In this paper we obtain some versions of weak compactness James theorem, replacing bounded linear functionals by polynomials and symmetric multilinear forms.     

Weak Continuity and Compactness for Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations

This paper presents several examples of fundamental problems involving weak continuity and compactness for nonlinear partial differential equations, in which compensated compactness and related ideas have played a significant role. The compactness and convergence of vanishing viscosity solutions for nonlinear hyperbolic conservation laws are first analyzed, including the inviscid limit from the Navier-Stokes equations to the Euler equations for homentropic flow, the vanishing viscosity method to construct the global spherically symmetric solutions to the multidimensional compressible Euler equations, and the sonic-subsonic limit of solutions of the full Euler equations for multi-dimensional steady compressible fluids. Then the weak continuity and rigidity of the Gauss-Codazzi-Ricci system and corresponding isometric embeddings in differential geometry are revealed. Further references are also provided for some recent developments on the weak continuity and compactness for nonlinear partial differential equations.     

Continuity of the Solution Set to Parametric Weak Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper, we obtain some stability results for parametric weak vector equilibrium problems in topological vector spaces. We provide sufficient conditions for the continuity of the solution set mapping in parametric weak monotone vector equilibrium problems. Existence of optimal controls for nonlinear systems in Banach spaces

Using a recent result of Castaing and Clauzure on the lower semicontinuity of integral functionals, we prove the existence of an optimal control for a broad class of nonlinear infinite-dimensional control systems. An example of a distributed parameter system is worked in detail.This research was supported by NSF Grant No. DMS-84-03135.     

The Law of Large Numbers and the Ito-Nisio Theorem for Vector Valued Random Fields

Strong convergence results are obtained for vector-valued random fields. Substantial development of Banach-valued random fields and summability results is needed to provide the framework for the major results since many plausible extensions fail for multi-indexed Banach-valued random variables. This development yields general convergence results for random fields in Banach spaces, including an Ito-Nisio theorem and strong laws of large numbers.     

第二型曲线积分的中值定理

引入了定义在曲线上的函数的介值性概念,函数的介值性要弱于其连续性,作为该概念的特殊情形,一元函数的介值性定义比李衍禧所给的定义更宽松.同时引入了关于坐标无反向的曲线的概念.在此基础上证明了定义在关于坐标无反向的曲线上的函数的第二型曲线积分的中值定理.李衍禧和关若峰的主要结果及熟知的定积分中值定理均是主要结果的简单推论.     

Weak convergence and weak compactness in the space of almost periodic functions on the real line

We give necessary and sufficient conditions for sequences in the space AP(R) of continuous almost periodic functions on the real line to converge in the weak topology. The abstract results are illustrated by a number of examples which show that weak convergence seems to be a rare phenomenon. We also characterize the weakly compact subsets in AP(R). In particular, earlier statements made in the monograph by Dunford and Schwartz are refined and completed. We close with some open problems.

本文证明了Banach空间中有界闭凸集有滴和弱滴性质的三个等价条件及Banach空间与其共轭空间有滴和弱滴性质的四个等价条件.     

集值映射的连续不动点定理及其在微分包含中的应用

本首先证明了一类集值映射的下半连续性。在此基础上给出了Banach空间集值映射的一个连续不动点定理,作为应用,证明了一类微分包含解的存在性。这种方法是全新的。     

A Weak Convergence Theorem for A Finite Family of Asymptotically Nonexpansive Mappings

The purpose of this paper is to prove a new weak convergence theorem for a finite family of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach space.     

多目标半定规划的互补弱鞍点和G-鞍点最优性条件

对于含矩阵函数半定约束和多个目标函数的多目标半定规划问题，给出Lagrange函数在弱有效意义下的互补弱鞍点和Geofrrion恰当有效意义下的G-鞍点的定义及其等价定义．然后，在较弱的凸性条件下，利用含矩阵和向量约束的择一性定理，建立多目标半定规划的互补弱鞍点和G-鞍点充分必要条件．     

Weak chain-completeness and fixed point property for pseudo-ordered sets

In this paper the notion of weak chain-completeness is introduced for pseudo-ordered sets as an extension of the notion of chain-completeness of posets (see [3]) and it is shown that every isotone map of a weakly chain-complete pseudo-ordered set into itself has a least fixed point.

自反Banach空间中锥拟凸映射多目标最优化问题锥有效解集的弱连通性

本文在自反Banach空间中引进了锥弱连续映射和点集的弱连通概念．在讨论锥弱连续和锥拟凸映射以及锥最小上界的几个性质的基础上,证明了当象集为锥凸集时定义在自反Ba- nach空间中的有界闭凸集上的锥弱连续和锥拟凸映射多目标最优化问题的锥有效解集是弱连通的．     

Compactness principle for periodic singular and fine structures

We consider the compactness principle in the variable space L ² related to a periodic Borel measure. We assume that the periodic Borel measure determines a periodic singular or a fine structure. We prove the compactness principle for periodic singular and fine grids, box structures, and composite structures on the plane and in space.     

Characterizing Nonemptiness and Compactness of the Solution Set of a Convex Vector Optimization Problem with Cone Constraints and Applications

In this paper, we characterize the nonemptiness and compactness of the set of weakly efficient solutions of a convex vector optimization problem with cone constraints in terms of the level-boundedness of the component functions of the objective on the perturbed sets of the original constraint set. This characterization is then applied to carry out the asymptotic analysis of a class of penalization methods. More specifically, under the assumption of nonemptiness and compactness of the weakly efficient solution set, we prove the existence of a path of weakly efficient solutions to the penalty problem and its convergence to a weakly efficient solution of the original problem. Furthermore, for any efficient point of the original problem, there exists a path of efficient solutions to the penalty problem whose function values (with respect to the objective function of the original problem) converge to this efficient point.
