Crystal and molecular structures of the planar neutral ligand, C26H16N8, and the four isomorphous five-coordinated metal complexes, [M(C26H16N8)(H2O)], M = Mn(II), Co(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), have been determined from three-dimensional X-ray diffraction data. The free ligand hpH2, C26H16N8, belongs to the P 21/c space group with Z=2, a=4.142(3), b=23.736(6), c=10.338(3) Ä, β=94.66(6)°. The metal complexes monohydrate Mhp-H2O all belong to the orthorhombic Pcab space group with Z=8. The dimensions are roughly 8.8×19.3×23.7 Å3. In each structure, the macrocyclic ligand has an almost planar conformation which differs from the saddle shaped ligand hydrate (hpH2·H2O) and the nickel complex [Nihp]5. The distances from the center of the macrocyclic ring to the nitrogen atom of the free ligand are 1.907(6) and 2.245(6)Å. The coordination geometry in these four complexes is square pyramidal with a water molecule as an axial ligand. The bond distances of M(II)-O(H2O), M(II)-N1 (imine), M(II)-N3 (pyridine) are: 2.19(1), 2.00(2), 2.27(2)Å respectively for the manganese complex; 2.08(1), 1.97(1), 2.23(1)Å for the cobalt complex; 2.33(1), 1.92(3), 2.18(1)Å for the copper complex; 2.110(5), 1.964(6), 2.252(6)Å for the zinc complex. The variation of metal-ligand distances can be correlated to the metal d orbital occupancy. A comparison with similar ligands will be presented.  相似文献

A new diferrocenyl-substituted macrocyclic ligand (H2L) and its complexes ML(M = CuII, NiII, ZnII, CdII) were prepared and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, absorption spectra and FAB mass spectra. The ferrocenyl-substituted macrocyclic ligand was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The superconjugative effect of the cyclopentadienyl (CP) rings increase the activity of the hydrogen atoms in the tetra-azacyclotetradecane macrocyclic ligand. The imine nitrogen atoms lose two protons and coordinate to the metal. The electrochemical properties of these compounds are discussed.  相似文献

A series of new 24-membered macrocyclic CoII, NiII, CuII and ZnII complexes of the ligands L1H2 and L2H2 were prepared by the non-template and template methods respectively. The ligand L1H2 was formed by the condensation of pyrazole-3,5-dicarbohydrazide and glyoxal and all attempts to isolate the ligand L2H2 were unsuccessful. These, ligand and transition metal complexes were characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, IR, 1HNMR, UV–Visible, magnetic susceptibility measurements, ESR, conductivity measurements, FAB-mass and thermal analysis. The redox behavior of metal ions in the polyazamacrocyclic ligand field is also studied. Electroreduction of carbon dioxide to carbon monoxide is mainly focused on using polydentate azamacrocyclic ligands with amine and imine functionalities, based on the electrochemical behavior of nickel (II) ion in the macrocyclic territory.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular Structure of bis[dinitrato-(2,5,8,15,18,21-hexaoxatricyclo[20.4.0.09,14]hexa-consane)europium(III)]pentakis(nitrato) europiate(III) ([Eu(NO3)2·LA]2[Eu(NO3)5]) has been determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c (ITC No. 14): a = 13.614(3)Å, b = 21.697(4)Å, c = 22.591(5)Å, β = 107.15(2)°, Z = 4. The structure was refined to a final R value of 0.055 (Rw = 0.055). The asymmetric unit contains three independent ions with approximate C2 symmetry: [Eu(NO3)5]2? and two distinct [Eu(NO3)2.La]+ cations with the macrocyclic ligand in the cis-syn-cis-conformation (A-isomer). The Eu(III) ions are 10-coordinated with the following mean bond lengths: Eu? O(nitrate) = 2.46(3)Å in the anion and the two cations, Eu? O(ether) = 2.55(9)Å in both cations. For the uncomplexed A-and B-isomers, as well as for their complexes with various metal ions, a conformational analysis has been made on the six O-atoms of the ligand which can be considererd as a fluxional ring. In the presently reported europium complex cations, the oxygen-ring conformation is almost a perfect boat with the metal ions lying in the least-sqiares plane of the O-atoms (deviation: 0.02–0.05Å). The same conformation prevails in all the complexes containing the A-isomer(exception: dimethylthallium complex) and in most of the complexes with the B-isomer. For this isomer, a chair conformation is found in the uncomplexed ligand, in the sodium complex, and in the complex with dimethylthallium. The occurrence of these conformations is discussed with respect to the crystallographic symmetry of the complexes and the relative mean M? O and O? O distances.  相似文献

