For a real-valued continuous function f(x) on \([0,\infty )\), we define
$$\begin{aligned} s(x)=\int _{0}^{x} f(u)du\quad \text {and}\quad \sigma _{\alpha } (x)= \int _{0}^{x}\left( 1-\frac{u}{x}\right) ^{\alpha }f(u)du \end{aligned}$$
for \(x>0\). We say that \(\int _{0}^{\infty } f(u)du\) is \((C, \alpha )\) integrable to L for some \(\alpha >-1\) if the limit \(\lim _{x \rightarrow \infty } \sigma _{\alpha } (x)=L\) exists. It is known that \(\lim _{x \rightarrow \infty } s(x) =L\) implies \(\lim _{x \rightarrow \infty }\sigma _{\alpha } (x) =L\) for all \(\alpha >-1\). The aim of this paper is twofold. First, we introduce some new Tauberian conditions for the \((C, \alpha )\) integrability method under which the converse implication is satisfied, and improve classical Tauberian theorems for the \((C,\alpha )\) integrability method. Next we give short proofs of some classical Tauberian theorems as special cases of some of our results.

In this paper we are concerned with the family \(\widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\) (\(t\ge 0\)) of normalized biholomorphic mappings on the Euclidean unit ball \(\mathbb {B}^n\) in \({\mathbb {C}}^n\) that can be embedded in normal Loewner chains whose normalizations are given by time-dependent operators \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\), where \(\widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\) is a family of measurable mappings from \([0,\infty )\) into \(L({\mathbb {C}}^n)\) which satisfy certain natural assumptions. In particular, we consider extreme points and support points associated with the compact family \(\widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\), where \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\). We prove that if \(f(z,t)=V(t)^{-1}z+\cdots \) is a normal Loewner chain such that \(V(s)f(\cdot ,s)\in \mathrm{ex}\,\widetilde{S}^s_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\) (resp. \(V(s)f(\cdot ,s)\in \mathrm{supp}\,\widetilde{S}^s_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\)), then \(V(t)f(\cdot ,t)\in \mathrm{ex}\, \widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\), for all \(t\ge s\) (resp. \(V(t)f(\cdot ,t)\in \mathrm{supp}\,\widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\), for all \(t\ge s\)), where V(t) is the unique solution on \([0,\infty )\) of the initial value problem: \(\frac{d V}{d t}(t)=-A(t)V(t)\), a.e. \(t\ge 0\), \(V(0)=I_n\). Also, we obtain an example of a bounded support point for the family \(\widetilde{S}_A^t(\mathbb {B}^2)\), where \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\) is a certain time-dependent operator. We also consider the notion of a reachable family with respect to time-dependent linear operators \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\), and obtain characterizations of extreme/support points associated with these families of bounded biholomorphic mappings on \(\mathbb {B}^n\). Useful examples and applications yield that the study of the family \(\widetilde{S}^t_A(\mathbb {B}^n)\) for time-dependent operators \(A\in \widetilde{\mathcal {A}}\) is basically different from that in the case of constant time-dependent linear operators.  相似文献

In this paper, we study \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over the ring \(R=\mathbb {Z}_4+u\mathbb {Z}_4\) where \(u^{2}=1\), for \(\lambda =3+2u\) and \(2+3u\). Two new Gray maps from R to \(\mathbb {Z}_4^{3}\) are defined with the goal of obtaining new linear codes over \(\mathbb {Z}_4\). The Gray images of \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over R are determined. We then conducted a computer search and obtained many \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over R whose \(\mathbb {Z}_4\)-images have better parameters than currently best-known linear codes over \(\mathbb {Z}_4\).  相似文献

Given a Cantor-type subset \(\Omega \) of a smooth curve in \(\mathbb R^{d+1}\), we construct examples of sets that contain unit line segments with directions from \(\Omega \) and exhibit analytical features similar to those of classical Kakeya sets of arbitrarily small \((d+1)\)-dimensional Lebesgue measure. The construction is based on probabilistic methods relying on the tree structure of \(\Omega \), and extends to higher dimensions an analogous planar result of Bateman and Katz (Math Res Lett 15(1):73–81, 2008). In contrast to the planar situation, a significant aspect of our analysis is the classification of intersecting tube tuples relative to their location, and the deduction of intersection probabilities of such tubes generated by a random mechanism. The existence of these Kakeya-type sets implies that the directional maximal operator associated with the direction set \(\Omega \) is unbounded on \(L^p(\mathbb {R}^{d+1})\) for all \(1\le p<\infty \).  相似文献

