Reaction of organotin(IV) chloride(s) with 2-benzoylpyridine-N(4)-cyclohexylthiosemicarbazone, [HL] (1) yielded [MeSnCl2(L)] (2), [BuSnCl2(L)] (3), [Me2SnCl(L)] (4), and [Ph2SnCl(L)] (5). The ligand (1) and its organotin(IV) complexes have been characterized by CHN analyses, molar conductivity, UV-Vis, FT-IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectral studies. The molecular structure of 5 was also determined by X-ray diffraction. There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit and the central tin(IV) atom is six-coordinate in distorted octahedral geometry. The ligand (1) and complexes were screened for their in vitro antibacterial activities. The cytotoxic activities of 15 were tested against A2780 and A2780/Cp8 cancer cell lines. The compounds have better antibacterial activities than the free ligand; 25 are more potent cytotoxic agents than 1, while the diphenyltin(IV) 5 is more active with IC50 values of 0.05 and 0.54?µmol?L?1 against A2780 and A2780/Cp8 cell lines, respectively.  相似文献

Six new organotin(IV) complexes were synthesized by direct reaction of RSnCl3 (R?=?Me, Bu and Ph) or R2SnCl2 (R?=?Me, Bu and Ph) and 2-hydroxyacetophenone thiocarbohydrazone [H2APTC] under purified nitrogen in the presence of base in 1?:?2?:?1 molar ratio (metal: base: ligand). Complexes 2–7 have been characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductivity, UV-Visible, IR and 1H NMR spectral studies. Complexes 27 are non-electrolytes. The molecular structure of [Me2Sn(APTC)]?·?(C2H5OH) (5) has been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The thiocarbohydrazone ligand (1) and 27 have been tested for antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi and Enterococci aeruginosa.  相似文献

Three new diorganotin(IV) complexes, [Me2Sn(BDET] (2), [Bu2Sn(BDET)] (3), and [Ph2Sn(BDET)] (4), were synthesized by reacting R2SnCl2 (R = Me, Bu, and Ph) with 5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde-N(4)-ethylthiosemicarbazone [H2BDET, (1)] in the presence of KOH in absolute methanol. The newly synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV–vis, FT-IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopies. The molecular structure of 4 was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. X-ray crystallography revealed that the doubly deprotonated O,N,S-tridentate thiosemicarbazone coordinates to tin(IV), resulting in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Their 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectra support a five-coordinate tin(IV) in solution for all complexes, in accord with the solid-state X-ray structure determined for 4. Compounds 14 were evaluated for their antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella typhi. The results exhibited that 24 were active with comparable potency compared to the standard drug. Antibacterial studies also indicated that the complexes have potential for biological evaluation.  相似文献

Four new organotin(IV) complexes with 2-hydroxynaphthaldehyde-N(4)-ethylthiosemicarbazone [(H2DNET), (1)] of the type [MeSnCl(DNET] (2), [BuSnCl(DNET)] (3), [PhSnCl(DNET)] (4), and [Ph2Sn(DNET] (5) have been synthesized by the direct reaction of H2DNET (1) with organotin(IV) chloride(s) in the presence of potassium hydroxide in absolute methanol. All the compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductivity, UV-Vis, IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectral studies. The molecular structure of ligand (1) has been confirmed by X-ray single crystal diffraction. Spectroscopic data clearly suggested that Sn(IV) center is coordinated with the ONS tridentate ligand (H2DNET) and exhibits a five-coordinate geometry in solution. Antibacterial studies were carried out in vitro against four bacterial strains. All organotin(IV) compounds (2–5) showed good activity against various bacteria but lower activity than the reference drug (Ciprofloxacin). The results demonstrate that organic groups attached to tin(IV) moiety have significant effect on their biological activities. Among them, diphenyltin(IV) derivative 5 exhibits significantly good activity than the other organotin(IV) derivatives (2–4).  相似文献