Abstract

[Ni(L?1)(HL)(H2O)2].ClO4 with a Schiff base ligand L (HL = 3-p-tolylimino-2-butanone oxime) was prepared and structurally characterized by IR, cyclic voltammetry and X-ray diffraction methods. The nickel atom has distorted octahedral coordination consisting of four nitrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms. The equatorial plane is formed by two oxime nitrogen atoms and two imine nitrogen atoms of two Schiff base ligand (L?1 and HL) with Ni‐ N bond distances between 2.01(1) and 2.11(1)Å. Water oxygen atoms occupy axial positions with Ni‐ O bond distances of 2.06(1) and 2.15(1) Å. The oxime groups in the Schiff base ligands are coordinated to Ni atom through their nitrogen atoms. One asymmetric intramolecular hydrogen bridge between the two oxime groups is found in the title complex.  相似文献

A centrosymmetric mononuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu(L1)2] (I), and a phenolate oxygen-bridged dinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu2(L2)4] (II) (HL1 = 4-chloro-2-[(2-morpholin-4-ylethylimino)methyl]phenol, HL2 = 4-chloro-2-(cyclohexylimino-methyl)phenol), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal of I is monoclinic: space group {ITP}21/n, a = 13.396(3), b = 5.339(1), c = 19.740(4) Å, β = 108.64(3), V = 1337.8(5) Å3, {ITZ} = 2. The crystal of II is monoclinic: space group P21, a = 9.157(2), b = 22.715(4), c = 12.169(2) Å, = 95.28(3), {ITV} = 2520.4(8) Å3, {ITZ}= 2. The Cu atom in I, lying on the inversion center, is four-coordinate in a square planar geometry with two phenolate oxygen and two imine nitrogen atoms. Each Cu atom in II is five-coordinate in a square pyramidal geometry with two phenolate oxygen and two imine nitrogen atoms from two L2 ligands defining the basal plane and with one phenolate oxygen atom of another L2 ligand occupying the apical position.  相似文献

The monomeric octa-aza bis-α-diimine macrocyclic complex [CoII(C10H20N8)(H2O)](ClO4)2 I, undergoes various reactions on the macrocyclic ligand. Reaction of complex I with triethylamine in double molar proportions, followed by slow aerial oxidation, produces a molecular dimeric complex [CoII(C10H14N8)]2, III, and a novel Co(I) complex [CoI(C10H19N8)], IV. Complex III is a staggered cofacial dimer with a cobalt-cobalt bond length 2.86(1) Å. The macrocyclic ligand of the complex contains an a-diimine function in each five-membered chelate ring, and a three-atom N-C-N? delocalized system in each six-membered chelate ring. Complex IV has the 5-5-6-6 chelate arrangement because one α-diimine moiety is rearranged to a syn-anti configuration. In the structure, the two fused six-membered chelate rings are fully conjugated and the two fused five-membered rings are saturated. However, when complex I reacts with excess triethylamine under the similar conditions, a dimeric complex of another type, [CoII(C10Hl6N8)]2, II, was generated, in which one N-N bond of the macrocyclic ligand is broken. Complex IV can be isolated also from the reaction of complex I with excess hydrazine, followed by slow aerial oxidation. When hydrazine in double molar proportions was used, complex [CoI(C10H17N8)(NHNH)] V, which contains a coordinated diazene ligand, was obtained. Only one six-membered chelate ring of complex V is deprotonated and oxidized to form a three-atom N-C-N? delocalized system. The structures of octa-aza complexes I-V are determined by X-ray crystallography: I, orthorhombic, C mca, a = 11.646(4), b = 17.049(3), c = 10.706(3) Å, Z = 4, R = 0.045, Rw = 0.047, based on 1024 reflections with I > 2σ(I); II, monoclinic, P 21/c, a = 9.814(3), b = 22.583(6). c = 14.632(9) Å, β = 98.90(5)°, Z = 4, R = 0.085, Rw = 0.101, based on 2033 reflections with I > 2σ(I); III, tetragonal, P 4/nmm, a = 15.614(3), c = 6.498(2) Å, Z = 4, R = 0.081, Rw = 0.115, based on 340 reflections with I > 2σ(I); IV, orthorhombic, P bca, a = 8.484(1), b = 16.662(3), c = 18.760(2) Å, Z = 8, R = 0.029, Rw = 0.024, based on 1441 reflections with I > 2σ(I); V, monoclinic, P 21/m, a = 7.892(3), b = 11.713(6), c = 9.326(4) Å, β = 108.03(3), Z = 2, R = 0.047, Rw = 0.056, based on 948 reflections with I > 2σ(I).  相似文献

