The present work is based on a parametric reconstruction of the deceleration parameter q(z) in a model for the spatially flat FRW universe filled with dark energy and non-relativistic matter. In cosmology, the parametric reconstruction technique deals with an attempt to build up a model by choosing some specific evolution scenario for a cosmological parameter and then estimate the values of the parameters with the help of different observational datasets. In this paper, we have proposed a logarithmic parametrization of q(z) to probe the evolution history of the universe. Using the type Ia supernova, baryon acoustic oscillation and the cosmic microwave background datasets, the constraints on the arbitrary model parameters \(q_{0}\) and \(q_{1}\) are obtained (within \(1\sigma \) and \(2\sigma \) confidence limits) by \(\chi ^{2}\)-minimization technique. We have then reconstructed the deceleration parameter, the total EoS parameter \(\omega _\mathrm{tot}\), the jerk parameter and have compared the reconstructed results of q(z) with other well-known parametrizations of q(z). We have also shown that two model selection criteria (namely, the Akaike information criterion and Bayesian information criterion) provide a clear indication that our reconstructed model is well consistent with other popular models.  相似文献

We consider bond percolation on \({\mathbb {Z}}^d\times {\mathbb {Z}}^s\) where edges of \({\mathbb {Z}}^d\) are open with probability \(p<p_c({\mathbb {Z}}^d)\) and edges of \({\mathbb {Z}}^s\) are open with probability q, independently of all others. We obtain bounds for the critical curve in (pq), with p close to the critical threshold \(p_c({\mathbb {Z}}^d)\). The results are related to the so-called dimensional crossover from \({\mathbb {Z}}^d\) to \({\mathbb {Z}}^{d+s}\).  相似文献

Contrary to the reaction \( \bar{{p}}\) p \( \rightarrow\) e + e - with a high-momentum incident antiproton on a free target proton at rest, in which the invariant mass M of the e + e - pair is necessarily much larger than the \( \bar{{p}}\) p mass 2m , in the reaction \( \bar{{p}}\) d \( \rightarrow\) e + e - n the value of M can take values near or below the \( \bar{{p}}\) p mass. In the antiproton-deuteron electromagnetic annihilation, this allows to access the proton electromagnetic form factors in the timelike region of q2 near the \( \bar{{p}}\) p threshold. We estimate the cross-section \(d\sigma _{\bar pd \to e^ + e^ - n} /d\mathcal{M}\) for an antiproton beam momentum of 1.5GeV/c. We find that near the \( \bar{{p}}\) p threshold this cross-section is about 1pb/MeV. The case of heavy-nuclei target is also discussed. Elements of experimental feasibility are presented for the process \( \bar{{p}}\) d \( \rightarrow\) e + e - n in the context of the \( \overline{{{\rm P}}}\) ANDA project.  相似文献

In this work, we study systematically the mass splittings of the \(qq\bar{Q}\bar{Q}\) (\(q=u\), d, s and \(Q=c\), b) tetraquark states with the color-magnetic interaction by considering color mixing effects and estimate roughly their masses. We find that the color mixing effect is relatively important for the \(J^P=0^+\) states and possible stable tetraquarks exist in the \(nn\bar{Q}\bar{Q}\) (\(n=u\), d) and \(ns\bar{Q}\bar{Q}\) systems either with \(J=0\) or with \(J=1\). Possible decay patterns of the tetraquarks are briefly discussed.  相似文献

Using a 1 / n expansion, that is an expansion in descending powers of n, for the number of matchings in regular graphs with 2n vertices, we study the monomer-dimer entropy for two classes of graphs. We study the difference between the extensive monomer-dimer entropy of a random r-regular graph G (bipartite or not) with 2n vertices and the average extensive entropy of r-regular graphs with 2n vertices, in the limit \(n \rightarrow \infty \). We find a series expansion for it in the numbers of cycles; with probability 1 it converges for dimer density \(p < 1\) and, for G bipartite, it diverges as \(|\mathrm{ln}(1-p)|\) for \(p \rightarrow 1\). In the case of regular lattices, we similarly expand the difference between the specific monomer-dimer entropy on a lattice and the one on the Bethe lattice; we write down its Taylor expansion in powers of p through the order 10, expressed in terms of the number of totally reducible walks which are not tree-like. We prove through order 6 that its expansion coefficients in powers of p are non-negative.  相似文献