Let p(n) denote the partition function and let \(\Delta \) be the difference operator with respect to n. In this paper, we obtain a lower bound for \(\Delta ^2\log \root n-1 \of {p(n-1)/(n-1)}\), leading to a proof of a conjecture of Sun on the log-convexity of \(\{\root n \of {p(n)/n}\}_{n\ge 60}\). Using the same argument, it can be shown that for any real number \(\alpha \), there exists an integer \(n(\alpha )\) such that the sequence \(\{\root n \of {p(n)/n^{\alpha }}\}_{n\ge n(\alpha )}\) is log-convex. Moreover, we show that \(\lim \limits _{n \rightarrow +\infty }n^{\frac{5}{2}}\Delta ^2\log \root n \of {p(n)}=3\pi /\sqrt{24}\). Finally, by finding an upper bound for \(\Delta ^2 \log \root n-1 \of {p(n-1)}\), we establish an inequality on the ratio \(\frac{\root n-1 \of {p(n-1)}}{\root n \of {p(n)}}\).  相似文献

We prove that for each prime p, positive integer \(\alpha \), and non-negative integers \(\beta \) and \(\gamma \), the Diophantine equation \(X^{2N} + 2^{2\alpha }5^{2\beta }{p}^{2\gamma } = Z^5\) has no solution with N, X, \(Z\in \mathbb {Z}^+\), \(N > 1\), and \(\gcd (X,Z) = 1\).  相似文献

Let \(\Omega \) be a bounded, uniformly totally pseudoconvex domain in \(\mathbb {C}^2\) with smooth boundary \(b\Omega \). Assume that \(\Omega \) is a domain admitting a maximal type F. Here, the condition maximal type F generalizes the condition of finite type in the sense of Range (Pac J Math 78(1):173–189, 1978; Scoula Norm Sup Pisa, pp 247–267, 1978) and includes many cases of infinite type. Let \(\alpha \) be a d-closed (1, 1)-form in \(\Omega \). We study the Poincaré–Lelong equation
$$\begin{aligned} i\partial \bar{\partial }u=\alpha \quad \text {on}\, \Omega \end{aligned}$$
in \(L^1(b\Omega )\) norm by applying the \(L^1(b\Omega )\) estimates for \(\bar{\partial }_b\)-equations in [11]. Then, we also obtain a prescribing zero set of Nevanlinna holomorphic functions in \(\Omega \).

We prove that the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes is exactly the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes with automorphism group of even order. Using this characterization, we give examples of known codes, e.g. perfect codes, which have a nontrivial \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\) structure. Moreover, we exhibit some examples of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes which are not \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear. Also, we state that the duality of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes is the same as the duality of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes. Finally, we prove that the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_4\)-linear codes which are also \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear is strictly contained in the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes.  相似文献

We propose a polynomial time f-algorithm (a deterministic algorithm which uses an oracle for factoring univariate polynomials over \(\mathbb {F}_q\)) for computing an isomorphism (if there is any) of a finite-dimensional \(\mathbb {F}_q(x)\)-algebra \(\mathcal{A}\) given by structure constants with the algebra of n by n matrices with entries from \(\mathbb {F}_q(x)\). The method is based on computing a finite \(\mathbb {F}_q\)-subalgebra of \(\mathcal{A}\) which is the intersection of a maximal \(\mathbb {F}_q[x]\)-order and a maximal R-order, where R is the subring of \(\mathbb {F}_q(x)\) consisting of fractions of polynomials with denominator having degree not less than that of the numerator.  相似文献

Let G be a Polish locally compact group acting on a Polish space \({{X}}\) with a G-invariant probability measure \(\mu \). We factorize the integral with respect to \(\mu \) in terms of the integrals with respect to the ergodic measures on X, and show that \(\mathrm {L}^{p}({{X}},\mu )\) (\(1\le p<\infty \)) is G-equivariantly isometrically lattice isomorphic to an \({\mathrm {L}^p}\)-direct integral of the spaces \(\mathrm {L}^{p}({{X}},\lambda )\), where \(\lambda \) ranges over the ergodic measures on X. This yields a disintegration of the canonical representation of G as isometric lattice automorphisms of \(\mathrm {L}^{p}({{X}},\mu )\) as an \({\mathrm {L}^p}\)-direct integral of order indecomposable representations. If \(({{X}}^\prime ,\mu ^\prime )\) is a probability space, and, for some \(1\le q<\infty \), G acts in a strongly continuous manner on \(\mathrm {L}^{q}({{X}}^\prime ,\mu ^\prime )\) as isometric lattice automorphisms that leave the constants fixed, then G acts on \(\mathrm {L}^{p}({{X}}^{\prime },\mu ^{\prime })\) in a similar fashion for all \(1\le p<\infty \). Moreover, there exists an alternative model in which these representations originate from a continuous action of G on a compact Hausdorff space. If \(({{X}}^\prime ,\mu ^\prime )\) is separable, the representation of G on \(\mathrm {L}^p(X^\prime ,\mu ^\prime )\) can then be disintegrated into order indecomposable representations. The notions of \({\mathrm {L}^p}\)-direct integrals of Banach spaces and representations that are developed extend those in the literature.  相似文献

