Four new platinum(II) complexes (14) with N-benzoyl-L-amino acid and bipy were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV, 1H NMR, and mass spectra. The crystal structure of 1 was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. Cytotoxicities were measured by MTT and SRB assays. Complexes 14 exert cytotoxicity with selectivity against HL-60, Bel-7402, BGC-823, and KB cell lines. This suggests that amino acids and acylated groups have important effects on cytotoxicity; the cytotoxicity is also related to the species of tumor cells, but the IC50 values do not show definite correlation with the variation of amino acids and acylated groups.  相似文献

Eight pairs of cis–trans isomeric homoleptic platinum(II) complexes based on N-alkyl- or aryl-substituted 2,2′-biimidazole ligands were synthesized, and their photophysical properties were investigated. The cis and trans isomers readily interconvert at slightly elevated temperature, implying that the activation barrier for this process is low. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the complexes have an ideal square-planar geometry. Their UV–Vis spectra showed lower energy absorption bands in the range of 345–378 nm, which are assigned to the typical MLCT mixed with LC transitions. In frozen glass solution at 77 K and also in the powder state, these complexes exhibit green emission ranging from 440 to 540 nm with photoluminescence quantum yields of 3.3–24.4%. The emitting excited state is dominated by 3ππ* character with some contributions from 3MLCT according to the excitation spectra.  相似文献

Two transition metal complexes, [Cu2(bpdc)2H2O]·2H2O (1) and Zn(bpdc)(H2O)2 (2) (H2bpdc?=?2,2′-bipyridine-6,6′-dicarboxylic acid), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is dinuclear with two five-coordinate cupric ions and 2 is mononuclear with one six-coordinate zinc. Interactions of 1 and 2 with DNA have been investigated using UV–Vis absorption spectra. The cleavage reaction on DNA has been monitored by agarose gel electrophoresis.  相似文献

Four platinum(IV) complexes containing intercalating ligands [1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy)] and ancillary ligands [(1S,2S)-diaminocyclohexane (SS-DACH) and (1R,2R)-diaminocyclohexane (RR-DACH)] were synthesized and characterized by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, X-ray crystal structure analysis, elemental analysis, ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy, circular dichroism spectroscopy, and electrochemical analysis. The reactions between [Pt(phen)(SS-DACH)Cl2]2+ and glutathione and Ac-CPFC-NH2 were investigated by high-performance liquid chromatography. [Pt(phen)(SS-DACH)Cl2]2+ was reduced to its corresponding Pt(II) complex [Pt(phen)(SS-DACH)]2+, while glutathione and Ac-CPFC-NH2 were oxidized to glutathione-disulfide and a peptide containing an intramolecular disulfide bond, respectively. The cytotoxicities of the Pt(IV) complexes against a human non-small cell lung cancer cell line (A549) and the corresponding cisplatin-resistant cell line (A549cisR) were evaluated. These Pt(IV) complexes showed a higher activity toward A549 and A549cisR than did cisplatin. Also, the cytotoxicities of the Pt(IV) complexes were higher for A549cisR than for A549 cells. Moreover, the cytotoxicities of the (SS-DACH)-liganded platinum complexes were higher than those of the (RR-DACH)-liganded platinum complexes in either A549 or A549cisR cells. Phen-liganded platinum complexes were more cytotoxic than the bpy-liganded platinum complexes. The cytotoxicities of these Pt(IV) complexes had no correlation with reduction potentials.  相似文献

Two substituted 2,2′-bipyridine lead(II) complexes, [Pb(5,5′-dm-2,2′-bpy)(tfac)2] n (1) (5,5′-dm-2,2′-bpy?=?5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine and tfac?=?trifluoroacetate) and [Pb2(4,4′-dmo-2,2′-bpy)2(ftfa)4] (2) (4,4′-dmo-2,2′-bpy?=?4,4′-dimethoxy-2,2′-bipyridine and ftfa?=?furoyltrifluoroacetonate), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopies, thermal behavior, and X-ray crystallography. Complexes 1 and 2 are 1D coordination polymer and dinuclear complex, respectively. The supramolecular features in these complexes are guided by weak directional intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

A new zinc(II) coordination polymer, {[Zn(HCAM)(4,4′-Bipy)0.5] · H2O} n (I) (H3CAM = 4-hydroxypyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid; 4,4′-Bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine), has been synthesized by hydrothermal reaction of Zn(OAc)2, H3CAM and 4,4′-Bipy. It has been structurally characterized by element analysis, IR-spectra. X-ray single-crystal analysis was carried out for I (CIF file CCDC no. 974199), which crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pbca. The single X-ray diffraction studies reveal that I shows a new 2D wave-like plane with 3-connected net. Furthermore, the thermal stability of compound I was studied.  相似文献