Recently, we studied Padé interpolation problems of q-grid, related to q-Painlevé equations of type \(E_7^{(1)}\), \(E_6^{(1)}\), \(D_5^{(1)}\), \(A_4^{(1)}\) and \((A_2+A_1)^{(1)}\). By solving those problems, we could derive evolution equations, scalar Lax pairs and determinant formulae of special solutions for the corresponding q-Painlevé equations. It is natural that the q-Painlevé equations were derived by the interpolation method of q-grid, but it may be interesting in terms of differential grid that the Padé interpolation method of differential grid (i.e. Padé approximation method) has been applied to the q-Painlevé equation of type \(D_5^{(1)}\) by Ikawa. In this paper, we continue the above study and apply the Padé approximation method to the q-Painlevé equations of type \(E_6^{(1)}\), \(D_5^{(1)}\), \(A_4^{(1)}\) and \((A_2+A_1)^{(1)}\). Moreover, determinant formulae of the special solutions for q-Painlevé equation of type \(E_6^{(1)}\) are given in terms of the terminating q-Appell Lauricella function.  相似文献

We provide strong experimental evidence for the existence of a nonstrange exotic dibaryon with a mass of about 1956 MeV called \(d^{\ast }_{1}\)(1956). This dibaryon is expected to be stable against strong decay and decays predominantly into two nucleons (NN) via the isospin-conserving radiative process \(d^{\ast }_{1} \to NN \gamma \). First, we present the experimental evidence for the \(d^{\ast }_{1}\)(1956) found in the energy spectrum of the coincident photons emitted at ±900 from the reaction p pp p γ γ at 216 MeV. Then we give an explanation why the WASA/CELSIUS Collaboration did not find signatures of this dibaryon in its proton-proton bremsstrahlung data measured at 310 and 200 MeV. We also present signatures of this dibaryon found in experimental invariant mass spectra of photon pairs from the p pp p γ γ reaction measured by this collaboration at 1360 and 1200 MeV. These signatures provide very substantial confirmation of the existence of the \(d^{\ast }_{1}\)(1956).  相似文献

We investigate the horizon structure and ergosphere in a rotating Bardeen regular black hole, which has an additional parameter (g) due to the magnetic charge, apart from the mass (M) and the rotation parameter (a). Interestingly, for each value of the parameter g, there exists a critical rotation parameter (\(a=a_{E}\)), which corresponds to an extremal black hole with degenerate horizons, while for \(a<a_{E}\) it describes a non-extremal black hole with two horizons, and no black hole for \(a>a_{E}\). We find that the extremal value \(a_E\) is also influenced by the parameter g, and so is the ergosphere. While the value of \(a_E\) remarkably decreases when compared with the Kerr black hole, the ergosphere becomes thicker with the increase in g. We also study the collision of two equal mass particles near the horizon of this black hole, and explicitly show the effect of the parameter g. The center-of-mass energy (\(E_\mathrm{CM}\)) not only depend on the rotation parameter a, but also on the parameter g. It is demonstrated that the \(E_\mathrm{CM}\) could be arbitrarily high in the extremal cases when one of the colliding particles has a critical angular momentum, thereby suggesting that the rotating Bardeen regular black hole can act as a particle accelerator.  相似文献

