The kinetics of the bromate oxidation of tris(1,10-phenanthroline)iron(II) (Fe(phen)32+) and aquoiron(II) (Fe2+ (aq)) have been studied in aqueous sulfuric acid solutions at μ = 1.0M and with Fe(II) complexes in great excess. The rate laws for both reactions generally can be described as -d [Fe(II)]/6dt = d[Br?]/dt = k[Fe(II)] [BrO?3] for [H+]0 = 0.428–1.00M. For [BrO?3]0 = 1.00 × 10?4M. [Fe2+]0 = (0.724–1.45)x 10?2 M, and [H+]0 = 1.00M, k = 3.34 ± 0.37 M?1s?1 at 25°. For [BrO?3]0 = (1.00–1.50) × 10?4M, [Fe2+]0 = 7.24 × 10?3M ([phen]0 = 0.0353M), and [H+]0 = 1.00M, k = (4.40 ± 0.16) × 10?2 M?1s?1 at 25°. Kinetic results suggest that the BrO?3-Fe2+ reaction proceeds by an inner-sphere mechanism while the BrO?3-Fe(phen)32+ reaction by a dissociative mechanism. The implication of these results for the bromate-gallic acid and other bromate oscillators is also presented.  相似文献

Summary The kinetics of oxidation of [CoII(phen)3]2+ (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) by copper(III) imine-oxime complexes are first-order in each reactant. All reactions proceed via two parallel pathways; one pH independent, the other pH dependent. The second-order rate constant varies with [H+] as k2 = k inf2 supo + k inf2 supH [H+]. The rapidity of the electron transfer step, coupled with the relative inertness of [CoII(phen)3]2+ over the pH range studied and the absence of a bridging atom on the phen ligand, supports an outer-sphere mechanism for this process. Reasonably good agreement between the experimental rate constants and those calculated using the Marcus equation has been obtained.  相似文献

Two novel RuII complexes [Ru(phen)2(PNOPH)]2+ and [Ru(dmp)2 (PNOPH)]2+ (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dmp = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, PNOPH = 2-(4-nitrophenyl)imidazo-[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline) and their deprotoned complexes were synthesized and characterized by ES–MS, 1H - n.m.r, u.v.–vis. and electrochemistry. The crystal structure of the deprotonated complex [Ru(dmp)2 (PNOP)][ClO4] · CH3CN was determined by means of X-ray single crystal diffraction. Nonlinear optical properties of the RuII complexes were investigated by Z-scan techniques in DMF solution, and all of them exhibited both NLO absorption and self-defocusing effect. The corresponding effective NLO susceptibilities |3 | of the complexes are 2.39 × 10-12–5.80 × 10-12 esu.  相似文献

The synthesis, separation, and characterization of mixed-ligand iron(II) complexes containing 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione (pdon), and NCS? are reported. The mixed-ligand complexes [Fe(phen)(pdon)2]2+ and [Fe(phen)2(pdon)]2+ were prepared from iron(II) sulfate hepta hydrate and both ligands. The mixture of both complexes formed regardless the ratio of the ligands or the reaction time; therefore, the complexes were separated successfully on the reversed phase (RP) Develosil RP-Aqueous [C30] 5?µm, 150?×?4.6?mm column by two different methods. The first method was the ion paired RP chromatography performed under gradient elution with acetonitrile–water containing 0.001?mol?L?1 KPF6 aqueous as mobile phases. The second method was the RP chromatography performed under gradient elution with methanol and water as mobile phases. The gradient elution with water–methanol as eluents was preferred for the semi preparative separations allowing one to use the complexes without further purification upon separation, different than the first method and its variations so far. Three complexes (5, 6, and 7) were characterized by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, NMR, UV-Vis, and IR.  相似文献

比较研究了以C2O42-为共反应物时5个结构相关的Ru(II)配合物[Ru(bpy)2L1]2+, [Ru(bpy)2L2]2+, [Ru(bpy)2L3]2+, [Ru(phen)2L1]2+和[Ru(phen)2L2]2+(其中bpy=2,2′-联吡啶, phen=1,10-邻菲啰啉, L1=4-羧基苯基咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉, L2=3-羧基-4-羟基苯基咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉, L3=3,4-二羟基苯基咪唑[4,5-f][1,10]邻菲啰啉)的电致化学发光(ECL)性质. 结果表明, 酚羟基的存在能有效地淬灭Ru(II)配合物[Ru(bpy)2L2]2+, [Ru(bpy)2L3]2+和[Ru(phen)2L2]2+的ECL, 其它Ru(II)配合物的ECL量子效率与[Ru(bpy)3]2+相差不大.  相似文献

