Crown Thioether Complexes of Lead (II), Zinc(II), and Cadmium (II). Crystal Structures of [PbL2(ClO4)2] and [ZnL2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN (L = 1,4,7 - Trithiacyclononane) The reaction of 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane (L) with the perchlorate salts of lead(II) and zinc(II) in CH3CN (2:1) affords colorless crystals of [PbL2(ClO4)2] and [ZnL2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN, respectively, The crystal structures have been determined. The PbII centre is coordinated to six sulfur atoms (the average distance Pb? S is 3.076 Å) and two oxygen atoms, one of each ClO4? anion (monodentate ClO4?). A distorted square antiprismatic polyhedron is thus generated. In [ZnL2](ClO4)2 · CH3CN the zinc(II) centre is octahedrally surrounded by six sulphur atoms (average distance Zn? S = 2.494 Å); the ClO4? anions are not coordinated. For[CdL2](ClO4)2 · H2O an analogous structure is proposed.  相似文献

A copper complex [Cu(IDB)Cl] · 0.5[CuCl4]?·?H2O (1) (IDB?=?di(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)imine) was synthesized and its structure was determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. In this complex, the central copper(II) ion is four-coordinate, IDB serves as a neutral tridentate chelating ligand for the tetragonal copper ion. The cyclic voltammogram of complex 1 in CH3CN gave two reversible redox waves (E 1/2,1?=??0.14?V and E 1/2,2?=?0.08?V versus SCE) which correspond to the Cu(II,?II)/Cu(I,?II) and Cu(II,?II)/Cu(II,?I) redox processes, respectively.  相似文献

The structures of [Cu (S2CN (CH2)4)2] (1) and [Zn2(S2CN‐(CH2)4)4] (2) have been determined by X‐ray crystallography analysis. They are all isomorphous and triclinic, space group of P1?, with Z = 1. The lattice parameters of compound 1 is: a = 0.63483(2) nm, b = 0.74972(3) nm, c=0.78390(1) mn, α = 75.912(2)°, β = 78.634(2)° and γ = 86.845(2)°; compound 2: a = 0.78707(6) nm, b=0.79823(6) nm, c = 1.23246(9) nm, α = 74.813(2)°, β = 73.048(2)° and γ = 88.036(2)°. The copper atom is located on a crystallographic inversion center and zinc atom lies across centers of symmetry. The Cu(II) ion has a square‐planar geometry while Zn(II) has a distorted tetrahedral geometry. The thermal gravity (TG) data indicate that no structural transitions in the two compounds were abserved and the decomposition products can adsorb gas. Also they all have a high thermal stability.  相似文献

Iron(III) and cobalt(III) complexes of types [Fe(LEt)2]ClO4·3/2C6H6 (1) and [Co(LEt)2]ClO4·2CH2Cl2 (2) with a new pyrimidine-derived thiosemicarbazone ligand, 2-S-methyl-6-methyl-4-formylpyrimidine-N(4)-ethylt-hiosemicarbazone (HLEt), having N, N, S donor centers have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structural study shows distorted octahedral geometry for both 1 and 2 with MN4S2 chromophores. The space group of 1 is C2/c (monoclinic) and that of 2 is P212121 (orthorhombic). The electrochemical electron transfer study in MeCN solutions shows a one-electron reductive response presumably due to a metal(III)–metal(II) couple.  相似文献

A dimeric dichloro-bridged copper(II) complex [Cu2(pdon)2Cl4] · 2DMF (1) and two mononuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu(pdon)(DMSO)Cl2] · DMSO · H2O (2) and [Cu(pdon)3] · (ClO4)2 · 2.25CH3CN · 6H2O (3) (pdon = 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione) have been synthesized and characterized. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility studies indicate the existence of weak anti-ferromagnetic coupling in the binuclear complex. The interaction of these complexes with CT-DNA (calf thymus DNA) has been studied using absorption and emission spectral methods. The apparent binding constants (K app) for 1, 2 and 3 are 5.20 × 105, 2.68 × 105 and 7.05 × 105 M?1, respectively, showing moderate intercalative binding modes. All of these complexes cleave plasmid DNA to nicked DNA in a sequential manner as the concentration or reaction time is increased. The cleavage mechanism between the complex and plasmid DNA is likely to involve singlet oxygen 1O2 and ?OH as reactive oxygen species.  相似文献