Two new complexes {[Tb(2-IBA)3 · 2,2′-bipy]2 · C2H5OH} (1) and [Tb(2-ClBA)3 · 2,2′-bipy]2 (2) (2-IBA = 2-iodobenzoate; 2-ClBA = 2-chlorobenzoate; 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine) were prepared and their crystal structures determined by X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is composed of two types of binuclear molecules, [Tb(2-IBA)3 · 2,2′-bipy]2 (a) and [Tb(2-IBA)3 · 2,2′-bipy]2 (b), and an uncoordinated ethanol molecule. In molecule (a), two Tb3+ ions are linked by four 2-IBA groups, all bidentate-bridging. In molecule (b), two Tb3+ ions are held together by four 2-IBA groups in two coordination modes, bidentate-bridging and chelating-bridging. In the two molecules, each Tb3+ ion is further bonded to one chelating 2-IBA group and one chelating 2,2′-bipy molecule, resulting in coordination numbers of eight for (a) and nine for (b). The structural characteristics of 2 are similar to that of molecule (b) in 1. The two complexes, 1 and 2, both emit strong green fluorescence under ultraviolet light with the 5D47F j (j = 6–3) emission of Tb3+ ion observed.  相似文献

This paper presents synthesis, structural characterization and spintronic applications of copper (II) tetradecanoate derived magnetic complexes. The complexes were prepared by a chemical reaction between [Cu2(CH3(CH2)12COO)4](EtOH)2 and 2,2′-bipyridine-4,4′-bipyridine ligands respectively. The complexes were further reacted between the product of the first reaction and 4,4′-bipyridine-2,2′-bipyridine respectively. The structural characterization techniques included elemental analysis, Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Ultra-violet–Visible (UV–Vis) spectroscopy, polarized optical microscopy, magnetic moment and thermogravimetric analysis. The structural and characterization results suggested that the synthesized complexes were binuclear and mononuclear covalent complexes of copper(II) with structural formulas [Cu22-(OOCR)4](4,4′-bpy)2H2O] and [Cu(η1-(OOCR)2(2,2′-bpy) (4,4′-bpy)] respectively.  相似文献

Reaction of [Pt(bipy)Cl2] (bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine) with an excess of silver triflate in refluxing acetonitrile readily affords [Pt(bipy)(MeCN)2](CF3SO3)2 as a yellow, crystalline solid. A single crystal X-ray diffraction study shows that the cations are arranged in a zig-zag manner in rows parallel to the b axis of the monoclinic unit cell. Consideration of the crystal structures of related bipyridyl ligand complexes of platinum(II), leads to the conclusion that a stacked structure with intermolecular Pt…Pt interactions for the title compound is prevented by the electrostatic repulsion between adjacent cations that are doubly charged.  相似文献

Mercury(II) complexes, {[Hg(Ph2phen)(μ-Br)]2Br2} · CH3CN (1) and {[Hg(dmbpy)(µ-Br)]2Br2}(2) (where Ph2phen is 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline and dmbpy is 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine), were synthesized from reaction of HgBr2 with Ph2phen and dmbpy in CH3CN and CH3OH. Both complexes were thoroughly characterized by elemental analysis, infrared, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes 1 and 2 crystallize in the space group P21/n of the monoclinic and P 1 of the triclinic systems and contain four and one molecules per unit cell, respectively. The unit cell dimensions for 1 are: a = 20.422(4) Å, b = 11.384(2) Å, c = 20.665(4) Å, and β = 109.94(3)° and for 2 are: a = 8.7470(17) Å, b = 8.8328(18) Å, c = 9.4950(19) Å and α = 75.47(3)°, β = 82.21(3)°, γ = 85.56(3)°. According to X-ray structure determination both complexes are five coordinate with three bromides and one bidentate ligand; one bromide is set at a semi-bridging position.  相似文献