Diorganotin(IV) and diorganosilicon(IV) derivatives of the types R2MCl(TSCZ) and R2M(TSCZ)2 (where TSCZ is the anion of a thiosemicarbazone ligand, R=Ph or Me and M=Sn or Si) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations and conductivity measurements. The mode of bonding has been established on the basis of IR and 1H, 13C 29Si and 119Sn NMR spectroscopic studies. Some of the representative complexes have also been evaluated for their antimicrobial effects on different species of pathogenic fungi and bacteria in vivoas well as in vitro. The results of these investigations are reported. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

New organotin(IV) complexes with empirical formula Sn(SNNNS)R2, where SNNNS is the dianionic form of 2,6-diacetylpyridine Schiff bases of S-methyldithiocarbazate (H2dapsme) or S-benzyldithiocarbazate (H2dapsbz) and R = Ph or Me, have been prepared and characterized by IR, UV-Vis, NMR and Mössbauer spectroscopic techniques and conductance measurements. The molecular structures of the Sn(dapsme)R2 (R = Ph and Me) have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. Both complexes have a distorted pentagonal-bipyramidal geometry in which the tin is coordinated by a dinegatively charged pentadentate chelating agent via pyridine nitrogen, two azomethine nitrogens, and two thiolate sulfurs. The five donors (N3S2) provided by the Schiff base occupy the equatorial plane close to a pentagonal planar array while the carbanion ligands occupy axial sites.  相似文献

Four diorganotin(IV) complexes [(Me)2Sn(L1)(CH3COO)]·CH3CH2OH (1), [(Ph)2Sn(L1)(CH3COO)]·CH3CH2OH (2), [(Me)2Sn(L2)Cl] (3) and [(Ph)2Sn(L2)(CH3COO)] (4) where HL1 = 2-benzoylpyridine N(4)-phenylthiosemicarbazone and HL2 = 2-acetylpyrazine N(4)-phenylthiosemicarbazone have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR MS, 1H NMR and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Schiff bases in their deprotonated forms coordinate to tin(IV) via pyridine/pyrazine nitrogen atom and the nitrogen atom and sulfur atoms of the thiosemicarbazone moiety. The tin atom is seven-coordinated in 1, 2 and 4 containing one acetato group, respectively, and six-coordinated in 3 containing one chloride ion. Biological studies, carried out in vitro against selected bacteria and K562 leukaemia cells, respectively, have shown that different substituted groups attached at the thiosemicarbazone moieties and different diorganotin(IV) groups showed distinctive differences in the biological property.  相似文献

The diorganotin(IV) complexes, [R2Sn(Rd)(μ-OH)]2 (R?=?Me (1), PhCH2 (2), n-Bu (3), Ph (4); HRd?=?rhodanine), have been synthesized and characterized by IR and multinuclear (1H, 13C, 119Sn) NMR spectroscopy. The structures of complexes 2 and 3 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Both crystal structures of 2 and 3 show the presence of asymmetrically bridging hydroxy groups leading to an Sn2O2 unit. Each atom in complex 1 is also coordinated by an N atom of ligand and two C atoms of the alkyl groups, so the Sn environment is based on a trigonal bipyramid. While in complex 2, a weak intermolecular Sn–O interaction has also been found between the two adjacent molecules, so the geometry of the Sn atom can be best described as six-coordinate octahedral. The salient feature of the supramolecular structure of complex 3 is that of a 1D polymer, in which the discrete molecules are connected through weak intermolecular Sn?···?O interactions.  相似文献

The reaction of dimethyl-, diethyl- and dibutyltin(IV) oxide with 2,6-lutidine-α2,3-diol (Lu) [2-(hydroxymethyl)-3-hydroxy-6-methylpyridine] in toluene/ethanol has been investigated. The compounds were isolated and characterized by IR, Raman and Mössbauer spectroscopy, EI and FAB mass spectrometry and 1H and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy. The structures of Lu and [SnMe2(H2O)(Lu-2H)] were determined by X-ray diffraction. The crystal of [SnMe2(H2O)(Lu-2H)] contains dimeric [SnMe2(H2O)(Lu-2H)]2 units, in which the tin atom is coordinated to the O atoms of the two deprotonated hydroxymethyl groups and one deprotonated phenolic hydroxyl group. The distorted octahedral coordination polyhedron of each tin atom is completed by a water molecule and two methyl C atoms. The butyl derivative exhibited significant in vitro antitumor activity against the human carcinoma cell lines HeLa-229, A2780 and A2780cis, although minor than that of the pyridoxine derivative prepared previously.  相似文献