Treating the light-flavor constituent quarks and antiquarks whose momentum information is extracted from the data of soft light-flavor hadrons in pp collisions at \(\sqrt{s}=7\) TeV as the underlying source of chromatically neutralizing the charm quarks of low transverse momenta (\(p_{T}\)), we show that the experimental data of \(p_{T}\) spectra of single-charm hadrons \(D^{0,+}\), \(D^{*+}\) \(D_{s}^{+}\), \(\varLambda _{c}^{+}\) and \(\varXi _{c}^{0}\) at mid-rapidity in the low \(p_{T}\) range (\(2\lesssim p_{T}\lesssim 7\) GeV/c) in pp collisions at \(\sqrt{s}=7\) TeV can be well understood by the equal-velocity combination of perturbatively created charm quarks and those light-flavor constituent quarks and antiquarks. This suggests a possible new scenario of low \(p_{T}\) charm quark hadronization, in contrast to the traditional fragmentation mechanism, in pp collisions at LHC energies. This is also another support for the exhibition of the soft constituent quark degrees of freedom for the small parton system created in pp collisions at LHC energies.  相似文献

If \(\mathcal{F}\) is a set of subgraphs F of a finite graph E we define a graph-counting polynomial \(p_\mathcal{F}(z)=\sum _{F\in \mathcal{F}}z^{|F|}\) In the present note we consider oriented graphs and discuss some cases where \(\mathcal{F}\) consists of unbranched subgraphs E. We find several situations where something can be said about the location of the zeros of \(p_\mathcal{F}\).  相似文献

Following Flory’s ideality hypothesis, the chemical potential of a test chain of length n immersed into a dense solution of chemically identical polymers of length distribution P(N) is extensive in n . We argue that an additional contribution \( \delta\) \( \mu_{{{\rm c}}}^{}\)(n) ~ +1/\( \rho\) \( \sqrt{{n}}\) arises (\( \rho\) being the monomer density) for all P(N) if n ? 〈N〉 which can be traced back to the overall incompressibility of the solution leading to a long-range repulsion between monomers. Focusing on Flory-distributed melts, we obtain \( \delta\) \( \mu_{{{\rm c}}}^{}\)(n) \( \approx\) (1 - 2n/〈N〉)/\( \rho\) \( \sqrt{{n}}\) for n ? 〈N2 , hence, \( \delta\) \( \mu_{{{\rm c}}}^{}\)(n) \( \approx\) -1/\( \rho\) \( \sqrt{{n}}\) if n is similar to the typical length of the bath 〈N〉 . Similar results are obtained for monodisperse solutions. Our perturbation calculations are checked numerically by analyzing the annealed length distribution P(N) of linear equilibrium polymers generated by Monte Carlo simulation of the bond fluctuation model. As predicted we find, e.g., the non-exponentiality parameter K p \( \equiv\) 1 - 〈N p〉/p!〈Np to decay as K p \( \approx\) 1/\( \sqrt{{\langle N \rangle }}\) for all moments p of the distribution.  相似文献

