A series of azo-metal chelate dyes have been synthesized by coupling substituted o-nitroaniline and p-t-/s-butylphenol. The spectral characterization of the azo dyes containing o-hydroxy group and azo-metal(II) chelate [metal(II): Cu, Ni, Co] dyes by IR spectra, UV–VIS spectra, NMR spectra, elemental analysis and magnetic susceptibility techniques are reported. The stoichiometry of the azo-metal chelates was determined by the spectroscopic titration method to be 1:2 (ML2).  相似文献

A series of salicylaldimine‐based neutral Ni(II) complexes (3a–j) [ArN = CH(C6H4O)]Ni(PPh3)Ph [3a, Ar = C6H5; 3b, Ar = C6H4F(o); 3c, Ar = C6H4F(m); 3d, Ar = C6H4F(p); 3e, Ar = C6H3F2(2,4); 3f, Ar = C6H3F2(2,5); 3g, Ar = C6H3F2(2,6); 3h, Ar = C6H3F2(3,5); 3i, Ar = C6H2F3(3,4,5); 3j, Ar = C6F5] have been synthesized in good yield, and the structures of complexes 3a and 3i have been confirmed by X‐ray crystallographic analysis. Using modified methylaluminoxane as a cocatalyst, these neutral Ni(II) complexes exhibited high catalytic activities for the vinylic polymerization of norbornene. It was observed that the strong electron‐withdrawing effect of the fluorinated salicylaldiminato ligand was able to significantly increase the catalyst activity for vinylic polymerization of norbornenes. In addition, catalyst activity, polymer yield and polymer molecular weight can also be controlled over a wide range by the variation of reaction parameters such as Al:Ni ratio, norbornene:catalyst ratio, monomer concentration, polymerization temperature and time. Several new trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazoles were prepared by reaction of hydrazine monohydrate with 1,3-diketones. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and EI-MS spectroscopy. The anti-microbial activities of the newly synthesized compounds were examined by disc diffusion method against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pyricularia oryzae and Rhizoctnia solani. All the trifluoromethyl-1H-pyrazoles exhibited a certain degree of anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities.  相似文献

A series of anilinonaphthoquinone-based nickel complexes, Ni(C10H5O2NAr)(Ph)(PPh3) (Ar = C6H3-2,6-Me (1c); Ar = C6H2-2,4,6-Me (2c); Ar = C6H3-2,6-Et (3c)), were synthesized and the structures of 1c-3c were confirmed by single crystal X-ray analyses. The anilinonaphthoquinone-ligated nickel complexes activated with B(C6F5)3 showed high activities for ethylene polymerization at 40 °C under atmospheric pressure of ethylene and gave polyethylene with long chain branches and short chain branches. The activity of these systems was decreased by lowering polymerization temperature accompanied by increase in molecular weight. The number of the chain branches was also decreased with lowering polymerization temperature and increasing the bulkiness of the ligand.  相似文献

