1,6-Bis(2-formylphenyl) hexane (I) was derived from 1,6-dibromohexane with salicylaldehyde and K2CO3 and the ligand (L) was derived from compound I and 2,6-diaminopyridine. Then, the Cu(II), Ni(II), Pb(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), and La(III) complexes with L were synthesized by the reaction of this ligand and Cu(NO3)2 · 3H2O, Ni(NO3)2 · 6H2O, Pb(NO3)2, Zn(NO3)2 · 6H2O, Cd(NO3)2 · 6H2O, and La(NO3)3 · 6H2O, respectively. The ligand and its metal complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H and 13C NMR, UV-Vis spectra, magnetic susceptibility, conductivity measurements, and mass spectra. All complexes are diamagnetic and the Cu(II) complex is binuclear. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

The solid-solid state reactions of o-aminobenzoic acid with Zn(OAc)2.2H2O, Cu(OAc)2 .H2O, Ni(OAc)2.4H2O and Mn(OAc)2.4H2O result in the formation of corresponding complexes M(OAB)2 (M = Zn(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ), Mn(IⅡ)). XRD, IR and elemental analysis methods have been used to characterize the solid products. The activation energies of these reactions, which are calculated from the kinetic data obtained by means of the isothermal electrical conductivity measurement method, have been found to increase in the order: Cu(OAc)2.H2O(37.7 kJ.mol-1)~Mn(OAc)2.4H2O (39.7kJ.mol-1) < Zn(OAc)2.2H2O (56.3 kJ.mol-1) < Ni(OAc)2.4H2O (85.2 kJ.mol-1). The trend is related to their crystal structures.  相似文献

Zinc, cadmium and mercury(II) complexes of 2-aminobenzothiazole (HL) have been prepared and studied by conductometric, i.r. and Raman methods: MX2·2HL (M  Zn, X  Cl, Br, I, NO3; M  Cd, X  I), MX2·HL (M  Cd, X  Cl, Br, NO3(3H2O); M  Hg, X  Cl, Br, I), M(ClO4)2; 1.5 HL (M  Zn(4H2O), Hg), Cd(ClO4)2·3HL·4H2O, HgNO3·L. A comparison of the i.r. spectra of the complexes with those of the ligand, its deuterated DL and HL · HBr derivatives excludes a coordination of the ligand through the amino nitrogen atom and supports its coordination through the ring nitrogen atom. The zinc halide complexes have a tetrahedral coordination. The nitrate and perchlorate anions are coordinated.  相似文献

Four new nickel(II), zinc(II), and cobalt(II) complexes, [Zn(L1)2]?·?H2O (1), [Ni(L1)2]?·?H2O (2), [Ni(L2)2] (3), and [Co(L3)2]?·?H2O (4), derived from hydroxy-rich Schiff bases 2-{[1-(5-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)methylidene]amino}-2-methylpropane-1,3-diol (HL1), 2-{[1-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)methylidene]amino}-2-ethylpropane-1,3-diol (HL2), and 2-{[1-(5-bromo-2-hydroxyphenyl)methylidene]amino}-2-methylpropane-1,3-diol (HL3) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray determination. Each metal in the complexes is six-coordinate in a distorted octahedral coordination. The Schiff bases coordinate to the metal atoms through the imino N, phenolate O, and one hydroxyl O. In the crystal structures of HL1 and the complexes, molecules are linked through intermolecular O–H···O hydrogen bonds, forming 1-D chains. The urease inhibitory activities of the compounds were evaluated and molecular docking study of the compounds with the Helicobacter pylori urease was performed.  相似文献

