All‐inorganic lead halide perovskites are promising candidates for optoelectronic applications. However, fundamental questions remain over the component interaction in the perovskite precursor solution due to the limitation of the most commonly used solvents of N,N‐dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Here, we report an interaction tailoring strategy for all‐inorganic CsPbI3?xBrx perovskites by involving the ionic liquid solvent methylammonium acetate (MAAc). C=O shows strong interaction with lead (Pb2+) and N?H???I hydrogen bond formation is observed. The interactions stabilize the perovskite precursor solution and allow production of the high‐quality perovskite films by retarding the crystallization. Without the necessity for antisolvent treatment, the one‐step air‐processing approach delivers photovoltaic cells regardless of humidity, with a high efficiency of 17.10 % along with long operation stability over 1500 h under continuous light illumination.  相似文献

ABX3-type halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have been a hot topic recently due to their fascinating optoelectronic properties. It has been demonstrated that A-site ions have an impact on their photophysical and chemical properties, such as the optical band gap and chemical stability. The pursuit of halide perovskite materials with diverse A-site species would deepen the understanding of the structure–property relationship of the perovskite family. In this work we have attempted to synthesize rubidium-based perovskite NCs. We have discovered that the partial substitution of Rb+ by Cs+ help to stabilize the orthorhombic RbPbBr3 NCs at low temperature, which otherwise can only be obtained at high temperature. The inclusion of Cs+ into the RbPbBr3 lattice results in highly photoluminescent Rb1−xCsxPbBr3 NCs. With increasing amounts of Cs+, the band gaps of the Rb1−xCsxPbBr3 NCs decrease, leading to a redshift of the photoluminescence peak. Also, the Rb1−xCsxPbBr3 NCs (x=0.4) show good stability under ambient conditions. This work demonstrates the high structural flexibility and tunability of halide perovskite materials through an A-site cation substitution strategy and sheds light on the optimization of perovskite materials for application in high-performance optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

The hybrid methylammonium (MA) lead halide MAPbX3 perovskites present an appealing optoelectronic behavior with applications in high-efficiency solar cells. The orientation of the organic MA units may play an important role in the properties, given the degrees of freedom for internal motion of MA groups within the PbX6 network. The present neutron powder diffraction study reveals the dynamic features of the MA units in the hybrid perovskite series MAPb(Br1−xClx)3, with x=0, 0.33, 0.5, 0.67, and 1. From difference Fourier maps, the H and C/N positions were located within the PbX6 lattice; the refinement of the crystal structures unveiled the MA conformations. Three different orientations were found to exist as a function of the chlorine content (x) and, therefore, of the cubic unit-cell size. These conformations are stabilized by H-bond interactions with the halide ions, and were found to agree with those reported from theoretical calculations.  相似文献

Tin‐based perovskites with excellent optoelectronic properties and suitable band gaps are promising candidates for the preparation of efficient lead‐free perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, it is challenging to prepare highly stable and efficient tin‐based PSCs because Sn2+ in perovskites can be easily oxidized to Sn4+ upon air exposure. Here we report the fabrication of air‐stable FASnI3 solar cells by introducing hydroxybenzene sulfonic acid or its salt as an antioxidant additive into the perovskite precursor solution along with excess SnCl2. The interaction between the sulfonate group and the Sn2+ ion enables the in situ encapsulation of the perovskite grains with a SnCl2–additive complex layer, which results in greatly enhanced oxidation stability of the perovskite film. The corresponding PSCs are able to maintain 80 % of the efficiency over 500 h upon air exposure without encapsulation, which is over ten times longer than the best result reported previously. Our results suggest a possible strategy for the future design of efficient and stable tin‐based PSCs.  相似文献

