Two structurally similar vanadium(V) complexes, [VOL1L] (1) and [VOL2L] (2), where L1 is the dianionic form of N′-(3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-4-methoxybenzohydrazide, L2 is the dianionic form of N′-(3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)nicotinohydrazide, and L is benzohydroxamate, were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectra, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with unit cell dimensions a?=?12.0262(7), b?=?16.5629(9), c?=?12.3449(8)?Å, β?=?105.160(2)°, V?=?2373.4(2)?Å3, Z?=?4, R1?=?0.0376, wR2?=?0.0844, GOOF?=?1.058; 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with unit cell dimensions a?=?10.6439(7), b?=?16.1968(9), c?=?13.1108(8)?Å, β?=?104.180(2)°, V?=?2191.4(2)?Å3, Z?=?4, R1?=?0.0521, wR2?=?0.1142, GOOF?=?1.018. X-ray analysis indicates that vanadium in the complexes are coordinated by phenolate oxygen, imino nitrogen, and enolate oxygen of the hydrazone, two oxygens of the benzohydroxamate, and one oxo, generating octahedral coordination. Oxidations of olefins with the complexes as catalysts were evaluated. The complexes showed effective catalytic efficiency in oxidation of several aliphatic and aromatic substrates under mild conditions, using tert-butyl hydrogen peroxide as oxidant.  相似文献

Polymeric dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes, [MoO2L]n (L?=?L1?=?N′-(2-hydroxybenzylidene)nicotinohydrazide for 1, L?=?L2?=?N′-(2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylidene)isonicotinohydrazide for 2), were prepared and characterized by physico-chemical, spectroscopic methods, and single-crystal X-ray determination. Complex 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P212121 with a?=?7.6568(4), b?=?11.6315(7), c?=?15.2211(9)?Å, V?=?1355.59(13)?Å3, Z?=?4, R 1?=?0.0181, wR 2?=?0.0464, and S?=?1.097. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /n with a?=?11.2516(6), b?=?11.8134(7), c?=?12.4371(6)?Å, β?=?116.2210(10)°, V?=?1483.02(14)?Å3, Z?=?4, R 1?=?0.0399, wR 2?=?0.0874, and S?=?1.096. X-ray analysis indicates that Mo in each complex is octahedral with two oxo groups and N2O2 donor set of the nicotinohydrazone or isonicotinohydrazone. Four transition metal complexes with Schiff base and 1,10-phenanthroline, [Cu(L)(phen)]2·C2H5OH (1), [Zn(L)(phen)]2·C2H5OH (2), [Ni(L)(phen)]2·C2H5OH (3), and [Co(L)(phen)]2·C2H5OH (4) (H2L?=?1-((2-hydroxynaphthalen-1-yl)methylene)thiosemicarbazide; phen?=?1,10-phenanthroline) were synthesized and characterized by physico-chemical methods. The crystal structure of 1 was determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with a?=?15.008(9), b?=?16.100(10), c?=?37.54(2)?Å, V?=?9070(10)?Å3, Z?=?8, GOOF?=?1.002, R 1?=?0.0626, and wR 2?=?0.0912. The fluorescence and urease inhibitory activities of the compounds were tested. The enzymatic activity study indicated that 3 possessed potent inhibition against jack bean urease, with IC50?=?1.2?±?0.1?μM, and about 35 times more than 42.1?±?0.4 acetohydroxamic acid as positive reference. This suggests that inhibitory efficiency of these complexes can be strongly influenced by different transition metal ions.  相似文献

