The present studies show that any nonzero amount of coherence of a system can be converted into entanglement between the system and an incoherent ancillary system via incoherent operations. According to this conclusion, we study the process of converting coherence into entanglement via a unitary operation where the initial ancillary system is of different quantum state. We find that some other conditions should be satisfied in converting coherence into entanglement.We also study the conditions of coherence consumption of converting coherence into entanglement.  相似文献

光子带隙是指某一频率范围的波不能在周期变化的空间介质中传播,即这种结构本身存在“禁带”,并已成功地应用于滤波器、放大器和混频器等器件的设计中.此前,许多专家都致力于提高带隙的反射率,但其只能逐渐接近1.本文在囚禁于一维光晶格中的冷原子介质中实现两个可调光子带隙,并通过选择两基态为精细结构的三能级∧型原子系统,考虑自发辐射相干效应来探究这两个带隙的反射率.适当调节参数,探测场出现增益,从而获得较高反射率的带隙结构,甚至可以超过1.此外,两个带隙反射率还可以通过调节偶极矩之间的夹角以及非相干驱动场强度等参数来操控.  相似文献

用相干密度法研究了一维非相干光束在饱和对数型光折变介质中的自陷行为,发现在传输过程中孤子的形态可具有稳态和周期性振荡的特点,具体取决于入射光束的初始宽度、相干特性和材料的非线性响应;研究了构成非相干光束的相干组份的传播行为,发现各相干组份的强度和光束宽度沿纵向发生周期性变化,峰值位置沿横向发生周期性变化.另外,利用横向相干宽度研究了非相干光束在各种传输状态下相干特性的变化,从而进一步解释了非相干光束在不同传播状态下的演化特性.  相似文献

Within the algebraic frame of smeared photon fields, the coherence properties of squeezed multi-photon states are elaborated. The squeezing Bogoliubov automorphisms are constructed by means of suitable one-mode symplectic transformations in the infinite-dimensional test-function space. Transposed into the state space, these transformations are shown to preserve first-order coherence when applied to coherent, classical, Fock-normal states in spite of rendering them nonclassical. The cases, where first-order coherence is destroyed, are also classified. Very special conditions on the initial state modes and on the operation parameters are worked out, under which even second-order coherence is still valid for the transformed classical coherent states, in spite of exhibiting squeezed fluctuations.  相似文献

Quantum coherence and discord are two kinds of manifestations of nonclassicality. By calculating the coherence and discord in the specific bipartite quantum systems, we show quantitative connections between the coherence and the discord in the bipartite quantum systems created from local systems with the help of incoherent operations. We show that the coherence bounds the dynamical discord, and under particular conditions of the initial quantum states, the coherence of single systems is equal to the dynamical discord. We extend these results to the multipartite quantum systems.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of coherence-induced state ordering under incoherent channels, particularly four specific Markovian channels: amplitude damping channel, phase damping channel, depolarizing channel and bit flit channel for single-qubit states. We show that the amplitude damping channel, phase damping channel, and depolarizing channel do not change the coherence-induced state ordering by l1 norm of coherence, relative entropy of coherence, geometric measure of coherence, and Tsallis relative α-entropies, while the bit flit channel does change for some special cases.  相似文献

量子相干性是量子信息处理的基本要素,在量子计算中扮演着重要的角色.为了便于讨论量子相干性在量子计算中的作用,本文从离散Wigner函数角度对量子相干性进行了探讨.首先对奇素数维量子系统的离散Wigner函数进行了分析,分离出表征相干性的部分,提出了一种可能的基于离散Wigner函数的量子相干性度量方法,并对其进行了量子相干性度量规范的分析;同时也比较了该度量与l_1范数相干性度量之间的关系.重要的是,这种度量方法能够明确给出量子相干性程度与衡量量子态量子计算加速能力的负性和之间不等式关系,由此可以解析地解释量子相干性仅是量子计算加速的必要条件.  相似文献

