species, as well as for the choice between supramolecular association or intramolecular oligomerization.  相似文献

Aurophilic interactions (AuI???AuI) are crucial in directing the supramolecular self‐assembly of many gold(I) compounds; however, this intriguing chemistry has been rarely explored for the self‐assembly of nanoscale building blocks. Herein, we report on studies on aurophilic interactions in the structure‐directed self‐assembly of ultrasmall gold nanoparticles or nanoclusters (NCs, <2 nm) using [Au25(SR)18]? (SR=thiolate ligand) as a model cluster. The self‐assembly of NCs is initiated by surface‐motif reconstruction of [Au25(SR)18]? from short SR‐[AuI‐SR]2 units to long SR‐[AuI‐SR]x (x>2) staples accompanied by structure modification of the intrinsic Au13 kernel. Such motif reconstruction increases the content of AuI species in the protecting shell of Au NCs, providing the structural basis for directed aurophilic interactions, which promote the self‐assembly of Au NCs into well‐defined nanoribbons in solution. More interestingly, the compact structure and effective aurophilic interactions in the nanoribbons significantly enhance the luminescence intensity of Au NCs with an absolute quantum yield of 6.2 % at room temperature.  相似文献

Thermal Decomposition of Some Alkali Metal and Ammonium Halogenoaurates(III), and the Crystal Structure of the Decomposition Products, Rb2Au2Br6, Rb3Au3Cl8, and Au(NH3)Cl3 The thermal decomposition of the salts MAuX4 and M2Au2I6, with M = K, NH4, Rb; and X = Cl, Br; has been investigated. With the exception of NH4AuCl4 and KAuCl4, all decompose with loss of halogen to the mixed valence compound M3Au3X8, sometimes via the intermediate M2Au2X6. Tetraiodoaurates are not stable at room temperature. In the decomposition of NH4AuCl4, HCl, and Au(NH3)Cl3 are formed. KAuCl4 decomposes directly into Au und KCl. The crystal lattices of the salts Rb2Au2Br6 and Rb3Au3Cl8 are monoclinic and built up from Rb+. AuX2?, and AuX4? ions. There exists a close structural relationship between Rb2Au2Br6, Cs2Au2Cl6, and the perovskite structure. Rb2Au2I6 is isotypic with Rb2Au2Br6. The Rb3Au3Cl8 structure type is also observed for the M3Au3X8 salts with M = NH4, K, Rb; and X = Br, I. In the structure of Au(NH3)Cl3 there are discrete molecules in which Au(III) is surrounded by 3 Cl and 1 N atoms in square coplanar coordination. The infrared spectra of these compounds are discussed.  相似文献

The title compound, [AuBr(C6H11NS)]n, formed through an AuIIIAuI reduction process, presents a polymeric structure including Au chains with alternating Au—Au distances of 3.0898 (8) and 3.1181 (8) Å. The coordination geometry is best described on the basis of linear [AuBr(C6H11NS)] molecules, which are associated into a one‐dimensional polymer via a common aurophilic interaction.  相似文献
