The present paper concerns the study of a Riemann problem for the conservation law ut + [? (u)]x = (x ? vt) where x, t, k, v and u = u(x,t) are real numbers. We consider ? an entire function taking real values on the real axis and δ stands for the Dirac measure. Within a convenient space of distributions we will explicitly see the possible emergence of waves with the shape of shock waves, delta waves and delta shock waves. For this purpose, we define a rigorous concept of a solution which extends both the classical solution concept and a weak solution concept. All this framework is developed in the setting of a distributional product that is not constructed by approximation. We include the main ideas of this product for the reader’s convenience. Recall that delta shock waves are relevant physical phenomena which may be interpreted as processes of concentration of mass or even as processes of formation of galaxies in the universe.  相似文献

An investigation has been made on heavy ion‐acoustic (HIA) nonplanar shocks and solitons in an unmagnetized, collisionless, strongly coupled plasma whose constituents are strongly correlated adiabatic inertial heavy ions, weakly correlated nonextensive distributed electrons and Maxwellian light ions. By using appropriate nonlinear equations for our strongly coupled plasma system and the well‐known reductive perturbation technique, a modified Burgers (mB) equation and a modified Korteweg‐de Vries (mK‐dV) equation have been derived. They are also numerically solved in order to investigate the basic features (viz. polarity, amplitude, width, etc.) of cylindrical and spherical shock/solitary waves in such a strongly coupled plasma system. The roles of heavy ion dynamics, nonextensivity of electrons, and other plasma parameters arised in this investigation have significantly modified the basic features of the cylindrical and spherical HIA solitary and shock waves. The findings of our results obtained from this theoretical investigation may be useful in understanding the nonlinear phenomena associated with the cylindrical and spherical HIA waves both in space and laboratory plasmas. The Riemann problem for a simplified chromatography system is considered and the global Riemann solutions are constructed in all kinds of situations. In particular, the zero rarefaction wave, the zero shock wave and the zero delta shock wave are discovered in the Riemann solutions in some limit situations, which have infinite propagation speeds. Furthermore, these zero waves are analyzed by introducing the so-called double Riemann problem with three pieces of constant states. More precisely, we take the approximations of zero waves and investigate wave interactions in details before the limits are taken.  相似文献

By adopting a simplified model of a non-polytropic hard-sphere system where heat capacity depends on the temperature, we demonstrate the importance of non-polytropic effect on the shock-induced phase transitions. We show explicitly that with the increase of the shock strength the perturbed temperature (the temperature after a shock) increases and the vibrational modes are gradually excited, and as a result, shock-induced phase transitions are qualitatively and quantitatively different from the phase transitions observed in a simple polytropic model. The effect on the admissibility (stability) of a shock wave is also analyzed.  相似文献

示踪粒子在(高)超声速流场中的动力学响应是粒子成像测速等粒子示踪测量技术的关键问题之一.现有文献对粒子动力学响应的试验测量往往是通过单个斜激波响应的测量方法.然而,当示踪粒子用于测量高速飞行器发动机内部复杂的激波串流场时,粒子将经历由多道激波导致的速度、压力、黏性等剧烈变化.本文结合目前(高)超声速飞行器的研究热潮,重点关注示踪粒子在应用于发动机内部具有连续激波的复杂流场测量中存在的跟随性评估方面,开展了一系列的相关试验研究.包括测量超声速风洞的喷管出口速度分布以验证测试系统的性能,在马赫4.2和3.0流场中测量了粒子对二维10°和15°单斜劈绕流中的斜激波动力响应,并测量了模拟发动机内部连续梯度的双斜劈粒子斜激波动力响应.结合粒子动力学的理论模型,得到了各状态的粒子弛豫时间、弛豫距离、Stokes数.基于图像方法、统计学规律分析了激波非定常抖动对测量结果的影响,并对测量结果进行了修正.结果显示,相同斜劈角度下,马赫数越高,粒子的弛豫时间、弛豫距离就越大.但是在相同的来流马赫数下,斜劈角度越大,粒子的弛豫时间、弛豫距离反而减小.在强梯度之后由于流场的雷诺数和黏性系数变化剧烈,粒子的跟随性降低了大约5.7%,stokes数增加了约1%.虽然在本文条件下Stokes数仍满足超声速流场对粒子跟随性的要求,但粒子响应的降低无疑是值得关注的,尤其是当其被应用于具有更多连续梯度的复杂流场测量中.  相似文献