1H- and 13C-NMR. data are reported for the complexes [Pt (1) L] and [Pt (2) L]; 1 = OC6H4CH ? NCH2CH2O, 2 = OC6H4CH ? NC6H4O; L = PR3, AsR3, C ? N (cyclohexyl), DMSO, pyridine, secondary amine. The molecular structures of [Pt (2) (NHEt2)] (I) and [Pt (2) (PPh3)] (II) have been determined by X-ray analysis. Relevant bond distances for I: Pt-N (amine) = 2.076 Å, Pt-N (imine) = 2.017 Å, Pt-O = 1.992 Å and 2.002 Å; for II: Pt-P = 2.248 Å, Pt-N = 2.064 Å, Pt-O = 1.964 and 2.005 Å. Both the solid and solution state data are interpreted in terms of differences in the trans influence of the ligand L. The question of metal-ligand d-p π back bonding to the imine is discussed.  相似文献

The N‐functionalized macrocyclic ligand 2,13‐bis(1‐naphthalenylmethyl)‐5,16‐dimethyl‐2,6,13,17‐tetraazatricyclo(14,4,01.18,07.12)docosane (L3) and its copper(II) complex were prepared. The crystal structure of [Cu(L3)](ClO4)2·2CH3CN was determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction at 150 K. The copper atom, which lies on an inversion centre, has a square planar arrangement and the complex adopts a stable trans‐III configuration. The longer distance [2.081(2) Å] for Cu–N(tertiary) compared to 2.030(3) Å for Cu–N(secondary) may be due to the steric effect of the attached naphthalenylmethyl group on the tertiary nitrogen atom. Two perchlorate ions are weakly attached to copper in axial sites and are further connected to the ligand of the cation through NH ··· O hydrogen bonds [N ··· O 3.098 Å]. IR and UV/Vis spectroscopic properties are also described.  相似文献

Two new silver(I) trans‐cinnamates, namely [Ag(2‐cca)(H2O)]2 ( 1 ) and [Ag(4‐cca)]n ( 2 ) (2‐ccaH = 2‐chlorocinnamic acid and 4‐ccaH = 4‐chlorocinnamic acid), were synthesized and structurally characterized. Single crystal X‐ray studies reveal that each silver(I) atom in 1 is two‐coordinate by a 2‐chlorocinnamate ligand and one water molecule to afford a discrete centrosymmetric dimer with the ligand‐unsupported Ag···Ag interactions (3.218(4) Å), while a pair of symmetry‐related silver(I) atoms in 2 are clamped by two μ2‐η11 4‐chlorocinnamate ligands to yield a binuclear silver(I) moiety incorporating a ligand‐supported Ag···Ag interaction (2.819(5) Å). Both complexes 1 and 2 show potent urease inhibitory activities with the respective IC50 values of 0.66 and 1.10 μM.  相似文献

