Titanate nanotubes (TNTs) were prepared from TiO2 P25 via hydrothermal method. The reaction temperature was 130 or 140 °C and the reaction time was 24 or 48 h. The samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry and N2 adsorption as well as Raman, FTIR-DRS and UV-vis/DR spectroscopy. The obtained samples exhibited similar properties, regardless of the preparation temperature and time. The most notable difference between properties of TNTs prepared under different conditions was observed in case of BET surface area, which was increasing from 386 to 478 m2/g along with increasing the reaction time and temperature. Based on TEM, XRD and TG measurements we have suggested that the structure of TNTs was H2Ti2O4(OH)2. The TEM and Raman spectroscopy measurements showed that the obtained products contained also low amount of anatase phase. The TNTs exhibited no photoactivity towards degradation of model azo dye Acid Red 18. However, TNTs were successfully applied for photocatalytic generation of CH4 and H2 in a solution of acetic acid. The amount of methane produced with application of TNTs synthesized at 140 °C was about 2.5 times higher than that generated with use of TiO2 P25. To the best of our knowledge this is a first report on the photocatalytic generation of hydrocarbons using TNTs in the current state of the art.  相似文献

To reduce the high irreversible capacity of the low crystalline carbon fiber for the anode material of lithium-ion battery, pyrolytic carbon (pyrocarbon) was coated at 950 °C from C3H8(30%)-H2 gas system using pressure-pulsed chemical vapor infiltration. Carbon fiber was coated with the dense pyrocarbon film having the laminar texture and the low surface area of 1.9 m2 g−1. It was revealed from XRD and Raman spectroscopy that the crystallinity of pyrocarbon is higher than that of the core carbon. Electrochemical properties were measured in ethylene carbonate (EC) and propylene carbonate (PC) base electrolytes. Irreversible capacity was reduced in EC-based electrolyte by coating with 8 mass% pyrocarbon, which would be attributed to the high crystallinity, laminar structure and low surface area of pyrocarbon. Irreversible capacity was also decreased in PC-based electrolyte. The crystallinity of pyrocarbon was not so high as PC-based electrolyte was decomposed in the case of the high crystalline graphite.  相似文献

Carbon ions at 40 keV were implanted into (1 0 0) high-purity p-type silicon wafers at 400 °C to a fluence of 6.5 × 1017 ions/cm2. Subsequent thermal annealing of the implanted samples was performed in a diffusion furnace at atmospheric pressure with inert nitrogen ambient at 1100 °C. Time-of-flight energy elastic recoil detection analysis (ToF-E ERDA) was used to investigate depth distributions of the implanted ions. Infrared transmittance (IR) and Raman scattering measurements were used to characterize the formation of SiC in the implanted Si substrate. X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) was used to characterize the crystalline quality in the surface layer of the sample. The formation of 3C-SiC and its crystalline structure obtained from the above mentioned techniques was finally confirmed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that 3C-SiC is directly formed during implantation, and that the subsequent high-temperature annealing enhances the quality of the poly-crystalline SiC.  相似文献

Diamond-like carbon films were deposited by electrolysis of a water-ethanol solution on Cu at low voltages (60-100 V) at 2 mm interelectrode separation. The films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. The films were found to be continuous and compact with uniform grain distribution. Raman spectroscopy analysis revealed two broad bands at ∼1350 and ∼1580 cm−1. The downshift of the G band of graphite is indicative of the presence of DLC. For XRD analysis, the three strong peaks located at 2θ values of 43.2°, 74.06° and 89.9° can be identified with reflections form (1 1 1), (2 2 0) and (3 1 1) plane of diamond.  相似文献

Double perovskite Sr2FeMoO6 powders with small crystallite size have been synthesised with citrate-gel method. The starting solution pH was varied between 1.5 and 9.0 resulting in large differences in the phase composition and ordering of B/B sites. The samples prepared at 975 °C had crystallite sizes under 40 nm whereas crystallite sizes of the samples prepared at 1050 °C were between 78 and 239 nm. The XRD patterns were refined with spacegroup I 4/m, which gave good results for both batches, although clearly better results were obtained with monoclinic P 21/n spacegroup for the 975 °C batch. The ordering and the saturation magnetization agreed well with each other after treatment at 1050 °C, but the samples prepared at 975 °C had a strongly reduced saturation magnetization from that given by the ordering.  相似文献