Let \(z\in \mathbb {C}\), let \(\sigma ^2>0\) be a variance, and for \(N\in \mathbb {N}\) define the integrals
$$\begin{aligned} E_N^{}(z;\sigma ) := \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} {\frac{1}{\sigma }} \!\!\!\displaystyle \int _{\mathbb {R}}\! (x^2+z^2) \frac{e^{-\frac{1}{2\sigma ^2} x^2}}{\sqrt{2\pi }}dx&{}\quad \text{ if }\, N=1,\\ {\frac{1}{\sigma }} \!\!\!\displaystyle \int _{\mathbb {R}^N}\! \prod \prod \limits _{1\le k<l\le N}\!\! e^{-\frac{1}{2N}(1-\sigma ^{-2}) (x_k-x_l)^2} \prod _{1\le n\le N}\!\!\!\!(x_n^2+z^2) \frac{e^{-\frac{1}{2\sigma ^2} x_n^2}}{\sqrt{2\pi }}dx_n &{}\quad \text{ if }\, N>1. \end{array}\right. \!\!\! \end{aligned}$$
These are expected values of the polynomials \(P_N^{}(z)=\prod _{1\le n\le N}(X_n^2+z^2)\) whose 2N zeros \(\{\pm i X_k\}^{}_{k=1,\ldots ,N}\) are generated by N identically distributed multi-variate mean-zero normal random variables \(\{X_k\}^{N}_{k=1}\) with co-variance \(\mathrm{{Cov}}_N^{}(X_k,X_l)=(1+\frac{\sigma ^2-1}{N})\delta _{k,l}+\frac{\sigma ^2-1}{N}(1-\delta _{k,l})\). The \(E_N^{}(z;\sigma )\) are polynomials in \(z^2\), explicitly computable for arbitrary N, yet a list of the first three \(E_N^{}(z;\sigma )\) shows that the expressions become unwieldy already for moderate N—unless \(\sigma = 1\), in which case \(E_N^{}(z;1) = (1+z^2)^N\) for all \(z\in \mathbb {C}\) and \(N\in \mathbb {N}\). (Incidentally, commonly available computer algebra evaluates the integrals \(E_N^{}(z;\sigma )\) only for N up to a dozen, due to memory constraints). Asymptotic evaluations are needed for the large-N regime. For general complex z these have traditionally been limited to analytic expansion techniques; several rigorous results are proved for complex z near 0. Yet if \(z\in \mathbb {R}\) one can also compute this “infinite-degree” limit with the help of the familiar relative entropy principle for probability measures; a rigorous proof of this fact is supplied. Computer algebra-generated evidence is presented in support of a conjecture that a generalization of the relative entropy principle to signed or complex measures governs the \(N\rightarrow \infty \) asymptotics of the regime \(iz\in \mathbb {R}\). Potential generalizations, in particular to point vortex ensembles and the prescribed Gauss curvature problem, and to random matrix ensembles, are emphasized.

Central exclusive Higgs boson production, ppp H p, at the LHC can provide an important complementary contribution to the comprehensive study of the Higgs sector in a remarkably clean topology. The \(b\bar{b}\) Higgs decay mode is especially attractive, and for certain BSM scenarios may even become the discovery channel. Obvious requirements for the success of such exclusive measurements are strongly suppressed and controllable backgrounds. One potential source of background comes from additional gluon radiation which leads to a three-jet \(b\bar{b}g\) final state. We perform an explicit calculation of the subprocesses \(gg\to q\bar{q}g\), ggggg in the case of ‘internal’ gluon radiation from the spectator, t-channel screening gluon, when the two incoming active t-channel gluons form a color octet. We find that the overall contribution of this source of background is orders of magnitude lower than that caused by the main irreducible background resulting from the \(gg^{\mathrm{PP}}\to b\bar{b}\) subprocess. Therefore, this background contribution can be safely neglected.  相似文献

Soft X-ray absorption (XAS) and emission (XES) spectroscopies were applied to determine valence states of manganese ions in nanostructured powder of half-doped \(\hbox {La}_{0.5}\hbox {Ca}_{0.5}\hbox {MnO}_{3}\) manganite obtained by milling in a ball mill. XAS spectra were measured both in surface-sensitivity total electron-yield and in bulk-sensitivity total fluorescence-yield modes. O K\(_{\upalpha }\) XES and O 1s XAS spectra characterized the occupied and unoccupied partial O 2p densities of states are compared with band-structure calculations made using the TB-LMTO-ASA codes. Experimental Mn 2p, Ca 2p, and La 3\(d\) XAS spectra are compared with results of crystal field atomic multiplet calculations. For the nanostructured system of \(\hbox {La}_{0.5}\hbox {Ca}_{0.5}\hbox {MnO}_{3}\), concentrations of Mn\(^{4+}\) ions are found to be increased with increasing the time of milling.  相似文献

