The pendant‐armed ligands L1 and L2 were synthesized by N‐alkylation of the four secondary amine groups of the macrocyclic precursor L using o‐nitrobenzylbromide (L1) and p‐nitrobenzylbromide (L2). Nitrates and perchlorates of CuII, NiII and CoII were used to synthesize the metal complexes of both ligands and the complexes were characterized by microanalysis, MS‐FAB, conductivity measurements, IR and UV‐Vis spectroscopy and magnetic studies. The crystal structures of L1, [CuL1](ClO4)2·CH3CN·H2O, [CuL2](ClO4)2·6CH3CN, [CuL2][Cu(NO3)4]·5CH3CN·0.5CH3OH and [NiL2](ClO4)2·3CH3CN·H2O were determined by single crystal X‐ray crystallography. These structural analysis reveal the free ligand L1, three mononuclear endomacrocyclic complexes {[CuL1](ClO4)2·CH3CN·H2O, [CuL2](ClO4)2·6CH3CN and [NiL2](ClO4)2·3CH3CN·H2O} and one binuclear complex {[CuL2][Cu(NO3)4]·5CH3CN·0.5CH3OH} in which one of the metals is in the macrocyclic framework and the other metal is outside the ligand cavity and coordinated to four nitrate ions.  相似文献

The pyridine‐2‐carbaldehyde semicarbazone ligand (HL) reacts with iron(II) and copper(II) perchlorates in boiling ethanol to yield red‐violet [FeII(HL)2](ClO4)2·H2O ( 1 ) and light‐green crystals [CuII(HL)2](ClO4)2·H2O ( 2 ). The crystals are triclinic with the metal ions in an octahedral environment, coordinated to two nitrogen and one oxygen‐donor atom from HL. Electronic, magnetic and electrochemical properties are presented as well.  相似文献

The new synthesized ligand (DADMBTZ = 2,2′‐diamino‐5,5′‐dimethyl‐4,4′‐bithiazole), which is mentioned in this text, is used for preparing the two new complexes [Zn(DADMBTZ)3](ClO4)2. 0.8MeOH.0.2H2O ( 1 ) and [Cd(DADMBTZ)3](ClO4)2 ( 2 ). The characterization was done by IR, 1H, 13C NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single crystal X‐ray determination. In reaction with DADMBTZ, zinc(II) and cadmium(II) show different characterization. In 2 , to form a tris‐chelate complex with nearly C3 symmetry for coordination polyhedron, DADMBTZ acts as a bidentate ligand. In 1 , this difference maybe relevant to small radii of Zn2+ which make one of the DADMBTZ ligands act as a monodentate ligand to form the five coordinated Zn2+ complex. In both 1 and 2 complexes the anions are symmetrically different. 1 and 2 complexes form 2‐D and 3‐D networks via N‐H···O and N‐H···N hydrogen bonds, respectively.  相似文献

The amino substituted bidentate chelating ligand 2‐amino‐5‐(2‐pyridyl)‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole (H2 L ) was used to prepare 3:1‐type coordination compounds of iron(II), cobalt(II) and nickel(II). In the iron(II) perchlorate complex [FeII(H2 L )3](ClO4)2·0.6MeOH·0.9H2O a 1:1 mixture of mer and fac isomers is present whereas [FeII(H2 L )3](BF4)2·MeOH·H2O, [CoII(H2 L )3](ClO4)2·2H2O and [NiII(H2 L )3](ClO4)2·MeOH·H2O feature merely mer derivatives. Moessbauer spectroscopy and variable temperature magnetic measurements revealed the [FeII(H2 L )3]2+ complex core to exist in the low‐spin state, whereas the [CoII(H2 L )3]2+ complex core resides in its high‐spin state, even at very low temperatures.  相似文献

Complexes with Macrocyclic Ligands. IV. Heterodinuclear Cobalt(II), Nickel(II), Copper(II), Zinc(II) and Palladium(II) Complexes with a Macrocyclic Ligand of Schiff‐Base Type: Syntheses and Structures The synthesis and properties of nickel(II), copper(II), and palladium(II) complexes, [MLPh] ( 3 ; LPh = N,N′‐phenylene‐bis(3‐formyl‐5‐tert.‐butyl‐salicylaldimine)), are described. These neutral mononuclear complexes react with metal(II) perchlorate and 1,3‐propylenediamine to form heterodinuclear, macrocyclic, cationic complexes of the type [MM′(LPh,3)]2+ ( 4 ; M = Ni, Cu, Pd; M′ = Co, Cu, Zn). The structures of the five new compounds [NiCo(LPh,3)](ClO4)2, [NiCu(LPh,3)](ClO4)2, [CuCu(LPh,3)](ClO4)2, [CuZn(LPh,3)](ClO4)2, and [PdCu(LPh,3)](ClO4)2 were determined by X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

