We quantify multiparticle quantum entanglement in a system of N two-level atoms interacting with a squeezed vacuum state of the electromagnetic field. We calculate the amount of quantum entanglement present among one hundred such two-level atoms and also show the variation of that entanglement with the radiation field parameter. We show the continuous variation of the amount of quantum entanglement as we continuously increase the number of atoms from N = 2 to N = 100. We also discuss that the multiparticle correlations among the N two-level atoms are made up of all possible bipartite correlations among the N atoms.  相似文献

By considering a s-wave Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer superconductor, as a many body system, subject to a weak constant external potential, U, using perturbed linearized Gorkov equations at zero temperature and calculating perturbed Green’s functions up to the first approximation, we obtain the two-particle space-spin density matrix of the system. Then, we investigate the effect of the potential on bipartite entanglement (via concurrence) of electron spins of a Cooper pair and also quantum discord in terms of the potential and the relative distance of electrons of a Cooper pair, r. At some fixed values of r, concurrence is zero and does not change until U increases and receives to a special value. Specially, quantum entanglement length and quantum correlation length (in which quantum discord becomes zero) with respect to the potential are derived. We result that by increasing the potential, these lengths are increased. At higher values of U, quantum correlation length is not very sensitive to changes in U. Finally, the relation between these lengths is given.  相似文献

By taking into account the quantum erasing effect(QEE), the quantum discord (QD) behavior of a two-qubit system with different initial states are investigated in detail. We find that the quantum correlation can be saved under a scheme of two spatially separated atoms, each located in a leaky cavity through the quantum erasing method. It is shown that QEE can weaken the effects of decoherence, and preserve the maximum information of the coherent item. No matter whether the two atoms are in the mixted or pure state, one can robusty save their initial quantum correlation even the number of erasing events is finite. If one limit the erasing events N, the QEE can be used to protect the initial quantum correlation independently of the state in which it is stored, the values of QD is always nearly equal to the initial QD values, and it is nearly independent of the decoherence, which imply us more encourage strategy for protecting the quantum correlation properties in some quantum systems.  相似文献

We investigate quantum echo control and Bell state swapping for two atomic qubits (TAQs) coupling to two-mode vacuum cavity field (TMVCF) environment via two-photon resonance. We discuss the effect of initial entanglement factor ?? and relative coupling strength R=g1/g2 on quantum state fidelity of TAQs, and analyze the relation between three kinds of quantum entanglement(C(ρa),C(ρf),S(ρa)) and quantum state fidelity, then reveal physical essence of quantum echo of TAQs. It is shown that in the identical coupling case R=1, periodic quantum echo of TAQs with π cycle is always produced, and the value of fidelity can be controlled by choosing appropriate ?? and atom-filed interaction time. In the non-identical coupling case R≠1, quantum echoes with periods of π, 2π and 4π can be formed respectively by adjusting R. The characteristics of quantum echo results from the non-Markovianity of TMVCF environment, and then we propose Bell state swapping scheme between TAQs and two-mode cavity field.  相似文献

This paper investigates the influence of the spin squeezing parameter γ, the external magnetic field B and the temperature T on the concurrence (C), the quantum discord (QD), and the geometric quantum discord (GQD) in the two-qubit two-axis spin squeezing model in thermal equilibrium under an external magnetic field. The results show that the spin squeezing parameter γ has a positive effect on all three correlations. When the system is in the ground state, the external magnetic field B has a weakening effect on the three types of quantum correlations. Particularly, the spin squeezing parameter can be used to alleviate the destructive effect of the magnetic field on the geometric quantum discord. At a relatively high temperature, the externally applied magnetic field B helps enhance the quantum discord (QD). Further, the quantum discord is more robust than concurrence, and thus is more suitable for use as a quantum resource in information processing.  相似文献

We compute quantum dissonance Q (non-entangled quantum correlation), entanglement E, quantum discord D (total quantum correlation) and classical correlation C for spin pairs at any distance in the infinite XY spin-1/2 chains, i.e., the anisotropic XY model and the isotropic XY model with three-spin interactions. We obtain two simple dominance relations: CE and DE + Q Except this, there are no other simple ordering relations between them. We also show that Q can detect the special points of the system where the entanglement just appears or completely disappears. In addition, it is worthwhile to mention that dissonance and classical correlation can also clearly spotlight the critical points of quantum phase transitions in XY spin-1/2 chains.  相似文献

