N-(R-carbamothioyl)cyclohexanecarboxamides (R: diethyl, di-n-propyl, di-n-butyl, diphenyl and morpholine-4) and their Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR and NMR methods. N-(diethylcarbamothioyl)cyclohexanecarboxamide, HL1, C12H22N2OS, crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P212121, with Z = 4, and unit cell parameters, a = 6.6925(13) Å, b = 9.0457(18) Å, c = 22.728(5) Å. The conformation of the HL1 molecule with respect to the thiocarbonyl and carbonyl moieties is twisted, as reflected by the torsion angles O1–C6–N2–C5, C6–N2–C5–N1 and S1–C5–N2–C6 of 1.68°, ?67.47° and 115.50°, respectively. The structure of HL1 also shows a delocalization of the π electrons of the thiocarbonyl group over the C–N bonds. The ring puckering analysis shows that the cyclohexane ring has a chair conformation. The bis(N-(morpholine-4-carbonothioyl)cyclohexane carboxamido)nickel(II) complex, Ni(L5)2, C24H38N4NiO4S2, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with Z = 4, and unit cell parameters, a = 16.919(3) Å, b = 8.3659(17) Å, c = 19.654(4) Å, β = 107.43(3)°. Ni(L5)2 is a cis-complex with a slightly distorted square-planar coordination of the central nickel by two oxygen and two sulfur atoms.  相似文献

The Schiff base 2-bromo-6-[(2-isopropylaminoethylimino)methyl]phenol (HL), derived from 3-bromosalicylaldehyde with N-isopropylethane-1,2-diamine, and its zinc(II) and nickel(II) complexes [Zn(HL)2(NCS)2] (I) and [Ni(HL)2(N3)2)] · 0.25H2O (II) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, and single crystal X-ray crystallographic determination. The crystal of I is orthorhombic: space group Pbca, a = 13.6928(9), b = 9.7203(6), c = 22.926(1) Å, V = 3051.4(3) Å3, Z = 4. The crystal of II is triclinic: space group $P\bar 1$ , a} = 8.0212(7), b = 12.744(1), c = 15.590(2) Å, α = 104.802(3)°, β = 90.561(3)°, γ = 103.130(3)°, V = 1496.6(2) Å3, Z = 1. The zwitterionic Schiff base ligands coordinate to the metal atoms through phenolate O, imine N, and amine N atoms. Each metal atom in the complexes is in octahedral coordination. The effect of these complexes on the antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans were studied.  相似文献

A new azido-coordinated nickel(II) complex [NiL1(N3)] (1) and a new thiocyanato-coordinated nickel(II) complex [NiL2(NCS)] (2), where L1 and L2 are the monoanionic forms of Schiff bases 2-[(2-isopropylaminoethylimino)methyl]-6-methylphenol and 2-[(2-dimethlaminoethylimino)methyl]-6-methylphenol respectively, are prepared and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, and single crystal X-ray crystallography. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with unit cell dimensions a = 8.812(2) Å, b = 9.433(3) Å, c = 9.488(2) Å, α = 81.933(2)°, β = 69.925(2)°, γ = 84.591(2)°, V = 732.5(3) Å3, Z = 2, R 1 = 0.0291, and wR 2 = 0.0734. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with unit cell dimensions a = 7.4497(4) Å, b = 6.1933(3) Å, c = 31.5126(18) Å, β = 92.484(2)°, V = 1452.57(13) Å3, Z = 4, R 1 = 0.0307, and wR 2 = 0.0668. The Ni atom in each of the complexes is coordinated by three donor atoms of the Schiff base ligand and by one N atom of the azide or thiocyanate ligand, forming a square planar geometry. The azide and thiocyanate anions readily coordinate to the complexes as secondary ligands.  相似文献