The reaction of (Z)‐2‐[amino(pyridine‐2‐yl)methylene]hydrazonecarbothioamide (HAm4DH) with Mn(ClO4)2·6H2O afforded different mononuclear or polynuclear manganese(II) complexes, the nature of which apparently depended on the solvent used. For example, in ethanol a compound of formula [Mn(HAm4DH)2](ClO4)2 ( 1 ) was obtained, where HAm4DH coordinates as a common tridentate NNS donor, but the [Mn(bpy)2(NCS)2] complex ( 2 ) (bpy = 2,2'‐bipyridine) has also been obtained – probably due to C–N bond cleavage of the thiosemicarbazone. Nevertheless, in a basic aqueous medium [Mn(bpy)3](ClO4)2·0.5bpy ( 3 ) is formed and there is structural evidence for chemical transformations of the thiosemicarbazone promoted by MnII. Thus, the sulfate in {[Mn(py)4Mn(py)2(H2O)2(μ‐SO4)2]·4H2O}n ( 4 ) or sulfate and cyclooctasulfur in [Mn(pta)2(pdo)]4(SO4)2·4H2O·S8] ( 5 ), where pta is 3‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,2,4‐triazol‐5‐amine and pdo is (2R,4R/2S,4S)‐pentane‐2,4‐diolato, arise from the desulfuration and oxidation of the thiosemicarbazone ligand. The structures of complexes 2 to 5 were established by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The formation of pta is the result of the oxidative cyclization of HAm4DH. In the polynuclear complex 4 , the sulfate acts as an (O,O') bridge between alternating Mn(py)2(H2O)2 and Mn(py)4 centers. In the tetranuclear complex 5 , pta acts as a bischelating ligand through the N‐pyridine and N‐triazole, and pdo act as a bridge between two manganese atoms. It is also noteworthy that in complexes 4 and 5 hydrogen bonds give rise to different self‐assembly behaviour that leads to complicated supramolecular structures.  相似文献

The reaction of the aryl‐oxide ligand H2L [H2L = N,N‐bis(3, 5‐dimethyl‐2‐hydroxybenzyl)‐N‐(2‐pyridylmethyl)amine] with CuSO4 · 5H2O, CuCl2 · 2H2O, CuBr2, CdCl2 · 2.5H2O, and Cd(OAc)2 · 2H2O, respectively, under hydrothermal conditions gave the complexes [Cu(H2L1)2] · SO4 · 3CH3OH ( 1 ), [Cu2(H2L2)2Cl4] ( 2 ), [Cu2(H2L2)2Br4] ( 3 ), [Cd2(HL)2Cl2] ( 4 ), and [Cd2(L)2(CH3COOH)2] · H2L ( 5 ), where H2L1 [H2L1 = 2, 4‐dimethyl‐6‐((pyridin‐2‐ylmethylamino)methyl)phenol] and H2L2 [H2L2 = 2‐(2, 4‐dimethyl‐6‐((pyridin‐2‐ylmethylamino)methyl)phenoxy)‐4, 6‐dimethylphenol] were derived from the solvothermal in situ metal/ligand reactions. These complexes were characterized by IR spectroscopy, elementary analysis, and X‐ray diffraction. A low‐temperature magnetic susceptibility measurement for the solid sample of 2 revealed antiferromagnetic interactions between two central copper(II) atoms. The emission property studies for complexes 4 and 5 indicated strong luminescence emission.  相似文献