Direct measurements of Hubble parameters H(z) are very useful for cosmological model parameters inference. Based on them, Sahni, Shafieloo and Starobinski introduced a two-point diagnostic \(Omh^2(z_i, z_j)\) as an interesting tool for testing the validity of the \(\Lambda \hbox {CDM}\) model. Applying this test they found a tension between observations and predictions of the \(\Lambda \hbox {CDM}\) model. We use the most comprehensive compilation H(z) data from baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) and differential ages (DA) of passively evolving galaxies to study cosmological models using the Hubble parameters itself and to distinguish whether \(\Lambda \hbox {CDM}\) model is consistent with the observational data with statistical analysis of the corresponding \(Omh^2(z_i, z_j)\) two-point diagnostics. Our results show that presently available H(z) data significantly improve the constraints on cosmological parameters. The corresponding statistical \(Omh^2(z_i, z_j)\) two-point diagnostics seems to prefer the quintessence with \(w>-1\) over the \(\Lambda \hbox {CDM}\) model. Better and more accurate prior knowledge of the Hubble constant, will considerably improve the performance of the statistical \(Omh^2(z_i, z_j)\) method.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the absorption and radiation of nonminimally coupled scalar field from the charged BTZ black hole. We find the analytical expressions for the reflection coefficient, the absorption cross section and the decay rate in strong coupling case. We find that the reflection coefficient is directly governed by Hawking temperature \(T_{H}\), scalar wave frequency \(\omega \), Bekenstein–Hawking entropy \(S_{BH}\), angular momentum m and coupling constant \(\xi \).  相似文献

In this paper, the mass spectra are obtained for doubly heavy \(\Xi \) baryons, namely, \(\Xi _{cc}^{+}\), \(\Xi _{cc}^{++}\), \(\Xi _{bb}^{-}\), \(\Xi _{bb}^{0}\), \(\Xi _{bc}^{0}\) and \(\Xi _{bc}^{+}\). These baryons consist of two heavy quarks (cc, bb, and bc) with a light (d or u) quark. The ground, radial, and orbital states are calculated in the framework of the hypercentral constituent quark model with Coulomb plus linear potential. Our results are also compared with other predictions, thus, the average possible range of excited states masses of these \(\Xi \) baryons can be determined. The study of the Regge trajectories is performed in (n, \(M^{2}\)) and (J, \(M^{2}\)) planes and their slopes and intercepts are also determined. Lastly, the ground state magnetic moments of these doubly heavy baryons are also calculated.  相似文献

In Einstein gravity, gravitational potential goes as \(1/r^{d-3}\) in d non-compactified spacetime dimensions, which assumes the familiar 1 / r form in four dimensions. On the other hand, it goes as \(1/r^{\alpha }\), with \(\alpha =(d-2m-1)/m\), in pure Lovelock gravity involving only one mth order term of the Lovelock polynomial in the gravitational action. The latter offers a novel possibility of having 1 / r potential for the non-compactified dimension spectrum given by \(d=3m+1\). Thus it turns out that in the two prototype gravitational settings of isolated objects, like black holes and the universe as a whole – cosmological models, the Einstein gravity in four and mth order pure Lovelock gravity in \(3m+1\) dimensions behave in a similar fashion as far as gravitational interactions are considered. However propagation of gravitational waves (or the number of degrees of freedom) does indeed serve as a discriminator because it has two polarizations only in four dimensions.  相似文献

The hyperfine constants of the levels 2p 2 \((^{3}\)P)3s 4P J , 2p 2 \((^3\)P)3p 4P\(^o_J\) and 2p 2 \((^3\)P)3p 4D\(^o_J\), deduced by Jennerich et al. [Eur. Phys. J. [J. Phys. B: At. Mol.Opt. Phys. 43, 115006 (2010)].We propose a new interpretation of the recorded weak spectral lines. If the latter are indeed reinterpreted as crossover signals, a new set of experimental hyperfine constants is deduced, in very good agreement with the ab initio predictions.  相似文献