Single crystal X-ray diffraction study has been performed for heterometallic complexes based on lead(II) hexafluoroacetylacetonate and copper(II) β-diketonates. Crystal data for Cu(aa)2·Pb(hfa)2: a = 8.741(2) Å, b = 12.124(2) Å, c = 13.741(3) Å, α = 89.70(3)°, β = 89.50(3)°, γ = 75.06(3)°, space group P-1, Z = 2, d calc = 2.084 g/cm3; for Cu(hfa)2 Pb(hfa)2: a = 9.334(2) Å, b = 14.584(3) Å, c = 23.102(5) Å, β = 96.82(3)°, space group P21/c, Z = 4, d calc = 2.338 g/cm3. It is demonstrated that the principal structural motif for these compounds is a chain coordination polymer, which consists of alternating molecules of the complexes. The results of a thermogravimetric study for the compounds are reported.  相似文献

The crystal of I is orthorhombic: space group Pbca, a = 10.6161(16) Å, b = 16.340(3) Å, c = 18.840(3) Å, V = 3268.0(9) Å3, Z = 8. The crystal of II is triclinic: space group P $ \bar 1 $ , a = 7.5645(2), b = 8.9811(2), c = 11.9412(3) Å, α = 74.4610(10)°, β = 80.5040(10)°, γ = 71.0940(10)°, V = 736.71(3) Å3, Z = 2. Blue, paramagnetic bis(phthalocyaninato(2–)rhenium(II)) (μeff = 0,88 μB, per Re, at 300 K) is prepared by thermal decomposition of trans-bis(triphenylphosphine)phthalocyaninato(2–)rhenium(II), in boiling triphenylphosphine. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1 with cell parameters as follows: a = 7.799(3) Å, b = 12.563(7) Å, c = 12.69(1) Å, α = 89.97(5)°, β = 94.14(5)°, γ = 106.39(4)°; Z = 1. Two cofacial phthalocyaninates are bonded together by a Re–Re bond with a Re–Re distance of 2.285(2) Å. The Re atoms are located distinctly outside the centre of the (Niso)4 planes by 0.426(3) Å. The Re–Niso distance varies from 1.99(1) to 2.04(1) Å (average 2.02 Å). The pc2– ligands are in an eclipsed conformation and concavely distorted. In the UV-VIS-NIR spectrum the B region is split into two bands of comparable intensity due to strong excitonic coupling. The Re–Re stretching vibration at 240 cm–1 is selectively enhanced in the resonance Raman spectrum (λexc = 488 nm).  相似文献

The structure, spectroscopic, and electrochemical properties of [Co{(Me-sal)2dien}(N3)] and [Co{(Me-sal)2dpt}(N3)], where (Me-sal)2dien = 2,2′-[1,1′-(3-azapentane-1,5-diyldinitrilo)diethylidyne] diphenolate and (Me-sal)2dpt = 2,2′-[1,1′-(4-azapentane-1,7-diyldinitrilo)diethylidyne] diphenolate, have been investigated. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV–Vis, and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of these complexes have been determined by X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1, with a = 7.8443(4) Å, b = 11.0660(5) Å, c = 11.6216(6) Å, α = 73.360(1)°, β = 76.965(1)°, γ = 84.436(1)° and Z = 2. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n, with a = 12.1985(13) Å, b = 10.9332(12) Å, c = 15.2808(16) Å, β = 76.965(1)° and Z = 4. The coordination geometry around cobalt(III) in both complexes is a distorted octahedron. The electrochemical reduction of these complexes at a glassy carbon electrode in acetonitrile indicates that the first reduction corresponding to CoIII–CoII is electrochemically irreversible, accompanied by dissociation of the axial Co–N(N3) bond. The second reduction step of Co(II/I) leads to decomposition of the complex. These observations are rationalized based on the structure-function relations.  相似文献