By taking into account the intrinsic decoherence and the external magnetic field, quantum discord(QD) behaviors in two-qubit spin squeezing model are investigated in detail. It is found that the magnitude of quantum discord is strongly dependent on the initial states, the squeezing interaction μ, the magnetic field Ω and the purity r of initial states. With t, one can obtain the steady quantum discord (SQD) value, the environmental decoherence cannot entirely destroy the quantum correlation. Based on the analysis of the SQD, the conditions about the existence of SQD are obtained with different initial states. Varying the parameters μ, Ω and r not only can weaken the effects of decoherence but also can improve the magnitude of QD and SQD. The effects of the parameters μ and Ω on the QD and SQD display so different and complicated features that one cannot get an uniform law about them, while the values of QD and SQD are improved with increasing r. Properly tuning the parameters μ, Ω and r, one can obtain a larger value of QD or SQD.  相似文献

We study the nonlocality dynamics for two models of atoms in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED); the first model contains atoms in a single cavity undergoing nearest-neighbor interactions with no initial correlation, and the second contains atoms confined in n different and noninteracting cavities, all of which were initially prepared in a maximally correlated state of n qubits corresponding to the atomic degrees of freedom. The nonlocality evolution of the states in the second model shows that the corresponding maximal violation of a multipartite Bell inequality exhibits revivals at precise times, defining, nonlocality sudden deaths and nonlocality sudden rebirths, in analogy with entanglement. These quantum correlations are provided analytically for the second model to make the study more thorough. Differences in the first model regarding whether the array of atoms inside the cavity is arranged in a periodic or open fashion are crucial to the generation or redistribution of quantum correlations. This contribution paves the way to using the nonlocality multipartite correlation measure for describing the collective complex behavior displayed by slightly interacting cavity QED arrays.  相似文献

In this paper, we find that the geometric global quantum discord proposed by Xu and the total quantum correlations proposed by Hassan and Joag are identical. Moreover, we work out the analytical formulas of the geometric global quantum discord and geometric quantum discord both for two-qubit X states, respectively. We further illustrate how to use these formulas to deal with a few particular examples. We also compare the results achieved by using three kinds of geometric quantum discords. The geometric quantum discord is verified as a tight lower bound of the geometric global quantum discord for two-qubit X states.  相似文献

We study the pairwise quantum discord (QD) for a symmetric multi-qubit system in different types of noisy channels, such as phase-flip, amplitude damping, phase-damping, and depolarizing channels. Using the QD and geometric quantum discord (GMQD) to quantify quantum correlations, some analytical and numerical results are presented. The results show that, the QD dynamics is strongly related to the number of spin particles N as well as the initial parameter ?? of the one-axis twisting collective state. With the number of spin particles N increasing, the amount of the QD increases. However, when the amount of the QD arrives at a stable maximal value, the QD is independence of the number of spin particles N increasing. The behavior of the QD is symmetrical during a period 0 ≤ ?? ≤ 2π. Moreover, we compare the QD dynamics with the GMQD for a symmetric multi-qubit system in different types of noisy channels.  相似文献

Using the π-tangle, we investigate entanglement properties of a quantum system consisted of a Jaynes-Cummings system and an isolated atom. We obtain analytical expressions of one-tangle, two-tangle and the π-tangle. Entanglement behaviors of the system are analyzed according to the analytical results. We find that the one-tangles have some relations with geometrical discord and entanglement sudden death never occurs in the total system.  相似文献

Already Schrödinger tried to proceed towards a purely wave theory of quantum phenomena. However, he should give up and accept Born’s probabilistic interpretation of the wave function. A simple mathematical fact was behind this crucial decision. The wave function of a composite system S = (S 1, S 2) belongs to the tensor product of two L2 spaces and not to their Cartesian product. It was impossible to consider it as a vector function ψ(x) = (ψ 1(x), ψ 2(x)), xR 3. Here we solved this problem. It is shown that there exists a mathematical formalism that provides a possibility to describe composite quantum systems without appealing to the tensor product of the Hilbert state space, and one can proceed with their Cartesian product. It may have important consequences for the understanding of entanglement and applications to quantum information theory. It seems that “quantum algorithms” can be realized on the basis of classical wave mechanics. However, the interpretation of the proposed mathematical formalism is a difficult problem and needs additional studies.  相似文献

Based on the tensor network representations, we have developed an efficient scheme to calculate the global geometric entanglement as a multipartite entanglement measure for the three-leg spin tubes. From the geometric entanglement, the phase diagram of a spin-3 / 2 isosceles triangle spin tube has been investigated varying the base interaction α. Two Berezinsky-Kosterlitz-Thouless phase transitions are estimated to be αc1 ? 0.68 and αc2 ? 3.85, respectively. Then, even though the spin tube is in gapless spin liquid phases for α<αc1 and α >αc2, the geometrical structure difference between the groundstate wavefunctions for the two regions is found to reflect the global geometric entanglement that contains bipartite and multipartite contributions. Further, the phase transition points from the von Neumann entropies and fidelity are consistent with that from the geometric entanglement. As a result, the global geometric entanglement can be used to explore a geometrical nature of quantum phases as well as an indicator for quantum phase transitions in many-body lattice systems.  相似文献