We consider classical hard-core particles hopping stochastically on two parallel chains in the same or opposite directions with an inter- and intra-chain interaction. We discuss general questions concerning elementary excitations in these systems, shocks and rarefaction waves. From microscopical considerations we derive the collective velocities and shock stability conditions. The findings are confirmed by comparison to Monte Carlo data of a multi-parameter class of simple two lane driven diffusion models, which have the stationary state of a product form on a ring. Going to the hydrodynamic limit, we point out the analogy of our results to the ones known in the theory of differential equations of two conservation laws. We discuss the singularity problem and find a dissipative term that selects the physical solution.  相似文献

最近提出的以流体速度和声速的线性组合为速度而运动的广义特征坐标系,是-个更为-般的坐标系统,当参数取不同特殊值的时候,就可以得到其他经典的坐标系统.这种坐标系的最大特点是,它能跟随膨胀波(当然也可以跟随激波和接触间断)运动,从而在使用同-计算格式的前提下,使得膨胀波的计算精度更高.对膨胀波和激波进行数值试验,结果显示广义特征坐标系在计算膨胀波和激波时明显优于传统的坐标系.  相似文献

We discuss the motion of substance in a channel containing nodes of a network. Each node of the channel can exchange substance with: (i) neighboring nodes of the channel, (ii) network nodes which do not belong to the channel, and (iii) environment of the network. The new point in this study is that we assume possibility for exchange of substance among flows of substance between nodes of the channel and: (i) nodes that belong to the network but do not belong to the channel and (ii) environment of the network. This leads to an extension of the model of motion of substance and the extended model contains previous models as particular cases. We use a discrete-time model of motion of substance and consider a stationary regime of motion of substance in a channel containing a finite number of nodes. As results of the study, we obtain a class of probability distributions connected to the amount of substance in nodes of the channel. We prove that the obtained class of distributions contains all truncated discrete probability distributions of discrete random variable ω which can take values 0,1,,N. Theory for the case of a channel containing infinite number of nodes is presented in Appendix A. The continuous version of the discussed discrete probability distributions is described in Appendix B. The discussed extended model and obtained results can be used for the study of phenomena that can be modeled by flows in networks: motion of resources, traffic flows, motion of migrants, etc.  相似文献

A procedure is described for matching a given stationary axisymmetric perfect fluid solution to a not necessarily asymptotically flat vacuum exterior. Using data on the zero pressure surface, the procedure yields the Ernst potential of the matching vacuum metric on the symmetry axis. We consider a two-component Hamiltonian system of partial differential equations with quadratic nonlinearities introduced by Popowicz, which has the form of a coupling between the Camassa–Holm and Degasperis–Procesi equations. Despite having reductions to these two integrable partial differential equations, the Popowicz system itself is not integrable. Nevertheless, as one of the authors showed with Irle, it admits distributional solutions of peaked soliton (peakon) type, with the dynamics of N peakons being determined by a Hamiltonian system on a phase space of dimension 3N. As well as the trivial case of a single peakon (N=1), the case N=2 is Liouville integrable. We present the explicit solution for the two-peakon dynamics, and describe some of the novel features of the interaction of peakons in the Popowicz system.  相似文献

A review of the refractive fringe diagnostic is presented. A modified de Laval nozzle is used to produce shocks in air, which are transversely probed using a low power HeNe laser. The refractive fringes recorded on film at different imaging distances are analysed using a video digitization technique. Both strong and weak density profiles are deduced.  相似文献