The complexes Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) with 4-oxo-4H-1-benzopyran-3-carboxaldehyde were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared and UV spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction patterns, magnetic susceptibility, thermal gravimetric analysis, conductivity and also solubility measurements in water, methanol and DMF solution at 298 K. They are polycrystalline compounds with various formula and different ratio of metal ion:ligand. Their formula are following: [MnL2(H2O)](NO3)2·2H2O, [CoL2](NO3)2·3H2O, [NiL2](NO3)2·3H2O, [CuL2](NO3)2·H2O and [ZnL3](NO3)2, where L = C10H6O3. The coordination of metal ions is through oxygen atoms present in 4-position of γ-pyrone ring and of aldehyde group of ligand. Chelates of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) obey Curie–Weiss law and they are high-spin complexes with the weak ligand fields. The thermal stability of analyzed complexes was studied in air at 293–1,173 K. On the basis of the thermoanalytical curves, it appears that thermal stability of anhydrous analysed chelates changed following: Cu (423 K) < Zn (438 K) ~ Co (440 K) < Ni (468 K). The gaseous products of thermal decomposition of those compounds in air atmosphere are following: CO2, CO, NO2, N2O, hydrocarbons and in case of hydrates also water. The molar conductance data confirm that the all studied complexes are 1:2 electrolytes in DMF solution.  相似文献

The present work describes the preparation and characterization of some metal ion complexes derived from 4-formylpyridine-4 N-(2-pyridyl)thiosemicarbazone (HFPTS). The complexes have the formula; [Cd(HFPTS)2H2O]Cl2, [CoCl2(HPTS)]·H2O, [Cu2Cl4(HPTS)]·H2O, [Fe (HPTS)2Cl2]Cl·3H2O, [Hg(HPTS)Cl2]·4H2O, [Mn(HPTS)Cl2]·5H2O, [Ni(HPTS)Cl2]·2H2O, [UO2(FPTS)2(H2O)]·3H2O. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, spectral (IR, 1H-NMR and UV–Vis), thermal and magnetic moment measurements. The neutral bidentate coordination mode is major for the most investigated complexes. A mononegative bidentate for UO2(II), and neutral tridentate for Cu(II). The tetrahedral arrangement is proposed for most investigated complexes. The biological investigation displays the toxic activity of Hg(II) and UO2(II) complexes, whereas the ligand displays the lowest inhibition activity toward the most investigated microorganisms.  相似文献

The complexes of 4-chloro-2-methoxybenzoic acid anion with Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+ were obtained as polycrystalline solids with general formula M(C8H6ClO3)2·nH2O and colours typical for M(II) ions (Mn – slightly pink, Co – pink, Ni – slightly green, Cu – turquoise and Zn – white). The results of elemental, thermal and spectral analyses suggest that compounds of Mn(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) are tetrahydrates whereas those of Co(II) and Ni(II) are pentahydrates. The carboxylate groups in these complexes are monodentate. The hydrates of 4-chloro-2-methoxybenzoates of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) heated in air to 1273 K are dehydrated in one step in the range of 323–411 K and form anhydrous salts which next in the range of 433–1212 K are decomposed to the following oxides: Mn3O4, CoO, NiO and ZnO. The final products of decomposition of Cu(II) complex are CuO and Cu. The solubility value in water at 293 K for all complexes is in the order of 10–3 mol dm–3. The plots of χM vs. temperature of 4-chloro-2-methoxybenzoates of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) follow the Curie–Weiss law. The magnetic moment values of Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+ and Cu2+ ions in these complexes were determined in the range of 76−303 K and they change from: 5.88–6.04 μB for Mn(C8H6ClO3)2·4H2O, 3.96–4.75 μB for Co(C8H6ClO3)2·5H2O, 2.32–3.02 μB for Ni(C8H6ClO3)2·5H2O and 1.77–1.94 μB for Cu(C8H6ClO3)2·4H2O.  相似文献

New complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) nitrates, chlorides, and perchlorates with 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) were obtained and examined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, X-ray powder diffraction, and electronic absorption and IR spectroscopy. The cations of all the complexes have linear trinuclear structures. Ligand L is coordinated to the metal ions in a bidentate bridging fashion through the N(1) and N(2) atoms of the heterocycle. The coordination polyhedron of the metal atoms is a distorted octahedron. The molecular and crystal structures of the complexes [Co3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · 3C2H5OH · 3.75H2O and [M3L6(H2O)6](ClO4)6 · 6H2O (M = Cu2+ and Ni2+) were determined.  相似文献

