We offer a new approach for solving the homogeneous Riemann-Hilbert boundary-value problem for analytic function in multiply connected circular domains. The approach is based on determination of analytic function in terms of known boundary values of its argument in a special case.  相似文献

This paper derives general analytical formulae for the conformal maps from multiply connected circular preimage domains to multiply connected quadrature domains by considering the Bergman kernel functions of the preimage and target domains. The new formulae are expressed in terms of the Schottky–Klein prime function. They generalize, to the case of arbitrary connectivity, a formula relevant to doubly connected domains derived by Y. The Schwarz problem for bi-analytic functions in unbounded circular multiply connected domains is considered. We combine constructive methods applied to boundary value problems for complex partial differential equations in simply connected domains and for the Riemann–Hilbert type problems in multiply connected domains. According to Muskhelishvili’s approach, two-dimensional elastic problems for media with non-overlapping inclusions are reduced to boundary value problems for analytic functions in multiply connected domains. Using a method of functional equations developed by Mityushev, we reduce such a problem for a circular multiply connected domain to functional-differential equations. It is proved that the operator corresponding to the functional-differential equations is compact in the Hardy–Sobolev space. Moreover, these equations can be solved by the method of successive approximation under some natural conditions.  相似文献

In this paper we present a boundary integral equation method for the numerical conformal mapping of bounded multiply connected region Ω onto a disk with circular slits. The method is based on some uniquely solvable boundary integral equations with classical adjoint and generalized Neumann kernels. These boundary integral equations are constructed from a boundary relationship satisfied by a function analytic on a multiply connected region. Some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the presented method.  相似文献

We continue our exposition concerning the Carathéodory topology for multiply connected domains which we began in [Comerford M., The Carathéodory topology for multiply connected domains I, Cent. Eur. J. Math., 2013, 11(2), 322–340] by introducing the notion of boundedness for a family of pointed domains of the same connectivity. The limit of a convergent sequence of n-connected domains which is bounded in this sense is again n-connected and will satisfy the same bounds. We prove a result which establishes several equivalent conditions for boundedness. This allows us to extend the notions of convergence and equicontinuity to families of functions defined on varying domains.  相似文献

We propose a domain embedding method to solve second order elliptic problems in arbitrary two-dimensional domains. The method is based on formulating the problem as an optimal distributed control problem inside a disc in which the arbitrary domain is embedded. The optimal distributed control problem inside the disc is solved rapidly using a fast algorithm developed by Daripa et al. [3,7,10–12]. The arbitrary domains can be simply or multiply connected and the proposed method can be applied, in principle, to a large number of elliptic problems. Numerical results obtained for Dirichlet problems associated with the Poisson equation in simply and multiply connected domains are presented. The computed solutions are found to be in good agreement with the exact solutions with moderate number of grid points in the domain.  相似文献

The problem of active shielding (AS) for a multiply connected domain consists of constructing additional sources of the field (e.g., acoustic) so that all individual subdomains can either communicate freely with one another or otherwise be shielded from their peers. This problem can be interpreted as a special inverse source problem for the differential equation (or system) that governs the field. In the paper, we obtain general solution for a discretized composite AS problem and show that it reduces to solving a collection of auxiliary problems for simply connected domains.  相似文献

We construct radial stochastic Loewner evolution in multiply connected domains, choosing the unit disk with concentric circular slits as a family of standard domains. The natural driving function or input is a diffusion on the associated moduli space. The diffusion stops when it reaches the boundary of the moduli space. We show that for this driving function the family of random growing compacts has a phase transition for κ=4 and κ=8, and that it satisfies locality for κ=6. To cite this article: R.O. Bauer, R.M. The present paper deals with Tricomi and Frankl problems for generalized Chaplygin equations in multiply connected domains. We first give the representation of solutions of the Tricomi problem for the equations, and then prove the uniqueness and existence of solutions for the problem by a new method, i.e. the complex functions in the elliptic domain and the hyperbolic complex functions in hyperbolic domain are used. We present a new Fornberg-like method for the numerical conformal mapping of multiply connected regions exterior to circles to multiply connected regions exterior to smooth curves. The method is based on new, symmetric conditions for analytic extension of functions given on circular boundaries. We also briefly discuss a similar method due to Wegmann and compare some computations with both methods. Some examples of regions which exhibit crowding of the circles are also presented.  相似文献

 Let be a parametric variational double integral and γ ⊂ ℝ n be a system of several distinct Jordan curves. We prove the existence of multiply connected, conformally parametrized minimizers of spanned in γ by solving the Douglas problem for parametric functionals on multiply connected schlicht domains. As a by-product we obtain a simple isoperimetric inequality for multiply connected -minimizers, and we discuss regularity results up to the boundary which follow from corresponding results for the Plateau problem. This article concerns the inverse problem for linear elliptic systems of first-order equations with Riemann–Hilbert-type map in multiply connected domains. First the formulation and the complex form of the problem for the systems are given, and then the coefficients of the elliptic complex equations for the above problem are constructed by a complex analytic method, where the advantage of the methods in other papers is absorbed, and the used method in this article is more simple and the obtained result is more general. As an application of the above results, we can derive the corresponding results of the inverse problem for second-order elliptic equations from Dirichlet to Neumann map in multiply connected domains.  相似文献

We discuss the extension of radial SLE to multiply connected planar domains. First, we extend Loewner's theory of slit mappings to multiply connected domains by establishing the radial Komatu-Loewner equation, and show that a simple curve from the boundary to the bulk is encoded by a motion on moduli space and a motion on the boundary of the domain. Then, we show that the vector-field describing the motion of the moduli is Lipschitz. We explain why this implies that “consistent,” conformally invariant random simple curves are described by multidimensional diffusions, where one component is a motion on the boundary, and the other component is a motion on moduli space. We argue what the exact form of this diffusion is (up to a single real parameter κ) in order to model boundaries of percolation clusters. Finally, we show that this moduli diffusion leads to random non-self-crossing curves satisfying the locality property if and only if κ=6.  相似文献