A series of new five-coordinated ionic organotin(IV) complexes with general formula [Q][Me2Sn(μ2-SCH2COO)Cl](Q = diethylammonium, triethylammonium, di-i-propylammonium, tripropylammonium, tri-n-butylammonium, pyrimidium, 3-picolinium, methylphenylammonium, dimethylphenylammonium) were synthesized by the reaction of mercaptoacetic acid with dimethyltin dichloride in the presence of an organic base. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopies. The crystal structure of [(n-Pr)3NH][Me2Sn(μ2-SCH2COO)Cl] was determined by X-ray crystallography. The structure consists of an anion part, and a tri-n-propylammonium cation part as a counterion. The tin atom has a distorted cis-tbp geometry with two carbon and one sulfur atoms occupying the equatorial positions and the O atom and Cl atom occupying the axial positions. The organotin anion and its counterion are connected through a hydrogen bond between the N atom in the ammonium and the O atom of the carbonyl group with a N-O length of 2.766 Å.  相似文献

The ligand, N,N′-bis-(4-methoxy-benzylidene)-ethane-1,2-diamine (mb2en), and its corresponding copper(I) complexes, [Cu(mb2en)2]ClO4 (1), and [Cu(mb2en)(PPh3)2]BPh4 (2), have been synthesized and characterized by CHN analyses, 1H and 13C-NMR, IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopies. The crystal and molecular structure of [Cu(mb2en)2]ClO4 (1), were determined by X-ray crystallography from a single-crystal. The coordination polyhedron about copper(I) is best described as a distorted tetrahedron. Quasi-irreversible redox behavior was observed for 1 and 2 (E 1/2?=?0.55 and 0.95?V, respectively).  相似文献

Some five-coordinated dimethyltin(IV) complexes of the type Me2SnL (where L is the anion of a bifunctional tridentate Schiff base) were synthesized. These Schiff bases are N-(3-hydroxypyridine-2-yl)-3-methoxysalicylideneimine, HOC6H3OCH3CH=NC5H3NOH (1), N-(3-hydroxypyridine-2-yl)-3-ethoxysalicylideneimine, HOC6H3OC2H5CH=NC5H3NOH (2), N-(3-hydroxypyridine-2-yl)-5-chlorosalicylideneimine, HOC6H3ClCH=NC5H3NOH (3), and N-(3-hydroxypyridine-2-yl)-3-methoxy-5-bromosalicylideneimine, HOC6H2OCH3BrCH=NC5H3NOH (4). Dimethyltin(IV) complex of 3 (3a) was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction method and a coordination geometry that is nearly halfway between trigonal–bipyramidal and square pyramidal arrangement was found. Dimethyltin complexes of (1), (2), and (4) were also prepared and characterized by the comparison of their elemental analysis and 1H-NMR-, IR-, UV- and mass spectral data with those of (3a). For example, in the 1H-NMR spectra, the 2J(119Sn-1H) in the Sn-CH3 moiety have values between 80 Hz and 90 Hz, typical of five-coordinated tin species. By using these values in Lockart’s Equations, H3C–Sn–CH3 angles in the complexes were estimated to lie between 130° and 145°. X-ray diffraction value for 3a, confirms this estimate within 3.4% relative deviation (129.7° exp. Vs. 134.9° estimate).  相似文献