Crystal and molecular structures of the planar neutral ligand, C26H16N8, and the four isomorphous five-coordinated metal complexes, [M(C26H16N8)(H2O)], M = Mn(II), Co(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), have been determined from three-dimensional X-ray diffraction data. The free ligand hpH2, C26H16N8, belongs to the P 21/c space group with Z=2, a=4.142(3), b=23.736(6), c=10.338(3) Ä, β=94.66(6)°. The metal complexes monohydrate Mhp-H2O all belong to the orthorhombic Pcab space group with Z=8. The dimensions are roughly 8.8×19.3×23.7 Å3. In each structure, the macrocyclic ligand has an almost planar conformation which differs from the saddle shaped ligand hydrate (hpH2·H2O) and the nickel complex [Nihp]5. The distances from the center of the macrocyclic ring to the nitrogen atom of the free ligand are 1.907(6) and 2.245(6)Å. The coordination geometry in these four complexes is square pyramidal with a water molecule as an axial ligand. The bond distances of M(II)-O(H2O), M(II)-N1 (imine), M(II)-N3 (pyridine) are: 2.19(1), 2.00(2), 2.27(2)Å respectively for the manganese complex; 2.08(1), 1.97(1), 2.23(1)Å for the cobalt complex; 2.33(1), 1.92(3), 2.18(1)Å for the copper complex; 2.110(5), 1.964(6), 2.252(6)Å for the zinc complex. The variation of metal-ligand distances can be correlated to the metal d orbital occupancy. A comparison with similar ligands will be presented.  相似文献

Two bis-chelates M(tmih)2 (M = Cu(II), Ni(II), tmih = (CH3)3C(NCH3)CHCOC(CH3)3)? are synthesized and their crystal structures are determined using XRD (Bruker APEX-II diffractometer with a CCD detector, λMoK α, λCuK α, graphite monochromator, T = 240(2) K and 296(2) K): Cu(tmih)2 (I) (space group P21/c, a = 12.9670(8) Å, b = 18.4921(9) Å, c = 11.0422(6) Å, β = 93.408(4)°, V = 2643.1(3) Å3, Z = 4) and Ni(tmih)2 (II) (space group P21/c, a = 12.810(2) Å, b = 18.529(2) Å, c = 11.243(2) Å, β = 91.959(7)°, V = 2667.1(6) Å3, Z = 4). The complexes are isostructural; the coordination polyhedron of metal atoms is a flattened tetrahedron formed from two O atoms (Cu-O of 1.901(2) Å, 1.892(2) Å, Ni-O of 1.845(2) Å, 1.833(2) Å) and two N atoms (Cu-N of 1.976(3) Å, 1.972(3) Å, Ni-N of 1.911(2) Å, 1.920(2) Å) of the ligand; the chelate OMN angles (M = Cu(II), Ni(II)) are in the 87.4–93.1° range; the OMO and NMN angles are 162.2° and 167.2° in I, 171.1° and 173.2° in II. The complexes have the molecular structures formed from isolated molecules bonded by van der Waals interactions. Using a quantum chemical hybrid M06 method, the structures of copper(II) chelates with the H, CH3, CH2CH3, CH(CH3)2, and C(CH3)3 substituents at the nitrogen atom are calculated. Found that with a bulky substituent at the nitrogen atom, the formation of chelates is hindered due to the intraligand repulsion between the atoms of this substituent and the tert-butyl group.  相似文献