We consider entanglement-assisted remote quantum state manipulation of bipartite mixed states. Several aspects are addressed: we present a class of mixed states of rank two that can be transformed into another class of mixed states under entanglement-assisted local operations with classical communication, but for which such a transformation is impossible without assistance. Furthermore, we demonstrate enhancement of the efficiency of purification protocols with the help of entanglement-assisted operations. Finally, transformations from one mixed state to mixed target states which are sufficiently close to the source state are contrasted with similar transformations in the pure-state case.  相似文献

In an effort to provide a computationally convenient approach to the characterization of partially coherent synchrotron radiation in phase space, a thorough discussion of the minimum dimensionality of the Wigner distribution function for rotationally symmetric sources of arbitrary degrees of coherence is presented. It is found that perfectly coherent, perfectly incoherent and partially coherent sources may all be characterized by a three‐dimensional reduced Wigner distribution function, and some special cases are discussed in which a two‐dimensional reduced Wigner distribution function suffices. An application of the dimension‐reducing formalism to the case of partially coherent radiation from a planar undulator and a circularly symmetric electron beam as can be found in linear accelerators is demonstrated. The photon distribution is convolved over a realistic electron bunch, and how the beta function, emittance and energy spread of the bunch affect the total degree of coherence of the radiation is inspected. Finally the cross spectral density is diagonalized and the eigenmodes of the partially coherent radiation are recovered.  相似文献

贝尔不等式在定域性和实在性的双重假设下,对于被分隔的粒子同时被测量时其结果的可能关联程度建立了一个严格的限制,违反贝尔不等式确保量子态存在纠缠.本文利用量子相干性的l1和相对熵测度构建了四体量子贝尔不等式,发现一般实系数Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger纯态和簇纯态总是违反四体相对熵相干性测度贝尔不等式,因此违反四体相对熵相干性测度贝尔不等式的这些态是纠缠态.  相似文献

对Bogatyryova等人近来提出的一种可分离位相的部分相干光的相干涡旋作了详细研究.这类新的光束由相同角向指数的拉盖尔-高斯(LG)模非相干叠加而成.研究表明,叠加LG模式的模指数,权重因子和参考点位置的选择都会影响圆刃型位错出现的位置,使得涡旋消失或出现多个相干涡旋.而且,LG模叠加而成的位相不可分离的部分相干光也存在相干涡旋. 关键词: 奇点光学 一类新的部分相干光束 相干涡旋 圆刃型位错  相似文献

The paper shows that the Wigner distribution function of quantum optical coherent states, or of a superposition of such states, can be produced and measured with a classical optical set-up using classical coherent light fields. This measurement cannot be done directly in quantum optics since the quantum phase space variables correspond to non-commuting operators. As an example, the Wigner distribution function of Schrödinger cat states of light has been measured. It is also shown that the possibility of measuring the Wigner distribution function of quantum coherent states with classical coherent fields is unique in the sense that it cannot be extended to other quantum states, not even to the incoherent limit of the superposition of coherent states.  相似文献

We present the observation of incoherent anti-dark photovoltaic solitons in LiNbO3:Fe crystal. This new class of soliton states involves bright photovoltaic solitons on a background beam meeting ?? > 1, where ?? is the ratio of background illumination photovoltaic constant to that of soliton beam. For ?? < 1, dark photovoltaic solitons are generated. Furthermore, this novel type solitons are investigated experimentally by injecting coherent light and partially coherent background of infinite extent. In case of spatial coherence of the background lower than the threshold of incoherent modulation instability, these results indicate that bright photovoltaic solitons can propagate in a stable fashion.  相似文献

