Abstract

The heterometallic polymeric cluster Na2[AlW3O4 (O2CEt)8]2 (1) has been prepared by reaction of W(CO)6 and NaWO4·2H2O with AlCl3 at 120°C in propionic anhydride and characterized by X-ray crystallography, with the following crystal data: triclinic, space group P1, a = 12.205(5), b = 13.032(4), c = 13.925(3) Å, α = 90.21(3)°, β = 109.53(5)°, γ = 117.26(6)°, V = 1822.8(1)Å3, Z = 1, R = 0.038 and Rw = 0.101. The structure consists of two triangular [W3O4(O2CEt)8]4? cluster unit, which act as polydenate ligands to link Al3+ and Na+ ions forming a one–dimensional chain structure. IR spectra show characteristic [W3O4]4+ bands at 746–815 cm?1. Thermal analysis reveals that the complex is air stable up to 250°C. Cluster 1 decomposes in hot aqueous 2 M HCl solution to produce discrete [W3O4]4+ units.  相似文献

The reaction of Na2[Mo6Cl8(OCH3)6] and 2,2,2-crypt yields (C18H36N2O6Na)2[Mo6Cl8(OCH3)6] · 6 CH3OH ( 1 ), which is converted to (C18H36N2O6Na)2[Mo6Cl8(OC6H5)6] ( 2 ) by metathesis with phenol. According to single crystal structure determinations ( 1 : P3 1c, a=14.613(3) Å, c=21.036(8) Å; 2 : P3 1c, a=15.624(1) Å, c=19.671(2) Å) the compounds contain anionic clusters [Mo6Cl8i(ORa)6]2? ( 1 : d(Mo—Mo) 2.608(1) Å to 2.611(1) Å, d(Mo—Cl) 2.489(1) Å to 2.503(1) Å, d(Mo—O) 2.046(4) Å; 2 : d(Mo—Mo) 2.602(3) Å to 2.608(3) Å, d(Mo—Cl) 2.471(5) Å to 2.4992(5) Å, d(Mo—O) 2.091(14) Å). Electronic interactions of the halide cluster and the phenolate ligands in [Mo6Cl8(OC6H5)6]2? is investigated by means of UV/VIS spectroscopy and EHMO calculations.  相似文献

A novel organic/inorganic hybrid molybdenum phosphate, [NH3(CH2CH2)2NH3]3[NH3(CH2CH2)2NH2]Na5-[Mo6O12(OH)3(PO4)(HPO4)3]2·4H2O (1), involving molybdenum presented in V oxidation, has been hydrothermally prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, i.r., u.v.–vis., x.p.s., t.g. and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of the title compound (1) may be considered to consist of two [Mo6O12(OH)3(PO4)(HPO4)3] units bonded together with NaO6 octahedra, forming dimers. Further, these dimers connect with each other through four Na+ cations as bridges, giving rise to novel one-dimensional chain-like skeleton. Piperazines exist among inorganic chains acting as charge balancing cations.  相似文献

Preparation of trans-[Mo6Cl8]Cl4Br22? Starting from Crystalline [Mo6Cl8]Cl4(H2O)2 and Crystal Structure of [(C6H5)4As]2[Mo6Cl8]Cl4Br2 The synthesis of the title compound is successful if the crystallized [(Mo6Cl8)Cl4(H2O)2] containing the H2O molecules in trans-position reacts with HBr + [(C6H5)4As]Br in ethanol in a heterogeneous reaction. The X-ray structure investigation confirms the existence of discrete trans-Br-substituted cluster anions of composition [(Mo6Cl8)Cl4Br2]2? in the crystal. The reaction in homogeneous solutions proceeds to Br-enriched compounds. [(C6H5)4As]2[(Mo6Cl8)Cl4Br2] crystallizes in the triclinic space group P¯1 with a = 11.071(2), b = 11.418(2), c = 12.813(2) Å, α = 116.10(2), β = 95.27(2) and γ = 94.41(2)° (?133°C). The crystal structure at ?133°C was determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data (R1 = 0.026). The [(Mo6Cl8)Cl4Br2]2?-anions are not completely ordered but distributed statistically among the three positions which are possible within the limits of the ordered [Mo6Cl8]-cores (ratio 11:5:4). The frameworks of the anions consist of Mo6 cluster units with (slightly distorted) octahedral arrangement of the metal atoms (d(Mo? Mo): 2.600(1) up to 2.614(1) Å), which are coordinated by the halogeno ligands in a square-pyramidal manner. The details of the structure will be discussed and compared with similar [(Mo6X8)Y4] cluster units (X, Y ? Cl, Br).  相似文献

