Combinatorial analysis methods are employed to solve the problem of determining the number and form of X-substituted (X, XY, … are some substituents) of carbometallic derivatives of boranes (C5H5)Co(C2B9H11) C 1v and (C5H5)Co(C5B6H11) C 5v (over vertices) based on Polya’s theorem. formulas of Z symmetry and generating functions of the number of chiral and achiral substitution stereoisomers are determined. Family distributions of the isomers depending on the form and number of substituents and depending on the number m of possible substitution sites are found. Mono-, di-, and tri-X-substituted (X = CH3, F, …) isomers of (C5H5)Co(C5B6H11) C 5v are identified. Based on the partition of simple (n) and triangular numbers (K 3) of Pascal’s triangle, additive schemes are obtained which take into account valence and non-valence pair interactions of atoms in the polyhedron framework and contain 2, 6, and 23 parameters for the calculation of properties of X-substituted borane (C5H5)Co(C5B6H11) C 5v .  相似文献

The redox aptitude of a series of cobalt(III) or cobalt(I) sandwich complexes bearing a charge compensated dicarbollide ligand ([9-L-7,8-C2B9H10]) as a constant unit and different counterparts (varying from classical [7,8-C2B9H11]2− to charge-compensated [9-L-7,8-C2B9H10] dicarbollides, from cyclopentadienyl [C5R5] (R = Me, H) to cyclobutadiene [C4Me4]0 ligands) has been studied. All the Co(III) complexes display the reversible sequence Co(III)/Co(II)/Co(I). In contrast, the Co(I) complexes (namely, those capped by tetramethylcyclobutadiene) accede reversibly only to the Co(II) oxidation state, the passage to Co(III) being irreversible. When possible, the Co(II) intermediates have been characterized by EPR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of the monocation [Co(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10)2]+ in its DD/LL and meso diastereomeric forms as well as that of heteroleptic (η-7,8-C2B9H11)Co(η-9-SMe2-7,8-C2B9H10) have been obtained by single-crystal diffraction. Crystals of novel heterepoly complexes (HPC) Na0.5Cs2 − x [H0.5 − x M x II XIII(OH)6Mo6O18] · 7−8H2O (MII = Fe, Mn; XIII = Cr, Al) are synthesized. Crystal structures of the complexes Na0.5Cs2 − x [H0.5 − x FexCr(OH)6Mo6O18] · 7H2O (I) (x = 0.19) and Na0.5Cs2 − x [H0.5 − x MnxAl(OH)6Mo6O18] · 8H2O (II) (x = 0.22) are determined (space group Pbcn, Z = 8, a = 23.023(4) Å, b = 22.064(4) Å, c = 11.606(3) Å, V = 5895.66 Å3 for I and a = 22.972(9) Å, b = 22.002(8) Å, c = 11.543(5) Å, V = 5834.18 Å3 for II, respectively). Double complex salts (DCSs) [Co(NH3)6][Fe(CN)6] (I) and [Co(NH3)6]2[Cu(C2O4)2]3 (II) and complex [Co(NH3)6]2(C2O4)3·4H2O (III) are synthesized and investigated by single crystal XRD, crystal optics, and elemental analysis. The crystalline phases of I, II, and III (R-3, P21/c, and Pnnm space groups respectively) have the following crystallographic characteristics: a = 10.9804(2) ?, b = 10.9804(2) ?, c = 10.8224(3) ?, V = 1130.03(4) ?3, Z = 3, d x = 1.65 g/cm3 (I); a = 9.6370(2) ?, b = 10.2452(2) ?, c = 13.2108(3) ?, V = 1932.90(9) ?3, Z = 2, d x= 1.97 g/cm3 (II), and a = 11.7658(3) ?, b = 11.7254(3) ?, c = 14.1913(4) ?, V = 1304.34(5) ?3, Z = 2, d x = 1.68 g/cm3 (III). This paper investigates the products of DCS thermolysis in a hydrogen atmosphere: the intermetallic compound CoFe with the bcc parameter a = 2.852 ? for I and a heterogeneous mixture of Co and Cu in the decomposition of II. The coordinated CN and C2O42− groups then turn into NH3, hydrocarbons, and CO2. The dominant hydrocarbon is methane.  相似文献