Two pyrazole-based polydentate ligands, 1,3-bis(5-methyl-3-phenylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hmppzpo) and 1,3-bis(5-methyl-3-p-isopropylphenylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hmcpzpo), have been synthesized. A third ligand, 1,3-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)-propan-2-ol (Hdmpzpo), has been synthetically modified. Seven new M(II) coordination compounds of general formula M2L2X2 (M?=?Zn, Ni; X?=?NO3 or ClO4; L?=?dmpzpo, mppzpo or mcpzpo) or MLX (M?=?Pd; L?=?dmpzpo; X?=?Cl) were synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis and FT-IR analysis. The crystal structures of [Zn2(μ-dmpzpo-O,N,N′)2(NO3)2]?·?2H2O (1?·?2H2O), [Ni2(μ-dmpzpo-O,N,N′)2(CH3CN)2](ClO4)2 (2) and Pd(μ-dmpzpo-N,N′)Cl2 (4) were determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The crystal structures show that complexes 1?·?2H2O and 2 are center-symmetric dinuclear compounds, with two metal ions bridged by two alkoxo groups and each metal ion with a distorted square-pyramidal environment. The palladium complex, 4, displayed square-planar coordination geometry around the Pd(II) ion with trans arrangement.  相似文献

This paper reports the synthesis, crystal structure and properties of two new mononuclear nickel(II) complexes, [NiL(phen)][ClO4]2(1) and [NiL(bpy)][ClO4]2(2), where L is bis(benzimidazol-2-ylmetheyl)(2-hydroxyethyl)amine and phen and bpy are 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,2'-bipyridine, respectively. The crystal structure of 1 ·2EtOH has been determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, a= 24.279(2), b= 20.864(2), c= 17.635(1)Å, g = 121.730(2)°, Z= 8, R 1= 0.064, wR 2= 0.167. The Ni(II) ion in 1 ·2EtOH is coordinated to three nitrogen atoms and one oxygen atom of the ligand L and two nitrogen atoms of phen to form a distorted octahedron. Spectroscopic properties of 1 and 2 are reported.  相似文献

[Cu(bpea)Cl]ClO4 (1) and a new copper(II) complex [Cu(bpma)(Ph-COO)(H2O)]ClO4 (2) [bpea?=?N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)ethylamine; bpma?=?N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)methylamine] have been synthesized. Complex 2 was crystallized in monoclinic space group P21/c with unit cell parameters a ?=?16.460(6)?Å, b ?=?11.222(4)?Å, c?=?12.522(5)?Å, and β?=?97.985(6)°. Interactions of the complexes with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) have been investigated by UV absorption, fluorescence, and cyclic voltammetry; thus, modes of CT-DNA binding for the complexes have been proposed. Furthermore, DNA cleavage activities by the complexes were performed in the absence of any external agents. The influence of complex concentration or reaction time on the DNA cleavage was studied.  相似文献

Cd(ΙΙ) and Cu(II) complexes of an acyclic pentadentate Schiff base were prepared by template condensation of two equivalents of 2-acetylpyridine with one equivalent of bis(3-aminopropyl)amine in methanol. The resulting complexes [CdL(NO3)]ClO4 (1) and [CuL](ClO4)2 · CH3CN (2) were characterized by X-ray crystallography, elemental analysis, IR and mass spectrometry in both cases and by NMR in the case of 1. The X-ray crystallographic structure determination of these complexes revealed six-coordinate distorted octahedral geometry for 1, with the sixth coordination by nitrate and five-coordinate for 2 with trigonal-bipyramidal Cu(II).  相似文献