Two novel dinuclear organotin(IV) complexes [n-Bu2Sn(imda)(H2O)]2·Bipy (1) and [n-Bu2Sn(imda)(H2O)]2·Phen (2) [H2imda = iminodiacetic acid, Bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine and Phen = 1,10-phenanthroline] were synthesised and characterized employing IR, 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR, and 119Sn Mössbauer spectroscopic and elemental analyses. Single crystal X-ray crystallography of 1 has confirmed that it is a binuclear Sn(IV) species formed via carboxylate bridges where each metal adopted a seven coordinate distorted pentagonal bipyramidal geometry. The iminodiacetate dianion (imda2−) acts as a potential tridentate [N,O,O] carboxylate bridging ligand. The packing revealed that the additional α-diimine (Bipy or Phen) does not coordinate to metal ion. However, its presence in the crystal lattice as spacer helps for the formation of a supramolecular framework by bringing the two binuclear species close enough through extensive H-bonding. The in vitro cytotoxicity of compounds 1 and 2 indicate better results than cisplatin against three tumor cell lines investigated.  相似文献

Abstract

We report the synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of the first organotin(IV) complexes with cyclic seven-membered dithiocarbamate ligands: the azepane-1-carbodithioate and the homopiperazine-1,4-bis-carbodithioate with two different organotin entities, di-n-butyltin and tri-cyclohexyltin: [(C4H9)2Sn{S2CN(CH2)6}2] (3), [(C6H11)3Sn{S2CN(CH2)6}] (4), and [(C6H11)3Sn}2 (μ-S2CN(C5H10)NCS2)] (5). Compounds (3–5) are air-stable both in solid-state and in solution, and were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, FAB+–MS, and multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, and 119Sn) spectroscopy. Their molecular structures were unambiguously established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The geometrical arrangement around the tin atom can be described as distorted octahedral for (3) and distorted trigonal bipyramid for (4) and (5). The coordination mode for both ligands is considered as asymmetric bidentate, as happens in other organotin(IV) dithiocarbamates. Furthermore, (4) and (5) do not exhibit intermolecular secondary interactions, while (3) presents intermolecular interactions between the tin and a sulfur atom with the reciprocally neighboring molecule, giving rise to a zig-zag polymeric structure.  相似文献

Triorganotin(IV) complexes of the 7-amino-2-(methylthio)[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-6-carboxylic acid (HL), Me3SnL(H2O), (1), [n-Bu3SnL]2(H2O), (2), Ph3SnL(MeOH), (3), were synthesized by reacting the amino acid with organotin(IV) hydroxides or oxides in refluxing methanol. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR, IR, Raman and 119Sn Mössbauer spectroscopic techniques. Single crystal X-ray diffraction data were obtained for compounds (2) and (3). Ph3SnL(MeOH) presents a trigonal bipyramidal structure with the organic groups on the equatorial plane and the axial positions occupied by a ligand molecule, coordinated to tin through the carboxylate, and a solvent molecule, MeOH. A similar structure is proposed for Me3SnL(H2O) on the basis of analytical and spectroscopic data. The tributyltin(IV) derivative, [n-Bu3SnL]2(H2O), is characterized by two different tin sites with similar tbp geometry featured by butyl groups on the equatorial plane. Sn(1) and Sn(2) atoms are axially bridged by a ligand molecule binding through the N(4) and the carboxylate group; the two coordination spheres are saturated by another ligand molecule, binding the metal through the carboxylate group, and a water molecule, respectively. Antimicrobial tests on compounds 1 and 2 showed in vitro activity against Gram-positive bacteria.  相似文献

trans-Bis(ferrocenecarboxylato)(5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrinato)tin(IV) complex Sn(TPP)(FcCOO)2 has been synthesized and fully characterized. The X-ray structural analysis of Sn(TPP)(FcCOO)2 reveals that the tin(IV) center is octahedrally coordinated by the porphyrin occupying the square base and axial coordination of two ferrocenecarboxylato ligands in an anti orientation with respect to each other. The Fe(II) center of the ferrocenecarboxylato ligand lies 5.7 Å from the tin(IV) center of the porphyrin ring. The cyclic voltammogram of Sn(TPP)(FcCOO)2 exhibits three distinctive redox couples consisting of one oxidative wave and two reductive waves due to the ferrocenecarboxylato ligands and the porphyrin ring, respectively.  相似文献

