We perform a general analysis of the dynamic structure of two classes of relativistic lagrangian field theories exhibiting static spherically symmetric non-topological soliton solutions. The analysis is concerned with (multi-) scalar fields and generalized gauge fields of compact semi-simple Lie groups. The lagrangian densities governing the dynamics of the (multi-) scalar fields are assumed to be general functions of the kinetic terms, whereas the gauge-invariant lagrangians are general functions of the field invariants. These functions are constrained by requirements of regularity, positivity of the energy and vanishing of the vacuum energy, defining what we call “admissible” models. In the scalar case we establish the general conditions which determine exhaustively the families of admissible lagrangian models supporting this kind of finite-energy solutions. We analyze some explicit examples of these different families, which are defined by the asymptotic and central behaviour of the fields of the corresponding particle-like solutions. From the variational analysis of the energy functional, we show that the admissibility constraints and the finiteness of the energy of the scalar solitons are necessary and sufficient conditions for their linear static stability against small charge-preserving perturbations. Furthermore, we perform a general spectral analysis of the dynamic evolution of the small perturbations around the statically stable solitons, establishing their dynamic stability. Next, we consider the case of many-components scalar fields, showing that the resolution of the particle-like field problem in this case reduces to that of the one-component case. The study of these scalar models is a necessary step in the analysis of the gauge fields. In this latter case, we add the requirement of parity invariance to the admissibility constraints. We determine the general conditions defining the families of admissible gauge-invariant models exhibiting finite-energy electrostatic spherically symmetric solutions which, unlike the (multi-) scalar case, are not always stable. The variational analysis of the energy functional leads now to supplementary restrictions to be imposed on the lagrangian densities in order to ensure the linear stability of the solitons. We establish a correspondence between any admissible soliton-supporting (multi-) scalar model and a family of admissible generalized gauge models supporting finite-energy electrostatic point-like solutions. Conversely, for each admissible soliton-supporting gauge-invariant model there is an associated unique admissible (multi-) scalar model with soliton solutions. This shows the exhaustive character of the admissibility and stability conditions in determining the class of soliton-supporting generalized gauge models. The usual Born-Infeld electrodynamic theory and its non-abelian extensions are shown to be (very particular) examples of one of these families.  相似文献

The motion characteristics of a Bose-Einstein condensate bright soliton incident on a local step-like potential barrier are investigated analytically by means of the variational approach. The dynamics of the soliton-potential interaction is studied as well. Then the results are verified by direct numerical simulations of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation. It is found that a moving bright soliton can be reflected from or pass over a step-like potentiaI in a controllable fashion, the critical velocity depends on the width of the soliton and the parameters of the step, and the motion trajectory of the soliton does not depend on its phase. The atom density envelope of the soliton is changed as the result of the interaction between the soliton and the step-like potential.  相似文献

Employing a simple, straightforward Darboux transformation we construct exact N-soliton solution for anisotropic spin chain driven by an external magnetic field in linear wave background. As a special case the explicit one- and two-soliton solution dressed by the linear wave corresponding to magnon in quantum theory is obtained analytically and its property is discussed in detail. The dispersion law, effective soliton mass, and the energy of each soliton are investigated as well. Our result show that the stability criterion of soliton is related with anisotropic parameter and the amplitude of the linear wave.  相似文献

The nonlinear susceptibilities of uniaxially anisotropic ferromagnets are obtained analytically. The expressions show that the anisotropy effect on the first- and second-order components means just an increased H1a (the first-order anisotropy field) of the dc field H0 along the anisotropy axis, but the third-order components are complicated and new terms appear. Applying the above results to surface magnetostatic waves in the films, we find new magnetostatic modes from the joint effect of the anisotropy and nonlinearity since higher powers of frequency are introduced in the dispersion equation by the nonlinearity and anisotropy. Very obvious non-reciprocity is seen from the dispersion curves.  相似文献

Bilayered Fe65Co35 (=FeCo)/Co films were prepared by facing targets sputtering with 4πMs∼24 kg. The soft magnetic properties of FeCo films were induced by a Co underlayer. Hc decreased rapidly when the Co underlayer was 2 nm or more. The films showed well-defined in-plane uniaxial anisotropy with the typical values of Hce=10 Oe and Hch=3 Oe, respectively. High frequency characteristics of the films show the films can work at 0.8 GHz with real permeability as high as 250.  相似文献