 Novel N-(3-oxobutyl)-hydroxy- and acetoxypyrido[2,3-d]pyridazinones were synthesized and tested in vivo for their sedative and anticonvulsant activity. The Michael-type reaction of quinolinic acid hydrazide and methyl vinyl ketone afforded a mixture of two isomers, 5-hydroxy-N 7-(3-oxobutyl)-pyrido[2,3-d]pyridazin-8(7H)-one and 8-hydroxy-N 6-(3-oxobutyl)-pyrido[2,3,-d]pyridazin-5-(6H)-one, in a ratio of 2:1 which were separated by crystallization. Subsequent acetylation of both isomers yielded the corresponding 5- and 8-acetoxy compounds. The structures of the compounds were proven and completely assigned on the basis of 1H, 13C, 15N NMR, and 1D NOE difference spectra as well as 2D C,H-correlation experiments. Preliminary pharmacological tests showed low acute toxicity with a LD 50 > 1000 mg/kg in the mouse and sedative activity for the title compounds. 5-Acetoxy-N 7- (3-oxobutyl)-pyrido[2,3-d]pyridazin-8(7H)-one displayed a borderline anticonvulsant activity in the metrazole test model.  相似文献

Single crystals of (H3O)[UO2(CH3COO)3] (I) and (NH(C2H5)3)[UO2(CH3COO)3] (II) are synthesized, and their structures are studied by X-ray crystallography. Compound I crystallizes in the tetragonal crystal system with the unit cell parameters a = 13.70640(10) ?, c = 27.5258(5) ?, V = 5171.14(11) ?3, space group I41/a, Z = 16, R = 0.0238. The crystals of compound II are orthorhombic with the parameters a = 13.3685(3) ?, b = 10.6990(3) ?, c = 12.2616(3) ?, V = 1753.77(8) ?3, space group Pna21, Z = 4, R = 0.0228. The uranium-containing structural units of crystals I and II are [UO2(CH3COO)3] island mononuclear groups belonging to the A B301(A = UO22+, B01 = CH3COO) crystal-chemical group of uranyl complexes. [UO2(CH3COO)3] complexes are linked into a three-dimensional framework by electrostatic interactions with the outer-sphere cations and by hydrogen bonds involving the hydrogen atoms of hydroxonium (I) or triethylammonium (II) with the oxygen atoms of the acetato groups.  相似文献

Charge-transfer salts [Co(C5H5)2][M(dpt)2] (M = Ni and Pt; dpt = cis-1,2-diphenylethene-1,2-dithiolate) were synthesized and crystallographically characterized. [Co(C5H5)2][Ni(dpt)2] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 25, 607(3) Å, b = 9.4151(11) Å, c = 14.407(4) Å, β = 101.373(22)°, V = 3405.3(10) Å3 and Z = 4. [Co(C5H5)2][Pt(dpt)2] belongs to the triclinic space group $ {\rm P}\bar 1 $ with a = 9.4666(11) Å, b = 13.9869(12) Å, c = 14.2652(9) Å, α = 99.983(6)°, β = 90.034(7)°, γ = 109.751(7)°, V = 1747.2(3) Å3 and Z = 2. Both structures consist of ··· D+A?D+A?D+A? ··· linear chains with the local C5 axis of the eclipsed [Co(C5H5)2]+ cation parallel to the best MS4 plane of the [M(dpt)2]? anion. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show that χM T values of the complexes [Co(C5H5)2][M(dpt)2] (M = Ni, Pd, and Pt) remain nearly constant in the temperature range 15–300 K, but decrease rapidly with further decreasing of temperature, indicating weak antiferromagnetic interactions at low temperatures.  相似文献

