根据神光-Ⅲ原型内爆实验条件下初级中子能谱诊断的要求,提出了反冲质子磁谱仪原型的设计方案,并通过蒙特卡罗程序Geant4对设计方案进行了仿真模拟。该质谱仪的测量能区在6~30 MeV,测量产额范围大于1012,能够测量内爆实验的全中子能谱。模拟结果表明:设计的谱仪对于14 MeV的中子探测效率大于10-11,能量分辨达到1%,信噪比大于10,满足神光-Ⅲ原型装置内爆实验离子温度诊断的要求。  相似文献

A magnetic proton recoil (MPR) spectrometer is a novel instrument with superior performance, including high energy resolution, high count rate and good signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for measurements of neutron spectra from inertial confinement fusion (ICF) experiments and high power Tokomaks. In this work, the design of a compact MPR spectrometer (cMPR) was evaluated for deuteron-tritium (DT) neutron spectroscopy. The characteristics of the spectrometer were analyzed using 2-D beam transport simulations, 3-D particle transport calculations and Monte-Carlo simulations. Based on the theoretical results, an instrument design that satisfies special experimental requirements is proposed. The energy resolution and efficiency of the spectrometer are also evaluated. The results indicate that the proposed cMPR spectrometer would achieve a detection efficiency and energy resolution of approximately 10<'-8> and 4%, respectively, for DT neutrons.  相似文献

介绍了一种基于反冲质子法和磁分析技术的氘氚聚变诊断方法, 适用于稳态及脉冲条件下的等离子体温度、燃料密度和中子产额的精确诊断. 设计了小型的原理性装置, 磁分析器使用高性能钕铁硼二极永磁铁, 焦平面上使用CR-39固体径迹探测器或PIN探测器测量质子位置分布. 使用239Pu α 源对磁分析器进行了实验标定, 建立了配套的模拟程序. 利用蒙特卡罗方法模拟分析了装置整体性能, 并在K-400加速器上进行了中子实验研究.  相似文献

A reconstruction algorithm for unfolding neutron energy spectra has been developed, based for the first time on the potential reduction interior point algorithm. This algorithm can be easily applied to neutron energy spectrum reconstruction in the recoil proton method. We transform the neutron energy spectrum unfolding problem into a typical nonnegative linear complementarity problem. The recoil proton energy spectrum and response matrix at angles of 0^o and 30^o are generated by the Geant4 simulation toolkit. Several different neutron energy test spectra are also employed. It is found that this unfolding algorithm is stable and provides efficient, accurate results.  相似文献

The present article describes some experiments with thermal neutrons to investigate a variety of properties of crystals. Elastic scattering of the neutrons, like Bragg scattering of X-rays, helps to determine the atomic structure of crystals, and is particularly useful for locating light atoms, such as hydrogen, where X-rays fail. It also gives information on the arrangement of electron spins and the density distribution of unpaired electrons in magnetic atoms. Measurement of the change in energy of the neutrons in inelastic scattering gives the frequencies of the normal modes of vibration of the crystal, which are related to the interatomic forces. For magnetic crystals, inelastic scattering also gives the frequencies of spin waves, which depend on the magnetic interactions between the atoms. The article concludes with an account of the experimental techniques of thermal neutron scattering.  相似文献

From the analysis of 817 kinematically resonstructed beta decay events of polarized Λ hyperons for the coefficient αν of the neutrino correlation with respect to the Λ spin, αν = 0.89 ± 0.08, for the coefficient αT of the T-odd correlation σΛ(pe × pν), αT = ?0.14 ± 0.13. The interaction of foils lying in a plane during their activation by thermal neutrons has been calculated. Numerical values of functions are listed, which can be used in calculations, especially for graphite. The interaction was measured in the graphite column of the VVR-S reactor.

The polarization of the recoil neutrons from the reaction γp→π+n was measured at a c.m. angle of 105° for incident photon energies between 675 and 1125 MeV. A scattered π+ meson and a recoil neutron were detected in coincidence with a magnetic spectrometer and a neutron polarimeter system using liquid hydrogen. Results are compared with recent phenomenological analyses and the other existing data measured by the double polarization measurement technique.  相似文献

The flash photolysis of ClO2 has yielded a new absorption spectrum of ClO in the vacuum ultraviolet. Six electronic transitions have been assigned and vibrational constants for the upper states are given. All of the transitions are Rydberg in nature. The first four of these transitions are thought to be 2Σ ← X2Πi from which a spin-orbit coupling constant A = ?318 ± 5 cm?1 is obtained for the ground state.Hot bands in three of the above systems of ClO have been observed in absorption. This has enabled the direct measurement of the ground state vibrational constant (ΔG12″ = 845 ± 4 cm?1; ωe″ = 859 cm?1) for the first time.Extinction coefficients for a number of the ClO transitions have been measured.  相似文献

The consequences of taking the total active gravitational mass of the universe phasewise constant together with a decaying vacuum energy in the background of Robertson-Walker space-time are investigated. The model so determined admits a contracted Ricci-collineation along the fluid flow vectorν i. It is geometrically closed but ever-expanding and does not possess the initial singularity, horizon, entropy, monopole or cosmological constant problems of the standard big bang cosmology. Estimates of the present matter; radiation and vacuum energy densities, the age of the universe and the present values of the deceleration parameter and the scale factor are also obtained.  相似文献

Experiments at HERA looking for deep-inelastic electroproduction of neutrons in the proton fragmentation region are in progress. They are aimed to measure the pion structure function at small Bjorken x. The important condition for such a study is to establish under what kinematical conditions the dominance of the pion-pole graph in the process is guaranteed. The absorption spectrum of SiO has been photographed at high resolution in the region 1200–1500 Å. Several new electronic states have been observed, valence states as well as Rydberg states. Tables of the molecular constants of all the known states of SiO are given. Due to interactions between the electronic states, the constants of all states analyzed vary irregularly. From the Rydberg series a value of the ionization potential has been derived. It agrees with the value earlier reported, 11.6 ± 0.2 eV.  相似文献

The diffusion length, diffusion coefficient and mean life time of thermal neutrons in rigid, Czechoslovak made, diphenyl were measured by the impulse method at the temperature 20°C. The experimental results are discussed.