A new metal-organic coordination polymer [Zn2(C2O4)2(C3N2H4)2] n (1) has been hydrothermally synthesized with ZnCl2·2H2O, oxalic acid and imidazole. The compound has a 2D network, consisting of infinite zinc(II) oxalate chains connected to each other by three-coordinate oxygen atoms. Within the chains, the zinc atoms are each octahedrally coordinated by one nitrogen atom from imidazole and five oxygen atoms from oxalate groups. Furthermore, there are two coordination modes of oxalate to zinc ions: chelate bis-bidentate and chelate/bridging bis-bidentate in compound 1, and the latter is rare among related compounds. New antimony(III) chloride complexes with heterocyclic thioamides, thiourea (TU), 2-mercapto-5-methyl-benzimidazole (MMBZIM), 3-methyl-2-mercaptobenzothiazole (MMBZT), 2-mercaptopyrimidine (PMT), 2-mercaptopyridine (PYT) of formulae [SbCl3(TU)2] (1), [SbCl3(MMBZIM)2] (2), [SbCl3(MMBZT)2] (3), [SbCl3(PMT)2] (4), [SbCl3(μ 2-S)(PYT)2] (5) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and FT-Raman spectroscopies, and TG-DTA analysis. The crystal structure of 5 was also determined by X-ray diffraction. [C10H10Cl3N2S2Sb] (5) crystallizes in space group C2/c, with a?=?25.0169(10)?Å, b?=?9.7952(3)?Å, c?=?12.9329(5)?Å, β?=?109.702(4)°, and Z?=?8. Crystals of 5 grown from acetonitrile solutions adopt a square-pyramidal geometry. The equatorial plane is formed by three chlorides and one sulfur atom from the thione ligand while the second sulfur is axial. The complexes were evaluated for their biological activities and compared with [SbCl3(MMI)2] (6) (MMI?=?2-mercapto-1-methylimidazole) and other isostructural ones. The complexes showed moderate cytostatic activity against murine leukemia cells (L1210), murine mammary carcinoma cells (FM3A), human T-lymphocyte (Molt4/C8, CEM), and human cervix carcinoma (HeLa) cells. The chloro and iodo derivatives show better cytostatic activity than the bromo ones.  相似文献

Four new ligands, (4-methyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-amine (A), (2,3-dimethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-amine (B), (2,4-dimethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-amine (C) and (2,5-dimethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylmethylene-amine (D), and their corresponding copper(I) complexes, [Cu(A)2]ClO4 (1a), [Cu(B)2]ClO4 (1b), [Cu(C)2]ClO4 (1c), [Cu(D)2]ClO4 (1d), [Cu(A)(PPh3)2]ClO4 (2a), [Cu(B)(PPh3)2]ClO4 (2b), [Cu(C)(PPh3)2]ClO4 (2c) and [Cu(D)(PPh3)2]ClO4 (2d), have been synthesized and characterized by CHN analyses, 1H and 13C NMR, IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The crystal structures of [Cu(B)2]ClO4 (1b), [Cu(C)2]ClO4 (1c) and [Cu(A)(PPh3)2]ClO4 · 1/2CH3CN (2a) were determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction. The coordination polyhedron about the copper(I) center in the three complexes is best described as a distorted tetrahedron. A quasireversible redox behavior is observed for the complexes.  相似文献