A novel compound, [MnPhen3][(B9C2H11)Co(B8C2H10)Co(B9C2H11)]· CH3CN (Phen = 1,10-phenantroline), comprising a Co(III) dicobaltacarborane cluster anion has been prepared and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystal data are the following: C44H59B26N7Co2Mn, M = 1139.84, triclinic, space group , unit cell parameters: a = 13.2465(11) Å, b = 14.521(2) Å, c = 15.2536(15) Å; α = 77.027(9)°, β = 88.500(8)°, γ = 77.274(9)°; V = 2788.5(5) Å3, Z = 2, d calc = 1.358 g/cm3, T = 295 K, F(000) = 1162, μ = 0.853 mm−1. The structure was solved by the direct and Fourier methods and refined anisotropically (isotropically for hydrogen atoms) using the full-matrix technique to final factors R 1 = 0.0374, wR 2 = 0.0915 for 7397 I hkl ≥2σI of 9779 I hkl measured (diffractometer Enraf-Nonius CAD-4, λMoK α , graphite monochromator, θ/2θ-scanning). The structure is formed from [MnPhen3]2+ cations, [(B9C2H11)×Co(B8C2H10)Co(B9C2H11)]2− anions, and acetonitrile molecules CH3CN. Central Mn atom in the cation has a distorted octahedral coordination environment formed by six nitrogen atoms of three bi-dentate Phen ligands, average Mn-N bond length being 2.263(2) Å. The anion has a chain-like structure built from three icosahedra sharing common vertices occupied by the cobalt atoms. The central icosahedron including ten light atoms (8B, 2C) provides two vertices for the cobalt atoms shared with the other icosahedra having 11 light atoms (9B, 2C). The arrangement of-C2-groups in the anion corresponds to a quasi-gauche-configuration of asymmetric sandwich complexes of both cobalt atoms. Original Russian Text Copyright ? 2005 by T. M. The azaborate K2[nido-NB10H11] is gained from nido-NB10H13 and K[BHEt3] in a 1:2 ratio. The anion [NB10H11]2?, which is isoelectronic with [C2B9H11]2?, reacts with [{η6-(C6R6) · RuCl2}2] (R = H, Me), [{η5-(C5Me5)RhCl2}2], or [Ni(PPh3)2Cl2] to give the azametalla-closo-dodecaboranes MNB10H11 with M = (C6Me6)Ru ( 2 ), (C6H6)Ru ( 3 ), (C5Me5)Rh ( 4 ), and (Ph3P)2Ni ( 5 ), respectively. The azametallaborane K[Co(NB10H11)2] ( 6 ), which contains a sandwich-type coordinated Co atom, is formed from K2[NB10H11] and CoCl2. The structure of 2 · CH2Cl2 was determined by X-ray diffraction. The products 2 – 6 can be derived from the icosahedral anion [B12H12]2? on replacing a BH2? moiety by the isoelectronic nitrene NH and a BH moiety by the isolobal metal-complex fragment M. The reaction of bis(arene)iron(II) salts (arene = mesitylene or hexamethylbenzene) or benzenedichlororuthenium(II) dimer with Tl[3,1,2-TlC2B9H11] in THF produces neutral, air-stable π-(arene)(Fe, Ru)C2B9H11 complexes in low or moderate yields. The metallocarboranes are formal analogues of [π-(arene)Fe, Ru)n+(C5H5)] species, and a single crystal X-ray structure of the title compound has established the closo sandwich geometry expected for the molecule on the basis of electron counting rules. The carborane cage was found to be disordered in the crystal but the essential features of the molecular geometry were not obscured. The mesitylene is symmetrically bound to the iron, and the Fe-arene (centroid) distance of 1.60 Å is similar to that found in the previously-characterized [(CH3)6C6]FeI(C5H5) complex, despite the difference in the metal electronic configurations (d6 vs d7) and the change from the B9C2H112? cage to C5H5?. Crystals of 3,1,2-(η6-1,3,5-(CH3)3C6H3)FeC2B9H11 are orthorhombic, space group Pn21a, with a = 12.638(4), b = 12.432(4), c = 9.686(3) Å.  相似文献

Polymer compositions based on the ionic liquid tetradecylammonium triethylammonium-closododecaborate (TTCD) are proposed as the main components of membranes of potentiometric sensors (ion-selective electrodes) for determining ions [B12H11N(C2H5)3]. Two types of polymer compositions are considered: conventional, polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-liquid ion-exchanger (solution of TTCD in o-nitrophenyl octyl ether) and another, PVC-TTCD (ionophore-plasticizer). The optimal composition of membranes for both types of electrodes are proposed, and their main electroanalytical parameters, such as selectivity, effect of pH, range of linear response, reproducibility, and stability of potential, were measured. A comparative analysis of the electroanalytical parameters of potentiometric sensors with membranes of two types is given. The detection limits for the electrodes of types I and II are 9 × 10−7 and 4 × 10−7 M. It is shown that [B12H11N(C2H5)3] anions can be determined by potentiometric titration with indicator electrodes of different types.  相似文献

