Two new eremophilenolides, ligushicins A (1) and B (2), and two known compounds including β-sitosterol and ursolic acid were isolated from Ligulariopsis shichuana. The structures of new compounds were established on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR data and HRESIMS data interpretation. The absolute configuration of new compounds was assigned by ECD spectroscopy, and that of ligushicins A (1) was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. The antifungal and antifeedant activities of new compounds were evaluated against four plant pathogenic fungi and third-instar larvae of Plutella xylostella, respectively. Ligushicins A (1) and B (2) exhibited potent antifungal activity against Botrytis cinerea and Fusarium oxysporum with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values ranging from 50 to 100 mg/L, while they also exhibited weak antifeedant activities.  相似文献

Abstract

The phytochemical investigation on the twigs and leaves of Archidendron clypearia (Jack) I.C.N. led to the isolation of three pairs of furolactone-type lignans enantiomers, including a pair of new compounds (1R,5S,6S)-Kachiranol (1a) and (1S,5R,6R)-Kachiranol (1b) and four known compounds (2a/2b and 3a/3b). Separation of the furolactone-type lignans enantiomeric mixtures was achieved using chiral HPLC for the first time. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic analysis and comparison between the experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra. All optical pure compounds were evaluated for their inhibitory effects on β-amyloid aggregation by ThT assay. Among them, the inhibitory activity of the compound 1b (71.1%) was higher than the positive control (61.0%) and other compounds. In addition, molecular dynamics and molecular docking were employed to explore the binding relationship between the ligand and the receptor.  相似文献

A phytochemical investigation of Ajuga forrestii Diels led to the isolation of 14 compounds, including eight neo-clerodane diterpenes (1–8), two phytoecdysteroids (9, 11), one stigmastane sterol (10) and three iridoid glycosides (12–14). The structures of these compounds were identified by spectroscopic methods and a comparison of their data with those reported in the literature. This is the first report of compounds 1–14 from A. forrestii. The cytotoxic activities of the aqueous extract of A. forrestii and several compounds have been studied and the chemotaxonomic significance of isolated compounds has also been summarised.  相似文献

Three new seco-ursadiene triterpenoids 13 together with 11 known compounds were isolated from Salvia syriaca of Jordanian origin. The compounds were identified by using NMR spectroscopy including extensive 2D NMR experiments and mass spectrometry. The structure of compound 3 was confirmed by X-ray crystallography, and the information thus obtained was used to confirm the stereochemistry of compounds 1 and 2. This is the second report of 17,22-seco-17(28),12-ursadien-22-oic acids.  相似文献

Abstract

A new allo-cedrane sesquiterpene glycoside (1) and nine known compounds (210) were isolated from the ethanol extract of the fruit of Illicium simonii Maxim. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 1D-, 2D-NMR, and HRESIMS. The absolute configuration of compound 1 was confirmed by CD experiments. Among them, compounds 1, 4, 5, and 7 displayed moderate anti-inflammatory activities by use of an in vitro bioassay.  相似文献

A new triterpenoid glycoside (1) and 15 known compounds (216) were isolated from the whole plants of Gueldenstaedtia verna. The new compound (1) was identified as complogenin 22-O-β-d-glucopyranoside by extensive spectroscopic techniques including 1D (1H and 13C) and 2D NMR experiments (HSQC, HMBC and NOESY), HR-DART-MS and chemical methods. Most of the isolates were evaluated for their inhibitory activities on LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 cells. The inhibitory effects of the active compounds, sulphuretin (8) and (22E,24S)-5α,8α-epidioxy-24-methyl-cholesta-6,9(11),22-trien-3β-ol (13), on the production of pro-inflammatory mediators (including IL-6, IL1β and PGE2) were further estimated in vitro by ELISA in RAW 264.7 macrophages.  相似文献

A new aporphine glycoside, (-)-anolobine-9-O-β-D-glucopyranoside was isolated from the twigs of pawpaw (Asimina triloba) along with 7 known alkaloids including five aporphine alkaloids (anolobine, nornuciferine, norushinsunine, liriodenine, and lysicamine), a proaporhine alkaloid (stepharine), and a tetrahydrobenzylisoquinoline alkaloid (coclaurine). Among these compounds, nornuciferine, lysicamine, stepharine, and coclaurine are reported for the first time from this plant. The structure of the new compound was elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 1?D, 2?D NMR, and HRESI-MS. Abstract