This paper describes a change in optical spectrum on propagation in free space for a particular class of spatially partially coherent fields emanating from a polychromatic secondary source. A rectangular opening aperture in an opaque screen, illuminated with an extended incoherent polychromatic primary source, works as the secondary source. The spectral change is explored in detail theoretically and experimentally in association with spatial coherence in the secondary source as well as dispersive diffraction by the secondary source. The peak shift of the spectrum is associated with the coherence area for characterizing the secondary source. The peak shift becomes maximum if the secondary source is spatially coherent, but no shift occurs if the secondary source is spatially incoherent.  相似文献

In this paper, we study coherence-induced state ordering with Tsallis relative entropy of coherence, relative entropy of coherence and l1 norm of coherence, and give the sufficient conditions of the same state order induced by above coherence measures. First, we show that the above measures give the same ordering for single-qubit states in some special cases. Second, we consider some special states in a d-dimensional quantum system. We show that the above measures generate the same ordering for these special states. Finally, we discuss dynamics of coherence-induced state ordering under Markovian channels. We find amplitude damping channel changes the coherence-induced ordering even though for single-qubit states with fixed mixedness.  相似文献

二维电子光谱是一种同时具有高的时间分辨率和光谱分辨率的非线性光谱学方法.它不仅可以对凝聚相分子复杂动力学过程进行直接测量,还可以测量不同电子态、电子态-振动态之间的量子相干过程.2007年,Flemming课题组利用二维电子光谱于低温77 K的条件下在捕光天线蛋白Fenna-Matthews-Olson中发现了能量传递过程存在量子相干现象.尽管后续的实验研究表明,该体系中实验观测到的量子相干现象不可能是由单纯的电子态相干引起的,然而这一实验现象的报道极大地激发了人们对天然或人工模拟光合系统中存在量子相干传能途径的探索,目前还是一个相当活跃的研究领域.本文旨在通过介绍二维电子光谱学原理、装置及其在光合作用体系能量传递中量子相干现象的应用,使二维电子光谱这种实验方法能够在更多的研究领域得以普及与推广.  相似文献

We study the skew information-based coherence of quantum states and derive explicit formulas for Werner states and isotropic states in a set of autotensors of mutually unbiased bases (MUBs). We also give surfaces of skew information-based coherence for Bell-diagonal states and a special class of X states in both computational basis and in MUBs. Moreover, we depict the surfaces of the skew information-based coherence for Bell-diagonal states under various types of local nondissipative quantum channels. The results show similar as well as different features compared with relative entropy of coherence and l1 norm of coherence.  相似文献

Photon quantum statistics of light can be shown by the high-order coherence. The fourth-order coherences of various quantum states including Fock states, coherent states, thermal states and squeezed vacuum states are investigated based on a double Hanbury Brown–Twiss (HBT) scheme. Propagation properties of bright and dark incoherent beams are numerically studied in photovoltaic-photorefractive crystal by using coherent density approach for the first time. Numerical simulations not only exhibit that bright incoherent photovoltaic quasi-soliton, grey-like incoherent photovoltaic soliton, incoherent soliton doublet and triplet can be established under proper conditions, but also display that the spatial coherence properties of these incoherent beams can be significantly affected during propagation by the photovoltaic field.  相似文献

Based on the resource theory for quantifying the coherence of quantum channels, we introduce a new coherence quantifier for quantum channels via maximum relative entropy. We prove that the maximum relative entropy for coherence of quantum channels is directly related to the maximally coherent channels under a particular class of superoperations, which results in an operational interpretation of the maximum relative entropy for coherence of quantum channels. We also introduce the conception of subsuperchannels and sub-superchannel discrimination. For any quantum channels, we show that the advantage of quantum channels in sub-superchannel discrimination can be exactly characterized by the maximum relative entropy of coherence for quantum channels. Similar to the maximum relative entropy of coherence for channels, the robustness of coherence for quantum channels has also been investigated. We show that the maximum relative entropy of coherence for channels provides new operational interpretations of robustness of coherence for quantum channels and illustrates the equivalence of the dephasing-covariant superchannels,incoherent superchannels, and strictly incoherent superchannels in these two operational tasks.  相似文献