A new ion-pair complex, [TTF][Pd(mnt)2] (1), where TTF+ =?tetrathiafulvalene and mnt2??=?maleonitriledithiolate, was synthesized and characterized structurally. Compound 1 crystallizes in triclinic space group P-1, with a?=?8.008(5)?Å, b?=?11.333(8)?Å, c?=?11.373(6)?Å, α?=?108.112(7)°, β?=?91.550(5)°, γ?=?95.232(5)°, and V?=?975.2(11)?Å3. The [TTF]+ cations (C) and [Pd(mnt)2]? anions (A) form mixed stacks in …AACCAACC… fashion, and the neighboring mixed stacks are held together via van der Waals forces in the crystal. Compound 1 shows weak Curie/Weiss-type magnetic behavior from 2 to 370?K; theoretical investigation disclosed the existence of strongly antiferromagnetic coupling in both [Pd(mnt)2]2 2? and [TTF]2 2+ dimer pairs via frontier orbitals overlap mechanism and weakly ferromagnetic coupling between the face-to-face overlapped [TTF]+ and [Pd(mnt)2]? via spin polarization mechanism within a mixed stack. The powdered pellet electrical conductivity measurement indicated that 1 shows semiconductor character with activation energy of 1.1(3)?eV.  相似文献

The reactions of metal(II) chlorides and bromides with 2-amino-5-bromopyrimidine (2-abpm) in neutral and acidic solution were investigated. The reaction with ZnCl2, ZnBr2, CoCl2, CoBr2 and MnCl2 in acidic nitromethane solution gave complexes of the formula (2-abpmH)2MX4 (1, M?=?Zn, X?=?Cl; 2, M?=?Zn, X?=?Br; 3, M?=?Co, X?=?Cl; 4, M?=?Co, X?=?Br; 5, M?=?Mn, X?=?Cl). Crystals of 1 and 3 suitable for single crystal X-ray diffraction were obtained. Crystal data: For (1): triclinic, P-1, a?=?6.2485(13), b?=?9.0520(14), c?=?15.334(4)?Å, α?=?94.81(2), β?=?95.224(17), γ?=?98.027(17)°, V?=?851.1(3)?Å3, Z?=?2, R?=?0.0596 for [|I|?≥?2σ(I)]. Two organic–inorganic compounds based on Keggin building blocks have been synthesized by hydrothermal methods, (C7N2H7)3(C7N2H6)?·?PMo12O40?·?2H2O (1) and (C7N2H7)3(C7N2H6)2?·?AsMo12O40?·?3H2O (2) (C7N2H6?=?benzimidazole). Single-crystal X-ray analysis revealed that 1 crystallized in the triclinic system, P-1 space group with a?=?9.8980(4)?Å, b?=?11.2893(4)?Å, c?=?25.8933(9)?Å, α?=?93.307(2)°, β?=?90.630(2)°, γ?=?108.330(2)°, V?=?2740.68(18)?Å3, Z?=?2, R 1(F)?=?0.0740, ωR 2(F 2)?=?0.1511, and S?=?1.037; 2 crystallized in the triclinic system, P-1 space group with a?=?12.3353(4)?Å, b?=?13.2649(4)?Å, c?=?20.2878(6)?Å, α?=?95.6630(10)°, β?=?100.1720(10)°, γ?=?99.3940(10)°, V?=?3195.72(17)?Å3, Z?=?2, R 1(F)?= 0.0329, ωR2 (F 2)?=?0.1236, and S?=?1.088. The two compounds show a layer framework constructed from Keggin-polyoxoanion clusters and benzimidazole via hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions, resulting in a 3-D supramolecular network. Both have high catalytic activity for oxidation of methanol. When the initial concentration of the methanol is 5.37?g?m?3 in air and the flow velocity is 4.51?mL?min?1, methanol is completely eliminated at 150°C for 1 (160°C for 2).  相似文献

A Cu(II) complex with 2-(2′-pyridyl)benzimidazole and l-arginine has been synthesized and investigated by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, IR, UV/vis, and X-ray diffraction. The complex crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with six molecules in a unit cell of dimensions a?=?10.6397(5)?Å, b?=?19.2178(8)?Å, c?=?20.0387(9)?Å, α?=?75.3670(10)°, β?=?79.4670(10)°, γ?=?87.4470(10)°, V?=?3897.6(3)?Å3, R 1?=?0.0408, and wR 2?