A method for the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of cobalt, nickel and iron based on the formation of their complexes with 1,5-bis(di-2-pyridylmethylene) thiocarbonohydrazide is proposed. The absorption curves of these complexes overlap severely in the scanning range 390–510 nm. The analyte concentrations are calculated by a least squares fit of the pure spectra to the mixture spectra, which therefore makes the simultaneous determination of these metallic ions possible without tedious pretreatment. The detection limits afforded by the proposed method range from 0.05 g/ml for Fe and Ni to 0.1 g/ml for Co. Root-mean-squared errors of prediction of 0.085 g/ml for Co, 0.048 g/ml for Ni and 0.1172 g/ml for Fe were obtained using the wavelength range 400–510 nm and 0.147 g/ml for Co, 0.107 g/ml for Ni and 0.127 g/ml for Fe using the wavelength range 420–434 nm. The effect of interferences is studied and the proposed method is applied to analysis for the above elements in synthetic samples and real samples, such as biological materials and alloys.  相似文献

Summary Aspects of cracking and joining capillaries have been investigated. Capillary coupling was achieved using various methods. The most successful used hydrofluoric acid-etched capillaries to form male and female ends which were then joined together. This type of joint was used to connect sections of capillary of similar and different internal diameters with minimal loss in resolution, peak width and number of theoretical plates. (Uridine and hypoxanthine was used as a test mixture). For hypoxanthine on a 50 m/50 m etched joined capillary 10 cm from the detector window the number of theoretical plates was 96.6% of that for hypoxanthine on an unbroken capillary. Following the relative success of capillary joining, a coupled capillary flowcell (50 m/200 m) was produced and evaluated.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Pentachlorphenol (PCP) wurde im Plasma und Harn mittels Capillar-Gas-Chromatographie und ECD-Detektion erfaßt. Die parallele Analyse mit einem massenselektiven Detektor erbrachte nahezu identische Werte (r=0,9978). Die Nachweisgrenzen lagen bei ca. 5 g PCP/l Harn bzw. ca. 10 g PCP/l Plasma. Die Untersuchung von 27 Personen ohne beruflichen bzw. besonderen usuellen Kontakt mit Pentachlorphenol ergab mediane PCP-Konzentrationen im Plasma von 28 g/l (95.0 Perzentil 149 g/l) bzw. im Harn von 10 g/l (95.0 Perzentil 55 g/l).
Determination of pentachlorophenol in human plasma and urine samples by capillary gas chromatography with ECD- and MS-detection
Summary Pentachlorophenol (PCP) levels in plasma and urine samples were determined by capillary gaschromatography and EC-detection. The results of the parallel analysis of samples with a selective mass detector correlated well (r=0.9978). The detection limits were around 5 g PCP/l urine and around 10 g PCP/l plasma respectively. A study on 27 persons occupationally not exposed to PCP or without a known special ecological intake of PCP showed median PCP levels of 28 g/l plasma (95.0 percentile: 149 g/l plasma) and 10 g/l urine (95.0 percentile: 55 g/l).

The microwave spectrum of 1,3dioxolane (C3H6O2) in the ground and first three excited states of hindered pseudorotation was studied. The transitions corresponding to the b, c, and a components of the dipole moment were identified. The spectrum was analyzed using numerical diagonalization of the effective rotational Hamiltonian for four interacting states of hindered pseudorotation. The rotational constants, centrifugal distortion constants, the constants of interaction between general rotation and hindered pseudorotation, and the distances between the quasidegenerate vibrational levels 01 = 64840.5, 12 = 122231.7 and 23 = 119732.7 MHz are determined. From the Stark effect of microwave transitions, the dipole moment components (in Debye units) in the hinderedpseudorotation states v = 0, 1, 2, and 3 are determined: 0|b|0 = 1|b|1 = 1.22, 2|b|2 = 1.20, 3|b|3 = 1.21, 0|c|1 = 0.77, 2|c3 = 0.66, and 1|a|2 = 0.19.  相似文献