The tetrapropylammonium (Pr4N+) salt of [(SeO3)2(P2O7)Mo30O90]8? was prepared from a 75 mM MoVI–2.8 mM P2O74?–5.6 mM SeO32?–0.95 M HCl–60% (v/v) CH3CN system, where [(P2O7)Mo18O54]4? and [H6(SeO3)2Mo15O48]4? are first formed, then being spontaneously fused into [(SeO3)2(P2O7)Mo30O90]8?. The [(SeO3)2(P2O7)Mo30O90]8? anion may be isotypic with [(HPO3)2(P2O7)Mo30O90]8?, in which each side of a (P2O7)Mo12O42 fragment is capped by a B-type (HPO3)Mo9O24 unit derived from [H6(HPO3)2Mo15O48]4?. [(XO3)2(P2O7)Mo30O90]8? (X = HP, Se) have the same type of 30-molybdo framework as [(P2O7)2Mo30O90]8?, previously isolated by Koltz. These three 30-molybdo complexes with the same ionic charge of ?8 constitute a new class of polyoxometallates and have common properties of undergoing a two-electron reduction in the absence of H+.  相似文献

Tris(1‐methylimidazolium) bis(1‐methylimidazole)hexacosaoxidooctamolybdatesodium, (C4H7N2)3[NaMo8O26(C4H6N2)2], prepared from an aqueous solution containing Na2MoO4 and 1‐methylimidazole, contains the novel chain‐like anion 1[NaMo8O26(mim)2]3 (mim is 1‐methylimidazole). The [Mo8O26(mim)2]4− building unit, which lies across a center of inversion, is comprised of eight edge‐sharing MoO6 and MoO5(Nmim) octahedra. These molybdate units are interlinked by sodium, itself exhibiting a sixfold coordination with O atoms.  相似文献

The tetranuclear compound [Mo2(O2C‐tBu)3]2(μ‐C2O4) ( 1 ) that is prepared from [Mo2(O2C‐tBu)3]4 and oxalic acid, was reacted with MnI2 · 2THF to form the polyoxomolybdate compound [Mn(CH3OH)6] [Mo8O16(OCH3)8(C2O4)] ( 2 ) in a complex redox reaction. Crystals of 2 were analyzed by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction showing a octanuclear polyoxomolybdate dianion in which the Mo=O moieties are alternately connected through μ‐oxo and μ‐methoxo units. Charge balance in 2 is realized by a manganese(II) cation that is octahedrally coordinated by methanol ligands. The crystal structure is dominated by strong hydrogen bond interactions of the O–H ··· O type of methanol molecules coordinated to manganese as well as additional methanol molecules in the crystal lattice.  相似文献

Summary The complex [Bu 4 n N][Mo2O2Cl5(SPh)2] has been prepared by reaction of [Bu 4 n N][MoO(SPh)4] with stoichiometric amounts of HCl and characterised by single crystal X-ray structure analysis. The dimer is bridged by two oxo-groups and one chloride and each Mo has pseudo-octahedral co-ordination. The related compound [Mo2O3(SPh)2(S2CNMe2)2] was synthesised by reaction of [MoO2(S2CNMe2)2] with thiophenol in methanol and has also been characterised crystallographically. In this case the triple-bridge consists of two thiophenolate sulphurs and one oxo-group, each molybdenum having pseudo-octahedral geometry. These structures are compared with other triply-bridged species.  相似文献