To discover novel structural compounds which are producted by endophytic fungi, a primary chemical profiling of Camptotheca acuminata Decne derived endophytic fungus Penicillum polonicum had been taken. Two new compounds β-lactone polonicin A (1) and enoic acid polonicin B (2) together with seven known compounds 3-9 were isolated from Penicillum polonicum obtained from C. acuminata. The structures of the new compounds 1 and 2 were identified by modern spectrum technology including detailed 1D, 2D NMR and MS data analyses. When tested against HepG2 hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines, compounds 4-8 showed moderate anti-HCC activity. In addition, compound 1-3 have effects on increasing GLUT4 translocation and glucose uptake in vitro. Compound 1 showed the strongest glucose uptake and GLUT4 translocation activities in rat skeleton (L6) myoblast cell line with enhancements of 1.8 and 2.1 folds respectively compared to the control.  相似文献

The bioactivity guided fractionation of Tetracera indica leaves crude ethanolic extract has afforded the isolation and characterization of six compounds including a new natural product viz., 5,7-dihydroxyflavone-O-8-sulphate (1) and five known flavonoids (26). The structures of the compounds were elucidated using 1D and 2D NMR and HRESIMS spectroscopic analyses. All the isolated compounds were evaluated for their in vitro inhibitory activity against alpha-glucosidase. Compound 1, 5 and 6 showed strong alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity, 3 and 4 displayed weak activity while compound 2 was inactive. The interactions of the active compounds with alpha-glucosidase were further investigated using molecular docking to confirm their antidiabetic potential.  相似文献

Teucrium chamaedrys L. is an aromatic and medicinal plant used as traditional medicine. Aerial parts of the plant material were dried and extracted with hexane–dichloromethane (extract 1), ethyl acetate–dichloromethane (extract 2) and methanol–dichloromethane (extract 3) in a ratio of 1:1 at rt successively. The solvents were evaporated to give crude extracts. Extract 1 was suspended in water at 60°C then partitioned successively with hexane and ethyl acetate to give hexane and ethyl acetate portions. After the column chromatography (silica gel) of ethyl acetate extract, one new and four known compounds were isolated. The new compound was named as 1(12S,18R)-15,16-epoxy-2β,6β-dihydroxy-neo-cleroda-13(16),14-dien-20,l2-olide-l8,l9-hemiacetal (teuchamaedryn D) (4). The known compounds were teucrin A (1), dihydroteugin (2), teucroxide (3), syspirensin A (5). The chromatographic methods were also applied for extract 3 to isolate verbascoside (6) and teucrioside (7). The structure of isolated compounds was elucidated by spectroscopic methods including LC-TOF/MS, 1D NMR and 2D NMR.  相似文献

A pentacyclic triterpene, named salvibuchanic acid (1), together with five known compounds, were isolated from the roots of Salvia buchananii Hedge (Lamiaceae). The structural characterisation of all compounds was performed by spectroscopic analyses, including 1D and 2D NMR and HRESIMS experiments. The lupane triterpene (1) and hyptadienic acid (2) were investigated for their potential cytotoxic activity on Jurkat, HeLa and MCF7 cell lines. Both compounds showed an interesting antiproliferative activity with similar potency in all cell lines. By means of flow cytometric studies, hyptadienic acid (2) induced in HeLa cells a S cell cycle block, while 1 elicited both cytostatic and cytotoxic responses.  相似文献

The secondary metabolites of Xylaria cf. cubensis SWUF08-86 fungus were investigated, and the chromatographic separation of the crude extracts yielded seventeen compounds. The structure elucidation by spectroscopic analysis including 1D and 2D NMR and the comparison of these data with literature, along with HREIMS spectrometry, revealed one new amino amidine derivative (1), together with five known simple cyclic dipeptide analogs, diketopiperazines (26) and eleven other known compounds, including one hemi-cycline (10), three aromatic derivatives (1113), one sesquiterpene (14) and three sterols (1517). The isolated compounds were screened for anticancer and anti-pathogenic bacterial and fungal activities. Based on this work, Xylaria cf. cubensis SWUF08-86 has proven to be a diverse secondary metabolites producer.  相似文献

Some highly polar compounds are quality control makers for medicinal herbs. However, investigation of them has been hampered because the existing fractionation steps are difficult and laborious to purify them. Similar situations happen to Rhizoma Polygonatum Odorati, a widely used food supplement and medicinal herb with strong antioxidant activity, and up to date, only ethyl acetate fraction of Rhizoma Polygonatum Odorati has been comprehensively investigated. Here, HSCCC using a hydrophilic solvent system composed of n-butanol–ethanol–2 M ammonium sulfate (1:1:2, v/v/v) was performed to isolate highly polar antioxidants in n–butanol fraction of Rhizoma Polygonatum Odorati, guided by DPPH–HPLC experiment. Afterward, Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography eluted by methanol was selected to eliminate ammonium sulfate and purify co-eluted compounds in HSCCC collected fractions. Finally, nine compounds, including four nucleosides, cytidine (1), uridine (4), guanosine (5), and adenosine (8); two nucleobases, guanine (3), and adenine (6); and three amino acids, tyrosine (2), phenylalanine (7), and tryptophan (9) with purities over 98% were achieved and identified by UV, MS, and 1H NMR data. Notably, compounds 19 were first reported in genus Polygonatum. The results indicated that the proposed method was an efficient approach to isolate and purify highly polar compounds from complex extracts.  相似文献