The Ce6−xYxMoO15−δ solid solution with fluorite-related structure have been characterized by differential thermal analysis/thermogravimetry (DTA/TG), X-ray diffraction (XRD), IR, Raman, scanning electric microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) methods. The electric conductivity of samples is investigated by Ac impedance spectroscopy. An essentially pure oxide-ion conductivity of the oxygen-deficiency was observed in pure argon, oxygen and air. The highest oxygen-ion conductivity was found in Ce5.5Y0.5MoO15−δ ranging from 5.9×10−5 (S cm−1) at 300 °C to 1.3×10−2 (S cm−1) at 650 °C, respectively. The oxide-ion conductivities remained stable over 80 h-long test at 800 °C. These properties suggested that significant oxide-ionic conductivity exists in these materials at moderately elevated temperatures.  相似文献

Structural modification of sodium aluminophosphate (NAP) glasses with TiO2 addition has been investigated using Raman and MAS-NMR (31P and 27Al) spectroscopy. TiO2 incorporated NAP glasses having composition (mol%): 40Na2O-10Al2O3-xTiO2-(50−x)P2O5 (x=0-20), are prepared by conventional melt quench method. The low-frequency Raman spectrum suggests an increase in the average ionic character of phosphate glass network with addition of TiO2. Raman and 31P MAS-NMR revealed that the glasses without TiO2, consist mainly metaphosphate (Q2) structural units. These are gradually converted into pyrophosphate (Q1) and orthophosphate (Q0) structural units along with the formation of P-O-Ti/P-O-Al linkages. 27Al MAS-NMR revealed the change in coordination of Al from octahedral (AlO6) to tetrahedral (AlO4) for TiO2 above 10 mol%. Raman spectra indicate that TiO2 enters the network in the form of octahedral (TiO6) and tetrahedral (TiO4) structural units and at high concentration of TiO2, tetrahedral structural units are more favourable. Various thermo-physical properties e.g. density (ρ), molar volume (Vm), glass transition temperature (Tg), microhardness (MH), and thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) have been measured as a function of TiO2 content. Variations in the thermo-physical properties are correlated with these structural modifications in the phosphate structural units and consequently changes in the average ionic character of phosphate glass network.  相似文献

Microwave-assisted synthesis is a novel method used to synthesize CdMoO4 nanoparticles in propylene glycol. The effects of reaction time and microwave power on phase, morphologies, and optical properties of CdMoO4 nanoparticles were studied, using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and UV-visible spectroscopy. The present analyses proved that these crystalline powders were scheelite-type tetragonal structured CdMoO4, with the crystallite size of 14-20 nm, and 4.51-4.73 eV band gaps, controlled by the synthetic conditions.  相似文献

Mn-doped ZnO thin films with different percentage of Mn content (0, 1, 3 and 5 at.%) and substrate temperature of 350 °C, were deposited by a simple ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method under atmospheric pressure. We have studied the structural and optical properties by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and ultra-violet visible near infrared (UV–Vis-NIR) spectroscopy. The lattice parameters calculated for the Mn-doped ZnO from XRD pattern were found to be slightly larger than those of the undoped ZnO, which indicate substitution of Mn in ZnO lattice. Compared with the Raman spectra for ZnO pure films, the Mn-doping effect on the spectra is revealed by the presence of additional peak around 524 cm−1 due to Mn incorporation. With increasing Mn doping the optical band gap increases indicating the Burstein–Moss effect.  相似文献

Raman spectroscopy was used to study the evolution of host lattice recrystallization in high-fluence N+-implanted GaAs. A high-fluence of N+ ions (>1015 cm−2) was introduced into semi-insulating GaAs by the combinatorial implantation method. Subsequent thermal annealing at 800 °C was carried out to re-grow the implantation-induced amorphous layers. The dependence of Raman parameters on N contents was systematically observed for each recrystallized cell. The volume of the newly formed crystallites with original orientation decreases with increasing fluences, whereas that of crystallites of other orientations increases after high-fluence implantation and annealing. The correlation length L, representing the size of crystalline regions with preserved translational symmetry, was determined by fitting the LO phonon signal with spatial correlation model. For 1016 cm−2 implantation, the recrystallized layer consists of nano-meter-sized crystallites (∼30 nm). The dimension of the recrystallized crystallites decreases with increasing N+ fluences, in good agreement with the model.  相似文献

