We investigate a periodic slit-groove metal array with converging and diverging shaped channels by using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. We show that the peaks and dips of the transmission spectra can be tuned by the geometry parameters of the groove. And the resonance modes are strongly correlated with the groove depth and width of both ends of the groove, and the transmission dip between the resonance modes can be modulated by these parameters. However, the distance between the slit and the groove has little influence on the transmission. We show that the periodic slit-groove with diverging and converging shaped channels is useful for the design of plasmonic devices. 相似文献

A Gaussian-shaped and double-side unsymmetrical groove structure is presented. Rigorous calculation of the optical properties of the structure is performed on the basis of a multiple multipole program. We analyse the effect of the grating period, the groove width and the film thickness on transmission and reflectance. Simulation results demonstrate that surface-plasmon-polariton resonance positions depend strongly on the structure period and can be changed slightly by the variation of incomplete perforation thickness, while the resonance peak values can be controlled by tuning the groove width. Our results not only give an insight into the physical mechanisms of the double-side unsymmetrical gratings, but also open a way to design novel nano-photonic devices. 相似文献

表面形貌是影响二次电子发射特性的重要因素, 但目前仍缺乏刻画这一影响规律的解析模型. 本文通过分析发现表面结构的遮挡作用是影响二次电子发射特性的主要因素. 基于二次电子以余弦角分布出射的规律, 提出了建立表面形貌参数与二次电子产额之间定量关系的方法, 并以矩形槽和三角槽为例, 建立了电子正入射和斜入射时的一代二次电子产额的解析模型. 将推导的解析模型与Monte Carlo模拟结果和实验结果进行了比较, 结果表明本文建立的模型能够正确反映规则表面形貌的二次电子产额. 本文的模型对于反映常用规则结构影响二次电子出射的规律以及指导通过表面结构调控二次电子发射特性都具有参考价值. 相似文献

We demonstrate optimized viewing-angle characteristics from top-emitting organic light-emitting devices by integrating a periodic microstructure into the cavity. A holographic lithography technique combined with filling process of the groove by spin coating of a polymer film has been employed to enable its periodically and gradually changed cavity length and suppress the viewing-angle dependence of the peak emission wavelength and intensity. The theoretical and experimental results support that the proposed microstructured cavity can resolve the angular-dependence effect in a very simple and effective way, and a desired omnidirectional emission has been obtained. 相似文献

(0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°) are simulated to investigate the effect of groove geometry on the fabrication process. The results
show that the Normal force, Lateral force, and Resultant forces are almost symmetric with respect to the critical folder angle

This review describes the analytical techniques used to detect DNA-probes such as Ru(II) complexes with hetero cyclic imidazo phenanthroline (IP) ligands. Studies on drug-DNA interactions are useful biochemical techniques for visualization of DNA both in vitro and in vivo. The interactions of small molecules that binds to DNA are mainly classified into two major classes, one involving covalent binding and another non-covalent binding. Covalent binding in DNA can be irreversible and may leads to inhibition of all DNA processes which subsequently leads to cell death. Usually, covalent interactions leads to permanent changes in the structure of nucleic acids. The non-covalent interaction of molecules with DNA can be due to electrostatic interaction, intercalation and groove binding. These interactions of DNA probes can be explored by various spectroscopic techniques viz. UV–visible, emission, emission quenching spectroscopy, viscosity and thermal denaturation measurements. 相似文献

A compact supe uorescent source based on an Yb-doped double-cladding fiber amplifier is described. The packaged amplifier is pumped at 975 nm by side-coupling emission from a 2.0-W broad-stripe laser diode through an imbedded V groove. The microstructures and field emission characteristics of hydrogenated amorphous carbon films prepared by using different hydrogen dilution ratio were investigated. It was found that a very low threshold electric field emission could be achieved for samples with moderated hydrogen dilution ratio. However, the field emission characteristics became worse for samples with high hydrogen dilution ratio. The change of field emission can be attributed to the change of electronic structures due to the hydrogen dilution in addition to the increase of the hydrogen surface termination. 相似文献