The composites of Co-B coatings on hollow microspheres (Co-B/HMSs) have been successfully synthesized through electroless plating in this paper. The time-dependent microstructure evolution and magnetic properties of the composites were carefully investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). It was found that small Co-B clusters appeared on the surface of hollow microspheres at catalytic nuclei during the initial stage. Further growth, they converged to form continuous coatings, which were actually stacking of Co-B nuclei. Interestingly, there was an increment of B content in the coating as time wore on, this phenomenon could be interpreted by electrochemical mechanism. Besides, the composites showed magnetic properties, which might be potentially important for the novel materials as magnetic carriers.  相似文献

Surface roughness caused by the grain growth of the RuCr non-magnetic intermediate layer (NMIL) was evaluated using the X-ray total reflection method. In the case of Ru NMIL, the value of root mean square roughness of NMIL (σ) increases from 0.59 to 1.45 nm with increase in Ar gas pressure and/or thickness of the Ru layer. Judging from the loop slope and normalized coercivity, the degree of magnetic isolation increases as σ increases, independent of the Cr content of a RuCr NMIL. Furthermore, it was found that σ of NMIL is strongly correlated with wettability to the seed layer material and is enhanced by the lattice extension of NMIL.  相似文献

The coercivity of a Co/Pt multilayer with out-of-plane anisotropy can be lowered greatly if it is grown onto an ultrathin NiO underlayer . By making use of this characteristic, a series of samples glass/NiO(10 Å)/[Co(4 Å)/Pt(5 Å)]3/Pt(x Å)/[Co(4 Å)/Pt(5 Å)]3 with different Pt spacer thickness have been prepared to determine the ferromagnetic (FM) coupling between Co layers across the Pt layer. The measurements of major and minor hysteresis loops have shown that the FM coupling between the top and bottom Co/Pt multilayers decreases monotonically with the Pt layer thickness and disappears above the Pt layer thickness of 40 Å. This thickness of 40 Å is much larger than that in the literature. In addition to the FM coupling between the top and bottom Co/Pt multilayers across the Pt spacer, there exists a weak biquadratic coupling, which induces the broad transition of the bottom Co/Pt multilayer.  相似文献

A conventional Ta/NiFe/Cu/NiFe/FeMn/Ta spin valve multilayer was prepared to investigate the exchange bias variations of the pinned NiFe layer. An exchange bias field of 560 Oe has been found in a valve multilayer with ultra-thin pinned NiFe layers (1 nm), in which a large constant magnetic field of 700 Oe was applied during film deposition procession. The observed results are attributed to the large applied magnetic field, which produced more net spins of the antiferromagnet at the interface. These interfacial uncompensated spins provide the net spin moments required for exchange coupling and bias.  相似文献

The influence of annealing on the structure and magnetic properties of amorphous Co/Zr and Co/Hf multilayer films was studied with particular attention to the dependence of the magnetic properties, thermal stability and crystallization process on layer composition and thickness. The temperature at which crystallization commences increases from 400 to 460 °C as the layer thickness dZr or dHf increases from 6 to 18 Å, and decreases from 450 to 400 °C as dCo increases from 12 to 18 Å. Multilayers containing 19–60 at% Zr were studied. The specific magnetization was found to increase even below the temperature at which crystallization commences. Our data are compared with non-multilayer Co–Zr amorphous films and rapidly quenched metallic glasses.  相似文献

High-frequency characteristics of CoFeVAlONb thin films were studied. A thin film of Co43.47Fe35.30V1.54Al5.55O9.93Nb4.21 is observed to exhibit excellent magnetic properties; magnetic coercivity of 1.24 Oe, uniaxial in-plane anisotropy field of 66.99 Oe, and saturation magnetization of 19.8 kG. The effective permeability of the film is as high as 1089 and is stable up to 1.8 GHz, and with ferromagnetic resonance over 3 GHz. This film also has very high electrical resistivity of about 628 μΩ cm. These superior properties make it ideal for high-frequency magnetic applications.  相似文献

In this Letter, the Exp-function method is used to seek generalized solitonary solutions of Riccati equation. Based on the Riccati equation and its generalized solitonary solutions, new exact solutions with three arbitrary functions of the (2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt equations are obtained. It is shown that the Exp-function method provides a straightforward and important mathematical tool for nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

Preferentially oriented half-metallic NiMnSb thin films have been fabricated by pulsed-laser deposition on Si(1 0 0) substrates. A nonmagnetic insulating MnOx layer was formed on the NiMnSb grain boundaries due to exposure to the air. In addition to the magnetism, transport properties of the grain-surface-oxided NiMnSb films have been investigated. The insulating conduction and significant magnetoresistance of the NiMnSb films were found to be associated with the insulating manganite oxide layer on the surface of NiMnSb grains.  相似文献

