Reaction of the ligand 2,2′-diphenyl-4,4′-bithiazole (DPBTZ) with Hg(SCN)2, Tl(NO3)3, CuCl, and PdCl2 gives complexes with stoichiometry [Hg(DPBTZ)(SCN)2], [Tl(DPBTZ)(NO3)3], [Cu(DPBTZ)(H2O)Cl], and [Pd(DPBTZ)Cl2]. The new complexes were characterized by elemental analyses and infrared spectroscopy. The crystal structure of [Hg(DPBTZ)(SCN)2] determined by X-ray crystallography. The Hg atom in the title monomeric complex, (2,2′-diphenyl-4,4′-bithiazole)mercury(II)bisthiocyanate, [Hg(C18H12N2S2)(SCN)2], is four-coordinate having an irregular tetrahedral geometry composed of two S atoms of thiocyanate ions [Hg-S 2.4025(15) and 2.4073(15) Å] and two N atoms of 2,2′-diphenyl-4,4′-bithiazole ligand [Hg-N 2.411(4) and 2.459(4) Å]. The bond angle S(3)-Hg(1)-S(4) of 147.46(5)° has the greatest derivation from ideal tetrahedral geometry. Intermolecular interaction between Hg(1) and two S atoms of two neighboring molecules, 3.9318(15) and 3.9640(18) Å, make the Hg(1) distort from a tetrahedron to a disordered octahedron. The attempts for preparation complexes of Tl(I), Pb(II), Bi(III), Cd(II) ions with 2,2′-diphenyl-4,4′-bithiazole ligand were not successful and also the attempts for preparation complexes of 4,4′,5,5′-tetraphenyl-2,2′-bithizole ligand with Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Co(III), Mn(II), Mn(III), Fe(II), Fe(III), Cr(III), Zn(II), Tl(III), Pb(II), Hg(II), Cu(I), Pd(II) were not successful. This point can be regarded as the initial electron withdrawing of phenyl rings and also their spatial steric effects.  相似文献

[{CuCl(dm4bt)}2 μ-Cl)2] (1) (dm4bt = 2,2′-dimethyl-4,4′-bithiazole) was prepared from the reaction of CuCl2 · 2H2O with 2,2′-dimethyl-4,4′-bithiazole in methanol; [Cu(dm4bt)2NO3](NO3) (2) was prepared from the reaction of Cu(NO3)2 · 3H2O with 2,2′-dimethyl-4,4′-bithiazole in methanol. Both complexes were characterized by IR, UV–Vis spectroscopy, and single-crystal structure. The structure of 1 consists of centrosymmetric dimeric [{CuCl(dm4bt)}(μ-Cl)], in which two chloro ligands bridge the coppers forming a four-membered ring; a terminal chloride and a bidentate chelating bithiazole complete five coordination at each Cu(II) in a highly distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry. The mononuclear structure 2 consists of a Cu(II), two 2,2′-dimethyl-4,4′-bithiazoles, one monodentate nitrate and one uncoordinated nitrate in a highly distorted square pyramid.  相似文献

Four new mononuclear copper(II) complexes with methyl acetoacetate and benzoylacetone in the presence of 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,2′-bipyridine were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR, and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The molecular structures of complexes [Cu(MAA)(bpy)(ClO4)] (1a), [Cu(bzac)(bpy)]ClO4 (2a), [Cu(MAA)(phen)(ClO4)] (1b) and [Cu(bzac)(phen)(ClO4)] (2b) were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction technique. 1a, 1b, and 2b are five coordinate with a distorted square pyramidal geometry and the structure of 2a consists of isolated [Cu(bzac)(bpy)]+ cations and perchlorate counter anions. The electrochemical studies of copper complexes in acetonitrile solution showed that CuII/CuI reduction processes are electrochemically irreversible. Cytotoxic activity of complexes was screened, including an MTT assay against gastric cancer cell line (MKN-45). The four Cu(II) complexes exhibited lethal effects against MKN-45 cell lines and the half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) values obtained were much lower in comparison with 5-fluorouracil. In addition, MTT and migration studies revealed that benzoylacetone complexes are more active than complexes of methyl acetoacetate against the MKN-45 cancer cell lines. Docking simulations of Cu(II) complexes on DNA revealed that the most stable adducts with DNA bind in the minor groove. All complexes display a binding specificity to the A/T rich regions.  相似文献

