In this paper we study a nonlocal problem for a mixed-type equation in a domain whose elliptic part is the first quadrant of the plane and the hyperbolic part is the characteristic triangle. With the help of the method of integral equations and the principle of extremum we prove the unique solvability of the considered problem.  相似文献

We study a boundary-value problem for a hyperbolic equation with a nonlocal with respect to time-variable integral condition. We obtain sufficient conditions for unique solvability of the nonlocal problem. The proof is based on reduction of the nonlocal first-type condition to the second-type one. This allows to reduce the nonlocal problem to an operator equation. We show that unique solvability of the operator equation implies the existence of a unique solution to the problem.  相似文献

In the characteristic triangle for a hyperbolic equation of the second kind we study a nonlocal problem, where the boundary value condition contains a linear combination of Riemann–Liouville fractional integro-differentiation operators. We establish variation intervals of orders of fractional integro-differentiation operators, taking into account parameters of the considered equation with which the mentioned problem has either a unique solution or more than one solution.  相似文献

We consider a generalized Tricomi equation with a singular coefficient. For this equation in a mixed domain we study the corresponding problem in the case, when a part of the boundary characteristic is free of boundary conditions; the deficient Tricomi condition is equivalently substituted by a nonlocal Frankl condition on a segment of the degeneration line. We prove that the stated problem is well-posed.  相似文献

We consider a nonlocal boundary value problem for a system of hyperbolic equations with two independent variables with data on intersecting lines one of which is a characteristic. In terms of the data of the nonlocal boundary value problem, we obtain sufficient coefficient conditions for its unique solvability.  相似文献

We consider a problem for a quasilinear hyperbolic equation with a nonlocal condition that contains a retarded argument. By reducing this problem to a nonlinear integrofunctional equation, we prove the existence and uniqueness theorem for its solution. We pose an inverse problem of finding a solution-dependent coefficient of the equation on the basis of additional information on the solution; the information is given at a fixed point in space and is a function of time. We prove the uniqueness theorem for the solution of the inverse problem. The proof is based on the derivation and analysis of an integro-functional equation for the difference of two solutions of the inverse problem.  相似文献

For the hyperbolic equation with Bessel operator, we study the initial boundaryvalue problem with integral nonlocal condition of the second kind in a rectangular domain. The integral identity method is used to prove the uniqueness of the solution to the posed problem. The solution is constructed as a Fourier–Bessel series. To justify the existence of the solution to the nonlocal problem, we obtain sufficient conditions to be imposed on the initial conditions to ensure the convergence of the constructed series in the class of regular solutions.  相似文献

In this article, the Ritz‐Galerkin method in Bernstein polynomial basis is implemented to give an approximate solution of a hyperbolic partial differential equation with an integral condition. We will deal here with a type of nonlocal boundary value problem, that is, the solution of a hyperbolic partial differential equation with a nonlocal boundary specification. The nonlocal conditions arise mainly when the data on the boundary cannot be measured directly. The properties of Bernstein polynomial and Ritz‐Galerkin method are first presented, then Ritz‐Galerkin method is used to reduce the given hyperbolic partial differential equation to the solution of algebraic equations. Illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the technique presented in this article. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The author proves the existence and uniqueness of a generalized solution of a nonlocal problem with an integral condition for a hyperbolic equation with n spatial variables. This work is a continuation of the studies started in [3–5], where the solvability problem of nonlocal problems with an integral condition was studied for hyperbolic equations on the plane. __________ Translated from Sovremennaya Matematika i Ee Prilozheniya (Contemporary Mathematics and Its Applications), Vol. 33, Suzdal Conference-2004, Part 1, 2005.  相似文献

We are dealing with a two-component system of reaction-diffusion equations with conservation of a mass in a bounded domain subject to the Neumann or the periodic boundary conditions. We consider the case that the conserved system is transformed into a phase-field type system. Then the stationary problem is reduced to that of a scalar reaction-diffusion equation with a nonlocal term. We study the linearized eigenvalue problem of an equilibrium solution to the system, and compare the eigenvalues with ones of the linearized problem arising from the scalar nonlocal equation in terms of the Rayleigh quotient. The main theorem tells that the number of negative eigenvalues of those problems coincide. Hence, a stability result for nonconstant solutions of the scalar nonlocal reaction-diffusion equation is applicable to the system.  相似文献