The reaction of the tetranuclear trimethylacetate complex Co4(3-OH)2(-OOCCMe3)4(2-OOCCMe3)2(EtOH)6 with pyridine in acetonitrile was studied. Two new compounds, viz., the hexanuclear cobalt(ii) complex Co6py4(3-OH)2(-OOCCMe3)10 (25% yield) and the unusual ionic compound [Co3py3(3-O)(-OOCCMe3)6]+[Co4py(4-O)(-OOCCMe3)7] (5% yield), were prepared. The structures of the new compounds were established by X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

Summary For the trace determination of sodium alkylbenzenesulphonate (ABS) by HPLC the following conditions were employed: Shimadzu ZORBAX SIL Column (5 m, 4.6 mm i.d. x 150 mm) as stationary phase, 0.2% ammoniaethanol (v/v) as mobile phase, UV detector at 225 nm, injection volume 12 l. The chromatograms of ABS were simple and sharp (detection limit of ABS 0.02 g in 12 l of ethanol). The calibration curves of ABS were linear in a concentration range of 0.03 0.3 g in 12 l of ethanol. In the case of linear sodium dodecylbenzenesulphonate positive errors of 1 4% were caused by non-ionic surfactants or laurylsulphate (6 times excess), 10 50% positive errors were caused by 2 6 times excess of household detergents.Standard water samples containing ABS were treated with a weak base anion-exchange resin, the adsorbed ABS were eluted, and then determined either by HPLC or by the methylene blue spectrophotometric method. Recoveries of ABS in water were about 92 107% by HPLC.

Zusammenfassung Für die Spurenbestimmung von Natriumalkylbenzolsulfonat (ABS) durch HPLC werden die folgenden Bedingungen empfohlen:Shimadzu ZORBAX SIL (5 m, 4,6 mm x 150 mm) als stationäre Phase, 0,2% Ammoniak/Ethanol als mobile Phase, UV-Detektor bei 225 nm, Injektionsvolumen 12 l. Die erhaltenen Chromatogramme sind einfach und scharf (Nachweisgrenze 0,02 g in 12 ml Ethanol). Die Eichkurven sind im Konzentrationsbereich von 0,03–0,3 g in 12 l Ethanol linear. Im Falle des linearen Natriumdodecylbenzolsulfonats werden bei Anwesenheit von nicht-ionischen oberflächenaktiven Substanzen oder von Laurylsulfat in 6fachem Überschuß positiver Fehler von 1–4% erhalten; bei 2–6fachem Überschuß von Haushaltswaschmitteln ergeben sich positive Fehler von 10–50%.Standard-Wasserproben werden zunächst einer Behandlung mit einem Anionenaustauscher unterzogen, die adsorbierten ABS eluiert und durch HPLC oder nach der Methylenblaumethode analysiert. Wiederfindungsraten liegen bei 92–107%.

The effect of cationic surfactants (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, cetylpyridinium bromide, and tetrabutylammonium perchlorate) and a nonionic surfactant (OP-7) on the conditions of the immobilization of 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol (PAR) on three types of silica gel (Silochrom S-120 (200–350 m), Silochrom S-120 (315–500 m), and Silochrom S-80 (200–350 m)) was studied. It was found that OP-7 does not affect the adsorption of surfactants. The effect of cationic surfactants increases in the order tetrabutylammonium perchlorate < cetyltrimethylammonium bromide < cetylpyridinium bromide. The adsorption activity of silica gels increases in the order Silochrom S-120 (315–500 m) < Silochrom S-80 (200–350 m) < Silochrom S-120 (200–350 m). Cetylpyridinium bromide provides full immobilization of PAR on silica gel Silochrom S-120 (200–350 m) in the pH range 2–9.  相似文献

Photon correlation spectroscopy has been used to study theaggregation processes of natural and some modified cyclodextrins (CDs) in diluted aqueoussolutions. -, -, and -CD form large, polydisperse aggregatesin water, although the aggregation capability is different depending on the macrocycle considered. -CD solutions filtered through 0.2~m give a single-modaldistribution of aggregates of 224 nm in size. The monomeric -CD can be isolated by filtering through 0.1 m. -CD displays a bimodaldistribution (monomer + aggregates) with both pore sizes. At the concentrations studied (0.012 M) the contribution in mass of the aggregates with both CDs isnegligible. -CD is much more persistent in its aggregation, even after sievingits solutions through 0.02 m filters, and time dependent. The aggregation displayed byCDs with partial substitution of the OH groups (Methyl--CD and Hydroxypropyl--CD) is much weaker, indicating the implication of the hydrophilic rims ofthe CDs in the process. High temperatures, addition of urea or electrolytes andionisation of the OH groups by raising the pH, prevent the aggregation.  相似文献