Silicon carbide (SiC) films were synthesized by combined metal vapor vacuum arc (MEVVA) ion implantation with ion beam assisted deposition (IBAD) techniques. Carbon ions with 40 keV energy were implanted into Si(1 0 0) substrates at ion fluence of 5 × 1016 ions/cm2. Then silicon and carbon atoms were co-sputtered on the Si(1 0 0) substrate surface, at the same time the samples underwent assistant Ar-ion irradiation at 20 keV energy. A group of samples with substrate temperatures ranging from 400 to 600 °C were used to analyze the effect of temperature on formation of the SiC film. Influence of the assistant Ar-ion irradiation was also investigated. The structure, morphology and mechanical properties of the deposited films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and nanoindentation, respectively. The bond configurations were obtained from IR absorption and Raman spectroscopy. The experimental results indicate that microcrystalline SiC films were synthesized at 600 °C. The substrate temperature and assistant Ar-ion irradiation played a key role in the process. The assistant Ar-ion irradiation also helps increasing the nanohardness and bulk modulus of the SiC films. The best values of nanohardness and bulk modulus were 24.1 and 282.6 GPa, respectively.  相似文献

The annealing effects of crystalline silicon (Si) implanted with argon (Ar) ions at a dose of 2 × 1016 Ar+/cm2 at room temperature and subsequently annealed at 400-1100 °C for 30 min were investigated. The samples were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Before and after annealing up to 600 °C, an amorphous layer is formed but Ar bubbles are not observed in the damage layer. After annealing at 800 °C, argon bubbles are observed together with extended defects. The damage layer evolves into a polycrystalline structure. After annealing at 1100 °C; exfoliation occurs on the sample surface, and microtwin lamellas form in the damage layer. Raman scattering revealed that a strong recrystallization occurs from 600 °C to 800 °C. The results were compared with the case of helium implantation, with particular focus on bubble formation mechanisms.  相似文献

In this paler, we present a technique of forming nanofilms of poly-3-aminophenylboronic acid (pAPBA) on the surfaces of polystyrene (PS) microbeads for proteins (papain and trypsin) in aqueous. Papain was chosen as a model to study the feasibility of the technique and trypsin as an extension. Obtained core-shell microbeads were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and BET methods. The results show that pAPBA formed nanofilms (60-100 nm in thickness) on the surfaces of PS microbeads. The specific surface area of the papain-imprinted beads was about 180 m2 g−1 and its pore size was 31 nm. These imprinted microbeads exhibit high recognition specificity and fast mass transfer kinetics. The specificity of these imprinted beads mainly originates from the spatial effect of imprinted sites. Because the protein-imprinted sites were located at, or close to, the surface, the imprinted beads have good site accessibility toward the template molecules. The facility of the imprinting protocol and the high recognition properties of imprinted microbeads make the approach an attractive solution to problems in the field of biotechnology.  相似文献

In the present work, ZnO was deposited on porous silicon substrates by sol-gel spin coating and rf magnetron sputtering. The porous silicon (PS) substrates were formed by electrochemical anodization on p-type (1 0 0) silicon wafer, and the starting material for ZnO was Zinc acetate dehydrate. Raman spectroscopy revealed the good quality of the porous silicon substrate. XRD analysis showed that highly (0 0 2) oriented ZnO thin films were formed. SEM, AFM and optical microscope have been used to understand the effects of the substrate on crystalline properties of the samples. The results indicated that the porous silicon substrate is beneficial to improve the crystalline quality in lattice mismatch heteroepitaxy due to its sponge-like structure.  相似文献

