This paper studies the concept of controllability for infinite-dimensional linear control systems in Banach spaces. First, we prove that the set of admissible control operators for the semigroup generator is unchanged if we perturb the generator by the Desch–Schappacher perturbations. Second we show that exact controllability is not changed by such perturbations.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the modified projective synchronization problem for a class of four-dimensional chaotic system with uncertain parameters. The stochastic realization problem is considered of representing a stationary Gaussian process as the observation process of a Gaussian stochastic control system. The problem formulation includes that the lastm components of the observation process form the Gaussian white noise input process to the system. Identifiability of this class of systems motivates the problem. The results include a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a stochastic realization. A subclass of Gaussian stochastic control systems is defined that is almost a canonical form for this stochastic realization problem. Lie derivatives are often used in nonlinear control and system theory. In general, these Lie derivatives are computed symbolically using computer algebra software. Although this approach is well-suited for small and medium-size problems, it is difficult to apply this technique to very complicated systems. We suggest an alternative method to compute the values of iterated and mixed Lie derivatives by algorithmic differentiation.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of positive real control for two-dimensional (2-D) discrete delayed systems in the Fornasini–Marchesini second local state-space model. Attention is focused on the design of dynamic output feedback controllers, which guarantee that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and the closed-loop transfer function is extended strictly positive real. We first present a sufficient condition for extended strictly positive realness of 2-D discrete delayed systems. Based on this, a sufficient condition for the solvability of the positive real control problem is obtained in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI). When the LMI is feasible, an explicit parametrization of a desired output feedback controller is presented. Finally, we provide a numerical example to demonstrate the application of the proposed method.  相似文献

We investigate in this article Pontryagin’s maximum principle for a class of control problems associated with the primitive equations (PEs) of the ocean. These optimal problems involve a state constraint similar to that considered in Wang (2002) [7] for the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes (NS) equations. The main difference between this work and Wang (2002) [7] is that the nonlinearity in the PEs is stronger than in the three-dimensional NS systems.  相似文献

We consider the null-controllability problem for the Schrödinger and heat equations with boundary control. We concentrate on short-time, or fast, controls. We improve recent estimates (see [L. Miller, Geometric bounds on the growth rate of null-controllability cost for the heat equation in small time, J. Differential Equations 204 (2004) 202-226; L. Miller, How violent are fast controls for Schrödinger and plate vibrations?, Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 172 (2004) 429-456; L. Miller, Controllability cost of conservative systems: Resolvent condition and transmutation, J. Funct. Anal. 218 (2005) 425-444; L. Miller, The control transmutation method and the cost of fast controls, SIAM J. Control Optim. 45 (2006) 762-772]) on the norm of the operator associating to any initial state the minimal norm control driving the system to zero. Our main results concern the Schrödinger and heat equations in one space dimension. They yield new estimates concerning window problems for series of exponentials as described in [T.I. Seidman, The coefficient map for certain exponential sums, Nederl. Akad. Wetensch. Indag. Math. 48 (1986) 463-478] and in [T.I. Seidman, S.A. Avdonin, S.A. Ivanov, The “window problem” for series of complex exponentials, J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 6 (2000) 233-254]. These results are used, following [L. Miller, The control transmutation method and the cost of fast controls, SIAM J. Control Optim. 45 (2006) 762-772], to deal with the case of several space dimensions.  相似文献

This paper concerns a class of control systems governed by semilinear degenerate equations with boundary control in one-dimensional space. This paper is addressed to studying the exact controllability of stochastic Schrödinger equations by two controls. One is a boundary control and the other is an internal control in the diffusion term. By means of the duality argument, the control problem is converted into an observability problem for backward stochastic Schrödinger equations, and the desired observability estimate is obtained by a global Carleman estimate. At last, we give a result about the lack of exact controllability, which shows that the action of two controls is necessary.  相似文献

We consider affine control systems with the finite L2-gain property in the case the storage function is nondifferentiable. We generalize some classical results concerning the connection of the finite L2-gain property with the stability properties of the unforced system, the characterization of finite L2-gain by means of partial differential inequalities of the Hamilton-Jacobi type and the problem of giving to a system the finite L2-gain property by means of a feedback law. A system of Naghdi's shell equation with Dirichlet boundary control and collocated observation is considered. Results on the associated nonhomogeneous boundary value problem are presented. Based on these results, it is shown that the system is well-posed in the sense of D. Salamon and regular in the sense of G. Weiss. The expression of the corresponding feedthrough operator is explicitly found by means of Riemannian geometric method and partial Fourier transform. These properties make this partial differential control system parallel in many ways finite-dimensional ones in the general framework of well-posed and regular infinite-dimensional systems.  相似文献

A brief review is given of the problems of time-delay controller synthesis. The class of time-delay systems known as predictor systems is discussed in detail to exemplify some of the time-delay control theory problems of interest to the applied mathematician. We consider a nonrelativistic charged particle in a 1D moving potential well. This quantum system is subject to a control, which is the acceleration of the well. It is represented by a wave function solution of a Schrödinger equation, the position of the well together with its velocity. We prove the following controllability result for this bilinear control system: given ψ0 close enough to an eigenstate and ψf close enough to another eigenstate, the wave function can be moved exactly from ψ0 to ψf in finite time. Moreover, we can control the position and the velocity of the well. Our proof uses moment theory, a Nash-Moser implicit function theorem, the return method and expansion to the second order.  相似文献

The problem of strong stabilizability of linear systems of neutral type is investigated. We are interested in the case when the system has an infinite sequence of eigenvalues with vanishing real parts. This is the case when the main part of the neutral equation is not assumed to be stable in the classical sense. We discuss the notion of regular strong stabilizability and present an approach to stabilize the system by regular linear controls. The method covers the case of multivariable control and is essentially based on the idea of infinite-dimensional pole assignment proposed in [G.M. Sklyar, A.V. Rezounenko, A theorem on the strong asymptotic stability and determination of stabilizing controls, C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris Ser. I Math. 333 (8) (2001) 807-812]. Our approach is based on the recent results on the Riesz basis of invariant finite-dimensional subspaces and strong stability for neutral type systems presented in [R. Rabah, G.M. Sklyar, A.V. Rezounenko, Stability analysis of neutral type systems in Hilbert space, J. Differential Equations 214 (2) (2005) 391-428].  相似文献

We consider a sloped canal with friction that is governed by the Saint-Venant system with source term. We show that starting sufficiently close to a stationary constant subcritical initial state, we can control the system in finite time to a state in a C1C1 neighbourhood of any other stationary constant subcritical state by boundary control at the ends of the canal in such a way that during the process the system state remains continuously differentiable.  相似文献

This paper considers monotonic (or causal) homotopy between trajectories of control systems. The main result is the construction of an analogue of the simply connected covering space. The constructed covering Γ(Σ,x) has the structure of a manifold and satisfies the property that two trajectories are monotonic homotopic if and only if the end points of their liftings coincide.  相似文献

In this article, we investigates finite-time H_∞ control problem of Markovian jumping neural networks of neutral type with distributed time varying delays. The mathematical model of the Markovian jumping neural networks with distributed delays is established in which a set of neural networks are used as individual subsystems. Finite time stability analysis for such neural networks is addressed based on the linear matrix inequality approach.Numerical examples are given to illustrate the usefulness of our proposed method. The results obtained are compared with the results in the literature to show the conservativeness.  相似文献