Summary The complex [Rh2Cl2(-CO)(-vdpp)2] (1) (vdpp=H2C=C(PPh2)2) was prepared by reaction of [Rh2(CO)4-(-Cl)2] with vdpp. When (1) is allowed to stand overnight under an atmosphere of CO without stirringtrans-[Rh2Cl2(CO)2(-vdpp)2] is formed as a red precipitate in low yields. On rapid addition of CO the tricarbonyl complex [Rh2(CO)2(-CO)(-Cl)(-vdpp)2]-Cl is formed instead. The chemical behaviour of the vdpp-substituted complex (1) is very similar to that of the corresponding dppm-substituted complex [Rh2(Cl2-(-CO)(-dppm)2] (dppm=H2C(PPh2)2). this similarity also extends to the molecular structures of both compounds. A computer-controlled flow injection system was developed for the determination of cadmium in a hydrometallurgical zinc refining process stream. An anion-exchange method in acidic potassium iodide medium was used for the on-line separation of cadmium from the matrix zinc. 1-(4-Nitrophenyl)-3-(4-phenylazophenyl)triazene (Cadion) was used as the chromogenic reagent for the spectrophotometric detection of cadmium. In order to expand the dynamic range of the flow injection - spectrophotometry, a computer-aided time-based variable-volume injection method has been employed for the introduction of the sample into the flow injection system. Samples ranging from 0.56 to 350 l can be delivered by controlling the time period of the sample introduction valve and the flow rate of the carrier solution. The system permits a throughput of 5 samples per hour. The reproducibility has been proven to be satisfactory with a relative standard deviation of less than 6.2% (sample injected: 0.56 l of 850 g Cd/ml; n=100) and 5.0% (350 l of 0.14 g Cd/ml; n=5). The determination limit was 20 g Cd/ml with 0.56 l sample injection and 0.05 g Cd/ml with 350 l sample injection (the absolute amount of cadmium injected into the system was 11 ng and 17.5 ng, respectively).  相似文献

Summary A new analytical method for the determination of -methyl styrene and cumene in one operation is based on the measurement of the absorbance of the sample in the ultraviolet region at 268 and 241 nm. The concentration of both substances is obtained from a calibration diagram. The analysis is carried out in n-heptane solution. Silicagel is applied for sampling of atmosphere. Errors amount to ± 3% in the concentration, ranges 1–10 g/l (-methyl styrene) and 100–500 g/l (cumene), respectively. With lower concentrations the errors increase considerably.

Bei geringeren Konzentrationen nehmen die Fehler erheblich zu.

Summary A procedure is described suitable for determining iron and gallium down to the levels present in 99.999% pure aluminium. Copper, cobalt, manganese, and lanthanum do not interfere. A single determination takes about two hours.The precision of the method is within 0.1g iron at the 2-g iron level and within 0.4g of gallium at the 2-g gallium level per gram of metal.
Zusammenfassung Ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Bisen und Gallium in 99,999%igem Aluminium wird beschrieben. Kupfer, Kobalt, Mangan und Lanthan stören nicht. Eine Einzelbestimmung dauert ungefähr 2 Stunden. Die Genauigkeit des Verfahrens beträgt 0,1g Fe und 0,4g Ga bei Anwesenheit von 2g des betreffenden Elementes pro Gramm Metall.