Copper (II) complexes [Cu(dmit)(phen)]2 (1) and [Cu(mnt)(phen)] n (2) (mnt2??=?maleonitriledithiolate, dmit2??=?1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolate, phen?=?1,10-phenanthroline) have been prepared by ligand-exchange between phen and [N(Bu)4]2[Cu(dmit)2] or [N(Bu)4]2[Cu(mnt)2]. Both complexes have been characterized by spectroscopic, electrochemical, and single-crystal X-ray analysis. In complex 1, dimers are extended into a two-dimensional array by weak S5–Cu contacts. In complex 2, monomers are extended into chains in a head-to-tail arrangement by weak Cu–S coordination bonds and ππ stacking interactions.  相似文献

In this work, we report the efficient, high stable copper(II) complexes intercalated graphene oxide (GO) used as green catalysts for copper(II) complex mediated click reaction. Copper(II) Bis(2,2′-bipyridine) [CuII (bpy)2] (C1) and Copper(II) Bis(1,10-phenanthroline) [CuII (phen)2] (C2) have synthesized for the intercalation of corresponding nanocomposites with GO, [GO@CuII (bpy)2] (GO-C1) and [GO@CuII (phen)2] (GO-C2). The noncovalent interaction of complexes supported on the surface of the GO nanosheets proves as an evident active site to facilitate the enhanced catalytic activity of copper-catalyzed alkyne azide cycloaddition (CuIIAAC) reaction for the isolation of 1,4-disubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles as click products in shorter reaction time with 80%–91% yield (five examples). The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of these composites shows the enhanced interlayers d-spacing range of 1.01–1.12 nm due to the intercalation of copper(II) complexes in between the GO basal planes and characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Raman, UV, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The as-prepared nanocomposites were employed for the typical click reactions using the substrates of azide and acetylene. These classes of composite materials can be referred to recyclable, heterogeneous, green catalysts with high atom economy and could also be used for the isolation of click products in biomolecules.  相似文献

New mixed-anion cadmium(II) complexes of 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) ligands, [Cd(phen)2(NO2)1.65(NO3)0.35] and Cd(bpy)(ClO4)(CH3COO) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR-, 1H NMR-, 13C- NMR and 113Cd NMR spectroscopy. The single crystal X-ray data of [Cd(phen)2(NO2)1.65(NO3)0.35] show the complex to be a monomer and that the Cd atom has an unsymmetrical eight-coordinate geometry, being coordinated by four nitrogen atoms of ‘phen’ ligands and four oxygen atoms of the nitrite and nitrate anions. There is a short ππ stacking interaction between parallel aromatic rings.  相似文献

The saccharinato complexes [Zn(phen)2(sac)(H2O)]sac (1) and [Zn(sac)(dmp)(H2O)](sac) (2), where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dmp = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, and sac =saccharinato ion/ligand, were synthesized by the reaction of [Zn(sac)2(H2O)4] · 2H2O with ligands and have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and 1H NMR spectroscopies. Conductivity of complexes was measured in DMSO. Compound 1 is characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and compared with some isomorphous zinc-saccharinate complexes reported previously. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P 1 , with Z = 2, and consists of alternating slightly distorted octahedral [Zn(phen)2(sac)(H2O)]+ and noncoordinated saccharinate. The zinc bound aqua is hydrogen bonded to an oxygen of carbonyl in the saccharinate ligand and the SO2 group in the saccharinate counter-ion from an adjacent molecule. Intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen bonds and C–H ··· O and C–H ··· N short contacts lead to a 3-D network.  相似文献

DNA-binding properties of a number of ruthenium complexes with different polypyridine ligands are reported. The new polypyridine ligand BFIP (=2-benzo[b] furan-2-yl-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline) and its ruthenium complexes [Ru(bpy)2BFIP]2+ (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine), [Ru(dmb)2BFIP]2+ (dmb = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine), and [Ru(phen)2BFIP]2+ (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectra, IR, UV-Vis, 1H- and 13C-NMR, and cyclic voltammetry. The DNA binding of these complexes to calf-thymus DNA (CT-DNA) was investigated by spectrophotometric, fluorescence, and viscosity measurements. The results suggest that ruthenium(II) complexes bind to CT-DNA through intercalation. Photocleavage of pBR 322 DNA by these complexes was also studied, and [Ru(phen)2BFIP]2+ was found to be a much better photocleavage agent than the other two complexes.  相似文献