Two macrocyclic copper(II) complexes, [CuL1](ClO4)2 (L1 = 2,6,9,13-tetraparacyclophane, a Schiff base) and [CuL2]Cl2 [L2 = 3,10-bis(2-benzyl)-1,3,5,8,10,13-hexaazacyclotetradecane] have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, u.v.–vis., i.r. and mass spectra. Absorption, fluorescence, circular dichroic spectra and viscosity experiments have been carried out on the interaction of the two complexes with calf thymus CT DNA. The results suggest that both complexes can bind to CT DNA by intercalation via the aromatic moiety ring in the macrocycle into the base pairs of DNA. [CuL1](ClO4)2 binds to CT DNA more strongly than [CuL2]Cl2. The position of the aromatic ring in the macrocycle plays an important role in deciding the extent of binding of the complexes to DNA. Significantly, the complexes have been found to be single-strand DNA cleavers in the presence of H2O2 or/and 2-mercaptoethanol.  相似文献

A new ligand, 3-methyl-4-(p-bromophenyl)-5-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) and its complexes, trans-[CuL2(ClO4)2] (1) and cis-[CoL2(H2O)2](ClO4)2·H2O·CH3OH (2), have been synthesized and characterized by UV, IR, electrospray ionization mass spectrum, elemental analyses, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. In the structure, two L ligands are stabilized by intermolecular π···π interactions between the triazole rings. In the complexes, each L ligand adopts a chelating bidentate mode through N atom of pyridyl group and one N atom of the triazole. Both complexes have a similar distorted octahedral [MN4O2] core (M = Cu2+ and Co2+) with two ClO4 ions in the trans position in 1 but two H2O molecules in the cis arrangement in 2.  相似文献

A group of a diverse family of dinuclear copper(II) complexes derived from pyrazole‐containing tridentate N2O ligands, 1,3‐bis(3,5‐dimethylpyrazol‐1‐yl)propan‐2‐ol (Hdmpzpo), 1,3‐bis(3‐phenyl‐5‐methyl pyrazol‐1‐yl)propan‐2‐ol (Hpmpzpo) and 1,3‐bis(3‐cumyl‐5‐methylpyrazol‐1‐yl)propan‐2‐ol (Hcmpzpo), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and three of them also by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Three complexes, [Cu2(pmpzpo)2](NO3)2·2CH3OH ( 3 ·2CH3OH), [Cu2(pmpzpo)2](ClO4)2 ( 4 ) and [Cu2(cmpzpo)2](ClO4)2·2DMF ( 7 ·2DMF), each exhibits a dimeric structure with a inversion center being located between the two copper atoms. The metal ion is coordinated in a distorted square planar environment by two pyrazole nitrogen atoms and two bridging alkoxo oxygen atoms. Both complexes 1 ·CH3OH·H2O and 3 ·2CH3OH were investigated in anaerobic conditions for the catalytic oxidation of 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol (3,5‐DTBC) to the corresponding quinone (3,5‐DTBQ), for modeling the functional properties of catechol oxidase. Using the ligands N‐methylimidazole ( MeIm ), N‐ethylimidazole ( EtIm ), N‐propylimidazole ( PrIm ), and 1‐methyl‐1H‐1, 2, 4‐triazole ( MeTz ) three series with a total of 13 iron(II) complexes were isolated. The series comprise of the following complexes: (a) [Fe( MeIm )6](ClO4)2 ( 1 ), [Fe( EtIm )6](ClO4)2 ( 2 ), [Fe( PrIm )6](ClO4)2( 3 ), [Fe( MeTz )6](ClO4)2 ( 4 ), [Fe( MeIm )6](MeSO3)2 ( 5 ), [Fe( EtIm )6](MeSO3)2 ( 6 ), and [Fe( MeTz )6](BF4)2 ( 10 ); (b) [Fe( MeIm )4(MeSO3)2]( 7 ), [Fe( EtIm )4(MeSO3)2] ( 8 ), and [Fe( PrIm )4(MeSO3)2] ( 9 ); (c) [Fe( MeIm )4(NCS)2] ( 15 ), [Fe( EtIm )4(NCS)2] ( 16 ), and [Fe( MeTz )4(NCS)2] ( 17 ). Single crystal X‐ray diffraction studies were performed on 7 – 10 and 15 – 17 . Temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements were performed on selective examples of all series, and confirmed them to be in the HS state over the range 6–300 K. DFT calculations were performed at BP86/def‐SV(P) and TPSSh/def2‐TZVPP level on all [Fe L 6]2+ complex cations and the neutral complexes 7 – 9 and 15 – 17 . Additionally the four homoleptic nickel(II) complexes [Ni L 6](ClO4)2 ( 11 : L = MeIm ; 12 : L = EtIm ; 13 : L = PrIm ; 14 : L = MeTz ) were synthesized and compounds 11 – 13 structurally characterized. UV/Vis/NIR spectroscopic measurements were carried out on all homoleptic iron(II) and nickel(II) complexes. The 10Dq values were determined to be in the range of 11547–11574 and 10471–10834 cm–1 for the iron(II) and nickel(II) complexes, respectively.  相似文献

