The spectra of the title species are investigated at wavelengths near the C2π ← X2π1/2 transition of nitric oxide by mass-resolved multiphoton ionization (MPI) spectroscopy.

clearly shows the HF subunit to undergo wide amplitude bending motion even in the zero-point vibrational state.     

ChemInform Abstract: Matrix IR Investigations of Molecular SPBr.

SPBr, generated according to the scheme, is cocondensated with excess argon at 15 K. In the matrix IR spectrum the two stretching vibrations and the overtone of the bending mode are observed.     

ChemInform Abstract: Matrix Isolation and Mass Spectrometric Studies on Selenium Trioxide Vapour: The Characterisation of Monomeric SeO3.

(SeO₃)₄ is shown to be the major species in the vapour above heated selenium trioxide, while above mixtures of H2SeO4/P2O5 significant portions of monomeric SeO₃ are observed.