A diphosphinoamine ligand with a polymerizable side chain, (PPh2)2N? CH2? C6H4? CH?CH2 (vbzpnp or 1 ), was synthesized. The ligand could be polymerized by anionic polymerization with n‐butyllithium as the initiator. Polyvbzpnp was soluble in tetrahydrofuran and chloroform but was insoluble in methanol and was characterized with NMR, IR, and gel permeation chromatography. The number‐average and weight‐average molecular weights were 40,050 and 55,690, respectively, and the polydispersity index was 1.39. [Cu(CH3CN)4]ClO4 formed a bischelated complex with the monomer and produced [Cu( 1 )2]ClO4 ( 2 ), and CuCl formed a tetramer, Cu4( 1 )2Cl4 ( 3 ). All the compounds ( 1 , 2 , and 3 ) were characterized with single‐crystal‐structure determination, NMR, and IR spectroscopy. The addition of [Cu(CH3CN)4]ClO4 to polyvbzpnp resulted in an insoluble crosslinked polymer, which was characterized with solid‐state 31P {1H} magic‐angle‐spinning NMR. The copolymerization of styrene and 1 produced a styrene–vbzpnp copolymer that was found to be soluble in common organic solvents. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The crystal structures of [Mn(bpa)2](ClO4)2 (1), [bpa?=?bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine], and Mn(6-Mebpa)2(ClO4)2 (2), [6-Mebpa?=?(6-methyl-2-pyridylmethyl)(2-pyridylmethyl)amine] have been determined. In 1, two facial [Mn(bpa)2]2+ isomers are observed in the same unit cell, one with C i (1a) and the other with C2 (1b) symmetries. In 2, only the isomer with C2 symmetry is observed. The structure of [Mn(bpa)2]2+ with only C2 symmetry has been reported previously (Inorg. Chem., 31, 4611 (1992)). The bond length order Mn–Namine?>?Mn–Npyridyl, observed in the C2 and the C i isomers in the crystals of 1, is the reverse of the order observed in the structure of [Mn(bpa)2](ClO4)2 which contains only the C2 isomer in the unit cell. The structure of 2 in which only the C2 isomer is found, also shows the bond length order Mn–Npyridyl?>?Mn–Namine. In cyclic voltammetric experiments in acetonitrile solutions, 1 and 2 show irreversible anodic peaks at E p?=?1.60 and 1.90?V respectively, (vs. Ag/AgCl), assigned to the oxidation of Mn(II) to Mn(III). The substantially higher oxidation potential of 2 is attributable to a higher rearrangement energy in complex 2 due to the steric effect of the methyl substituent.  相似文献

The oxalato-bridged dinickel(II) complex with the title ligand, [Ni2(L a H)2(μ-ox)](ClO4)2·2H2O (1), was prepared and its structure was determined by X-ray crystallography, as well as that of the monomeric nickel(II) complex, [Ni(L a H)ox]ClO4·3H2O (2). In Complexes 1 and 2, the ligand, L a , is folded along the N(4)–Ni(1)–N(11) axis. The antiferromagnetic coupling between the two nickel(II) centers in 1 was revealed and the coupling constant, J?=??17.4?cm?1, and g?=?2.11 were estimated. It was found that the oxalato-bridged dimer 1 was readily converted to the mononuclear cis-nickel(II) complex [NiL a (OH2)](ClO4)2 (3a), in basic aqueous solution. In [NiL a (CH3CN)]I2 (3b), which was derived from 3a, the aminomethyl pendant arm is coordinated to the Ni(II) ion and L a is folded along the N(1)–Ni(1)–N(8) axis.  相似文献

The ligand 1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutylisocyanide, CNCMe2CH2CMe3, i.e. t-octylisocyanide, with Co(ClO4)2 · 6H2O or Co(BF4)2 · 6H2O in ethanol, produces pentakis(alkylisocyanide)cobalt(II) complexes, [Co(CNC8H17-t)5](ClO4)2 (1) and [Co(CNC8H17-t)5](BF4)2 · 2.0H2O (2). These Co(II) complexes undergo reduction/substitution upon reaction with trialkylphosphine ligands to produce [Co(CNC8H17-t)3{P(C4H9-n)3}2]ClO4 (3), [Co(CNC8H17-t)3{P(C4H9-n)3}2]BF4 (4), and [Co(CNC8H17-t)3{P(C3H7-n)3}2]ClO4 (5). Complex 3 is oxidized with AgClO4 to produce [Co(CNC8H17-t)3{P(C4H9-n)3}2](ClO4)2 (6). Complex 1 yields [Co(CNC8H17-t)4py2](ClO4)2 (7) upon dissolving in pyridine. Reactions with triarylphosphine and triphenylarsine ligands were unsatisfactory. The chemistry of 1 and 2 is therefore more similar to that of Co(II) complexes with CNCMe3 than with CNCHMe2, other alkylisocyanides, or arylisocyanides, but shows some behavior dissimilar to any known Co(II) complexes of alkylisocyanides or arylisocyanides. Infrared and electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivities, and cyclic voltammetry are reported and compared with known complexes. 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR data were also measured for the diamagnetic complexes 3, 4, and 5.  相似文献