Summary A convenient preparation of the 14-membered macrocyclic diamide 5,7-dioxo-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (LH2) is described. The pK NH + values of the ligand are pK1 = 5.76 and pK2 = 9.63 at 25° and I = 0.1 mol dm–3 (KNO3). With metal ions able to ionise amide hydrogens, the ligand acts as a planar quadridentate, L2–. Thus copper(II) and nickel(II) give the neutral complexes ML, and conductivity measurements confirm that they are nonelectrolytes in aqueous solution. Both the nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes are acid labile unlike the analogues of 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (cyclam). The cobalt(III) complex [CoL(NH3)2]Cl has been characterised and1H n.m.r. measurements established the N-meso stereochemistry at the chiral nitrogen centres.  相似文献

The synthesis of the complex LSb(μ‐I)2(μ‐S)SbL ( 1 ) was accomplished by reacting antimony powder with diiodine activated by tetraphenyldithioimidodiphosphine (SPPh2NHPPh2S) (H L ). X‐ray diffraction (tetragonal, M = 1426.30, space group I 41/a (No. 88), Z = 8, a = 18.020(2) Å, c = 33.037(4) Å) shows that ( 1 ) is a dinuclear SbIII complex, in which the two metal ions are bridged by one sulphide and two iodide anions. An anionic bidentate L ligand completes the coordination sphere of each metal with its two sulphur atoms, leading to a slightly distorted pyramidal coordination geometry, since each metal ion shows the presence of a sterically active lone‐pair in trans position to the bridging sulphide. 31P CP‐MAS NMR and IR spectroscopies are in accordance with the structural features of the complex.  相似文献

The first diphosphines based on a double calixarene, namely 1,4 (or 1,3)‐bis‐(5‐diphenylphosphino‐25,26,27,28‐tetrapropoxycalix[4]aren‐17‐yl)benzene ( L2 , L3 ) were each prepared in four steps starting from 5,17‐dibromo‐25,26,27,28‐tetrapropoxycalix[4]arene. Upon reaction of L2 with [Au(tht)(thf)]BF4, (tht=C4H8S) a rigid metallo‐capsule was quantitatively formed, which adopts an oblique form owing to the distinct nature of the spacers linking the two calixarene half‐spheres. In the solid state, the 1,4‐substituted phenylene linker is turned towards the gold ion, suggesting the existence of weak bonding interactions between two aromatic CH protons of this ring and the metal centre (Au???H=2.67 Å). In contrast to this gold complex, the related silver complex shows dynamic behaviour in solution, the exchange between two enantiomeric oblique forms being facilitated by the greater stereochemical flexibility of AgI vs. AuI. A heteronuclear 109Ag{1H} HMQC experiment established strong correlations between the CH protons of the phenylene linker and the 109Ag ion. Dynamic behaviour similar to that observed for the silver complex was further observed in trans‐[PtCl2? L2 ], a chelate complex that could be obtained quantitatively from L2 and [PtCl2(PhCN)2]. The intended formation of a chelate complex leading to a capsule with an endo‐oriented metal centre was achieved by reacting L3 with [Pd(allyl)(thf)2]BF4. The complex thus formed constitutes the first organometallic transition metal complex embedded in a cavity with large portals. Binding of [RuCl2(p‐cymene)] to L2 and L3 resulted in self‐compacting bimetallic complexes in which each calixarene basket entraps a Ru(p‐cymene) unit, thereby forming molecules occupying a minimal volume.  相似文献