Four μ- oxamido heterodinuclear complexes, [Cu (oxae) Cr (L)2 ] (NO3) 3, where oxae denotes the N, N'bis (2-aminoethyl) oxamido dianion and L represents 1,10-phenanthroline (phen); 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (NO2-phen); 5-methyl-1, 10-phenanthroline (Me-phen) and 2, 2′-bipyridine (bpy), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic moments (at room temperature) and molar conductivity measurements and spectroscopy. It is proposed that these complexes have extended oxamido-bridged structures consisting of a copper (II) ion and a chromium (III) ion, which have a square planar environment and octahedral environment, respectively. The cryomagnetic properties of the [Cu(oxae)Cr(bpy)2(NO3)3(1) and [Cu(oxae)Cr(phen)2](NO3)3(2) complexes have been measured over the range of 4.2–300 K. The leastsquares fit of the experimental data based on the spin Hamiltonian, ? = - 2J?1·?2, the exchange integrals (J) were evaluated as +36.9 cm?1 for 1 and +35.8 cm?1 for 2. The reds have connived that the spin coupling between the adjacent copper (II) and chromium (III) ions through oxamido-bridge in both 1 and 2 is ferromagnetic.  相似文献

Two 2D complexes, [Co(mal)(phen)(H2O)2] (1) and [Ni(mal)(phen)(H2O)2] (2) (mal?=?malonate dianion; phen?=?1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized by the reaction of Co(ClO4)2·6H2O and Ni(ClO4)2·6H2O with disodium malonate and 1,10-phenanthroline in MeOH/H2O solution. Their crystal structures have been determined by X-ray diffraction. The structures of Complexes 1 and 2 show that each metal ion is coordinated by one 1,10-phenanthroline, two water molecules and a malonate ligand forming a distorted octahedral environment and each mononuclear fragment forms a 2D supramolecular network through H-bonding interactions.  相似文献

By controlling the concentration of the reaction system, two zinc(II) complexes, [Zn2(tsgluO)2(phen)2]n (1) and [Zn2(tsgluO)2(phen)2(H2O)2] (2) (H2tsgluO = N-tosyl-L-glutamic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectra, thermogravimetric analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes 1 and 2 both crystallize in the triclinic space group P-1. Complex 1 exhibits a 1-D double-chain structure. Complex 2 has a dinuclear structure which is extended by hydrogen-bonding interactions to form a 2-D supramolecular network. The structural difference indicates that the concentration plays a crucial role in modulating structures of coordination complexes. The two compounds also show intense fluorescence at room temperature.  相似文献

Four new heterotrinuclear complexes have been synthesized and characterized, namely {[Ni(L)2]2[Cu(opba)]}(ClO4)2, where opba denotes o-phenylenebis(oxamato) and L stands for 1,10-phenanthroline(phen) (1), 5-nitro-l,10-phenanthroline(NO2-phen) (2), 2,2′-bipyridyl(bpy) (S) and 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridyl(Me2bpy) (4). The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of {[Ni(phen)2]2[Cu(opba)]}(ClO4)23H2O has been studied in the 4–300 K range, giving the exchange integral J—109 cm?1. The HMT vs. T plot exhibits a minimum at about 100 K, characteristic of this kind of coupled polymetallic complex with an irregular spin-state structure.  相似文献

DNA binding and photocleavage characteristics of a series of mixed-ligand complexes of the type [M(phen)2LL]n+ (where M = Co(III), Ni(II) or Ru(II), LL = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), phenanthroline-dione (phen-dione) or dipyridophenazine (dppz) andn = 3 or 2) have been investigated in detail. Various physico-chemical and biochemical techniques including UV/Visible, fluorescence and viscometric titration, thermal denaturation, and differential pulse voltammetry have been employed to probe the details of DNA binding by these complexes; intrinsic binding constants (K b) have been estimated under a similar set of experimental conditions. Analysis of the results suggests that intercalative ability of the coordinated ligands varies as dppz>phen>phen-dione in this series of complexes. While the Co(II) and Ru(II) complexes investigated in this study effect photocleavage of the supercoiled pBR 322 DNA, the corresponding Ni(II) complexes are found to be inactive under similar experimental conditions. Results of detailed investigations carried out inquiring into the mechanistic aspects of DNA photocleavage by [Co(phen)2(dppz)]3+ have also been reported.  相似文献