Two new copper(II) complexes, [CuL2] (1) and [Cu2L2(NCS)2] · 2CH3CN (2) (HL = 2-bromo-4-chloro-6-[(2-morpholin-4-ylethylimino)methyl]phenol), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 was synthesized by reaction of HL with copper(II) acetate in methanol, while 2 was synthesized by adding ammonium thiocyanate to a methanol/acetonitrile (V : V = 2 : 1) solution of 1. Complex 1 crystallizes in the P21/n space group, and the thiocyanato-bridged dinuclear copper(II) complex, 2, crystallizes in the Pbcn space group. The Cu in 1 is four-coordinate square-planar with two imine N and two phenolate O atoms from two Schiff-base ligands. The Cu in 2 is five-coordinate square-pyramidal with NNO donor atoms of one Schiff-base ligand and one N atom of a bridging thiocyanate ligand defining the basal plane, and with one S atom of another bridging thiocyanate ligand occupying the apical position.  相似文献

New complexes having the formulae [L2CoX2] and [LCuCl2], [LCuCl] and [LCu](ClO4)2 where L?=?(2-thiophene)-(5,6-diphenyl-[1,2,4]-triazin-3-yl)hydrazone TDPTH; X?=?Cl, OAc or ClO4 have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, conductance, magnetic moments and infrared, electronic and ESR spectral data. The IR spectra indicate that TDPTH is a neutral bidentate ligand, coordinating via a triazine-N and azomethine-N in [L2CoX2] and [LCuCl2] with the thiophene-S not coordinated but is tridentate in [LCuCl] and [LCu](ClO4)2 through the same two nitrogen atoms and thiophene-S. The magnetic moment and electronic spectral data suggest a distorted octahedral structure for Co(II) complexes, a dimeric square pyramidal geometry for [LCuCl2] through chloride bridges and a dimeric diamagnetic, four-coordinate copper in [LCu](ClO4)2 through thiophene-S bridges. The X-band ESR spectra of Co(II) complexes, in the solid state, are rhombic with three g values consistent with a high-spin distorted octahedral structure. The X-band ESR spectrum of the powdered sample of both [LCuCl2]·2H2O and [LCu](ClO4)2 at room temperature and at 77?K showed only one broad signal due to?ΔM s?=?±?1 transition and a weak signal due to the forbidden?ΔM s?=?±?2 transition, indicating an antiferromagnetic interaction between copper(II) centers whereas [LCuCl] is ESR silent, indicating a monovalent copper ion in this complex.  相似文献

Two new mononuclear cobalt(II) complexes [Co(ntb)(pic)](ClO4) · (CH3OH)2.35 (1) and [Co(ntb)(nic)](ClO4) · CH3OH (2) were synthesized and structurally characterized, where ntb is tris(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)amine, pic is the anion of picolinic acid, and nic is the anion of nicotinic acid. The X-ray analysis indicates that the Co(II) center is six-coordinate in distorted octahedral and five-coordinate in distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry for 1 and 2, respectively. In 1, the picolinate anion coordinates to Co(II) in a bidentate μ2-N,O chelating mode. In 2, the nicotinate anion coordinates with Co(II) through a monodentate carboxylate oxygen. 1-D chain structures were formed by intermolecular hydrogen bonds in the two complexes and π–π interactions are important for the stabilization of the structures.  相似文献