The complexes of 2,11‐dithia‐4,5,6,7,8,9‐hexahydro[3.3]paracyclophane (dthhpcp) with Cu(I), i.e. [Cu2I2(dthhpcp)2]·2H2O 1 , or with Ag(I), i.e. [Ag(dthhpcp)(NO3)]thf 2 and [Ag(dthpcp)(CF3COO)] 3 , were prepared for structural study by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. For these three complexes, dthhpcp serves as a bridging group in the polymeric structure through bridging sulfur atoms via metal, while the bonding of anion with the second metal atom forms the multi‐diminished structures. Complex 1 is a novel two‐dimensional coordination polymer composed of Cu6 motifs, in which Cu2I2 formed a square planar unit to link the dthhpcp molecule. The two oxygen atoms of the nitrate anion as a bridge for two Ag atoms in complex 2 provides a three‐dimensional channel framework of silver(I) with a tetrahydrofuran molecule as a guest inside the open cavities. In contrast, the analogous reaction with silver triflouroacetate gave a complex 3 , which is composed of infinite linear chains of‐Ag‐dthhpcp‐Ag‐dthhpcp‐ along the a axis. Unit cell data: complex 1 , orthorhombic system, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 19.2982(11) Å b = 16.5661(10) Å, c = 25.3006(15) Å, β = 90°, Z = 8; complex 2 , orthorhombic system, space group Pna2(1), a = 8.8595(6) Å, b = 12.6901(9) Å, c = 19.8449(14) Å, β = 90°, Z = 4; complex 3 , monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, a = 8.845(3) Å, b = 20.841(6) Å, c = 11.061(3) Å, β = 107.832(6)°, Z = 4.  相似文献

Benzoylformyl complexes CpMo(COCOPh)(CO)3 (1) and CpFe(COCOPh)(CO)2 (2) were prepared by the reactions of [CpMo(CO)3]? and [CpFe(CO)2]? ions with PhCOCOCl, respectively. The single-crystal structure of complex 1 has been determined by X-ray diffraction with crystal data: P21/c, a = 6.674 (3) Å, b = 13.301 (4) Å, c= 16.903(6) Å, β = 90.82 (5)°,V = 1500(1) Å3, Z = 4. Least-squares refinement on 894 reflections with I ≥ 2.0 σ(I) led to R = 0.041, RW = 0.042. Complex 1 contains a near perpendicular s-trans oxalyl moiety in the benzoylformyl ligand with the torsional angle O4-C4-C5-O5 being 104 (1)°. The iron complex suffers spontaneous decarbonylation at 25 °C to yield CpFe(COPh)(CO)2.  相似文献

Silver(I) complexes of heterobidentate ligands that incorporate one or two N-heterocyclic carbene moieties coupled with an alcohol or amine group have been made by direct deprotonation of ligands of the form [HOCR1R2CH2(1-HC{NCHCHNR})][X], H2L1X (X = Br, I), [H2NR1CHR2CHR2(1-HC{NCHCHNR})][Br]2 H3L2X2 (X = Cl, Br), and [H2N{CH2CH2(1-HC[NCHCHNMes])}2][X]3 H4L3X3 (X = Cl, Br). Silver(I) oxide is sufficiently basic to deprotonate both the imidazolium and the alcohol functional groups of all but one of the L1 ligand precursors, to afford rare examples of silver alkoxide complexes [Ag(L1)], stabilised by the soft donor carbene. Another complex of L1 is characterised as the carbene alcohol adduct [Ag(HL1)2I]. The analogous reactions of silver(I) oxide with the amino imidazolium precursors afford silver amino-carbenes [Ag(HL2)Br] with the potentially bidentate L2 ligand, and [Ag(HL3)X] (X = Cl, Br) with the potentially tridentate L3 ligand. A single crystal X-ray diffraction study of the latter complex confirms that the neutral amine of the potentially tridentate L3 ligand is unco-ordinated; instead the structure contains discrete chains of T-shaped silver bis(carbene) halide moieties that bridge to form a zig-zag 2-connected polymer. Protonolysis of two of the silver alkoxide and amino adducts, [Ag(L1a)] and [Ag(HL2a)Br], affords imidazolium complexes salts [H2L1a][AgCl2] and [Ag(H2L2a)Br][AgBr2] that retain the Ag(I) centre as complex counterions. The single crystal X-ray structures of these salts have been determined and show the silver(I) cations are now incorporated into ladders or chains as silver(I) halo-anions, and a silver amine dative bond is present in the latter complex.  相似文献