The compounds (NMe4)5[As2Mo8V4AsO40] · 3 H2O 2a , (NH4)21[H3Mo57V6(NO)6O183(H2O)18] · 65 H2O 3a , (NH2Me2)18(NH4)6[Mo57V6(NO)6O183(H2O)18] · 14 H2O 3b and (NH4)12[Mo36(NO)4O108(H2O)16] · 33 H2O 4a ( 3a and 4a were not correctly reported in the literature regarding to their composition, structures and the oxidation states of the metal centres) which contain large isolated anionic species, have been prepared (among them 3a, 3b , and 4a in rather high yield) and characterized by complete crystal structure analysis as well as IR/Raman, UV/VIS/NIR, ESR spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements, redox titrations, bond valence sum calculations, elemental analyses and thermogravimetric studies. Perspectives for polyoxometalate chemistry referring to the synthesis of “extremely” large nanoscaled species are discussed, together with the occurrence of a large transferable {Mo17} building block in the compounds 3a, 3b and 4a which also exists in the corresponding iron compound Na3(NH4)12[H15Mo57Fe6(NO)6O183(H2O)18] · 76 H2O 7a .  相似文献

On Thallium(I)-oxochloromolybdates: Synthesis and Crystal Structures of Tl[MoOCl4(NCCH3)], Tl[Mo2O2Cl7], and Tl2[Mo4O4Cl14] and the Structure of Tl2[MoCl6] Black crystals of Tl2[MoCl6] are formed in the reaction of TlCl with MoOCl3 in a sealed evacuated glass ampoule at 350 °C. The crystal structure analysis shows that Tl2[MoCl6] (cubic, Fm m, a = 986.35(7) pm) adopts the K2[PtCl6] structure with a Mo–Cl bond length of 236.6 pm. Tl[MoOCl4(NCCH3)] was obtained by the reaction of TlCl with MoOCl3 in acetonitrile in form of yellow, moisture sensitive crystals. The structure (orthorhombic, Cmcm, a = 746.0(1), b = 1463.8(3), c = 857.3(2) pm) is built of Tl+ cations and octahedral [MoOCl4(NCCH3)] anions in which the acetonitrile ligand is bound in trans position to the oxygen. The reaction of TlCl and MoOCl3 in dichloromethane yields Tl[Mo2O2Cl7] and Tl2[Mo4O4Cl14] as green moisture sensitive crystals. The structure of Tl[Mo2O2Cl7] (orthorhombic, Pmmn, a = 694.3(1), b = 951.9(2), c = 904.7(1) pm) consists of Tl+ cations and dinuclear [Mo2O2Cl7] anions, with two equidistant chlorine bridges of 248.2 and one longer chlorine bridge of 265.7 pm. The oxygen atoms are located in the trans positions of the longer chloro bridge. The structure of Tl2[Mo4O4Cl14] (triclinic, P1¯, a = 692.8(1), b = 919.6(1), c = 998.9(1) pm, α = 104.94(1)°, β = 90.31(1)°, γ = 108.14(1)°) is build of Tl+ cations and [Mo4O4Cl14]2– anions which form tetramers of distorted octahedral, edgesharing (MoOCl5) units with chlorine atoms in the bridging positions. The oxygen atoms are located in the trans positions of the longest chlorine bridges.  相似文献

In the presence of N, N′‐dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC), (Bu4N)2[Mo6O18(NAr)] ( 1 ) and (Bu4N)2[Mo6O17(NAr)2] ( 2 ), Ar = o‐CH3C6H4, have been synthesized via the reaction of [α‐Mo8O26]4— with o‐toluidine. If the hydrochloride salt of o‐toluidine was added into the reactive mixture, only the monofunctionalized imido derivative of [Mo6O19]2— was obtained; the bifunctionalized derivative of [Mo6O19]2— was exclusively synthesized in the presence of non‐protonated o‐toluidine. The molecular and crystal structures of the hybrid compounds 1 and 2 were determined by X‐ray single crystal diffraction, and their UV, IR and NMR spectra were compared. Additionally, a possible reaction mechanism was proposed.  相似文献

