The paper deals with the two-dimensional exterior boundary value problems of the steady-state oscillation theory for anisotropic elastic bodies. By means of the limiting absorption principle the fundamental matrix of the oscillation equations is constructed and the generalized radiation conditions of Sommerfeld-Kupradze type are established. For an ordinary linear second-order differential equation with degenerating coefficient of the higher derivative, we obtain exact asymptotic representations of solutions near the degeneration point, which are convergent uniformly and absolutely in some neighborhood of that point. The results permit one to obtain well-posed statements of initial and boundary value problems for degenerating equations and establish oscillation properties of solutions.  相似文献

We show how infinite horizon stochastic optimal control problems can be solved via studying their finite horizon approximations. This often leads to analytical solutions for the infinite horizon problem by studying phase diagrams, even in cases where the complexity of the finite horizon case does not permit analytic solutions. Our approach can be applied to many problems in dynamic economics.  相似文献

Three-dimensional mathematical problems of the elasticity theory of anisotropic piecewise homogeneous bodies are discussed. A mixed type boundary contact problem is considered where, on one part of the interface, rigid contact conditions are give (jumps of the displacement and the stress vectors are known), while on the remaining part screen or crack type boundary conditions are imposed. The investigation is carried out by means of the potential method and the theory of pseudodifferential equations on manifolds with boundary.  相似文献

The three-dimensional problems of the mathematical theory of thermoelasticity are considered for homogeneous anisotropic bodies with cuts. It is assumed that the two-dimensional surface of a cut is a smooth manifold of an arbitrary configuration with a smooth boundary. The existence and uniqueness theorems for boundary value problems of statics and pseudo-oscillations are proved in the Besov ( ) and Bessel-potential ( ) spaces by means of the classical potential methods and the theory of pseudodifferential equations on manifolds with boundary. Using the embedding theorems, it is proved that the solutions of the considered problems are Hölder continuous. It is shown that the displacement vector and the temperature distribution function areC -regular with any exponent <1/2.This paper consists of two parts. In this part all the principal results are formulated. The forthcoming second part will deal with the auxiliary results and proofs.  相似文献

A residue based reliable and efficient error estimator is established for finite element solutions of mixed boundary value problems in linear, planar elasticity. The proof of the reliability of the estimator is based on Helmholtz type decompositions of the error in the stress variable and a duality argument for the error in the displacements. The efficiency follows from inverse estimates. The constants in both estimates are independent of the Lamé constant , and so locking phenomena for are properly indicated. The analysis justifies a new adaptive algorithm for automatic mesh–refinement. Received July 17, 1997  相似文献

A singularly perturbed boundary value problem for a second-order quasilinear ordinary differential equation is studied. We consider a new class of problems in which the nonlinearities experience discontinuities, which leads to the appearance of sharp transition layers in a neighborhood of the points of discontinuity. The existence of solutions is proved, and their asymptotic expansion with an internal transition layer is constructed.  相似文献

One-dimensional cutting stock problem (1D-CSP) is one of the representative combinatorial optimization problems, which arises in many industrial applications. Since the setup costs for switching different cutting patterns become more dominant in recent cutting industry, we consider a variant of 1D-CSP, called the pattern restricted problem (PRP), to minimize the number of stock rolls while constraining the number of different cutting patterns within a bound given by users. For this problem, we propose a local search algorithm that alternately uses two types of local search processes with the 1-add neighborhood and the shift neighborhood, respectively. To improve the performance of local search, we incorporate it with linear programming (LP) techniques, to reduce the number of solutions in each neighborhood. A sensitivity analysis technique is introduced to solve a large number of associated LP problems quickly. Through computational experiments, we observe that the new algorithm obtains solutions of better quality than those obtained by other existing approaches.  相似文献

In the present paper, the structure of solutions of some important classes of singular elliptic systems on the plane are investigated. In particular, it is proved that the solutions of such systems have in principle nonanalytic behavior in the neighborhood of fixed singular points. These results make it possible to state correctly the boundary value problems and give their complete analysis. Three-dimensional mathematical problems of the interaction between thermoelastic and scalar oscillation fields in a general physically anisotropic case are studied by the boundary integral equation methods. Uniqueness and existence theorems are proved by the reduction of the original interface problems to equivalent systems of boundary pseudodifferential equations. In the non-resonance case the invertibility of the corresponding matrix pseudodifferential operators in appropriate functional spaces is shown on the basis of the generalized Sommerfeld-Kupradze type thermoradiation conditions for anisotropic bodies. In the resonance case the co-kernels of the pseudodifferential operators are analysed and the efficient conditions of solvability of the original interface problems are established.  相似文献

The four basic stationary boundary value problems of elasticity for the Lamé equation in a bounded domain of 3 are under consideration. Their solutions are represented in the form of a power series with non-positive degrees of the parameter =1/(1–2), depending on the Poisson ratio . The coefficients of the series are solutions of the stationary linearized non-homogeneous Stokes boundary value problems. In this paper, for the second initial boundary value problem for Schrödinger systems, we obtain a performance of generalized solutions in a neighborhood of conical points on the boundary of the base of infinite cylinders. The main result are asymptotic formulas for generalized solutions in case the associated spectrum problem has more than one eigenvalue in the strip considered.  相似文献

The numerical solution of acoustic wave propagation problems in planar domains with corners and cracks is considered. Since the exact solution of such problems is singular in the neighborhood of the geometric singularities the standard meshfree methods, based on global interpolation by analytic functions, show low accuracy. In order to circumvent this issue, a meshfree modification of the method of fundamental solutions is developed, where the approximation basis is enriched by an extra span of corner adapted non-smooth shape functions. The high accuracy of the new method is illustrated by solving several boundary value problems for the Helmholtz equation, modelling physical phenomena from the fields of room acoustics and acoustic resonance.  相似文献