Two macrocyclic Schiff base ligands, L1 [1+1] and L2 [2+2], have been obtained in a one-pot cyclocondensation of 1,4-bis(2-formylphenyl)piperazine and 1,3-diaminopropane. Unfortunately, because of the low solubility of both ligands, their separation was unsuccessful. In the direct reaction of these mixed ligands (L1 and L2) and the appropriate metal ions only [CoL1(NO3)]ClO4, [NiL1](ClO4)2, [CuL1](ClO4)2 and [ZnL1(NO3)]ClO4 complexes have been isolated. All the complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, FAB-MS, conductivity measurements and in the case of the [ZnL1(NO3)]ClO4 complex with NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

In the two isomorphous title compounds, viz. tris[2,2′‐bi(4,5‐dihydro‐1,3‐oxazole)‐κ2N,N′]copper(II) diperchlorate, [Cu(C6H8N2O2)3](ClO4)2, (I), and tris[2,2′‐bi(4,5‐dihydro‐1,3‐oxazole)‐κ2N,N′]nickel(II) diperchlorate, [Ni(C6H8N2O2)3](ClO4)2, (II), the MII ions each have a distorted octahedral coordination geometry formed via six N atoms from three 2,2′‐bioxazoline ligands. For each ligand, the two five‐membered rings are nearly coplanar. It is noteworthy that the Jahn–Teller effect is stronger in (I) than in (II). The three‐dimensional supramolecular structures of (I) and (II) are formed via weak hydrogen‐bonding interactions between O atoms from perchlorate anions and H atoms from 2,2′‐bioxazoline ligands.  相似文献

The first heterodinuclear ruthenium(II) complexes of the 1,6,7,12‐tetraazaperylene (tape) bridging ligand with iron(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II) were synthesized and characterized. The metal coordination sphere in this complexes is filled by the tetradentate N,N′‐dimethyl‐2,11‐diaza[3.3](2,6)‐pyridinophane (L‐N4Me2) ligand, yielding complexes of the general formula [(L‐N4Me2)Ru(µ‐tape)M(L‐N4Me2)](ClO4)2(PF6)2 with M = Fe {[ 2 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}, Co {[ 3 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}, and Ni {[ 4 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}. Furthermore, the heterodinuclear tape ruthenium(II) complexes with palladium(II)‐ and platinum(II)‐dichloride [(bpy)2Ru(μ‐tape)PdCl2](PF6)2 {[ 5 ](PF6)2} and [(dmbpy)2Ru(μ‐tape)PtCl2](PF6)2 {[ 6 ](PF6)2}, respectively were also prepared. The molecular structures of the complex cations [ 2 ]4+ and [ 4 ]4+ were discussed on the basis of the X‐ray structures of [ 2 ](ClO4)4 · MeCN and [ 4 ](ClO4)4 · MeCN. The electrochemical behavior and the UV/Vis absorption spectra of the heterodinuclear tape ruthenium(II) complexes were explored and compared with the data of the analogous mono‐ and homodinuclear ruthenium(II) complexes of the tape bridging ligand.  相似文献

The N‐functionalized macrocyclic ligand 2,13‐bis(1‐naphthalenylmethyl)‐5,16‐dimethyl‐2,6,13,17‐tetraazatricyclo(14,4,01.18,07.12)docosane (L3) and its copper(II) complex were prepared. The crystal structure of [Cu(L3)](ClO4)2·2CH3CN was determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction at 150 K. The copper atom, which lies on an inversion centre, has a square planar arrangement and the complex adopts a stable trans‐III configuration. The longer distance [2.081(2) Å] for Cu–N(tertiary) compared to 2.030(3) Å for Cu–N(secondary) may be due to the steric effect of the attached naphthalenylmethyl group on the tertiary nitrogen atom. Two perchlorate ions are weakly attached to copper in axial sites and are further connected to the ligand of the cation through NH ··· O hydrogen bonds [N ··· O 3.098 Å]. IR and UV/Vis spectroscopic properties are also described.  相似文献