Résumé On décrit un procédé permettant le dosage du fer et du gallium jusqu'aux teneurs présentes dans l'aluminium pur à 99,999%. Le cuivre, le cobalt, le manganèse et le lanthane n'interfèrent pas. The reaction between Ru3(3-2-PhC2C=CPh)(-dppm)(CO)8 and Co2(CO)8 afforded dark red Co2Ru3(4-C2Ph)(3-C2Ph)(-dppm)(-CO)2(CO)9, shown by an X-ray structure determination to contain a strongly twisted Co2Ru3 bow-tie cluster (central Co), to which two PhC2 units derived from cleavage of the original diyne are attached. One a these is strongly interacting with four metal atoms, the other being attached in the familiar 1,22-mode. The dppm ligand remains bridging two of the Ru atoms.  相似文献

The characteristics of knitted open tube (KOT) figure eight reactors and coil reactors at l/min flow rates were compared using plate height (H) calculations and peak height measurements. Peak broadening independent of flow rate was seen for the figure eight KOT but not the coil at flow rates of 150–300 l/min. Below 150 /min, the plate height values of both reactors were inversely proportional to flow rate. It was concluded that a 0.5-m KOT figure eight reactor is the most effective way to introduce delay time for a 1 1 injection size and tubing of 0.3 mm I.D. Enhancement of peak height response was particularly pronounced at flow rates less than 100 l/min.  相似文献

The errors in the activation energies of solid-state reactions determined with the Piloyan method are more larger than those previously assumed in the literature. On the other hand, the errors in the kinetic parameters are strongly dependent on the kinetic law obeyed by the reaction. A theoretical explanation of this behaviour is given.
Zusammenfassung Die Fehler der nach der Piloyan-Methode bestimmten Aktivierungsenergien von Festkörperreaktionen sind grö\er als bisher in der Literatur angenommen und stark abhÄngig von der Reaktionsordnung. Eine theoretische ErklÄrung dieses Verhaltens wird gegeben.

Summary Solochrome Black 6 BN in an acetate buffered medium containing methanol reacts with U(IV) to give a blue complex which permits photometric determination with 5g U/ml to 100g U/ml.In the presence of zinc acetate, uranyl ion also may be spectrophotometrically determined by means of the same dye. From 2g U/ml to 40g U/ml may be determined with a relative error of less than ± 0.05.
Zusammenfassung Es werden zwei Methoden zur spektrophotometrischen Bestimmung von Uran mittels Solochromschwarz 6 BN beschrieben. Dieser Farbstoff bildet mit U(IV) in acetatgepuffertem, methanolhältigem Medium einen blaugefärbten Komplex, der die Bestimmung von 5 bis 100g U/ml erlaubt.Mit demselben Farbstoff lassen sich auch 2 bis 40g U/ml in Lösungen von Uranylchlorid bestimmen.

Résumé Le noir solochrome 6 BN en milieu tampon acétique contenant du méthanol réagit avec U-IV en donnant un complexe bleu qui permet le dosage photométrique de 5 g U/ml à 100 g U/ml.En présence d'acétate de zinc, on peut aussi doser l'ion uranyle par spectrophotométrie avec le même colorant. On peut doser de 2 g U/ml à 40 g U/ml avec une erreur relative inférieure à ± 0,05.

Sb doped sol-gel SnO2 single layers (thickness 100 nm) were prepared from alcoholic solution and deposited via a dip coating process on fused silica substrates. The coatings have been sintered at a typical rate of 10–15 cm2/s by CO2 laser irradiation. The laser spot was scanned in one direction at a speed of 15,000 cm/s and the sample was moved in a perpendicular one at a speed up to 250 mm/s. The temperature of the topmost 10 m layer was monitored by a fast pyrometer (s resolution). The following properties of the coatings have been determined: the electrical resistivity , the carrier density n, and mobility , the structure, the thickness, the mesoscopic and micromorphology and the density. The sintering by CO2 laser radiation is mainly a thermal driven process. At T 500°C it allows to obtain coatings with a smaller resistivity (6.8×10–3 cm) than those produced by conventional furnace firing (el2.9×10–2 cm). The results are discussed in terms of particle size and packing density.  相似文献

Summary A simple and fast determination of trace amounts of commercially used cationic surfactants is described. After extraction from water cationic surfactants are separated by HPLC and detected by conductometry. The detection limit is 3 g/l for distearyldimethylammonium chloride, 16 g/l for ditallowimidazolinium methosulphate, and 6 g/l for dodecylpyridinium chloride.  相似文献
