Unambiguous quantum state filtering is applied to evaluation of the decoherence sensing of entangled quantum channels consisting of N-mode entangled coherent states. It is found that quantum entanglement can enhance the performance of decoherence sensing while the increase of the mode numbers in the entangled probe field can slightly improve the sensing performance only in the weak field regime.  相似文献

In this paper, by using the parity operator as well as the nonlinear displacement-type operator, we define new operators which by the action of them on the vacuum state of the radiation field, superposition of two nonlinear coherent states and two-mode entangled nonlinear coherent states are generated. Also, we show that via the generalization of the presented method, the superposition of more than two nonlinear coherent states and n-mode entangled nonlinear coherent states can be generated.  相似文献

We compare theoretically the effects of channel decoherence on entangled coherent states (ECSs) and entangled squeezed states (ESSs) as non-orthogonal states. The comparison is achieved in the case when the interaction with the noisy environment is symmetric and when it is asymmetric. In the first case, we notice a robustness of ECSs compared with ESSs against the photons losses. This robustness increases with a good way after using a higher amplitudes. However, in the asymmetric decoherence case, the ESSs resist more the photon losses compared with the ECSs.  相似文献

Regarding the necessary and sufficient condition violating Bell-CHSH's inequality as criterion for non-locality of entangled states, we present a perturbative calculation determining non-locality of evolving entangled states. Furthermore, by means of the perturbative calculation, the non-locality and its evolution of two kinds of entangled coherent states in a thermal reservoir are discussed.  相似文献

In our previous paper, we have introduced a new kind of continuous-variable-type entangled states, called double-mode excited entangled coherent states. In this paper, we study sum squeezing properties of such excited entangled coherent states. We focus on discussing the influence of photon excitations on sum squeezing properties. It is found that the photon excitations seriously affected sqeezing properties of the excited entangled coherent states. With increasing the number of the photon excitations m, the higher-order terms move away from its initial state |ψ 0〉 and the degrees of sum squeezing are increasing. In this sense, it implies that the photon excitations excitated the sum sqeezing properties of the double-mode excited entangled coherent states.  相似文献

This scheme can be easily generalized to generate two-mode excited entangled coherent states. In this paper, we consider a special type of maximally entangled states namely by entangled SU(1,1) semi coherent states by using SU(1,1) semi coherent states(SU(1,1) Semi CS). The entanglement characteristics of these entangled states are studied by evaluating the concurrence.We investigate some of their nonclassical properties,especially probability distribution function,second-order correlation function and quadrature squeezing . Further, the quasiprobability distribution functions (Q-functions) is discussed.

In this paper, we introduce the definition of a new kind of continuous-variable-type entangled coherent states, called double-mode excited entangled coherent states through acting creation operators on the double-mode entangled coherent states. We briefly present how to produce them from the two mode ECSs through an interaction between laser and atoms. 利用线性光学元器件对光场量子态进行操纵,可以实现远程的量子纠缠调控和量子通讯.通过分析光学分束器对相干态光场的作用,发现当初始光场态是两个两部分纠缠态的直乘时,让其中的两模通过光学分束器作用后再对其进行光子计数,另外两模将会塌缩到新的纠缠态.基于这个特点,提出了一个实现部分纠缠相干态纠缠浓缩的方案.在这个方案中,两个部分纠缠相干态被用来作为量子信道,通过光学分束器作用后对光场进行光子数探测时,如果测量到光场的两模分别处于奇光子数态和零光子数态,则光场另外的两模将塌缩到最大纠缠态,从而完成纠缠浓缩的过程.计算结果表明,对于纠缠相干态,无论其初始的纠缠是多么微弱,利用这种方法总有一定的几率可以从中提纯出最大纠缠态.  相似文献

We theoretically introduce a kind of non-Gaussian entangled resources, i.e., coherent photon-added two-mode squeezed thermal states (CPA-TMSTS), by successively performing coherent photon addition operation to the two-mode squeezed thermal states. The normalization factor related to bivariate Hermite polynomials is obtained. Based upon it, the nonclassicality and decoherence process are analyzed by virtue of the Wigner function. It is shown that the coherent photon addition operation is an effective way in generating partial negative values of Wigner function, which clearly manifests the nonclassicality and non-Gaussianity of the target states. Additionally, the fidelity in teleporting coherent states using CPA-TMSTS as entangled resource is quantified both analytically and numerically. It is found that the CPA-TMSTS is an entangled resource of high-efficiency and high-fidelity in quantum teleportation.  相似文献

Present work is an attempt to compare quantum discord and quantum entanglement of quasi-Werner states formed with the four bipartite entangled coherent states (ECS) used recently for quantum teleportation of a qubit encoded in superposed coherent state. Out of these, the quasi-Werner states based on maximally ECS due to its invariant nature under local operation is independent of measurement basis and mean photon numbers, while for quasi-Werner states based on non-maximally ECS, it depends upon measurement basis as well as on mean photon number. However, for large mean photon numbers since non-maximally ECS becomes almost maximally entangled therefore dependence of quantum discord for non-maximally ECS based quasi-Werner states on the measurement basis disappears.  相似文献

The interaction of $N$ two-level atoms with both a two-mode cavity field and an external classical pumping field, and with the fields being degenerate in frequency, is studied in the regime where the atoms and fields are highly detuned. This dispersive interaction can be used to generate a large number of important entangled coherent states conditional on the initial atomic states and state-selective measurements. A dynamical relation is established between the results for the case with continuous pumping and the case without external driving where the coherent field is put in as the initial condition.  相似文献

A continuous variable quantum key distribution protocol with entanglement swapping of quasi-Bell entangled coherent states is proposed. As the preliminary step, a sender shares quasi-Bell entangled coherent states with a receiver. After their measurements to distinguish the cases of a zero response, a nonzero even-photon response and an odd-photon response, two legitimate participants fulfill the task of key distribution. The correlations resulting from entanglement swapping of quasi-Bell entangled coherent states and the order rearrangement of transmitted states provide the possibility to protect secret key distribution. In the ideal channel, the success probability increases with the amplitude of the coherent state, and approaches unity when the amplitude of the coherent state is larger than two. However, in the loss channel, the decoherence will introduce error in the generated key, and the error rate increases with the amplitude of the coherent state. When the amplitude of the coherent state is smaller than 0.2 (or so), the error rate approaches zero, although the success probability is less than 0.5 in this case.  相似文献
