On the Approximation of the Derivatives of Spline Quasi-Interpolation in Cubic Spline $S_3^{1,2}(∆_{mn}^{(2)})$

In this paper, based on the basis composed of two sets of splines with distinct local supports, cubic spline quasi-interpolating operators are reviewed on nonuniform type-2 triangulation. The variation diminishing operator is defined by discrete linear functionals based on a fixed number of triangular mesh-points, which can reproduce any polynomial of nearly best degrees. And by means of the modulus of continuity, the estimation of the operator approximating a real sufficiently smooth function is reviewed as well. Moreover, the derivatives of the nearly optimal variation diminishing operator can approximate that of the real sufficiently smooth function uniformly over quasi-uniform type-2 triangulation. And then the convergence results are worked out.     

Boundaries of Holomorphic 1-Chains Within Holomorphic Line Bundles over $mathbb{CP}^{1}$

We show that boundaries of holomorphic 1-chains within holomorphic line bundles of mathbbCP¹mathbb{CP}^{1} can be characterized using a single generating function of Wermer moments. In the case of negative line bundles, a rationality condition on the generating function plus the vanishing moment condition together form an equivalent condition for bounding. We provide some examples which reveal that the vanishing moment condition is not sufficient by itself. These examples also can be used to demonstrate one point of caution about the use of birational maps in this topic.

We call a metric space X (m,n)-equidistant if, when A⊆X has exactly m points, there are exactly n points in X each of which is equidistant from (the points of) A. We prove that, for k≥2, the Euclidean space ℝ ^k contains an (m,1)-equidistant set if and only if k≥m. Although the sphere is (3,2)-equidistant, and ℝ⁴ contain no (4,2)-equidistant sets. We discuss related results about projective spaces, and state a conjecture about analogous to the Double Midset Conjecture.

Under the framework of uniformly smooth Banach spaces, Chang proved in 2006 that the sequence {xn} generated by the iteration xn＋1 =αn＋1f（xn） ＋ （1 - αn＋1）Tn＋1xn converges strongly to a common fixed point of a finite family of nonexpansive maps {Tn}, where f ： C → C is a contraction. However, in this paper, the author considers the iteration in more general case that {Tn} is an infinite family of nonexpansive maps, and proves that Chang＇s result holds still in the setting of reflexive Banach spaces with the weakly sequentially continuous duality mapping.     

Hypergeometric τ-functions of the q-Painlevé system of type $E_{8}^{(1)}$

We present the τ-functions for the hypergeometric solutions to the q-Painlevé system of type E₈⁽¹⁾E_{8}^{(1)} in a determinant formula whose entries are given by Rahman’s q-hypergeometric integrals. By using the symmetry of the q-hypergeometric integral, we can construct 56 solutions and describe the action of W(E₇⁽¹⁾)W(E_{7}^{(1)}) on the solutions.

Quadratic Hamilton–Poisson Systems on $\mathfrak{se}(1,1)^{*}_{-}$: The Inhomogeneous Case

The blow-up of smooth solution to the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes-Poisson (NSP) system on \(\mathbb{R}^{d}\) is studied in this paper. We obtain that if the initial density is compactly supported, the spherically symmetric smooth solution to the NSP system on \(\mathbb{R}^{d}\ (d\geq 2)\) blows up in finite time. In the case \(d=1\), if \(2\mu +\lambda >0\), then the NSP system only exits a zero smooth solution on ? for the compactly supported initial density.

A closed subspace $M$ of the Hardy space $H^2(\mathbb{D}^2)$ over the bidisk is called submodule if it is invariant under multiplication by coordinate functions $z$ and $w.$ Whether every finitely generated submodule is Hilbert-Schmidt is an unsolved problem. This paper proves that every finitely generated submodule $M$ containing $θ(z)−\varphi(w)$ is Hilbert-Schmidt, where $θ(z),$ $\varphi(w)$ are two finite Blaschke products.     

Equivalent moduli of continuity, Bloch’s theorem for pluriharmonic mappings in mathbb{B}{kern-8pt}mathbb{B}^{boldsymbol n}

In this paper, we first establish a Schwarz?CPick type theorem for pluriharmonic mappings and then we apply it to discuss the equivalent norms on Lipschitz-type spaces. Finally, we obtain several Landau??s and Bloch??s type theorems for pluriharmonic mappings.
