Hg199m was produced from natural HgO by fastn irradiation. The cascade decay was investigated with scintillation spectrometers by application of the summing technique. The following results were obtained: half-lifeT 1/2=(43±0,5) min; energy of the isomeric transitionE γ1=(375±3)keV; conversion coefficients α K375=3,05±0,25; αtotal=5,45±0,25; yielding the multipole order of the isomeric transition to beM4+(25±15)%E5; energy of the second transitionE γ2=(159±2)keV; conversion coefficients α K159=0,30±0,03; αtotal=0,9±0,1, confirming the multipolarityE2 of this transition.  相似文献

79 mBr was produced by irradiation of natural Br with fast neutrons. The half-lifeT 1/2=(4.87±0.15) sec and the energyE γ=(208±1) keV were remeasured. For the first time the conversion coefficients were determined to beα K=0.25±0.02 and αtotal=0.28±0.05, yielding the multipolarityE3 for the isomeric transition.  相似文献

The level structure of the127Xe nucleus has been studied through the125Te(α, 2n)127Xe reaction atE α=27 MeV by in-beamγ-ray spectroscopic methods including three-parameterγ-γ-t coincidences, angular distribution and linear polarization as well as lifetime measurements. The results supplemented current information and, in particular, established the existence of a new isomeric state having a half-life of 25±3 ns.  相似文献

Co60m was produced by the reaction Co59 (n,γ) Co60m ; its decay has been investigated by scintillation spectrometers. The half-period has been remeasured yielding a value ofT 1/2=(10·35 ±0·20) min. The isomeric decay mainly leads to the Co60 ground state by a (58·6±0·6) keV transition. TheK-conversion coefficientα K= 41±3 and the total conversion coefficientα=47±3 indicate the transition to beM3 and the spin of Co60m to be 2+. Further Co60m decays by beta transitions to Ni60. The beta component (8·6±1·2)·10?3%, log ft=7·32 leading to a (2·16±0·02) MeV level has been measured for the first time. A second component (0·24±0·03)%, log ft=7·23 leads to the 1·33 MeV level. The 2·16 MeV level decays to the Ni60 ground state mainly by a 0·83–1·33 MeV cascade, in a few cases by a direct transition. The spin of the 2·16 MeV level is 2+. Zr90m was produced by the reaction Zr90 (n,n′) Zr90m . The half-period was measured yielding a value ofT 1/2=(0·83±0·03) sec. Zr90m decays in the following way: (77±5) % by a direct (2·31±0·02) MeV —E 5 transition to the Zr ground state and (23±5)% by a (132·5±1·5) keV-(2·18±0·03) MeV cascade detected for the first time in the isomeric decay. TheK-conversion coefficient of the 132·5 keV transition isα k=(2·2±0·3) indicating this transition to beE3 and the spin of the 2·18 MeV level to be 2+. The Zr90m -decay sheme is in accordance with the level sequence of Zr90 as measured in the Nb90 decay.  相似文献

The decay characteristics of131I have been determined with high accuracy. The total branch from131I to131mXe has been measured to be 1.086±0.007%. The half life of131mXe has been measured as 11.770±0.012 days. Theγ-ray spectrum has been determined and new transitions at 85.92, 232.17, 295.83, 302.44, and 449.57 keV established. The position, spin and parity were established for a 9/2? level at 341.140 keV and spin and parity of 7/2? established for a level at 666.921 keV. The log f1t for the unique firstforbiddenβ transition from 7/2+ 131I to 11/2? 131mXe has been calculated to be 9.78.  相似文献

Hg199m was produced by bombarding natural HgO with fast neutrons. The conversion electrons of the cascade decay were investigated with Si(Li)-counters. By application of the summing technique the conversion coefficients andL-shell fluorescence yields of Hg were determined. The gamma rays were studied with a Ge(Li)-counter. The following results were obtained: half-lifeT 1/2=(42.6± 0.2) min; energies of the transitionsE γ1=(374.1± 0.1) keV,E γ1=(158.3± 0.1)keV; intensity ratio of the gamma raysI γ(158 keV):I γ(374keV)=(424± 42):100; conversion coefficients αK158=0.30± 0.03, αtotal158=0.94± 0.09, αK158LM...158=0.47± 0.02, αL158M...158=3.10± 0.16;αK374=3.51± 0.28,αtotal1374=6.19±0.47,αK374LM...374=1.32±0.04, αL374M...374=2.14±0.11;L-shell fluorescence yields \(\bar \omega _L \) =0.40± 0.04, ωKL=0.41±0.04.  相似文献