Reaction of 2-XB5H8 (X  Cl, Br) with Naco(CO)4 produces the transiently stable 2-[Co(CO)4]B5H8. The similar 2-[(η5-C5H5)Fe(CO)2]B5H8, which exhibits much greater thermal stability, is prepared by reaction of LiB5H8 with (η5-C5H5)Fe(CO)2I. Reactions of CO2(CO)8 with B5H9 under a variety of conditions produce 2-[Co(CO)4]B5H8 along with an inseparable impurity that appears to be 1-[Co(CO)4]B5H8.  相似文献

Ion-selective electrodes are proposed on the basis of tetradecylammonium salts for determining [B12H12]2−, [B10H10]2−, and [B10Cl10]2− closoborate anions. Their basic electroanalytical parameters, selectivity, linear response range, detection limit, potential stability, and the pH effect on electrode indications are estimated. The closoborate anions can be arranged in the following series by the selectivity of their determination: [B10Cl10]2− ≫ [B12H12]2− > [B10H10]2−.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Durch Oxydation von Kobalt(II)salz-Lösungen in Anwesenheit von Dimethylglyoxim und aromatischen Diaminen wurden unter doppelter Umsetzung 41 Salze der [Co(HD)2(o-Phenylendiamin)2]+, [Co(HD)2(m-Phenylendiamin2])+, [Co(HD)2-(2-Methyl-p-phenylendiamin)2]+ und [Co(HD)2(N-Dimethyl-p-phenylendiamin)2]+-Kationen erhalten. Die Koordination von zwei Diaminliganden im Kobalt(III)-bis-dimethylglyoximin-Kern bestätigt dietrans-Konfiguration der [Co(HD)2(Diamin)2]+-Komplexe. Diese Annahme wurde auch durch UR-spektroskopische Untersuchung bestätigt.
On-dioxime complexes of transition metals, XXXVII. Cobalt(III)-dimethylglyoxime complexes with aromatic diamines
The oxidation of cobalt(II) salts in presence of dimethyl-glyoxime and aromatic diamines, has been studied. A series of 41 novel complex salts of the cations [Co(HD)2(o-phenylendiamine)2]+, [Co(HD)2(m-phenylendiamine)2]+, [Co(HD)2(2-methyl-p-phenylendiamine)2]+ and [Co(HD)2(N-dimethyl-p-phenylendiamine)2]+ has been prepared and characterized by means of double decomposition reactions.The coordination of 2 diamine molecules to the Co(III)-dimethylglyoximine-skelet confirms thetrans-configuration of the [Co(HD)2(diamine)2 + complexes.

The kinetics of the electron-transfer reactions between promazine (ptz) and [Co(en)2(H2O)2]3+ in CF3SO3H solution ([CoIII] = (2–6) × 10−3 m, [ptz] = 2.5 × 10−4 m, [H+] = 0.02 − 0.05 m, I = 0.1 m (H+, K+, CF3SO 3 ), T = 288–308 K) and [Co(edta)] in aqueous HCl ([CoIII] = (1 − 4) × 10−3 m, [ptz] = 1 × 10−4 m, [H+] = 0.1 − 0.5 m, I = 1.0 m (H+, Na+, Cl), T = 313 − 333 K) were studied under the condition of excess CoIII using u.v.–vis. spectroscopy. The reactions produce a CoII species and a stable cationic radical. A linear dependence of the pseudo-first-order rate constant (k obs) on [CoIII] with a non-zero intercept was established for both redox processes. The rate of reaction with the [Co(en)2(H2O)2]3+ ion was found to be independent of [H+]. In the case of the [Co(edta)] ion, the k obs dependence on [H+] was linear and the increasing [H+] accelerates the rate of the outer-sphere electron-transfer reaction. The activation parameters were calculated as follows: ΔH = 105 ± 4 kJ mol−1, ΔS = 93 ± 11 J K−1mol−1 for [Co(en)2(H2O)2]3+; ΔH = 67 ± 9 kJ mol−1, ΔS = − 54 ± 28 J K−1mol−1 for [Co(edta)].  相似文献