Organic‐inorganic hybrid perovskites have attracted great attention over the last few years as potential light‐harvesting materials for efficient and cost‐effective solar cells. However, the use of lead iodide in state‐of‐the‐art perovskite devices may demonstrate an obstacle for future commercialization due to toxicity of lead. Herein we report on the synthesis and characterization of low dimensional tin‐based perovskites. We found that the use of symmetrical imidazolium‐based cations such as benzimidazolium (Bn) and benzodiimidazolium (Bdi) allow the formation of 2D perovskites with relatively narrow band gaps compared to traditional ‐NH3+ amino groups, with optical band gap values of 1.81 eV and 1.79 eV for Bn2SnI4 and BdiSnI4 respectively. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the optical properties in this class of perovskites can be tuned by formation of a quasi 2D perovskite with the formula Bn2FASn2I7. Additionally, we investigate the change in band gap in the mixed Sn/Pb solid solution Bn2SnxPbx?1I4. Devices fabricated with Bn2SnI4 show promising efficiencies of around 2.3 %.  相似文献

The performance of perovskite solar cells is strongly influenced by the composition and microstructure of the perovskite. A recent approach to improve the power conversion efficiencies utilized mixed‐halide perovskites, but the halide ions and their roles were not directly studied. Unraveling their precise location in the perovskite layer is of paramount importance. Here, we investigated four different perovskites by using X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and found that among the three studied mixed‐halide perovskites, CH3NH3Pb(I0.74Br0.26)3 and CH3NH3PbBr3?xClx show peaks that unambiguously demonstrate the presence of iodide and bromide in the former, and bromide and chloride in the latter. The CH3NH3PbI3?xClx perovskite shows anomalous behavior, the iodide content far outweighs that of the chloride; a small proportion of chloride, in all likelihood, resides deep within the TiO2/absorber layer. Our study reveals that there are many distinguishable structural differences between these perovskites, and that these directly impact the photovoltaic performances.  相似文献

Single crystals of organolead halide perovskites attract much attention to electrooptical and photovoltaic applications. They are usually prepared in precursor solutions incubated at controlled temperatures or under optimized vapor atmosphere conditions, and thus, multiple perovskite crystals are nucleated all over the solution. Multiple nucleation of crystals prevents efficient use of precursors in the preferential growth of large single crystals. An innovative approach is presented for spatiotemporally controlled, selective nucleation and growth of single crystals of lead halide perovskites by optical trapping with a focused laser beam. Upon such trapping in unsaturated precursor solutions, nucleation of MAPbX3 (MA=CH3NH3+; X=Cl?, Br?, or I?) is induced at the focal spot through increase in the concentration of perovskite precursors in the focal volume. The rate at which the nucleated crystal grows depends upon whether the perovskite absorbs the trapping laser or not. These findings suggest that optical trapping would be useful to prepare various perovskite single crystals and modify their optical and electronic properties; thereby, offering new methods for engineering of perovskite crystals.  相似文献

3D and 2D hybrid perovskites, which have been known for more than 20 years, have emerged recently as promising materials for optoelectronic applications, particularly the 3D compound (CH3NH3)PbI3 (MAPI). The discovery of a new family of hybrid perovskites called d ‐MAPI is reported: the association of PbI2 with both methyl ammonium (MA+) and hydroxyethyl ammonium (HEA+) cations leads to a series of five compounds with general formulation (MA)1−2.48x(HEA)3.48x[Pb1−xI3−x]. These materials, which are lead‐ and iodide‐deficient compared to MAPI while retaining 3D architecture, can be considered as a bridge between the 2D and 3D materials. Moreover, they can be prepared as crystallized thin films by spin‐coating. These new 3D materials appear very promising for optoelectronic applications, not only because of their reduced lead content, but also in account of the large flexibility of their chemical composition through potential substitutions of MA+, HEA+, Pb2+ and I ions.  相似文献

High‐quality phase‐pure MA1?xFAxPbI3 planar films (MA=methylammonium, FA=formamidinium) with extended absorption and enhanced thermal stability are difficult to deposit by regular simple solution chemistry approaches owing to crystallization competition between the easy‐to‐crystallize but unwanted δ‐FAPbI3/MAPbI3 and FAxMA1?xPbI3 requiring rigid crystallization conditions. Here A 2D–3D conversion to transform compact 2D mixed composition HMA1?xFAxPbI3Cl perovskite precursor films into 3D MA1?xFAxPbI3 (x=0.1–0.9) perovskites is presented. The designed Cl/I and H/FA(MA) ion exchange reaction induced fast transformation of compact 2D perovskite film, helping to form the phase‐pure and high quality MA1?xFAxPbI3 without δ‐FAPbI3 and MAPbI3 impurity. In all, we successfully developed a facile one‐step method to fabricate high quality phase‐pure MA1?xFAxPbI3 (x=0.1–0.9) perovskite films by 2D–3D conversion of HMA1?xFAxPbI3Cl perovskite. This 2D–3D conversion is a promising strategy for lead halide perovskite fabrication.  相似文献