The excretions/secretions from the maggot of Chrysomyis megacephala Fabricius are traditionally used to treat serious infections in China. In this study, bioassay-guided fractionation led to the isolation of three novel antibacterial compounds (13), including important fluorinated compounds (3 and 5), together with other nine known compounds from 70% methanol extract of C. megacephala. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by NMR spectroscopic analysis and high-resolution mass spectroscopy. The antibacterial activities of the isolated compounds were evaluated using agar disc diffusion method. New compounds 1 and 2 exhibited moderate activity against Bacillus subtilis with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 250 μg mL? 1. The most active compounds 3 and 5 displayed a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity with an MIC of 125 μg mL? 1 against G+ and G bacteria. The structure of the above-mentioned novel compounds and their antimicrobial activities are herein reported for the first time from the natural product of insects.  相似文献

Two new benzolactones, 5-methyl-6-prenyl-isobenzofuran-1(3H)-one (1), 5-hydroxymethyl-6-prenyl-isobenzofuran-1(3H)-one (2), together with four known phenolic compounds (3–6), were isolated from the leaves of Nicotiana tabacum. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including extensive 1D and 2D NMR techniques. Compounds 1–6 were evaluated for their anti-tobacco mosaic virus (anti-TMV) activities. The results showed that compounds 1–6 exhibited high anti-TMV activities with inhibition rates in the range of 16.9–26.2%, respectively.  相似文献

Two antidiabetic compounds named 4-methoxybenzo[b]azet-2(1H)-one (1) and 3β-hydroxy-35-(cyclohexyl-5′-propan-7′-one)-33-ethyl-34-methyl-bacteriohop-16-ene (2) together with stigmasterol and β-sitosterol were isolated from the aerial part of Roylea cinerea (D.Don) Baill. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by advanced spectroscopic methods, including two-dimensional NMR and MS techniques. These compounds were evaluated for their antidiabetic efficacy using in vitro and in vivo methods. Both compounds (1 and 2) showed a significant decline in blood glucose level of alloxan-induced diabetic rats at 10 mg/kg, p.o. when compared with glibenclamide at a similar dose. The in vitro studies revealed that compound 1 reduced α-amylase and α-glucosidase by 83.0 and 78.5%, respectively, whereas compound 2 reduced the same by 58.2 and 58.4%, respectively, at 100 μM. The present study supports the role of R. cinerea in Ayurvedic medicine for diabetes.  相似文献

Using various chromatographic separations, eight sesquiterpenoids (18), including one new compound 3β,5α-dihydroxyeudesma-4(15),11-diene (1), were isolated from the MeOH extract of the Vietnamese soft coral Sinularia erecta. The structure elucidation was confirmed by spectroscopic experiments including 1D and 2D NMR and HR-ESI-MS. The cytotoxic activities against three human cancer cell lines (A-549, HeLa and PANC-1) of all isolated compounds were evaluated by MTT-based colorimetric assays. Compound 1 exhibited selective cytotoxicity against the A549 cell line with IC50 of 14.79 ± 0.91 μM.  相似文献

A new chromene, acetic acid 2R-(4,8-dimethylnona-3,7-dienyl)-8-hydroxy-2-methyl-2H-chromen-6-yl ester (1), was isolated from the fruiting bodies of Chroogomphus rutilus, together with six known compounds (27). The structures of these compounds were identified based on 1D and 2D NMR, including 1H–1H COSY, HMQC and HMBC spectroscopic methods. Abstract

A new 2-arylbenzofuran, spathobenzofuran (1), together with ten known compounds including a 2-arylbenzofuran, three pterocarpans and six isoflavones were isolated from the acetone crude extract of the stems of Spatholobus parviflorus. All compounds were characterised by spectroscopic methods. Compound 4 was active (MIC 8?µg/mL) against Gram-negative Pseudomonas aeruginosa TISTR 781 while compound 2 had modest activity against Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus TISTR 1466 with a MIC value of 16?µg/mL. All isolated compounds showed no cytotoxicity against Vero and KB cells.  相似文献

Two new phenylpropanoids, tagalphenylpropanoidins A-B (1–2), together with a known analogue, 2,3,6-trimethoxy-5-(1-propenyl)phenol (3), were isolated from the ethanolic extract of the Chinese mangrove Ceriops tagal. The structures of these compounds were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis, including 1D and 2D NMR and HR-ESI-MS, as well as the comparison with data in the literature. Compound 3 was discovered from this plant for the first time. Cytotoxicities of the three compounds against MCF-7 and HL-60 cancer cell lines were also evaluated.  相似文献