Morphological, structural, electronic, and adsorption characteristics of complex oxides such as fumed silica/alumina and silica/titania, fumed silica with deposited oxides of Mg, Ti, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn and Zr, silica gel with grafted ZrO2, sol-gel titania doped by 3d-metals (Cr, Fe, Mn, V) were compared using adsorption, TEM, AFM, XRD, XPS, Mössbauer and Raman spectroscopy data. It was shown that surface, volume, and phase compositions of oxides, particle size distributions (5 nm-3 μm), specific surface area (SBET ∼ 50-500 m2/g), and porosity (VP ∼ 0.1-2 cm3/g) affected by synthesis technique and subsequent treatment determine electronic structure (bandgap, valence band and core levels structure) of the materials, adsorption of molecules and metal ions as well as other characteristics.  相似文献

In this work, formation of gold nanoparticles in radio frequency (RF) reactive magnetron co-sputtered Au-SiO2 thin films post annealed at different temperatures in Ar + H2 atmosphere has been investigated. Optical, surface topography, chemical state and crystalline properties of the prepared films were analyzed by using UV-visible spectrophotometry, atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray diffractometry (XRD) techniques, respectively. Optical absorption spectrum of the Au-SiO2 thin films annealed at 800 °C showed one surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption peak located at 520 nm relating to gold nanoparticles. According to XPS analysis, it was found that the gold nanoparticles had a tendency to accumulate on surface of the heat-treated films in the metallic state. AFM images showed that the nanoparticles were uniformly distributed on the film surface with grain size of about 30 nm. Using XRD analysis average crystalline size of the Au particles was estimated to about 20 nm.  相似文献

In the present paper, we investigate the effect of thermal annealing on optical and microstructural properties of HfO2 thin films (from 20 to 190 nm) obtained by plasma ion assisted deposition (PIAD). After deposition, the HfO2 films were annealed in N2 ambient for 3 h at 300, 350, 450, 500 and 750 °C. Several characterisation techniques including X-ray reflectometry (XRR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE), UV Raman and FTIR were used for the physical characterisation of the as-deposited and annealed HfO2 thin films. The results indicate that as-deposited PIAD HfO2 films are mainly amorphous and a transition to a crystalline phase occurs at a temperature higher than 450 °C depending on the layer thickness. The crystalline grains consist of cubic and monoclinic phases already classified in literature but this work provides the first evidence of amorphous-cubic phase transition at a temperature as low as 500 °C. According to SE, XRR and FTIR results, an increase in the interfacial layer thickness can be observed only for high temperature annealing. The SE results show that the amorphous phase of HfO2 (in 20 nm thick samples) has an optical bandgap of 5.51 eV. Following its transition to a crystalline phase upon annealing at 750 °C, the optical bandgap increases to 5.85 eV.  相似文献

Single crystalline ZnO films were grown on c-plane GaN/sapphire (0 0 0 1) substrates by molecular beam epitaxy. Cr+ ions were implanted into the ZnO films with three different doses, i.e., 1 × 1014, 5 × 1015, and 3 × 1016 cm−2. The implantation energy was 150 keV. Thermal treatment was carried out at 800 °C for 30 s in a rapid thermal annealing oven in flowing nitrogen. X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy, Raman measurements, transmission electron microscopy and superconducting quantum interference device were used to characterize the ZnO films. The results showed that thermal annealing relaxed the stress in the Cr+ ions implanted samples and the implantation-induced damage was partly recovered by means of the proper annealing treatment. Transmission electron microscopy measurements indicated that the first five monolayers of ZnO rotated an angle off the [0 0 0 1]-axis of the GaN in the interfacial layer. The magnetic-field dependence of magnetization of annealed ZnO:Cr showed ferromagnetic behavior at room temperature.  相似文献

We have prepared SrTiO3/BaTiO3 thin films with multilayered structures deposited on indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass by a sol-gel deposition and heating at 300-650 °C. The optical properties were obtained by UV-vis spectroscopy. The films show a high transmittance (approximately 85%) in the visible region. The optical band gap of the films is tunable in the 3.64-4.19 eV range by varying the annealing temperature. An abrupt decrease towards the bulk band gap value is observed at annealing temperatures above 600 °C. The multilayered film annealed at 650 ° C exhibited the maximum refractive index of 2.09-1.91 in the 450-750 nm wavelength range. The XRD and AFM results indicate that the films annealed above 600 ° C are substantially more crystalline than the films prepared at lower temperatures which were used to change their optical band gap and complex refractive index to an extent that depended on the annealing temperature.  相似文献