The performance of La2−xCexCu1−yZnyO4 perovskites as catalysts for the high temperature water-gas shift reaction (HT-WGSR) was investigated. The catalysts were characterized by EDS, XRD, BET surface area, TPR, and XANES. The results showed that all the perovskites exhibited the La2CuO4 orthorhombic structure, so the Pechini method is suitable for the preparation of pure perovskite. However, the La1.90Ce0.10CuO4 perovskite alone, when calcined at 350/700 °C, also showed a (La0.935Ce0.065)2CuO4 perovskite with tetragonal structure, which produced a surface area higher than the other perovskites. The perovskites that exhibited the best catalytic performance were those calcined at 350/700 °C and, among these, La1.90Ce0.10CuO4 was outstanding, probably because of the high surface area associated with the presence of the (La0.935Ce0.065)2CuO4 perovskite with tetragonal structure and orthorhombic La2CuO4 phase.  相似文献

Mn2+ doped colloidal three-dimensional (3D) lead halide perovskite nanocrystal (PNC) has attracted intensive research attention; however, the low exciton binding energy and fatal optical instability of 3D PNC seriously hinder the optoelectronic application. Therefore, it remains significant to explore new stable host perovskite with strongly bound exciton to realize more desirable luminescent property. In this work, we utilized bulk one-dimensional (1D) hybrid perovskite of [AEP]PbBr5 ⋅ H2O (AEP=N-aminoethylpiperazine) as structural platform to rationally optimize the luminescent property by a controllable Mn2+ doping strategy. Significantly, the series of Mn2+-doped 1D [AEP]PbBr5 ⋅ H2O show enhanced energy transfer efficiency from the strongly bound excitons of host material to 3d electrons of Mn2+ ions, resulting in tunable broadband light emissions from weak yellow to strong red spectral range with highest photoluminescence quantum yield up to 28.41 %. More importantly, these Mn2+-doped 1D perovskites display ultrahigh structural and optical stabilities in humid atmosphere, water and high temperature exceeding the conventional 3D PNC. Combined highly efficient, tunable and stable broadband light emissions enable Mn2+-doped 1D perovskite as excellent down-converting phosphor showcasing the potential application in white light emitting diode. This work not only provides a profound understanding of low-dimensional perovskites but also opens a new way to rationally design high-performance broadband light emitting perovskites for solid-state lighting and displaying devices.  相似文献

Transition-metal containing halides with Ruddlesden-Popper (RP) perovskite structures have received extensive attention owing to their emerging and anisotropic photoelectric functionalities. Among them, A2CuX4 (A=alkali metal or organic cations, X=Cl, Br, I) series are particular, because of the Jahn-Teller distortion of Cu2+ sensitive to external stimuli such as temperature and pressure. In this article, we report the structure evolution and physical property responses of RP perovskites Rb2CuCl4-xBrx (x=1, 2) to external pressure. Dramatic structural phase transitions from orthorhombic to monoclinic occur around 3.0 GPa in both materials regardless of their distinct compositions. Structure analyses reveal the suppression and final vanishing of the Jahn-Teller distortion of Cu2+ cations under compression and crossing the phase transition, respectively. Rb2CuCl4-xBrx perovskites exhibit abrupt bandgap narrowing (from reddish-brown to black) along with the structural phase transition, and an overall bandgap narrowing of 75% up to ∼27 GPa but still keeping semiconductive. During the compression processes, the resistances of Rb2CuCl4-xBrx have been greatly reduced by 5-orders of magnitude. Moreover, all of the pressure-induced phenomena in Rb2CuCl4-xBrx perovskites are reversible upon decompression and no obvious difference is observed for the pressure responses between [CuCl4Br2] and [CuCl4(Cl,Br)2] coordination environments. The impact of pressure on the structural and physical properties in two-dimensional Rb2CuCl4-xBrx provides in-depth understanding on the structure design of functional halide perovskites at ambient conditions.  相似文献