In this study, using the concept of relative entropy as a distance measure of correlations we investigate the important issue of evaluating quantum correlations such as entanglement, dissonance and classical correlations for 2 n -dimensional Bell-diagonal states. We provide an analytical technique, which describes how we find the closest classical states(CCS) and the closest separable states(CSS) for these states. Then analytical results are obtained for quantum discord of 2 n -dimensional Bell-diagonal states. As illustration, some special cases are examined. Finally, we investigate the additivity relation between the different correlations for the separable generalized Bloch sphere states.  相似文献

Natural thermal entanglement between atoms of a linear arranged four coupled cavities system is studied. The results show that there is no thermal pairwise entanglement between atoms if atom-field interaction strength f or fiber-cavity coupling constant J equals to zero, both f and J can induce thermal pairwise entanglement in a certain range. Numerical simulations show that the nearest neighbor concurrence CAB is always greater than alternate concurrence CAC in the same condition. In addition, the effect of temperature T on the entanglement of alternate qubits is much stronger than the nearest neighbor qubits.  相似文献

We propose a total measure of multi-particle quantum correlation in a system of N two-level atoms (N qubits). We construct a parameter that encompasses all possible quantum correlations among N two-level atoms in arbitrary symmetric pure states and define its numerical value to be the total measure of the net atom-atom correlations. We use that parameter to quantify the total quantum correlations in atomic Schrödinger cat states, which are generated by the dispersive interaction in a cavity. We study the variation of the net amount of quantum correlation as we vary the number of atoms from N=2 to N=100 and obtain some interesting results. We also study the variation of the net correlation, for fixed interaction time, as we increase the number of atoms in the excited state of the initial system, and notice some interesting features. We also observe the behaviour of the net quantum correlation as we continuously increase the interaction time, for the general state of N two-level atoms in a dispersive cavity.  相似文献

We study the dynamical evolution of quantum correlations between two central spins independently coupled to a common bath, which are represented by quantum entanglement and quantum discord. According to the results of the exact solution, we show that quantum discord is more robust and includes richer correlation than quantum entanglement due to the nonvanishing quantum correlation in the region of entanglement death, i.e., the separable states maybe contain nonclassical correlations. We discuss the effects of the intrinsic properties of the bath on quantum correlation between the two central spins in the XY and XXZ model baths. At the low temperature, the central system can keep the good quantum correlation. With the more spin number in the bath, the dynamical evolution of quantum correlation can be bounded with the small oscillation and finally approaches a stable value. In addition, we find that the interaction between the central spins and the bath in the z direction has the significant effects on quantum correlation of the central spin system.  相似文献

In this paper, a theoretical scheme for tripartite quantum controlled teleportation is presented using the entanglement property of seven-qubit cluster state. This means that Alice wants to transmit a entangled state of particle a to Bob, Charlie wants to transmit a entangled state of particle b to David and Edison wants to transmit a entangled state of particle c to Ford via the control of the supervisor. In the end, we compared the aspects of quantum resource consumption, operation complexity, classical resource consumption, quantum information bits transmitted, success probability and efficiency with other schemes.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a Hamiltonian model that includes interaction of two coupled two-level atoms with a single-mode quantized electromagnetic field in a cavity via the degenerate two-photon transition. The cavity is filled with a Kerr-like medium and is held at a temperature T. The free field Hamiltonian possesses the su(1,1) symmetry which realized by either even or odd photon-number states. The total number of excitation as a constant of motion, provides a decomposition of the Hilbert space of system into direct sums of invariant subspaces. As a results, the representation of the Hamiltonian becomes block-diagonal matrix with three blocks. After diagonalizing each block, we obtain thermal state of system in the whole Hilbert space and within its excitation subspaces. Finally, the effect of temperature, atom-atom and Kerr-type couplings on the degree of thermal entanglement between the atoms are investigated. Our results show that within the single-excitation subspace spanned with odd photon-number states, the entanglement between the atoms is thermally robust.  相似文献

First, we study several information theories based on quantum computing in a desirable noiseless situation. (1) We present quantum key distribution based on Deutsch’s algorithm using an entangled state. (2) We discuss the fact that the Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm can be used for quantum communication including an error correction. Finally, we discuss the main result. We study the Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm in a noisy environment. The original algorithm determines a noiseless function. Here we consider the case that the function has an environmental noise. We introduce a noise term into the function f(x). So we have another noisy function g(x). The relation between them is g(x) = f(x) ± O(??). Here O(??) ? 1 is the noise term. The goal is to determine the noisy function g(x) with a success probability. The algorithm overcomes classical counterpart by a factor of N in a noisy environment.  相似文献