Assemblies of ofloxacin (Hoflo) with Cu(II), in the presence of the organonitrogen ligands, such as 2,2′-bipyridyl (bpy), 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (dmbpy), and 8-hydroxyquinoline (hq), under similar conditions, yield a series of three coordination complexes, [Cu(oflo)(bpy)(H2O)](ClO4)(H2O)1.5 (1), [Cu(Hoflo)(dmbpy)(ClO4)](ClO4)(H2O)2 (2), and [Cu(oflo)(hq)](ClO4)(H2O)2 (3). All three complexes have been structurally determined and characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. All of the Cu(II) atoms adopt the similar square pyramidal coordination geometries. However, when considering the longer Cu–O contacts in 2, its coordination geometry turns out to be distorted octahedral and a binuclear motif is afforded. The results reveal that, distinct extended network architectures of 1D (for 1) and 2D (for 2 and 3) are further constructed with the aid of weak secondary interactions of H-bonding and aromatic stacking, by introducing various heterocyclic co-ligands. The thermal stabilities of the complexes are described and discussed.  相似文献

First examples of transition metal complexes with HpicOH [Cu(picOH)2(H2O)2] ( 1 ), [Cu(picO)(2,2′‐bpy)]·2H2O ( 2 ), [Cu(picO)(4,4′‐bpy)0.5(H2O)]n ( 3 ), and [Cu(picO)(bpe)0.5(H2O)]n ( 4 ) (HpicOH = 6‐hydroxy‐picolinic acid; 2,2′‐bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridine; 4,4′‐bpy = 4,4′‐bipyridine; bpe = 1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethane) have been synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The results show that HpicOH ligand can be in the enol or ketonic form, and adopts different coordination modes under different pH value of the reaction mixture. In complex 1 , HpicOH ligand is in the enol form and adopts a bidentate mode. While in complexes 2 – 4 , as the pH rises, HpicOH ligand becomes in the ketonic form and adopts a tridentate mode. The coordination modes in complexes 1 – 4 have not been reported before. Because of the introduction of the terminal ligands 2,2′‐bpy, complex 2 is of binuclear species; whereas in complexes 3 and 4 , picO ligands together with bridging ligands 4,4′‐bpy and bpe connect CuII ions to form 2D nets with (123)2(12)3 topology.  相似文献

New complexes,of bis(2,2'-diamino-4,4'-bithiazole)sulfate nickel(Ⅱ) and bis(2,2'-diami-no-4,4'-bithiazole)sulfate cobalt(Ⅱ),have been prepared. The complexes were characterized by infrared and UV-Vis spectroscopy,1H NMR,elemental analyses and molar conductivity. The effect of these complexes on the DNA synthesis of sarcoma 180 cells has been studied by the technique of isotopic liquid scintillation. The results indicated that complexes show ability to inhibit DNA synthesis of the tumor cells. In order to provide a molecular basis for understanding the biological effects, the probe,[trana-en2Os(η2-H2)](CF3SO3)2 (en,ethylenediamine) as a monitor was first used to explore interaction of the complexes with 2'-deoxyguanosine-5'-monophosphate (dGMP).  相似文献

Reactions of sparfloxacin (Hsf) with Cu(II), in the absence or presence of auxiliary ligands (bpy, 2,2′-bipyridine; dmbpy, 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine) under similar conditions, afforded three coordination complexes, [Cu(Hsf)2(ClO4)](ClO4)(CH3OH)2(H2O)3.75 (1), [Cu(Hsf)(bpy)(ClO4)](ClO4)(H2O) (2), and [Cu2(Hsf)2(dmbpy)2(ClO4)3](ClO4)(C2H5OH)3(H2O)0.75 (3). All three complexes have been structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In their crystal structures, distinct extended metallosupramolecular architectures, specifically 3D (for 1), 2D (for 2), and 2D + 1D (for 3), are constructed with the aid of secondary interactions involving H-bonding and aromatic stacking.  相似文献

Cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry studies of 2,2′-bipyridyl, 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridyl and 2,2′, 2″-terpyridyl complexes of Fe(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) in acetonitrile are described. E1/2 values for M(III)/M(II) and M(II)/M)I) couples are compared and crystal field effects discussed. A series of M(I) and M(III) polypyridyl complexes have been prepared by controlled potential electrolysis; these include a number of 3+ and 1+ oxidation state complexes of nickel which have not previously been isolated — [Ni(bipy)3]-(ClO4)3, [Ni(dimbipy)3](ClO4)3, [Ni(terpy)2](ClO4)3 and [Ni(bipy)2]ClO4.  相似文献

A novel double helical dicopper(II) complex was synthesized by reaction of a polydentate ligand L = 2,2′‐bipyridyl‐6,6′‐bis(2‐acetylpyrazinohydrazone) with copper(II) perchlorate in CH3CN. The self‐assembling process was studied by UV‐Vis spectrometric titration experiments which revealed the formation of dinuclear complexes [Cu2L2](ClO4)4. The structure of dicopper double‐helicate was confirmed by X‐ray diffractometry. Each copper(II) center occupies a distorted octahedral environment. Variable‐temperature magnetic measurements reveal weak antiferromagnetic interactions between Cu(II) ion centers with J = ?0.63 cm?1.  相似文献

Four metal(II) complexes with benzene-1,2,3-triyltris(oxy)triacetic acid (H3L), {[Co1.5(L)(H2O)6]·6H2O}n (1), {[Co1.5(L)(4,4′-bipy)1.5(H2O)4]·4H2O}n (2), {[Co(HL)(2,2′-bipy)(H2O)2]·1.5H2O}n (3), and {[Cu(HL)(phen)(H2O)2]·H2O}n (4) (4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine; 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine; phen = phenanthroline), were prepared and structurally characterized. Complex 2 displays a 1-D structure, while 1, 3, and 4 reveal 0-D structures, which further extend to 3-D supramolecular networks by hydrogen bonding interactions, of which 1 and 4 contain double-helical chains, 2 includes meso-helices, and 3 comprises single-helices. Furthermore, the thermal stabilities and antibacterial activities of the complexes were studied.  相似文献

The preparation, crystal structures and spectroscopic characterization of four oxalate copper(II) complexes containing the 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (Mebpy) or di(2-pyridyl)sulfide (DPS) nitrogen ligands namely [μ-(ox){Cu(Mebpy)(NO3)(H2O)}2] (1), [μ-(ox){Cu(Mebpy)(ClO4)(H2O)}2] (2), [μ-(ox){Cu(DPS)(H2O)}2](ClO4)2 (3) and [Cu(DPS)(ox)(H2O)] · 2H2O (4) are described. X-ray diffraction measurements have shown that complexes 13 are binuclear, in which the oxalate anion bridges two Cu(II) centers, while the complex (4) is mononuclear and the oxalate anion adopts the terminal bidentate chelating coordination mode. In 1 and 2 the Cu(II) sites display a distorted octahedral geometry (4+2 environment) and in compounds 3 and 4 the Cu(II) centers exhibit a slightly distorted square pyramidal geometry. In addition, complexes 1 and 2 present a 2D supramolecular arrangement through hydrogen bonds between coordination water molecules and nitrate or perchlorate anions and π-stacking interaction between the pyridyl rings of Mebpy nitrogen ligands.  相似文献

Three new 2,2′-diamino-4,4′-bithiazole (DABTZ) lead(II) complexes were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR-, 1H-NMR-, and 13C-NMR-spectroscopy. The single crystal X-ray structural analysis of [Pb(DABTZ)(μ-SCN)(μ-NO3)] n shows the complex to be a 1D chain polymer as a result of sequential thiocyanate and nitrate bridging. The Pb atoms are seven-coordinated by two nitrogen atoms of the 2,2′-diamino-4,4′-bithiazole, three nitrate and two thiocyanate ligands. The arrangement of the 2,2′-diamino-4,4′-bithiazole, nitrate and thiocyanate ligands does not suggest a gap in the coordination around the PbII ion, caused by a stereo-active lone pair of electrons on lead(II) where the coordination around the lead atoms is the less common holodirected.  相似文献