Methylammonium (CH3NH3+) and formamidinium ((NH2)2CH+) based lead iodide perovskites are currently the two commonly used organic–inorganic lead iodide perovskites. There are still no alternative organic cations that can produce perovskites with band gaps spanning the visible spectrum (that is, <1.7 eV) for solar cell applications. Now, a new perovskite using large propane‐1,3‐diammonium cation (1,3‐Pr(NH3)22+) with a chemical structure of (1,3‐Pr(NH3)2)0.5PbI3 is demonstrated. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) shows that the new perovskite exhibits a three‐dimensional tetragonal phase. The band gap of the new perovskite is about 1.6 eV, which is desirable for photovoltaic applications. A (1,3‐Pr(NH3)2)0.5PbI3 perovskite solar cell (PSC) yields a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.1 %. More importantly, this perovskite is composed of a large hydrophobic cation that provides better moisture resistance compared to CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite.  相似文献

There have been recent reports on the formation of single‐halide perovskites, CH3NH3PbX3 (X=Cl, Br, I), by means of vapor‐assisted solution processing. Herein, the successful formation of mixed‐halide perovskites (CH3NH3PbI3?xXx) by means of a vapor‐assisted solution method at ambient atmosphere is reported. The perovskite films are synthesized by exposing PbI2 film to CH3NH3X (X=I, Br, or Cl) vapor. The prepared perovskite films have uniform surfaces with good coverage, as confirmed by SEM images. The inclusion of chlorine and bromine into the structure leads to a lower temperature and shorter reaction time for optimum perovskite film formation. In the case of CH3NH3PbI3?xClx, the optimum reaction temperature is reduced to 100 °C, and the resulting phases are CH3NH3PbI3 (with trace Cl) and CH3NH3PbCl3 with a ratio of about 2:1. In the case of CH3NH3PbI3?xBrx, single‐phase CH3NH3PbI2Br is formed in a considerably shorter reaction time than that of CH3NH3PbI3. The mesostructured perovskite solar cells based on CH3NH3PbI3 films show the best optimal power conversion efficiency of 13.5 %, whereas for CH3NH3PbI3?xClx and CH3NH3PbI3?xBrx the best recorded efficiencies are 11.6 and 10.5 %, respectively.  相似文献

The reduced dimension perovskite including 2D perovskites are one of the most promising strategies to stabilize lead halide perovskite. A mixed‐cation 2D perovskite based on a steric phenyltrimethylammonium (PTA) cation is presented. The PTA‐MA mixed‐cation 2D perovskite of PTAMAPbI4 can be formed on the surface of MAPbI3 (PTAI‐MAPbI3) by controllable PTAI intercalation by either spin coating or soaking. The PTAMAPbI4 capping layer can not only passivate PTAI‐MAPbI3 perovskite but also act as MA+ locker to inhibit MAI extraction and significantly enhance the stability. The highly stable PTAI‐MAPbI3 based perovskite solar cells exhibit a reproducible photovoltaic performance with a champion PCE of 21.16 %. Such unencapsulated devices retain 93 % of initial efficiency after 500 h continuous illumination. This steric mixed‐cation 2D perovskite as MA+ locker to stabilize the MAPbI3 is a promising strategy to design stable and high‐performance hybrid lead halide perovskites.  相似文献

Cesium methylammonium lead iodide (CsxMA1−xPbI3) nanocrystals were obtained with a wide range of A-site Cs-MA compositions by post-synthetic, room temperature cation exchange between CsPbI3 nanocrystals and MAPbI3 nanocrystals. The alloyed CsxMA1−xPbI3 nanocrystals retain their photoactive perovskite phase with incorporated Cs content, x, as high as 0.74 and the expected composition-tunable photoluminescence (PL). Excess methylammonium oleate from the reaction mixture in the MAPbI3 nanocrystal dispersions was necessary to obtain fast Cs-MA cation exchange. The phase transformation and degradation kinetics of films of CsxMA1−xPbI3 nanocrystals were measured and modeled using an Avrami expression. The transformation kinetics were significantly slower than those of the parent CsPbI3 and MAPbI3 nanocrystals, with Avrami rate constants, k, at least an order of magnitude smaller. These results affirm that A-site cation alloying is a promising strategy for stabilizing iodide-based perovskites.  相似文献