Numerical solution of hyperbolic partial differential equation with an integral condition continues to be a major research area with widespread applications in modern physics and technology. Many physical phenomena are modeled by nonclassical hyperbolic boundary value problems with nonlocal boundary conditions. In place of the classical specification of boundary data, we impose a nonlocal boundary condition. Partial differential equations with nonlocal boundary specifications have received much attention in last 20 years. However, most of the articles were directed to the second‐order parabolic equation, particularly to heat conduction equation. We will deal here with new type of nonlocal boundary value problem that is the solution of hyperbolic partial differential equations with nonlocal boundary specifications. These nonlocal conditions arise mainly when the data on the boundary can not be measured directly. Several finite difference methods have been proposed for the numerical solution of this one‐dimensional nonclassic boundary value problem. These computational techniques are compared using the largest error terms in the resulting modified equivalent partial differential equation. Numerical results supporting theoretical expectations are given. Restrictions on using higher order computational techniques for the studied problem are discussed. Suitable references on various physical applications and the theoretical aspects of solutions are introduced at the end of this article. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We consider a nonlocal problem with integral conditions for a system of hyperbolic equations in rectangular domain. We investigate the questions of existence of unique classical solution to the problemunder consideration and approaches of its construction. Sufficient conditions of unique solvability to the investigated problem are established in the terms of initial data. The nonlocal problem with integral conditions is reduced to an equivalent problem consisting of the Goursat problem for the system of hyperbolic equations with functional parameters and functional relations. We propose algorithms for finding a solution to the equivalent problem with functional parameters on the characteristics and prove their convergence. We also obtain the conditions of unique solvability to the auxiliary boundary-value problem with an integral condition for the system of ordinary differential equations. As an example, we consider the nonlocal boundary-value problem with integral conditions for a two-dimensional system of hyperbolic equations.  相似文献

A nonlocal boundary value problem for a third-order hyperbolic equation with variable coefficients is considered in the one- and multidimensional cases. A priori estimates for the nonlocal problem are obtained in the differential and difference formulations. The estimates imply the stability of the solution with respect to the initial data and the right-hand side on a layer and the convergence of the difference solution to the solution of the differential problem.  相似文献

For an equation of mixed type in a rectangular domain, we use spectral analysis to establish a uniqueness criterion for the solution of a problem with a nonlocal condition relating the values of the unknown solution that belong to different types of the considered equation. We prove the stability of the solution with respect to the nonlocal condition.  相似文献

We study a nonlocal boundary-value problem for a degenerate hyperbolic equation. We prove that this problem is uniquely solvable if Volterra integral equations of the second kind are solvable with various values of parameters and a generalized fractional integro-differential operator with a hypergeometric Gaussian function in the kernel.  相似文献

Under consideration is some problem for inhomogeneous differential evolution equation in Banach space with an operator that generates a C 0-continuous semigroup and a nonlocal integral condition in the sense of Stieltjes. In case the operator has continuous inhomogeneity in the graph norm. We give the necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of a generalized solution for the problem of whether the nonlocal data belong to the generator domain. Estimates on solution stability are given, and some conditions are obtained for existence of the classical solution of the nonlocal problem. All results are extended to a Sobolev-type linear equation, the equation in Banach space with a degenerate operator at the derivative. The time nonlocal problem for the partial differential equation, modeling a filtrating liquid free surface, illustrates the general statements.  相似文献

In this paper, the initial-value problem for integral-differential equation of the hyperbolic type in a Hilbert space H is considered. The unique solvability of this problem is established. The stability estimates for the solution of this problem are obtained. The difference scheme approximately solving this problem is presented. The stability estimates for the solution of this difference scheme are obtained. In applications, the stability estimates for the solutions of the nonlocal boundary problem for one-dimensional integral-differential equation of the hyperbolic type with two dependent limits and of the local boundary problem for multidimensional integral-differential equation of the hyperbolic type with two dependent limits are obtained. The difference schemes for solving these two problems are presented. The stability estimates for the solutions of these difference schemes are obtained.  相似文献