The following zinc (II), cadmium (II) and mercury (II) complexes of 2-methyl-benzoxazole (L) have been prepared and studied by conductometric and i.r. methods: MLX2 (MCd, XCl, Br; MHg, XCl), HgL1.5X2 (XBr, ClO4), ML2X2 (MZn, XCl, Br, I, NO3; MCd, Hg, XI, NO3), ZnL3(ClO4)2·2H2O, CdL3(ClO4)2·3H2O. The frequency decrease of the ligand bands at 1614 and 1573 cm−1 having a ν(CN) and the increase of the ligand band at 918 cm−1 having a ν(CO) contribution indicate that in the complexes the ligand is N-bonded to the metal.  相似文献

New solid complexes of a herbicide known as dicamba (3,6-dichloro-2-methoxybenzoic acid) with Pb(II), Cd(II), Cu(II) and Hg(II) of the general formula M(dicamba)2·xH2O (M=metal, x=0-2) and Zn2(OH)(dicamba)3·2H2O have been prepared and studied. The complexes have different crystal structures. The carboxylate groups in the lead, cadmium and copper complexes are bidentate, chelating, symmetrical, in Hg(dicamba)2·2H2O - unidentate, and in the zinc salt - bidentate, bridging, symmetrical. The anhydrous compounds decompose in three stages, except for the lead salt whose decomposition proceeds in four stages. The main gaseous decomposition products are CO2, CH3OH, HCl and H2O. Trace amounts of compounds containing an aromatic ring were also detected. The final solid decomposition products are oxychlorides of metals and CuO. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

New bi- and trihomonuclear Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) complexes with sulfa-guanidine Schiff bases have been synthesized for potential chemotherapeutic use. The complexes are characterized using elemental and thermal (TGA) analyses, mass spectra (MS), molar conductance, IR, 1H-NMR, UV-Vis, and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra as well as magnetic moment measurements. The low molar conductance values denote non-electrolytes. The thermal behavior of these chelates shows that the hydrated complexes lose water of hydration in the first step followed by loss of coordinated water followed immediately by decomposition of the anions and ligands in subsequent steps. IR and 1H-NMR data reveal that ligands are coordinated to the metal ions by two or three bidentate centers via the enol form of the carbonyl C=O group, enolic sulfonamide S(O)OH, and the nitrogen of azomethine. The UV-Vis and ESR spectra as well as magnetic moment data reveal that formation of octahedral [Mn2L1(AcO)2(H2O)6] (1), [Co2(L1)2(H2O)8] (2), [Ni2L1(AcO)2(H2O)6] (3), [Mn3L2(AcO)3(H2O)9] (5), [Co3L2(AcO)3(H2O)9] · 4H2O (6), [Ni3L2(AcO)3(H2O)9] · 7H2O (7), [Mn3L3(AcO)3(H2O)6] (9), [Co2(HL3)2(H2O)8] · 4H2O (10), [Ni3L3(AcO)3(H2O)9] (11), [Mn3L4(AcO)3(H2O)9] · H2O (13), [Co2(HL4)2(H2O)8] · 5H2O (14), and [Ni3L4(AcO)3(H2O)9] (15) while [Zn2L1(AcO)2(H2O)2] (4), [Zn3L2(AcO)3(H2O)3] · 2H2O (8), [Zn3L3(AcO)3(H2O)3] · 3H2O (12), and [Zn3L4(AcO)3(H2O)3] · 2H2O (16) are tetrahedral. The electron spray ionization (ESI) MS of the complexes showed isotope ion peaks of [M]+ and fragments supporting the formulation.  相似文献

Crystal Structure of the Magnesium Octachlorotrimercurate(II)-hexahydrate MgHg3Cl8 · 6 H2O Colourless crystals of MgHg3Cl8 · 6 H2O were obtained by crystallization from aqueous solutions of MgCl2 and HgCl2. There were no indications of the existence of the reported compounds MgHgCl4 · 6 H2O and MgHg2Cl6 · 6 H2O. The crystal structure of the triclinic MgHg3Cl8 · 6 H2O consists of linear pseudo HgCl2 molecules, binuclear Hg2Cl6 anions and octahedral Mg(OH2)6 kations.  相似文献