Two new mixed alkaline uranyl molybdates CsNa3[(UO2)4O4Mo2O8] ( 1 ) and Cs2Na8[(UO2)8O8(Mo5O20)] ( 2 ) have been obtained by high‐temperature solid state reactions. Their crystal structures have been solved by direct methods: Compound 1 : triclinic, P , a = 6.46(1), b = 6.90(1), c = 11.381(2) Å, α = 84.3(1), β = 91.91(1), γ = 80.23(1)°, V = 488.6(2) Å3, R1 = 0.06 for 2865 unique reflections with |Fo| ≥ 4σF; Compound 2 : orthorhombic, Ibam, a = 6.8460(2), b = 23.3855(7), c = 12.3373(3) Å, V = 1975.2(1) Å3, R1 = 0.049 for 2120 unique reflections with |Fo| ≥ 4σF. The structure of 1 contains complex sheets of UrO5 pentagonal bipyramids and molybdenum polyhedra. The sheets have [(UO2)2O2(MoO5)] composition. Natrium and cesium atoms are located in the interlayer space. Cesium atoms are situated between the molybdenum clusters, whereas natrium atoms are segregated between the uranyl complexes. The large Cs+ ions are localized between the Mo2O9 groups and force the molybdenum polyhedra to rotate relative to the [(UO2)2O2(MoO5)] sheets. Such rotation is impossible for U6+ polyhedra due to their rigid edge‐sharing complexes. The distance between the U6+ polyhedra vertices of neighboring layers is 3.8 Å, that allows the Na+ ion to be positioned between the uranyl groups. The crystal structure of 2 is based upon a framework consisting of [(UO2)2O2(MoO5)] sheets parallel to (010). The sheets are linked into a 3‐D framework by sharing vertices with the Mo(2)O4 tetrahedra, located between the sheets. Each MoO4 tetrahedron shares two of its corners with two MoO6 octahedra in the sheet above, and the other two with MoO6 octahedra of the sheet below. Thus four MoO6 octahedra and one MoO4 tetrahedron form chains of composition Mo5O18. The resulting framework has a system of channels occupied by the Cs+ and Na+ ions.  相似文献

Some Reactions with [Mo6Cl8]Cl4 The reaction of [Mo6Cl8]Cl4 with different chemical agents has been investigated: The methoxylation depends on the CH3O? concentration in CH3OH. The reaction with HF leads to a partial fluorinated [Mo6Cl8] product. With NH4F (NH4)2[Mo6Cl8]F6 in formed, the hydrolysis of which leads to [Mo6Cl8]F3(OH) · 2.5 H2O. This compound can be decomposed thermically into [Mo6Cl8]O2. [Mo6Br8]F62? on hydrolysis leads to [Mo6Br8]F3(OH) · 5 H2O. With CsF Cs2[Mo6Cl8]F6 is formed, which by hydrolysis is transformed into [Mo6Cl8]F3(OH) · 2.5 H2O and possibly to [Mo6Cl8]F4 · xH2O(?). In reaction of [Mo6Cl8]Cl4 with H2SO4 one gets [Mo6Cl8](SO4)2. Salts e. g. [(C6H5)4As]2[Mo6Cl8](OC6F5)6 and adducts e. g. [Mo6Cl8](OC6F5)4 · 2 HMPA are prepared. The compounds have been characterized by X-ray powder-diagramms and by IR-spectra.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of dipotassium di‐μ‐oxo‐bis[aqua(oxalato‐O1,O2)oxomolybdenum(III)] trihydrate, K2[Mo2O4(C2O4)2(H2O)2]·3H2O, has been determined from X‐ray diffraction data. In the dimeric anion, which has approximate twofold symmetry, each Mo atom is in a distorted octahedral coordination, being bonded to one terminal oxo‐O atom, two bridging O atoms, two O atoms from the oxalato ligand and one from the water molecule. Bond lengths trans to the multiple‐bonded terminal oxo ligand are larger than those in the cis position, confirming the trans influence as a generally valid rule.  相似文献