The title compound, [Cu(ClO4)(C5H6N2)2(C12H12N2)]ClO4, was prepared by in situ partial ligand substitution between 3‐aminopyridine and 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine at room temperature. The central copper(II) ion is five‐coordinated by one bidentate 4,4′‐dimethyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine molecule, two monodentate pyridine‐coordinated 3‐aminopyridine molecules and one apical O atom from the perchlorate counter‐ion. Intermolecular N—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen‐bonding interactions form a hydrogen‐bond‐sustained network.  相似文献

A novel ligand, N,N′‐Bis‐[3‐(2‐nitrophenyl)‐allylidene]‐ethane‐1,2‐diamine (nca2en), and their corresponding copper(I) complexes, [Cu(ncaen)2]ClO4 ( 1 ), and [Cu(nca2en)(PPh3)2]BPh4 ( 2 ), have been synthesized and characterized by CHN analyses, 1H and 13C‐NMR, IR, and UV‐Vis spectroscopy. The crystal and molecular structures of [Cu(ncaen)2]ClO4 ( 1 ), and [Cu(nca2en)(PPh3)2]BPh4 ( 2 ), were determined by X‐ray crystallography from single‐crystal data. The coordination polyhedron about the copper(I) atom in the two complexes is best described as a distorted tetrahedron. A quasireversible redox behavior is observed for complex 1 and 2 (E1/2 = 0.55 and 0.95 V, respectively).  相似文献

In comparison with the obtained complexes with four bis(pyrazolyl)methanes having different bulkiness at pyrazolyl rings, the second coordination sphere effects on the ligands are discussed in detail. Moreover, the structures and physicochemical properties of these obtained complexes are compared with those of the related complexes with the neutral tridentate tris(pyrazolyl)methane ligand.  相似文献

New square-planar bis(macrocyclic)dicopper(II) complexes containing phenylene bridges between 16-membered pentaaza macrocyclic subunits have been synthesized via in-situ one pot template condensation reaction (IOPTCR) of aromatic nitrogen-nitrogen linker (R = 1,4-phenylenediamine; benzidine; 4,4′-diaminodiphenylmethane; 4,4′-diaminodiphenylether; 4,4′-diaminodiphenylsulfone), formaldehyde, bis(1,3-diaminopropane)copper(II) perchlorate and 1,3-dibromopropane in a 1:4:2:2 molar ratio results in the formation of new series of binuclear copper(II) complexes; 1-phenyl- (1); 1,1′-phenyl- (2); 1,1′-diphenylmethan- (3); 1,1′-diphenylether- (4); 1,1′-diphenylsulfone- (5) bis(1,3,7,11,15-pentaazacyclohexadecane)copper(II)), {[Cu([16]aneN5)]2R}(ClO4)4″. The formation of the macrocyclic framework and the mode of bonding of the complexes have been confirmed by data obtained from elemental analyses, UV-visible, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, electronic spectral studies, conductivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements. These bis(macrocyclic) complexes catalyzed efficiently the selective oxidation of tetrahydrofuran into tetrahydrofuran-2-one and a small amount of tetrahydrofuran-2-ol and 4-hydroxybutyraldehyde using dil. H2O2 as the oxidant.  相似文献

The chelating organic ligands of 2,2’-bipyridine (2,2’-bipy), di(pyrid-2-yl)amine (dpa) and 2,6-di(pyrid-2-ylamino)pyridine (dpap) were respectively applied to react with H2fum (fumaric acid) and copper salts, affording three different complexes [Cu2(fum)(2,2’-bipy)4]•2ClO4 (1), [Cu2(µ-OH)2(fum)(dpa)2]•2H2O (2) and [Cu(SO4)(H2O)(dpap)]•H2O (3). These complexes were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Each penta-coordinated Cu(II) ion exhibits a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry in 1. The fum ligand links copper ions to form a dinuclear copper unit. While in 2, the fum ligands connect [Cu2(µ-OH)2(dpa)2] unit to construct a 1D zigzag chain. Unexpectedly, when dpap instead of dpa was used under the same conditions, only one mononuclear complex 3 was formed. Crystal packings show that 1—3 form 3D supramolecular architectures through non-covalent interactions (multiple hydrogen bonds and C—H…π/π-π interactions). In addition, the study of the magnetic property reveals dominating ferromagnetic interactions between Cu(II) atoms in 1.  相似文献