The Ni amide and hydroxide complexes [(PCP)Ni(NH(2))] (2; PCP=bis-2,6-di-tert-butylphosphinomethylbenzene) and [(PCP)Ni(OH)] (3) were prepared by treatment of [(PCP)NiCl] (1) with NaNH(2) or NaOH, respectively. The conditions for the formation of 3 from 1 and NaOH were harsh (2 weeks in THF at reflux) and a more facile synthetic route involved protonation of 2 with H(2)O, to generate 3 and ammonia. Similarly the basic amide in 2 was protonated with a variety of other weak acids to form the complexes [(PCP)Ni(2-Me-imidazole)] (4), [(PCP)Ni(dimethylmalonate)] (5), [(PCP)Ni(oxazole)] (6), and [(PCP)Ni(CCPh)] (7), respectively. The hydroxide compound 3, could also be used as a Ni precursor and treatment of 3 with TMSCN (TMS=trimethylsilyl) or TMSN(3) generated [(PCP)Ni(CN)] (8) or [(PCP)Ni(N(3))] (9), respectively. Compounds 3-7, and 9 were characterized by X-ray crystallography. Although 3, 4, 6, 7, and 9 are all four-coordinate complexes with a square-planar geometry around Ni, 5 is a pseudo-five-coordinate complex, with the dimethylmalonate ligand coordinated in an X-type fashion through one oxygen atom, and weakly as an L-type ligand through another oxygen atom. Complexes 2-9 were all reacted with carbon dioxide. Compounds 2-4 underwent facile reaction at low temperature to form the κ(1)-O carboxylate products [(PCP)Ni{OC(O)NH(2)}] (10), [(PCP)Ni{OC(O)OH}] (11), and [(PCP)Ni{OC(O)-2-Me-imidazole}] (12), respectively. Compounds 10 and 11 were characterized by X-ray crystallography. No reaction was observed between 5-9 and carbon dioxide, even at elevated temperatures. DFT calculations were performed to model the thermodynamics for the insertion of carbon dioxide into 2-9 to form a κ(1)-O carboxylate product and understand the pathways for carbon dioxide insertion into 2, 3, 6, and 7. The computed free energies indicate that carbon dioxide insertion into 2 and 3 is thermodynamically favorable, insertion into 8 and 9 is significantly uphill, insertion into 5 and 7 is slightly uphill, and insertion into 4 and 6 is close to thermoneutral. The pathway for insertion into 2 and 3 has a low barrier and involves nucleophilic attack of the nitrogen or oxygen lone pair on electrophilic carbon dioxide. A related stepwise pathway is calculated for 7, but in this case the carbon of the alkyne is significantly less nucleophilic and as a result, the barrier for carbon dioxide insertion is high. In contrast, carbon dioxide insertion into 6 involves a single concerted step that has a high barrier.  相似文献

The starting point of the research was the reaction of chloroacetyl chloride with biphenyl in the presence of aluminum chloride. 4-Biphenylhydroximoyl chloride (HL) was obtained by reacting synthesized 4-(chloroacetyl)biphenyl with alkyl nitride. Four new substituted 4-(alkylaminoisonitrosoacetyl)biphenyles (ketooximes) were prepared by reacting 4-biphenylhydroximoyl chloride with corresponding amines in EtOH. The following amines were used for ligands: p-toluidine, p-chloroaniline, pyrrolidine, and 4-aminoacetophenone. Mononuclear complexes with a metal-ligand ratio of 1: 2 were prepared using cadmium(II), cobalt(II), copper(II), nickel(II), lead(II), and zinc(II) salts. These compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, AAS, infrared spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The ligands have been further characterized by 1H NMR. The results suggest that the ketooximes act as bidentate ligands which bond metal ions through the oxime and carbonyl oxygen. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

Prophane sulfonic acid hydrazide (psh: CH(3)CH(2)CH(2)SO(2)NHNH(2)) derivatives as salicylaldehydeprophanesulfonylhydrazone (salpsh), 5-methylsalicylaldehydeprophanesulfonylhydrazone (5-msalpsh), 2-hydroxyacetophenoneprophanesulfonylhydrazone (afpsh), 5-methyl-2-hydroxyacetophenoneprophanesulfonylhydrazone (5-mafpsh) and their Ni(II) complexes have been synthesized. The structure of these compounds has been investigated by using elemental analysis, FTIR, (1)H NMR, LC/MS, UV-vis spectrophotometric method, magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. The complexes were found to have general compositions [NiL2]. Square-planer structures are proposed for the Ni(II) complexes on the basis of magnetic evidence, electronic spectra and TGA data. Bacterial activities of sulfonyl hydrazone compounds were studied against gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus magaterium and gram-negative bacteria: Salmonella enteritidis, Escherichia coli by using minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) method.  相似文献