Short lived isomers of Yb were produced by neutron irradiation of enriched isotopes and have been investigated with the aid of scintillation spectrometers. Yb169m decays with a half-life ofT 1/2=(46±2) sec emitting only L-radiation. This decay is assumed to be the same as the E 3-transition of 24 keV following the electron capture of Lu169. Yb175m [T 1/2=(0,072±0,005) sec] emitsγ-rays of (495±15) keV. The measured K-conversion coefficientα K 495=0,24±0,04 and the total conversion coefficientα 4 5=0,6±0,3 indicate the transition to be M3. Yb177m [T 1/2=(6,4±0,1) sec] decays by a cascade of twoγ-rays. The isomeric (228±3) keV-transition is followed by a (104±1,5) keV-radiation. The measured conversion coefficients areα K 228=4,1±0,4 andα K 228=6,5±0,5 for the first transition andα K 104=0,39±0,05 andα 104=0,51±0,05 for the second, indicating a M3-E1-cascade. For the M 3-transition the measured coefficients agree well with those calculated for a nucleus of finite size, but they differ by a factor of 1,5 for the E1-transition.  相似文献

Lifetime measurements of two excited states in131Xe populated by the decay of131I have been carried out. Analysis of data, delivered from a delayed γ-γ-coincidence experiment with a Ge(Li)-Plasticdetector combination, resulted in the following values:T 1/2 of 341.2 keV level in131Xe: (2.15 ± 0.07) nsT 1/2 of 404.8 keV level in131Xe: <0.5 ns.  相似文献

Co58m , Co58g and Co55 were obtained by radiating nickel-foiles with deuterons of energies 11,5 MeV and 2,07 MeV. The γ-radiation was measured with NaJ scintillation spectrometers. For the isomeric transition of Co58m was determinedT 1/2=(9.15±0.1)h,T γ=(25±1)keV,α K=2200±300 and αL+M=1100±300. From these values it follows, that the radiation is ofM3-type. Twoγ-energies of 95 keV and 1322 keV were found belonging to Co55.  相似文献

86mRb was produced by irradiation of natural Rb and Rb enriched in87Rb (99.2%) with fast neutrons. The half-life ofT 1/2=(61.2±1.0) sec and the energy ofE ρ=(556.03±0.25) keV were remeasured. The experimental conversion coefficients αtot=0.0184±0.0015 andα K =0.0158±0.0015 yield the multipolarity of E4 for the isomeric transition. The spin of 6? was assigned to the isomeric state. It is proposed that the spin 6? is formed by coupling ap 3/2-proton and ag 9/2-neutron according to Nordheim's “weak” rule.  相似文献

Mn52m(T 1/2=21 m) was produced by irradiating iron-foiles with deuterons ofE d =9 MeV. Coincidences ofγ-rays with the main 1434 keV-transition had been sought for with the aid of a scintillation fast-slow-coincidence circuit. There was no evidence ofγ-lines which had been found earlier byKatoh et al. atγ-energies 700, 940, 1020, 1150, 1370, 1520 keV. If these transitions exist, their relative intensities are less than 0.7% (700 keV) and 0.3% (all others) per decay of Mn52m.  相似文献

The reactions58Ni+102Pd→160W and58Ni+106Cd→164Os were investigated to search for new decay data of neutron deficient nuclei. Excitation energies of the compound nuclei covered a range from 47 to 89 MeV. Velocity separation of the evaporation residues and position time correlations with the a decays of the implanted nuclei were used. The following new decay data were measured:162Os (Eα=(6611 ±30) keV, T1/2=(1.9±0.7) ms);158W (T1/2=(0.9±0.3) ms);158mW (E=1.88 MeV, Eα=(8280±30) keV, T1/2=(0.01-1) ms);155mLu (Eα=(5575±10) keV); β decay of156Ta (T1/2 > 10 ms) to the 8+ yrast isomer in156Hf. A cross section of 5μb was measured for the new isotope156Ta produced in a p3n evaporation channel from160W at 64 MeV excitation energy.  相似文献

The electron capture of176m Lu to the ground state and to the first excited state of176Yb has been observed by measuring the YbK x-rays and the 82,2 keV gamma-rays from the gamma decay of the first excited state in176Yb. With the data of the 88,36 keV gammarays following the beta decay of176m Lu to the first excited state of176Hf the electron capture/beta decay ratio of176m Lu was found to be (0,95±0,16)·10?4. The electron capture branching ratio to the ground state and to the first excited state of176Yb was found to be 40/60±30%. By analyzing the 88,36keV gamma-rays and the HfKx-rays the halflife of176m Lu was evaluated to be 3,66±0,04 h. The value for theK-conversion coefficient of the 88,36keV transition was determined from the x-ray/gamma-ray ratio to be 1,19±0,09.  相似文献