Summary Reactions of ruthenium carbonyl complexes of the type [RuX2(CO)(Ph2RAs)3] (X=Cl or Br; R=Me or Et) with 2,2-bipyridyl (bipy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) in alcohol produce orange red cationic products of the formula [RuX(CO)(N-N)(Ph2RAs)2]ClO4 (N-N=bipy or phen). Likewise, the hydridocarbonyls of ruthenium and osmium of the type [MHX(CO)(Ph2RAs)3] (M=Ru or Os) react with bipy and phen to yield yellow cationic complexes of the composition [(MH(CO)(N-N)(Ph2RAs)2]ClO4. Structures have been assigned to all the complexes on the basis of i.r. and1 H n.m.r. spectral data.  相似文献

(E)-2-(2-hydroxybenzylideneamino)isoindoline-1,3-dione (Hbid) was prepared by condensation of N-aminophthalimide and salicylaldehyde and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR, and mass spectral studies. Mononuclear complexes [(phen)CuII(μ-Hbid)2H2O] (1), [(phen)CoII(Cl)2(μ-Hbid)]6H2O (2) (phen?=?1,10-phenanthroline) and binuclear complexes [CuII(μ-Hbid)]2 (3), and [CoII(μ-Hbid)]2 (4) with Hbid were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis, molar conductance, and thermogravimetric (TG) techniques. DNA-binding properties of 14 were investigated by UV spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and viscosity measurements. The results suggest that 1 and 2 bind to DNA by partial intercalation, whereas 3 and 4 find different groove-binding sites. The cleavage of these complexes with super coiled pUC19 has been studied using gel electrophoresis; all the complexes displayed chemical nuclease activity in the absence and presence of H2O2 via an oxidative mechanism. Complexes 14 inhibit the growth of both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.  相似文献

A ligand ipdp (ipdp?=?indeno[1′,2′?:?5,6]pyrazino[2,3-i]dipyrido[3,2-a?:?2′,3′-c]phenazine-8-one) and its ruthenium complexes, [Ru(L)2(ipdp)]2+ (L?=?bpy (2,2′-bipyridine), phen (1,10-phenanthroline)), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, electrospray mass spectra, and 1H NMR. The interaction between the complexes and calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) has been investigated by spectroscopic methods and viscosity measurements. The results indicate that the complexes can bind to CT-DNA in an intercalative mode. In addition, both complexes promote the photocleavage of plasmid pBR322 DNA under irradiation. The mechanistic studies reveal that singlet oxygen 1O2 plays a significant role in DNA photocleavage.  相似文献

The oscillating reaction involving organic gallic acid (GA), potassium bromate, and a metal ion complex has been reinvestigated. In contrast to other previous reports, this oscillating reaction is catalyzed by the [Fe(phen)n]2+ ion (phen = 1,10-o-phenanthroline, n=1, 2, 3) rather than by the cerium ion. The characteristics of the oscillations depend on the temperature and on the concentrations of the potassium bromate, gallic acid, [Fe(phen)n]2+, and sulfuric acid. A cyclic voltammetric study indicates that the redox potential and the reversibility of the [Fe(phen)n]2+/3+ couple play a major role in catalyzing this oscillating system.  相似文献

Reactions of fresh M(OH)2 (M = Zn2+, Cd2+) precipitate and (RS)-2-methylglutaric acid (H2MGL), 2,2′-bipyridine (bipy), or 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) in aqueous solution at 50°C afforded four new metal–organic complexes [Zn2(bipy)2(H2O)2(MGL)2] (1), [Zn2(phen)2(H2O)(MGL)2] (2), [Cd(bipy)(H2O)(MGL)] · 3H2O (3), and [Cd(phen)(H2O)(MGL)] · 2H2O (4), which were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectra, TG/DTA analysis as well as fluorescence spectra. In 1, the [Zn(bipy)(H2O)]2+ moieties are linked by R- and S-2-methylglutarate anions to build up the centrosymmetric dinuclear [Zn2(bipy)2(H2O)2(MGL)2] molecules. In 2, the 1-D ribbon-like chains [Zn2(phen)2(H2O)(MGL)2] n can be visualized as from centrosymmetric dinuclear [Zn2(phen)2(H2O)2(MGL)2] units sharing common aqua ligands. Both 3 and 4 exhibit 1-D chains resulting from [Cd(bipy)(H2O)]2+ and [Cd(phen)(H2O)]2+, respectively, bridged alternately by R- and S-2-methylglutarate anions in bis-chelating fashion. The intermolecular and interchain π···π stacking interactions form supramolecular assemblies in 1 and 1-D chains in 24 into 2-D layers. The hydrogen bonded lattice H2O molecules are sandwiched between 2-D layers in 3 and 4. Fluorescence spectra of 14 exhibit LLCT π → π* transitions.  相似文献