Two new μ-oxalato binuclear copper(II) complexes, [{Cu(NO3)(H2O)(bipy)}2(ox)] (1) and [{Cu(dien)}2(ox)](NO3)2 (2), with ox=oxalate, dien=diethylenetriamine and bipy=2,2′-bipyridine, have been synthesized and their crystal and molecular structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The crystal structure of 1 consists of centrosymmetric neutral dimers where the copper atoms lie in a strongly elongated octahedral environment, surrounded by two nitrogen atoms of a bipy molecule and two oxygen atoms of the bridging oxalato group in the equatorial plane and oxygen atoms of water molecules and nitrate ions in the axial positions. Crystal structure of 2 is made up of non-coordinated nitrate anions and asymmetric binuclear cations in which copper atoms are in a distorted square–pyramidal coordination with three atoms of a diethylenetriamine ligand and an oxygen atom of the asymmetrically coordinated oxalato bridge building the basal plane and the other oxygen atom of the oxalato ligand filling the apical position. Both compounds have been also characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopies, thermal analysis and variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. The two compounds exhibit antiferromagnetic exchange with a singlet–triplet separation of −382 and −6.5 cm−1 for 1 and 2, respectively. Magnetic and ESR results are discussed with respect to the crystal structure of the compounds.  相似文献

Complex formation equilibria involving [Pd(bpy)(H2O)2]2+ (bpy = 2,2-bipyridine) and the cyclobutanedicarboxylate ligand (cbdca), ethylenediamine and DNA have been investigated. Mixed ligand complexes of [Pd(bpy)(cbdca)] with inosine, inosine-5-monophosphate (5-IMP), uracil, uridine and adenine have been studied. The results show ring opening of the cbdca and monodentate chelation of the DNA components. Stoichiometries and stability constants for the complexes were determined at 25 °C and at constant 0.1 M ionic strength (adjusted using NaNO3). The coordination sites were found to be pH-dependent. The [Pd(bpy)Cl2], [Pd(bpy)(cbdca)] and [Pd(bpy)(inosine)](NO3) complexes were isolated.  相似文献

Both bis- and tetrakis-substituted 2,2′-bipyridine complexes of lead(II), [Pb(bpy)2](PF6)2 and [Pb(bpy)4](PF6)2 · bpy, respectively, have been characterized by X-ray crystallography as hexafluorophosphate salts when three equivalents of bipyridine is combined with Pb(NO3)2 in aqueous solution prior to metathesis. The tetrakis-substituted product, [Pb(bpy)4](PF6)2 · bpy, shows an unusual combination of intramolecular and intermolecular π-stacking of two of the bipyridine ligands throughout the crystal. Incomplete metathesis also produces a catenated, mixed-anion complex, [Pb(bpy)2(µ-NO3)](PF6), where the nitrate bridges lead(II) metal centers to form a 1-D coordination polymer. If metathesis is carried out using perchlorate, a known [Pb(bpy)2](ClO4)2 analog is produced along with [bpyH](ClO4), which has not been previously characterized by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The two water-soluble designed palladium(II) complexes, [Pd(bpy)(pip-Ac)]NO3 and [Pd(bpy)(mor-Ac)]NO3, (where bpy is 2,2′-bipyridine, pip-Ac is 1-piperidineacetato and mor-Ac is 4-morpholineacetato) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductivity measurements and spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, 1H NMR, UV–Vis). The complexes have been tested for in vitro cytotoxic activity against human breast cancer cell line, T47D. The binding of these complexes with DNA has been investigated by absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence titration spectra, EB displacement and gel chromatography. The results suggest that the complexes can bind to DNA cooperatively through a static mechanism at low concentrations (~0.57 μM). The thermodynamic parameters indicated that the van der Waals and hydrogen binding might play a major role in the interaction of these complexes with DNA.  相似文献

Mononuclear [M(hfacac)2(H2biim)] complexes, where M = MnII, FeII, CoII, NiII, CuII or ZnII, hfacac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate, H2biim = 2,2-biimidazole; dinuclear K2[M2(acac)4(-biim)] (M = CuII or ZnII) and tetranuclear K2[M4(acac)8( 4-biim)] (M = CoII or NiII) complexes have been prepared and characterized by chemical analysis, conductance measurements, i.r., electronic and e.p.r. spectroscopies and by magnetic susceptibility measurements (in the 2–300 K range). MnII, FeII and CoII are in a high spin state. The e.p.r. spectra of CuII and MnII compounds have been recorded.  相似文献

It is shown that photolysis of [PtMe4(bipy)] using incident radiation with λ 436 or 473 nm occurs with high quantum efficiency of 0.8–1.0 to give homolysis of a methylplatinum bond; this has allowed a study of the chemical reactions of the [PtMe3(bipy)] radical.  相似文献