We synthesized and characterized methylammonium (MA) mixed tri‐halide tin perovskites (MASnIBr2−x Clx) for carbon‐based mesoscopic solar cells free of lead and hole‐transporting layers. Varied SnCl2/SnBr2 ratios yielded tin perovskites with three halides (I, Br, and Cl) co‐crystallized inside the tin‐perovskite. When the SnCl2 proportion was ≥50 % (x ≥1), phase separation occurred to give MASnI3−y Bry and MASnCl3−z Brz in the stoichiometric proportions of their precursors, confirmed by XRD. A device with MASnIBr1.8Cl0.2 (SnCl2=10 %) showed the best photovoltaic performance: J SC=14.0 mA cm−2, V OC=380 mV, FF=0.573, and PCE=3.1 %, and long‐term stability. Electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) show superior charge recombination and dielectric relaxation properties for the MASnIBr1.8Cl0.2 cell. Transient PL decays showed the intrinsic problem of tin‐based perovskites with average lifetimes less than 100 ps.  相似文献

As a result of their attractive optoelectronic properties, metal halide APbI3 perovskites employing formamidinium (FA+) as the A cation are the focus of research. The superior chemical and thermal stability of FA+ cations makes α‐FAPbI3 more suitable for solar‐cell applications than methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3). However, its spontaneous conversion into the yellow non‐perovskite phase (δ‐FAPbI3) under ambient conditions poses a serious challenge for practical applications. Herein, we report on the stabilization of the desired α‐FAPbI3 perovskite phase by protecting it with a two‐dimensional (2D) IBA2FAPb2I7 (IBA=iso‐butylammonium overlayer, formed via stepwise annealing. The α‐FAPbI3/IBA2FAPb2I7 based perovskite solar cell (PSC) reached a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of close to 23 %. In addition, it showed excellent operational stability, retaining around 85 % of its initial efficiency under severe combined heat and light stress, that is, simultaneous exposure with maximum power tracking to full simulated sunlight at 80 °C over 500 h.  相似文献

The performance of La2-xMxCuO4 perovskites (where M = Ce, Ca or Sr) as catalysts for the water-gas shift reaction was investigated at 290 ℃ and 360 ℃. The catalysts were characterized by EDS, XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, XPS and XANES. The XRD results showed that all the perovskites exhibited a single phase (the presence of perovskite structure), suggesting the incorporation of metals in the perovskite structure. The XPS and XANES results showed the presence of Cu2+ on the surface. The perovskites that exhibited the best catalytic performance were La2-xCexCuO4 perovskites, with CO conversions of 85%-90%. Moreover, these perovskites have higher surface areas and larger amounts of Cu on the surface. And Ce has a higher filled energy level than the other metals, increasing the energy of the valence band of Ce and providing more electrons for the reaction. Besides, the La1.80Ca0.20CuO4 perovskite showed a good catalytic performance.  相似文献

Cation ordering in ABO3 perovskites adds to their chemical variety and can lead to properties such as ferrimagnetism and magnetoresistance in Sr2FeMoO6. Through high‐pressure and high‐temperature synthesis, a new type of “double double perovskite” structure has been discovered in the family MnRMnSbO6 (R=La, Pr, Nd, Sm). This tetragonal structure has a 1:1 order of cations on both A and B sites, with A‐site Mn2+ and R3+ cations ordered in columns and Mn2+ and Sb5+ having rock salt order on the B sites. The MnRMnSbO6 double double perovskites are ferrimagnetic at low temperatures with additional spin‐reorientation transitions. The ordering direction of ferrimagnetic Mn spins in MnNdMnSbO6 changes from parallel to [001] below TC=76 K to perpendicular below the reorientation transition at 42 K at which Nd moments also order. Smaller rare earths lead to conventional monoclinic double perovskites (MnR)MnSbO6 for Eu and Gd.  相似文献