Berberine(BER) binds to the double helical DNA with a high affinity There is only a much smaller hypochromism and no shifts in the absorption spectra when BER binds to calf thymus DNA(CT DNA) The fluorescence yields increase dramatically when BER binds to DNA, with no shifts in the emission maximum. These spectral changes are in contrast to the behavior observed with many fluorescent intercalates Groove binding rather than intercalation was suggested to be the cause of these spectral changes. Consistent with groove binding, for polyamide anion quenching studies showed that the magnitude of Ksv of the bound BER was higher than that of the free BER. The addition of salt to the solution releases the DNA-bound drug action from the groove and causes a decrease in the fluorescence yield. The results of all above studies proved the groove binding of BER to DNA. Thermal emission is often presented as a typical incoherent process. Incorporating periodic structures on the tungsten surface offers the possibility to obtain coherent thermal emission sources. Here we illustrate grating as an example to examine the influence of the geometric parameters on the thermal emission properties. It is found that for very shallow gratings, only surface plasmon polariton(SPP) modes can be excited and the emission efficiency is closely related with the filling factor. When the ratio of the depth to period of the grating is in the range from 1/20 to 1/2, the field between the adjacent corners can be coupled to each other across the air gap for the filling factor larger than 0.5 and produce a similar resonance as in an air rod. Further increase of the grating depth can cause the groove of the grating forming metal–insulator–metal(MIM) structures and induce surface plasmon standing wave modes. Our investigations will not only be helpful for manipulating thermal emission properties according to applications, but also help us understand the coupling mechanism between the incident electromagnetism waves and gratings with different parameters in various research fields. 相似文献

基于石墨烯二维材料的诸多应用需要将其大面积、高质量地转移到目标基底上,迫切需要了解石墨烯在剥离和转移过程中与基底之间的相互作用特性.本文采用经典分子动力学方法探索了铜基底表面凹槽的几何特征尺寸对石墨烯吸附和剥离过程中凹槽基底对石墨烯吸附作用的影响机理和规律.结果表明:对于固定边界条件下的单层石墨烯,当基底表面的凹槽宽度固定不变时,吸附过程中基底对石墨烯的吸附力随二者间距的减小,呈现先增大后减小的趋势;其最大吸附力随凹槽深度的增加而增大,而当凹槽深度继续增大至石墨烯未能吸附进入凹槽底部的临界值时,吸附力迅速减小;剥离过程中,石墨烯完全剥离的临界作用力随凹槽深度的增加同样呈现先增大后减小的趋势,且与剥离前石墨烯与凹槽基底的相互作用面积有关;当基底表面凹槽的深度固定不变时,吸附和剥离过程中石墨烯-基底之间的吸附力随间距的变化规律取决于石墨烯在基底凹槽处的稳态吸附构型. 相似文献

利用光刻胶的非线性效应可以制作出了矩形的全息光栅。制作矩形光栅时,对槽形的控制被简化为对槽深和占宽比这两个参量的控制。首先借助实时潜像监测技术获得最佳曝光量,然后根据显影监测曲线的特征找出光栅槽底的残胶厚度为零的显影时刻,就能得到槽底干净的矩形光栅,同时保证槽深近似等于光刻胶的初始厚度;如果此后继续显影,就能适度减小占宽比。实验结果和理论分析都证实了这种控制方法的可靠性。对1200lp/mm的光栅,目前工艺能精确调控的最大槽深为1μm,占宽比在0.2~0.6范围内。实验还揭示,为了提高对光栅槽形的调控能力,必须首先提高干涉条纹的稳定性。 相似文献

We report photoluminescence (PL) and reflectivity measurements of Zn0.5Cd0.5Se epilayers grown by molecular beam epitaxy on InP substrates. The low-temperature PL spectra are dominated by asymmetric lines, which can be deconvoluted into two Gaussian peaks with a separation of ∼8 meV. The behavior of these peaks is studied as a function of excitation intensity and temperature, revealing that these are free exciton (FE) and bound exciton emission lines. Two lower energy emission lines are also observed and assigned to the first and second longitudinal optical phonon replicas of the FE emission. The temperature dependence of the intensity, line width, and energy of the dominant emission lines are described by an Arrhenius plot, a Bose-Einstein type relationship, Varshni's and Bose-Einstein equations, respectively. 相似文献