Crown Thioether Complexes of Lead (II), Zinc(II), and Cadmium (II). Crystal Structures of [PbL2(ClO4)2] and [ZnL2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN (L = 1,4,7 - Trithiacyclononane) The reaction of 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane (L) with the perchlorate salts of lead(II) and zinc(II) in CH3CN (2:1) affords colorless crystals of [PbL2(ClO4)2] and [ZnL2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN, respectively, The crystal structures have been determined. The PbII centre is coordinated to six sulfur atoms (the average distance Pb? S is 3.076 Å) and two oxygen atoms, one of each ClO4? anion (monodentate ClO4?). A distorted square antiprismatic polyhedron is thus generated. In [ZnL2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN the zinc(II) centre is octahedrally surrounded by six sulphur atoms (average distance Zn? S = 2.494 Å); the ClO4? anions are not coordinated. For[CdL2](ClO4)2 · H2O an analogous structure is proposed.  相似文献

A series of polymeric cobalt(II), nickel(II), zinc(II) and cadmium(II) azido complexes with hydrazine of the type [M(N2H4)(H2O)(N3)Cl]n, [M(N2H4)(N3)2]n and [M(N2H4)2(N3)2]n have been prepared. These were characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility measurements, electronic and IR spectra. The complexes are highly insoluble in polar and non polar solvents. All the complexes decompose with explosion at different temperatures between 100°C to 200°C. The magnetic moment and electronic spectral data for Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes suggest that the complexes have octahedral structure. The ligand-field parameters (10 Dq, B, β, β° and LFSE) have also been calculated for all Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes which indicate a significant covalent character of M-L bonds. The IR spectra of the complexes show that the azide group and hydrazine molecule both act as bidentate bridging ligands in [M(N2H4)(H2O)(N3)Cl]n and [M(N2H4)(N3)2]n type complexes but the azide group is terminally bonded to metal in all [M(N2H4)2(N3)2]n type complexes.  相似文献

Two new zinc(II) and cadmium(II) complexes, [Zn(PDT)2(NCS)2] (1) and [Cd((PDT)2I1.6(H2O)0.4(OH)0.4] · 0.4H2O (2) (“PDT” is the abbreviation of 3-(2-pyridyl)-5, 6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and studied by X-ray crystallography. Zinc(II) in 1 is six coordinate ZnN6. 2 is a co-crystal with cadmium(II) being 60% six-coordinated with a CdN4I2 environment and 40% seven-coordinated with a CdN4O2I environment. The supramolecular features in these complexes are guided/controlled by weak directional intermolecular S ··· π, C–H ··· π, C–H ··· I, and π ··· π interactions.  相似文献

New mixed-ligand complexes with empirical formulae M(4-bpy)L2·1.5H2O (M(II)=Mn, Co), Ni(4-bpy)2L2 and Cu(4-bpy) L2·H2O (where: 4-bpy=4,4'-bipyridine, L=CC L2HCOO-) have been isolated in pure state. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, ir spectroscopy, conductivity (in methanol, dimethylformamide and dimethylsulfoxide solutions) and magnetic and x-ray diffraction measurements. The Mn(II) and Co(II) complexes are isostructural. The way of metal-ligand coordinations discussed. the ir spectra suggest that the carboxylate groups are bonded with metal(II) in the same way (Ni, Cu) or in different way (Mn, Co). The solubility in water is in the order of 19.40·10-3÷1.88·10-3ł mol dm-3ł. During heating the hydrate complexes lose all water in one step. The anhydrous complexes decompose to oxides via several intermediate compounds. A coupled TG-MS system was used to analyse the principal volatile products of obtained complexes. The principal volatile products of thermal decomposition of complexes in air are: H2O2 +, CO2 +, HCl+, Cl2 +, NO+ and other.