Three new lariat dilactam host molecules were prepared by the reaction of triethyleneglycol dicarboxylic acid dichloride withN,N-disubstitutèd-4,7-dioxa-1,10-diazadecane precursors. The amide nitrogen pivot of such compounds are substituted with the benzyl, octyl and dodecyl groups. The complexing ability of these dilactams is displayed with a series of metal complexes of Na+, K+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Pb2+ and Ag+ ions. The reaction between acetoacetanilide and aromatic aldehydes (2,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde, veratraldehyde and piperonal) under specified conditions yielded two types of conjugated ketoanilides in which the keto-groups are attached to olefinic linkages. The existence of these compounds predominantly in the intramolecularly hydrogen-bonded enol form has been well demonstrated from their IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectral data. Details on the formation of their complexes with Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) and their nature of bonding are discussed on the basis of analytical, IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectral data. We present a comparative study of various metallomesogenic complexes, using X-ray diffraction methods. For a given ligand linked to different metal atoms (Cu, Ni, VO), the nature of this central atom influences mainly the magnetic susceptibilities of the mesophases. With different ligands, which keep the close neighbourhood of the metal atom unchanged, the apparent length of the mesogenic unit is longer for short ligands than for longer ones. This unexpected behaviour is qualitatively well explained by taking into account the global shape of the different complexes.  相似文献

An efficient methodology for the synthesis of 6-styrenylpyrone in a four-step sequence is reported. The reactions were performed under catalyst-free conditions with mild and affordable reagents to produce 5,6-dehydrokawain and fluorinated derivatives in good to excellent overall yields (72–86%) on a multigram scale. Synthesis and characterization of [o-carboxy phenylazo] moiety of barbituric acid, thiobarbituric acid, thiouracil, citrazinic acid, and disodium chromotropate and their complexes derived from cobalt (II), nickel (II), and copper (II) salts were done. The stereochemistry and the mode of bonding of the complexes were achieved based on elemental analysis, NMR, UV-Vis, IR and ESR. Reactions of perfluoroalkylcopper compounds with α-ketoacyl chlorides were used for the synthesis of fluorinated α-diketones. Heptafluoropropylcopper prepared from copper bronze and 1-iodoheptafluoropropane reacted with benzoylformyl chloride to give heptafluoro-1-phenyl-1,2-pentanedione, with trimethylpyruvyl chloride to give 2,2-dimethyl-5,5,6,6,7,7,7-heptafluoro-3,4-heptanedione, and with 3,3,4,4,5,5,5-heptafluoro-2-ketopentanoyl chloride or oxalyl chloride to give tetradecafluoro-4,5-octanedione. Syntheses of fluorinated acetylenes, cyanohydrins, α-hydroxy acids, α-keto acids, their chlorides, and other intermediates for the syntheses of α-diketones by the above route and by other methods are described. An interesting seven-membered ring containing β-hydroxy ketone was obtained by an intramolecular aldol condensation of a fluorinated bis(methyl) ketone.  相似文献

Potential biologically active derivatives of arylhydrazotriazole (3al) were prepared by the condensation reaction of diazonium salts using various aromatic amines (1al) and 1-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl) ethanones (2). The synthesized products were obtained in 75–85% yield. All the synthesized products were having good-excellent antifungal activity as compared with standard (Fluconazole and Ketoconazole) drugs.  相似文献

A series of new nickel complexes bearing benzoxazolylpyridines was synthesized and characterized by FT-IR spectroscopic and elemental analysis. The molecular structures of two representative complexes were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex [NiCl2[2-(2-benzoxazolyl)-6-methylpyridine]] (5) is a centrosymmetric dinuclear compound with two penta-coordinated Ni(II) centers, whereas the complex [NiCl2[2-(5-methyl-2-benzoxazolyl)-6-methylpyridine}] (6) is mononuclear exhibiting a distorted octahedral-coordination geometry around the nickel atom. Upon activation with diethylaluminium chloride (Et2AlCl), all the complexes exhibited moderate to good catalytic activity for ethylene oligomerization (27-415 g mmol(-1)(Ni) h(-1) bar(-1)) with high selectivity for ethylene dimerization to form alpha-butene. The observed variance in the catalytic activities of the complexes is attributed to the different ligand environments and effects of reaction parameters.  相似文献