Two mononuclear copper(II) complexes with pyrazole derivatives, 1,1′-(anthracen-9-ylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazole) (L1 ) and 9-(4-(di(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methyl)phenyl)-9H-carbazole (L2 ), of formulae [CuL1(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 (1) and [CuL2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 (2) were prepared. Both complexes were confirmed by IR, MS, 1H NMR, and elemental analyses. Complex 1 was also characterized by X-ray crystallography, confirming that copper(II) is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms from two L1 and two oxygen atoms from two perchlorates. Furthermore, all ligands and complexes were tested in vitro for their antitumor activities using mouse melanoma cell line B16-F10, HepG2 human hepatoma cell line, and A549 human lung adenocarcinoma cell line. Both complexes displayed potent cytotoxicity and are promising substrates for further investigations.  相似文献

The title compund, [Cu2(OH)2(C22H25N3)2](ClO4)2, is a copper(II) dimer, with two [CuL]2+ units [L is bis(6‐methyl‐2‐pyridylmethyl)(2‐phenylethyl)amine] bridged by hydroxide groups to define the {[CuL](μ‐OH)2[CuL]}2+ cation. Charge balance is provided by perchlorate counter‐anions. The cation has a crystallographic inversion centre halfway between the CuII ions, which are separated by 3.0161 (8) Å. The central core of the cation is an almost regular Cu2O2 parallelogram of sides 1.931 (2) and 1.935 (2) Å, with a Cu—O—Cu angle of 102.55 (11)°. The coordination geometry around each CuII centre can be best described as a square‐based pyramid, with three N atoms from L ligands and two hydroxide O atoms completing the coordination environment. Each cationic unit is hydrogen bonded to two perchlorate anions by means of hydroxide–perchlorate O—H...O interactions.  相似文献

Complexes with Macrocyclic Ligands. V Dinuclear Copper(II) Complexes with Chiral Macrocyclic Ligands of Schiff‐Base Type: Syntheses and Structures The synthesis and properties of four chiral, dinuclear, macrocyclic, cationic copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(Lm,n)]2+ ( 1 – 4 ), are described. The two symmetrical compounds [Cu2(L2,2)][ClO4]2 ( 1 and 2 ) were synthesized in a one‐step reaction from 2,6‐diformyl‐4‐tert.‐butylphenol, copper(II)‐perchlorate and the chiral diamine (1S,2S)‐1,2‐diphenylethylenediamine (synthesis of 1 ) and (1R,2R)‐1,2‐diaminocyclohexane (synthesis of 2 ), respectively. For the synthesis of the two unsymmetrical compounds [Cu2(LPh,n)][ClO4]2 ( 3 and 4 ) the mononuclear, neutral copper(II) complex [CuLPh] ( 5 ) [synthesized from 2,6‐diformyl‐4‐tert.‐butylphenol, copper(II)‐acetate and 1,2‐phenylenediamine] was reacted with (1R,2R)‐1,2‐diaminocyclohexane (synthesis of 3 ) and (S)‐1,1′‐binaphthyl‐2,2′‐diamine (synthesis of 4 ), respectively. The structures of the two unsymmetrical copper(II) compounds ( 3 and 4 ) were determined by X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of two pyrazolate‐bridged dicopper(II) complexes, [Cu2(L1)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 ( 1 , HL1=3,5‐dipyridyl‐4‐(2‐keto‐pyridyl)pyrazole) and [Cu2(L2)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 ( 2 , HL2=3,5‐dipyridyl‐4‐benzoylpyrazole), are discussed. These copper(II) complexes are formed from the reactions between pyridine‐2‐aldehyde, 2‐acetylpyridine (for compound 1 ) or acetophenone (for compound 2 ), and hydrazine hydrate with copper(II) perchlorate hydrate under ambient conditions. The single‐crystal X‐ray structure of compound 1? 2 H2O establishes the formation of a pyrazole ring from three different carbon centers through C? C bond‐forming reactions, mediated by copper(II) ions. The free pyrazoles (HL1 and HL2) are isolated from their corresponding copper(II) complexes and are characterized by using various analytical and spectroscopic techniques. A mechanism for the pyrazole‐ring synthesis that proceeds through C? C bond‐forming reactions is proposed and supported by theoretical calculations.  相似文献