Newtonian fluid dynamics simulations were performed using the Navier–Stokes–Fourier formulations to elucidate the short time‐scale (µs and longer) evolution of the density and temperature distributions in an argon‐gas‐filled attenuator for an X‐ray free‐electron laser under high‐repetition‐rate operation. Both hydrodynamic motions of the gas molecules and thermal conductions were included in a finite‐volume calculation. It was found that the hydrodynamic wave motions play the primary role in creating a density depression (also known as a filament) by advectively transporting gas particles away from the X‐ray laser–gas interaction region, where large pressure and temperature gradients have been built upon the initial energy deposition via X‐ray photoelectric absorption and subsequent thermalization. Concurrent outward heat conduction tends to reduce the pressure in the filament core region, generating a counter gas flow to backfill the filament, but on an initially slower time scale. If the inter‐pulse separation is sufficiently short so the filament cannot recover, the depth of the filament progressively increases as the trailing pulses remove additional gas particles. Since the rate of hydrodynamic removal decreases while the rate of heat conduction back flow increases as time elapses, the two competing mechanisms ultimately reach a dynamic balance, establishing a repeating pattern for each pulse cycle. By performing simulations at higher repetition rates but lower per pulse energies while maintaining a constant time‐averaged power, the amplitude of the hydrodynamic motion per pulse becomes smaller, and the evolution of the temperature and density distributions approach asymptotically towards, as expected, those calculated for a continuous‐wave input of the equivalent power.  相似文献

传统百叶箱和防辐射罩内部的温度传感器受到太阳辐射会导致其温度高于大气真实温度, 升温量可达0.8 K甚至更高. 为提高大气温度观测精度, 本文设计了一种阵列式温度传感器. 利用计算流体动力学方法分析计算该传感器在不同环境条件下的辐射升温量, 采用遗传算法对计算结果进行拟合, 获得辐射升温量修正方程. 为验证阵列式温度传感器的实际性能, 研制了强制通风温度测量平台. 将阵列式温度传感器、配有传统防辐射罩的温度传感器和强制通风温度测量平台置于相同环境下, 进行大气温度观测比对实验. 配有传统防辐射罩的温度传感器辐射升温量平均值为0.409 K; 与前者相比, 阵列式温度传感器的辐射升温量仅为0.027 K. 这种阵列式温度传感器可将辐射升温引起的误差降低约93%. 辐射升温量实验测量值与修正方程修正值之间的平均偏移量为0.0174 K, 均方根误差为0.0215 K, 该结果验证了计算流体动力学方法与遗传算法的准确性. 如果配合计算流体动力学方法与遗传算法, 温度测量精度有进一步提高的潜力.  相似文献

物质气液临界点附近热物理性质发生剧烈变化,会出现一种对热力学平衡有显著加速作用的热声活塞效应。而在长时间尺度上,因重力作用而产生的Rayleigh-Bénard对流在活塞效应的影响下,其表现出来的物理特性与普通流体相比存在较大的差异。我们通过SIMPLE方法对超临界氮在不同临界距离下的自然对流发生过程进行数值模拟,结果显示当流体热力学状态接近临界点时,对流作用的发生取决于边界层内热羽流的形成,并且具有明显的湍流特征,而随着离开临界点的距离加大,流场的形成逐渐过渡到一般可压缩流体的情形。  相似文献

实验研究了在水平放置的低高宽比聚二甲基硅氧烷(polydimethylsiloxane,PDMS)微槽道(300μm×60μm)内的局部位置给予恒定热流密度条件下气泡的核化沸腾、生长和运动情况,实验中的工质采用FC-72,并用真空泵抽至室温下的饱和气压。研究发现微通道内起始沸腾需要比常规槽道更大的壁面过热度,液体流量和加热速率对气泡的生长和运动有很大的影响。  相似文献

This paper presents a funnel external potential model to investigate dynamic properties of ultracold Bose gas. By using variational method, we obtain the ground-state energy and density properties of ultracold Bose atoms. The results show that the ultracold Bose gas confined in a funnel potential experiences the transition from three-dimensional regime to quasi-one-dimensional regime in a small aspect ratio, and undergoes fermionization process as the aspect ratio increases.  相似文献