A new dioxime ligand, (2E,3E)-3-[(6-{[(1E,2E)-2-(hydroxyimino)-1-methylpropylidene]amino}-pyridin-2-yl)imino]butan-2-one oxime, (H2Pymdo) (3) has been synthesized in H2O by reacting 2,3-butenedione monoxime (2) with 2,6-diaminopyridine. Mono-, di- and tri-nuclear copper(II) complexes of the dioxime ligand (H2Pymdo) and/or 1,10-phenanthroline have been prepared. The dioxime ligand (H2Pymdo) and its copper(II) complexes were characterized by 1H-n.m.r., 13C-n.m.r. and elemental analyses, magnetic moments, i.r. and mass spectral studies. The mononuclear copper(II) complex of H2Pymdo was found to have a 1:1 metal:ligand ratio. Elemental analyses, stoichiometric and spectroscopic data of the metal complexes indicated that the metal ions are coordinated to the oxime and imine nitrogen atoms (C=N). In the dinuclear complexes, in which the first Cu(II) ion was complexed with nitrogen atoms of the oxime and imine groups, the second Cu(II) ion is ligated with dianionic oxygen atoms of the oxime groups and are linked to the 1,10-phenanthroline nitrogen atoms. The trinuclear copper(II) complex (6) was formed by coordination of the third Cu(II) ion with dianionic oxygen atoms of each of two molecules of the mononuclear copper(II) complexes. The data support the proposed structure of H2Pymdo and its Cu(II) complexes.  相似文献

A new complex [Cu(L1)(NCS)]SCN, where L1 = 3,14-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo( 16.4.0.07,12)docosane is prepared and characterized by single crystal X-ray crystallographic analysis. The complex crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1? with two mononuclear formula units in a cell of dimensions a = 7.9681(2) Å, b = 8.8644(2) Å, c = 18.8165(5) Å, α = 76.758(70)°, β = 78.490(2)° and γ = 77.679(2)°. The Cu(II) ion is five-coordinate in an axially elongated square pyramidal environment, with the four amine N atoms at the equatorial positions and the N atom of one thiocyanate at an apical site. The macrocyclic cyclam moiety adopts a stable trans-III configuration. The Cu–N basal plane bond length has a mean value of 2.037(2) Å. The coordinated Cu–NCS bond length is 2.322(3) Å. The N atom of the thiocyanate anion is connected to the macrocyclic ligand of the cation via an NH…N(CS) hydrogen bond. The UV-visible absorption and IR spectral properties are also discussed.  相似文献

A new pendant‐armed macrocyclic ligand, L1, bearing four pyridyl pendant groups has been synthesized by N‐alkylation of the tetraazamacrocyclic precursor L with 2‐picolyl chloride hydrochloride. Metal complexes of L1 have been synthesized and characterized by microanalysis, MS‐FAB, conductivity measurements, IR, UV‐Vis, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and magnetic studies. Crystal structures of the ligand L1 as well as of the complexes [Ni2L1](ClO4)4·5CH3CN and [Cu2L1](ClO4)4·4.5CH3CN have been determined by single crystal X‐ray crystallography. The X ray studies show the presence of two metal atoms within the macrocyclic ligand in both metal complexes showing five coordination arrangement for the metal ions.  相似文献

Abstract

Two new cadmium(II) complexes with phenylthiourea (PTU), namely Cd(PTU)4Cl2 (1) and [Cd2(NCS)22-SCN)2(PTU)22-PTU)2] n (2), have been prepared and characterized structurally by X-ray diffaction. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, with a = 27.057(13), b = 8.108(3), c = 16.751(8) Å, β = 114.46°, V = 3345(3) Å3, Z = 4. Complex 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1, with a = 9.336(3), b = 14.686(5), c = 16.911(5) Å, α = 71.36(2), β = 84.31(2), γ = 72.470(10)°, V = 2095.0(12) Å3 Z = 4. The structural analysis shows that each metal atom in both the mononuclear complex 1 and polynuclear complex 2 is octahedrally coordinated by four sulfur atoms and two chloro ligands or two nitrogen atoms from the thiocyanate groups, respectively. The PTU ligand can serve as either a monodentate ligand or a μ2-bridging ligand upon coordination to a metal atom.  相似文献