We studied the magnetization reversal in ultrathin [Co/Pt]n films (n=1, 2, and 4) using magneto-optical Kerr microscopy. These materials demonstrate unusual asymmetries in the activity of nucleation centers and domain wall motion. It was found that application of very high holding magnetic field prior to magnetization reversal, exceeding some critical value much larger than the apparent saturation field, suppresses the subsequent ‘asymmetric’ nucleation centers, activity. We revealed that the ‘asymmetric’ nucleation centers become active again after subsequent reversal cycles coming from a smaller holding field and studied how the asymmetry returns with the decrease of applied holding field. It was found that in low-coercivity ultrathin Co films, the asymmetry in domain wall velocity decreased sharply with the applied field increase and disappeared when the reversal field is greater than μ0H=1.5 mT.  相似文献

Pd nanocluster seeds were formed on a soft magnetic underlayer (SUL) using an electrochemical substitution reaction, and were utilized as an intermediate layer for a Co/Pd multilayered ([Co/Pd]n) perpendicular magnetic recording medium. A CoNiFeB film prepared with electroless deposition was used as SUL, which was immersed into a PdCl2 solution for the formation of Pd seeds. The Pd seeds were found to effectively reduce the size of magnetic domains in the [Co/Pd]n film deposited on them. The optimization of the concentration of the PdCl2 solution and the use of the pretreatment process with a SnCl2 solution were effective to obtain the smooth SUL surface with fine Pd seeds as small as 5 nm. The 20 nm-thick [Co/Pd]n film deposited on the optimized Pd seeds/CoNiFeB SUL exhibited a high coercivity of 7.8 kOe and a small magnetic domain size of 69 nm. These results indicated that the combination of the Pd seeds and the electroless-deposited SUL was desirable in terms of the improvement not only in the magnetic properties of [Co/Pd]n media but also in the mass productivity of the underlayer.  相似文献

We study the nonlinear dynamics of DNA which takes into account the twist-opening interactions due to the helicoidal molecular geometry. The small amplitude dynamics of the model is shown to be governed by a solution of a set of coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations. We analyze the modulational instability and solitary wave solution in the case. On the basis of this system, we present the condition for modulation instability occurrence and attention is paid to the impact of the backbone elastic constant K. It is shown that high values of K extend the instability region. Through the Jacobian elliptic function method, we derive a set of exact solutions of the twist-opening model of DNA. These solutions include, Jacobian periodic solution as well as kink and kink-bubble solitons.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with variable coefficients, and by using direct transformation of variables and functions, the explicit chirped gray one- and two-soliton solutions are presented. Based on the exact solutions, we in detail analyze the propagation characteristics of the chirped gray soliton, including the stability against either the deviation from integrable condition or the initial perturbation, and interaction between the chirped gray solitons. The results show that the gray soliton can be compressed by choosing the appropriate initial chirp, and the chirped gray pulses can stably propagate along optical fibers remaining the character of solitons.  相似文献

Using the F-expansion method, we systematically present exact solutions of the generalized nonlinear nonlinear Schrödinger equation with varying intermodal dispersion and nonlinear gain or loss. This approach allows us to obtain large variety of solutions in terms of Jacobi-elliptical and Weierstrass-elliptical functions. The chirped and unchirped spatiotemporal soliton solutions and trigonometric-function solutions have been also obtained as limiting cases. The dynamics of these spatiotemporal soliton is discussed in context of optical fiber communication. To visualize the propagation characteristics of chirp and unchirped dark-bright soliton solutions, few numerical simulations are given. It is found that wave profile of solitons depend on the group velocity dispersion and the gain or loss functions.  相似文献

Interlayer exchange coupling in dc-magnetron sputtered Tb29.6Co70.4/FePt bilayers with different annealing temperatures of the FePt film have been investigated. The dependence of ordering degree on perpendicular magnetic properties of the FePt film was studied. The Tb29.6Co70.4/FePt film has high perpendicular coercivity and high saturated magnetization about 7.5 kOe, and 302 emu/cm3, respectively as the substrate temperature is 500 °C and annealing at 500 °C for 30 min. It also shows a strong exchange coupling between this FePt layer and Tb29.6Co70.4 layer. We also examined the interface wall energy in the exchange coupled Tb29.6Co70.4/FePt double layers.  相似文献