The first main theorem of this paper asserts that any \((\sigma , \tau )\)-derivation d, under certain conditions, either is a \(\sigma \)-derivation or is a scalar multiple of (\(\sigma - \tau \)), i.e. \(d = \lambda (\sigma - \tau )\) for some \(\lambda \in \mathbb {C} \backslash \{0\}\). By using this characterization, we achieve a result concerning the automatic continuity of \((\sigma , \tau \))-derivations on Banach algebras which reads as follows. Let \(\mathcal {A}\) be a unital, commutative, semi-simple Banach algebra, and let \(\sigma , \tau : \mathcal {A} \rightarrow \mathcal {A}\) be two distinct endomorphisms such that \(\varphi \sigma (\mathbf e )\) and \(\varphi \tau (\mathbf e )\) are non-zero complex numbers for all \(\varphi \in \Phi _\mathcal {A}\). If \(d : \mathcal {A} \rightarrow \mathcal {A}\) is a \((\sigma , \tau )\)-derivation such that \(\varphi d\) is a non-zero linear functional for every \(\varphi \in \Phi _\mathcal {A}\), then d is automatically continuous. As another objective of this research, we prove that if \(\mathfrak {M}\) is a commutative von Neumann algebra and \(\sigma :\mathfrak {M} \rightarrow \mathfrak {M}\) is an endomorphism, then every Jordan \(\sigma \)-derivation \(d:\mathfrak {M} \rightarrow \mathfrak {M}\) is identically zero.  相似文献

In this paper we study Willmore Legendrian surfaces (that is Legendrian surfaces which are critical points of the Willmore functional). We use an equality proved in Luo (arXiv:1211.4227v6) to get a relation between Willmore Legendrian surfaces and contact stationary Legendrian surfaces in \(\mathbb {S}^5\), and then we use this relation to prove a classification result for Willmore Legendrian spheres in \(\mathbb {S}^5\). We also get an integral inequality for Willmore Legendrian surfaces and in particular we prove that if the square length of the second fundamental form of a Willmore Legendrian surface in \(\mathbb {S}^5\) belongs to [0, 2], then it must be 0 and L is totally geodesic or 2 and L is a flat minimal Legendrian tori, which generalizes the result of Yamaguchi et al. (Proc Am Math Soc 54:276–280, 1976). We also study variation of the Willmore functional among Legendrian surfaces in 5-dimensional Sasakian manifolds. Let \(\Sigma \) be a closed surface and \((M,\alpha ,g_\alpha ,J)\) a 5-dimensional Sasakian manifold with a contact form \(\alpha \), an associated metric \(g_\alpha \) and an almost complex structure J. Assume that \(f:\Sigma \mapsto M\) is a Legendrian immersion. Then f is called a contact stationary Legendrian Willmore surface (in short, a csL Willmore surface) if it is a critical point of the Willmore functional under contact deformations. To investigate the existence of csL Willmore surfaces we introduce a higher order flow which preserves the Legendre condition and decreases the Willmore energy. As a first step we prove that this flow is well posed if \((M,\alpha ,g_\alpha ,J)\) is a Sasakian Einstein manifold, in particular \(\mathbb {S}^5\).  相似文献

In this article we construct link invariants and 3-manifold invariants from the quantum group associated with the Lie superalgebra \(\mathfrak {sl}(2|1)\). The construction is based on nilpotent irreducible finite dimensional representations of quantum group \(\mathcal {U}_{\xi }\mathfrak {sl}(2|1)\) where \(\xi \) is a root of unity of odd order. These constructions use the notion of modified trace and relative \( G \)-modular category of previous authors.  相似文献