=?0.0502. The complex contains six crystallographically independent complexes, Cu1, Cu2, Cu3, Cu4, Cu5, and Cu6, which have a distorted square-pyramidal geometry. The complex was screened for its in vitro antibacterial activities against two Gram-positive (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus) and two Gram-negative (Escherichia coli and Salmonella) micro-organisms. The complex exhibited good antibacterial activities against the micro-organisms compared with HPB and Cu(ClO4)2. Interaction of the complex with DNA was studied by electronic absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, circular dichroic spectroscopy, viscosity measurements, and agarose gel electrophoresis. Results suggest that the complex could bind to CT-DNA via partial intercalation, and cleave the plasmid DNA with involvement of hydroxyl radicals, and probably singlet oxygen-like copper-oxo species in the presence of ascorbate.  相似文献

Two copper(II) triphosphonate compounds, Cu[(APTPH4)(phen)(H2O)]?·?2.16H2O (1) and [Cu(APTPH4)(2,2′-bipy)(H2O)]?·?2.63H2O (2), have been prepared by a low temperature hydrothermal reaction from 1-aminopropane-1,1,3-triphosphonic acid (APTPH6), CuO and a second ligand, phen?=?1,10-phenanthroline, or 2,2′-bipy?=?2,2′-bipyridyl. These two compounds were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR and TG. Crystal data for 1: Monoclinic, space group P21 /c, a?=?14.4830(7)?Å, b?=?9.1721(5)?Å, c?=?16.7403(8)?Å, β?=?90.101(2)°. For compound 2: Triclinic, space group P 1, a?=?7.1215(7)?Å, b?=?10.460(2)?Å, c?=?14.671(2)?Å, α?=?82.983(2)°, β?=?83.882(2)°, γ?=?80.617(2)°. In both compounds, each Cu2+ ion is five-coordinate with two oxygen atoms from the triphosphonate, two nitrogen atoms from the second ligand and one water molecule, to form a distorted square-pyramidal geometry. Both complexes have 3D supramolecular structures constructed by hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

Two new binuclear complexes, [Mn2(μ-dmpo)2(SCN)4(H2O)2] (1) (where dmpo?=?3,5-dimethylpyridine N-oxide), [Mn2(μ-po)2(H2O)6I2]I2 (2) (where po?=?pyridine N-oxide), have been synthesized and their crystal structures determined by X-ray crystallography. Complexes 1 and 2 crystallize in monoclinic, space group P21/c, with unit cell dimensions a?=?8.8836(18)?Å, b?=?15.450(3)?Å, c?=?15.484(3)?Å, β?=?91.020(3)° for 1, and a?=?8.8352(13)?Å, b?=?17.927(3)?Å, c?=?8.3338(12)?Å, β?=?103.765(2)° for 2. In each binuclear complex two Mn(II) were bridged by two 3,5-dimethylpyridine N-oxides or by two pyridine N-oxides and the distances between the bridged Mn(II) ions are 3.599?Å for 1 and 3.552?Å for 2. Variable temperature (4–300?K) magnetic measurements were performed for 1 and the susceptibility data were fitted by using a binuclear Mn(II) magnetic coupling formula producing the 2J?=??2.17?cm?1.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reactions of Nd(ClO4)3·6H2O, Gd(ClO4)3·6H2O, Dy(ClO4)3·6H2O, Er(ClO4)3·6H2O with 1,3-dicyanobenzene, give rise to four one-dimensional rare earth-based coordination polymers: [M(3-CNC6H4COO)3(H2O)2] n (where M?=?Nd (1), Gd (2), Dy (3), Er (4), 3-CNC6H4COO?=?3-cyanobenzoato), respectively. Their solid-state structures have been characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction studies. The results show that 1,3-dicyanobenzene hydrolyzed to give 3-cyanobenzoato under hydrothermal condition, and the four complexes are isomorphous. Reaction of iron(III) thiocyanate with isonicotinamide (inia) in ethanol leads to formation of a dark red, air stabile crystalline iron(III) compound of composition [iniainia][Fe(inia)2(NCS-N)4]. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows the triclinic P1 space group with unit cell parameters: a?=?8.2440(4)?Å, b?=?9.5540(3)?Å, c?=?11.2590(5)?Å, α?=?93.945(4)°, β?=?95.554(4)°, γ?=?96.285(3)°, and Z?=?1. The iron compound contains [iniainia]+ cations and [Fe(inia)2(NCS-N)4] anions, which are held together by ionic interactions and hydrogen bonding. The Fe(III) is octahedrally coordinated by six nitrogens, four from NCS in the equatorial plane and two from inia occupying axial positions. The [iniaH]Cl has been formed by reaction of inia with hydrochloric acid. [iniaH]Cl crystallized in the monoclinic C2/c space group with unit cell parameters: a?=?25.156(5)?Å, b?=?5.095(1)?Å, c?=?12.747(3)?Å, and Z?=?8. Both compounds have also been characterized by elemental analyses and infrared spectroscopy. A new two-dimensional compound C12H14O16Zn3 (1), containing seven-coordinate zinc atoms was prepared by the hydrothermal technique. The compound obtained was characterized by TG-DTA, single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis and FT-IR analysis. Complex 3 crystallizes in trigonal space group P–3c1 with unit cell parameters a?=?14.744(3), b?=?14.744(3), c?=?16.098(4)?Å, γ?=?120°. The hydrothermal reaction of 1,3-dicyanobenzene, 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and Pb(CH3COO)2 yields a new 1D coordination polymer, {Pb[C6H4(COO)2][phen]} n . The 1,3-benzenecarboxylate anion found in the final product was generated in situ during the synthesis by hydrolysis of 1,3-dicyanobenzene. X-ray diffraction shows that complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P 1, a?=?7.5442(2)?Å, b?=?9.7962(3)?Å, c?=?13.1505(4)?Å, α?=?69.739(2)?Å, β?=?80.597(2)?Å, γ?=?71.377(2)?Å, v?=?862.48(4)?Å3, Z?=?2, D c?=?2.124 Mg?m?3. Two dysprosium coordination compounds, (mnH)2[DyIII(Httha)]·3H2O (1) (H6ttha?=?triethylenetetramine-N,N,N′,N″,N′′′,N′′′-hexaacetic acid and mn?=?methylamine) and (enH2)3[DyIII(ttha)]2·9H2O (2) (en?=?ethylenediamine), were synthesized through direct heating and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, thermal analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. X-ray diffraction analysis displays that 1 is a mononuclear nine-coordinate complex with a pseudo-monocapped square antiprismatic conformation (MCSAP) crystallizing in the monoclinic crystal system with P2(1)/c space group. The crystal data are as follows: a?=?16.1363(19)?Å, b?=?13.9336(11)?Å, c?=?13.6619(14)?Å, β?=?102.2490(10)°, and V?=?3001.8(5)?Å3. There are two kinds of methylamine cation in 1. They connect [DyIII(Httha)]2?and crystal waters through hydrogen bonds, leading to formation of a 2-D ladder-like layer structure. The polymeric 2 also is a nine-coordinate structure with a pseudo-MCSAP crystallizing in the monoclinic crystal system with P2/c space group. The cell dimensions are: a?=?17.7801(16)?Å, b?=?9.7035(10)?Å, c?=?22.096(2)?Å, β?=?118.874(2)°, and V?=?3338.3(6)?Å3. In 2 there are also two types of ethylenediamine cations. One connects three adjacent [DyIII(ttha)]3? complex anions through hydrogen bonds and the other is symmetrical forming hydrogen bonds with two neighboring [DyIII(ttha)]3? complex anions. These hydrogen bonds result in formation of a 2-D ladder-like layer structure as well.  相似文献