The structure, spectroscopic, and electrochemical properties of [Co{(Me-sal)2dien}(N3)] and [Co{(Me-sal)2dpt}(N3)], where (Me-sal)2dien = 2,2′-[1,1′-(3-azapentane-1,5-diyldinitrilo)diethylidyne] diphenolate and (Me-sal)2dpt = 2,2′-[1,1′-(4-azapentane-1,7-diyldinitrilo)diethylidyne] diphenolate, have been investigated. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV–Vis, and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of these complexes have been determined by X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1, with a = 7.8443(4) Å, b = 11.0660(5) Å, c = 11.6216(6) Å, α = 73.360(1)°, β = 76.965(1)°, γ = 84.436(1)° and Z = 2. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n, with a = 12.1985(13) Å, b = 10.9332(12) Å, c = 15.2808(16) Å, β = 76.965(1)° and Z = 4. The coordination geometry around cobalt(III) in both complexes is a distorted octahedron. The electrochemical reduction of these complexes at a glassy carbon electrode in acetonitrile indicates that the first reduction corresponding to CoIII–CoII is electrochemically irreversible, accompanied by dissociation of the axial Co–N(N3) bond. The second reduction step of Co(II/I) leads to decomposition of the complex. These observations are rationalized based on the structure-function relations.  相似文献

New platinum complexes have been synthesized by the reaction of Na2PtCl4 with 2-acetylpyridine-4-cyclohexyl-thiosemicarbazone, HAc4CyclHexyl (1). The new complexes [Pt(Ac4CyclHexyl)Cl] (2) and [Pt(Ac4CyclHexyl)2] (3) have been characterized by elemental analyses and spectroscopic studies. The crystal structure of the complex [Pt(Ac4CyclHexyl)Cl] · DMF has been solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The anion of Ac4CyclHexyl coordinates in a planar conformation to the central platinum(II) through the pyridyl N, azomethine N and thiolato S atoms. The crystal packing is determined by double intermolecular hydrogen interactions, π–π, Pt–C and Pt–π contacts. The cytotoxic activities of 13 have been evaluated for antiproliferative activity in vitro against the cells of three human cancer cell lines: MCF-7 (human breast cancer cell line), T24 (bladder cancer cell line), A-549 (non-small cell lung carcinoma) and a mouse L-929 (a fibroblast-like cell line cloned from strain L). The compounds 13 display IC50 values in a μM range better than that of the antitumor drug cisplatin and are considered as agents with potential antitumor activity candidates for further stages of screening in vitro and/or in vivo.  相似文献

Abstract

The N(4)-methylthiosemicarbazone derivatives H2DDMT (1) and H2DMMT (2) have been prepared from the reaction of 4-methylthiosemicarbazide with 2,3-dihydroxybenzaldehyde and 2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzaldehyde, respectively. Six new organotin(IV) complexes, [MeSnCl(DDMT)] (3), [BuSnCl(DDMT)] (4), [PhSnCl(DDMT)] (5), [MeSnCl(DMMT)] (6), [BuSnCl(DMMT)] (7), and [PhSnCl(DMMT)] (8) have been synthesized by direct reaction of corresponding organotin(IV) chloride(s) with these ligands. The ligands and their compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV–Vis, FT-IR, and NMR (1H, 13C, and 119Sn) spectroscopy. The molecular structures of 1 and 2 were determined by X-ray crystallography. Spectroscopic data suggested that the ligands were coordinated to tin(IV) as dinegative tridentate via phenoxide-O, azomethine-N, and thiolate-S atoms. The crystal structures revealed that the ligands exist in thione form in the solid state. In vitro cytotoxicity assays were carried out for all the compounds against MCF-7 cancer cell line. The results have shown that different organotin(IV) groups showed characteristic differences in their biological activity.  相似文献