The intensities of the 37keV- and 49keV-γ-rays of Br80m have been measured with the aid of Na J-scintillation spectrometers and compared with the intensity of the conversion electrons registered by an anthracene split crystal spectrometer. It was possible to separate the 49 keV-γ-radiation from the intense 37 keV-line by selctive absorption with balanced Sm- and Gd-filters. The internal conversion coefficientsα(49 keV)=298±30 andα (37 keV)=1,59±0,10 are in good agreement with the calculated values for M3- and E1-transitions. The half life was measured yielding a value ofT 1/2=(4,40±0,05) h.  相似文献

The decays of Rh97g and Rh97m were investigated using Ge(Li)- and Si(Li)-detectors and a Ge(Li)—Ge(Li)-coincidence circuit. The isomeric transition with an energy of 259 keV was identified by its conversion electrons and decays with a half-life of (48.0±0.8) min. Therefore, the half-lives (30.3±0.9) min and (47.9±0.6) min obtained from theγ-studies were attributed to the decays of Rh97g and Rh97m respectively. The proposed decay schemes have 31 excited states of Ru97 and account for 84 of the 110 observedγ-transitions, especially for the 37 strongest ones. Twelve of the proposed levels having spins and parities 1/2? or 3/2? and excitation energies between 2200 keV and 3600 keV are interpreted as being due to 2p 1/2-neutron-hole-states.  相似文献

The directional correlations ofγ-γ andγ-electron cascades in119Sb are measured, in the decay of119mTe. Bothγ-γ andγ-electron directional correlation coefficients are determined for the cascades (energies in keV): 153.5-1212.7, 942.3-270.5, (976.2+979.3)-270.5, 1095.7-270.5 and 1136.8-270.5. For the cascades 912.6-1366.2, 2013.4-270.5 and 2089.9-270.5γ-γ directional correlations are measured. The mixing ratios evaluated are:δ(M2/E1, 153.5 keV)=0.0003±0.0023,δ(E2/M1, 270.5 keV)=-0.39±0.29,δ(E2/M1, 942.3 keV)= ?0.26±0.12,δ(E3/M2,1095.7 keV)=?0.01±0.07, andδ(M3/E2,1212.7 keV) =0.004±0.007. Using a gaseous Xe127 source as exciting radiation resonance fluorescence from the 202.8 keV level in I127 has been observed. The detection of the weak resonance effect in the presence of a strong 375 keV radiation was possible because of the high energy resolution of a Li-drifted Germanium detector. Assuming a transition energy ofQ ECO =543 keV for the Xe127-I127decay the mean lifetime of the 202.8 keV level was determined to be τ=(0.56±0.09)nsec.  相似文献

A precision study of the decay of134Cs g and134Cs m has been made, using ordinary Ge(Li) spectrometers and ā Compton-suppression spectrometer. The logft value of the second forbidden nonuniqueβ-decay to134Xe has been measured to be 13.0±0.2. TheM4γ-ray transition in134Csm(8?) decay has been measured to haveα K= 73±7 and a hindrance of 7.0 over the Moskowski estimate. This is discussed in terms of the level configurations and the analogous transition in133Xe. A new intensity limit of 2×10?6 has been set for the zero-phonon transition between the 4+ and 2+ members of the two-phonon triplet. This leads to an upper limit forB(E2)4→2′, greater than 905. This and the more preciseγ-ray intensity values are discussed in relation to presently available nuclear models.  相似文献

By delayed coincidence techniques, the half-life of the 344 keV level in105Pd, populated by the decay of105Ag, was measured:T 1/2=(1.01±0.05) · 10?9s. A comparison of this value with the prediction of the single-particle model shows good agreement for the 344 keVE2 transition.  相似文献

An activity with the decay propertiesT 1/2=(8.0±0.3)sec andE γ=(283±5)keV has been produced bySchardt andGoodman by proton irradiation of thin layers of evaporated73Ge and74Ge on thick gold backings. This activity was interpreted as the new isomer74mAs. In the present experiment a search for74mAs was carried out using the reactions75As(n, 2n),71Ga(α, n) and74Ge(d, 2n).74mAs could not be detected. Upper limits for the reaction cross sections were determined. It is discussed that the reported properties of74mAs resemble the known properties of197mAu.  相似文献