Protonation equilibrium has been studied for the acyclic gold(III) tetraaza metallocomplex [AuB]2+ [B = N, N′-bis(2-aminoethyl)-2,4-pentanediiminato(1−)] in aqueous solution. The synthetic procedure is described. The crystal and molecular structure of the protonated form of the [AuHB](H5O2)(ClO4)4 complex has been determined. Monoclinic crystals with unit cell dimensions a = 11.964(2) Å, b = 13.789(3) Å, c = 15.496(3) Å, β = 109.00(3)°, V = 2417.1(8) Å3, Z = 4, ρcalc = 2.243 g/cm3, space group P21/n. The structure is built of nearly planar [Au(C9H20N4)]3+ complex cations, (H5O2)+ cations, and [ClO4] anions. The gold atom coordinates four nitrogen atoms of the ligand, forming a square plane. The six-membered chelate ring of the ligand is protonated at the central β-carbon atom and contains imine C=N bonds. The oxygen atoms of the perchlorate ions are hydrogen bonded to the (H5O2)+ dihydroxonium ion and to the nitrogen atoms of the NH2 groups of the [AuHB]3+ cation. Polyhedral borane anions and carboranes that can be constructed formally from the interaction of rings and caps will be stable with six interstitial electrons. Interstitial electron count is obtained by summing the number of π electrons of the ring and the electrons of the caps involved in ring cap binding. Thus B7H7 −2 (D5h) has 6 interstitial electrons (none from the B5H5 ring, two each from the twobh caps and two negative charge),mndo calculations on isoelectronic pyramidal molecules B6H6 −4 (C5v), B5H5CH−3 (C5v), B5H5 −4 (C4v), B4H4CH−3 (C4v), B4H4 −4 (T d) and B3H3CH−3 (C3v) suggests a criterion based on the out-of-plane bendings of the ring B-H bonds to select the best combination of borocycles and BH or CH caps. Three-membered borocycle prefers CH cap, five-membered borocycle prefers BH cap. The preference of four-membered ring for BH or CH cap is not as pronounced. The extra stability of B12H12 −2 arises from the geometry of the icosahedron. The relative stabilities ofnido andcloso carboranes follow from these rules.  相似文献

A novel 2D organic-inorganic hybrid 3d–4f polyoxometalate [Cu(Dap)2(H2O)][Cu(Dap)2]4.5[Gd(α-PW11O39)2] · 5H2O (I) (Dap = 1,2-diaminopropane) built by [Gd(α-PW11O39)2]11− units and [Cu(Dap)2]2+ bridges has been synthesized hydrothermally by the reaction of GdCl3, CuCl2 · 2H2O, Na9[A-α-PW9O34] · 7H2O, and Dap and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectrum, UV spectrum, powder X-ray diffraction, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Single-crystal structural analysis shows that I displays an interesting 2D 3d–4f heterometallic sheet architecture with a 5-connected topology constructed from 1: 2-type [Gd(α-PW11O39)2]11− subunits and [Cu(Dap)2]2+ bridges. To the best of our knowledge, I represents a rare organic-inorganic hybrid 2D 3d–4f heterometallic monovacant Keggin phosphotungstate.  相似文献

Coordination polymers [Ag(Me4Pyz)] PF6(I) and [Ag2(Me4Pyz)3](BF4)2·H2O (II) have been synthesized, and their structures have been determined. The crystals of I are monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 9.440(2) ?, b = 10.587(2) ?, c = 13.165(3) ?, β= 107.19(3)°, V = 1257.0(5) ?3, d = 2.056 g/cm3, Z = 4. The crystals of II are monoclinic, space group P21/n, a = 13.062(3) ?, b = 12.259(2) ?, c = 18.996(4) ?, β = 97.73(3)°, V = 3014.1(11)?3, ρ = 1.798 g/cm3, Z = 4. The structure of I is built of linear polymeric cations [Ag(C8H12N2)] + and octahedral anions [PF6]. Upon the interaction of tetramethylpyrazine molecule with Ag+ ions, intersecting polymeric chains [Ag(C8H12)] + (1D polymer) are formed extending in mutually perpendicular diagonal directions. The sodium salt of [B12H12]2− dianion reacts with carboxylic acid halides to give a mixture of B-acylated product [B12H11COR]2− and an unstable intermediate, the latter undergoing hydrolysis to form [B12H11OH]2−. The ratio of the products formed depends on the nature of the radical R. The reaction mechanism was studied by NMR spectroscopy.