The \(\sigma \)-polynomial is given by \(\sigma (G,x) = \sum _{i=\chi (G)}^{n} a_{i}(G)\, x^{i}\), where \(a_{i}(G)\) is the number of partitions of the vertices of G into i nonempty independent sets. These polynomials are closely related to chromatic polynomials, as the chromatic polynomial of G is given by \(\sum _{i=\chi (G)}^{n} a_{i}(G)\, x(x-1) \ldots (x-(i-1))\). It is known that the closure of the real roots of chromatic polynomials is precisely \(\{0,~1\} \bigcup [32/27,\infty )\), with \((-\infty ,0)\), (0, 1) and (1, 32 / 27) being maximal zero-free intervals for roots of chromatic polynomials. We ask here whether such maximal zero-free intervals exist for \(\sigma \)-polynomials, and show that the only such interval is \([0,\infty )\)—that is, the closure of the real roots of \(\sigma \)-polynomials is \((-\infty ,0]\).  相似文献

Let \(\omega \) be an unbounded radial weight on \(\mathbb {C}^d\), \(d\ge 1\). Using results related to approximation of \(\omega \) by entire maps, we investigate Volterra type and weighted composition operators defined on the growth space \(\mathcal {A}^\omega (\mathbb {C}^d)\). Special attention is given to the operators defined on the growth Fock spaces.  相似文献

We determine the possible homogeneous weights of regular projective two-weight codes over \(\mathbb {Z}_{2^k}\) of length \(n>3\), with dual Krotov distance \(d^{\lozenge }\) at least four. The determination of the weights is based on parameter restrictions for strongly regular graphs applied to the coset graph of the dual code. When \(k=2\), we characterize the parameters of such codes as those of the inverse Gray images of \(\mathbb {Z}_4\)-linear Hadamard codes, which have been characterized by their types by several authors.  相似文献

Let F be an \(L^2\)-normalized Hecke Maaß cusp form for \(\Gamma _0(N) \subseteq {\mathrm{SL}}_{n}({\mathbb {Z}})\) with Laplace eigenvalue \(\lambda _F\). If \(\Omega \) is a compact subset of \(\Gamma _0(N)\backslash {\mathrm{PGL}}_n/\mathrm{PO}_{n}\), we show the bound \(\Vert F|_{\Omega }\Vert _{\infty } \ll _{ \Omega } N^{\varepsilon } \lambda _F^{n(n-1)/8 - \delta }\) for some constant \(\delta = \delta _n> 0\) depending only on n.  相似文献

We consider the problem of interpolating a holomorphic family of nondegenerate holomorphic jets on \(\mathbb {C}^n\) for \(n>1\), parametrized by points in a Stein manifold, by a holomorphic family of automorphisms of \(\mathbb {C}^n\). We show that under a suitable topological condition it is possible to find a solution, thereby generalizing results of Forstneri? and Varolin concerning the nonparametric jet interpolation by automorphisms.  相似文献

Let A and B be two points of \(\mathop {\mathrm{PG}}(d,q^n)\) and let \(\Phi \) be a collineation between the stars of lines with vertices A and B, that does not map the line AB into itself. In this paper we prove that if \(d=2\) or \(d\ge 3\) and the lines \(\Phi ^{-1}(AB), AB, \Phi (AB) \) are not in a common plane, then the set \(\mathcal{C}\) of points of intersection of corresponding lines under \(\Phi \) is the union of \(q-1\) scattered \({\mathbb {F}}_{q}\)-linear sets of rank n together with \(\{A,B\}\). As an application we will construct, starting from the set \(\mathcal{C}\), infinite families of non-linear \((d+1, n, q;d-1)\)-MRD codes, \(d\le n-1\), generalizing those recently constructed in Cossidente et al. (Des Codes Cryptogr 79:597–609, 2016) and Durante and Siciliano (Electron J Comb, 2017).  相似文献

Let \(X=G/K\) be a symmetric space of noncompact type and rank \(k\ge 2\). We prove that horospheres in X are Lipschitz \((k-2)\)-connected if their centers are not contained in a proper join factor of the spherical building of X at infinity. As a consequence, the distortion dimension of an irreducible \(\mathbb {Q}\)-rank-1 lattice \(\Gamma \) in a linear, semisimple Lie group G of \(\mathbb R\)-rank k is \(k-1\). That is, given \(m< k-1\), a Lipschitz m-sphere S in (a polyhedral complex quasi-isometric to) \(\Gamma \), and a \((m+1)\)-ball B in X (or G) filling S, there is a \((m+1)\)-ball \(B'\) in \(\Gamma \) filling S such that \({{\mathrm{vol}}}B'\sim {{\mathrm{vol}}}B\). In particular, such arithmetic lattices satisfy Euclidean isoperimetric inequalities up to dimension \(k-1\).  相似文献