Abstract

Two new cadmium(II) complexes with phenylthiourea (PTU), namely Cd(PTU)4Cl2 (1) and [Cd2(NCS)22-SCN)2(PTU)22-PTU)2] n (2), have been prepared and characterized structurally by X-ray diffaction. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, with a = 27.057(13), b = 8.108(3), c = 16.751(8) Å, β = 114.46°, V = 3345(3) Å3, Z = 4. Complex 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1, with a = 9.336(3), b = 14.686(5), c = 16.911(5) Å, α = 71.36(2), β = 84.31(2), γ = 72.470(10)°, V = 2095.0(12) Å3 Z = 4. The structural analysis shows that each metal atom in both the mononuclear complex 1 and polynuclear complex 2 is octahedrally coordinated by four sulfur atoms and two chloro ligands or two nitrogen atoms from the thiocyanate groups, respectively. The PTU ligand can serve as either a monodentate ligand or a μ2-bridging ligand upon coordination to a metal atom.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization, and crystal structures of two Ni(II) complexes with N,N-bis[2-(2′-benzimidazolyl)ethyl]amine (bbiea) (1) and N,N-bis[2-(1′-methyl-2′-benzimidazolyl)ethyl]amine (bmbea) (2) are reported. The nickel complex Ni(bbiea)(O2C2H3)(ClO4) (3) crystallizes in the space group C2/c, with a = 35.830(7), b = 14.130(3), c = 10.756(2)?Å, and β = 103.04(3)°. Compound 4, Ni(bmbea)(NO3)2, crystallizes in the space group P21/c, with a = 17.024(5), b = 16.516(4), c = 8.692(2)?Å, and β = 91.31(2)°. In 3, the bbiea ligand is coordinated to the Ni(II) ion in a facial conformation, whereas the bmbea ligand in 4 adopts meridonal geometry. Both complexes contain a single benzimidazole chelate and the remaining coordination sites are occupied by solvent molecules and/or counterions. Reactions involving large excesses of ligand-to-metal and different solvents produced only the mono-chelated complexes 3 and 4. No evidence for formation of bis-chelated complexes with Ni(II) was observed by MALDI-TOF and ESI-mass spectroscopy. Ligand field parameters for 3 and 4 were determined to be 9606 and 9862?cm?1, respectively.  相似文献

A Contribution to Rhenium(II)‐, Osmium(II)‐, and Technetium(II)‐Thionitrosyl‐Complexes: Preparation, Structures, and EPR‐Spectra The reaction of [ReVINCl4] and [OsVINCl4] with S2Cl2 leads to the formation of the thionitrosyl complexes [MII(NS)Cl4] (M = Re, Os) which could not be isolated as pure compounds. Addition of pyridine to the reaction mixture results in the formation of the stable compounds trans‐(Ph4P)[OsII(NS)Cl4py], trans‐(Hpy)[OsII(NS)Cl4py], trans‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py], and cis‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py]. The crystal structure analyses show for trans‐(Ph4P)[OsII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 12.430(3)Å, b = 18.320(4)Å, c = 15.000(3)Å, β = 114.20(3)°, Z = 4), trans‐(Hpy)[OsII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 7.689(1)Å, b = 10.202(2)Å, c = 20.485(5)Å, β = 92.878(4)°, Z = 4), trans‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py] (triclinic, P1¯, a = 9.331(5)Å, b = 12.068(5)Å, c = 15.411(5)Å, α = 105.25(1)°, β = 90.23(1)°, γ = 91.62(1)°, Z = 2), and cis‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/c, a = 10.361(1)Å, b = 16.091(2)Å, c = 17.835(2)Å, β = 90.524(2)°, Z = 4) M‐N‐S angles in the range 168‐175°. This indicates a nearly linear coordination of the NS ligand. The metal atom is octahedrally coordinated in all cases. The rhenium(II) thionitrosyl complexes (5d5 “low‐spin” configuration, S = 1/2) are studied by EPR in the temperature range 295 > T > 130 K. In addition to the detection of the complexes formed during the reaction of [ReVINCl4] with S2Cl2 EPR investigations on diamagnetically diluted powders and single crystals of the system (Ph4P)[ReII/OsII(NS)Cl4py] are reported. The 185, 187Re hyperfine parameters are used to get information about the spin‐density distribution of the unpaired electron in the complexes under study. [TcVINCl4] reacts with S2Cl2 under formation of [TcII(NS)Cl4] which is not stable and decomposes under S8 elimination and rebuilding of [TcVINCl4] as found by EPR monitoring of the reaction.  相似文献

The nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of meso-3,6,6,9-tetramethyl-4,8-diazaundecane-2,10-dione dioxime (meso-HM-PAO) have an intramolecular hydrogen bond between cis oxime groups. [Cu(meso-HM-PAO-H)(H2O)](NCS) crystallizes in space group P21/n with a = 7.692(1), b = 12.028(2), c=20.235(3) Å, β=93.03(1)°, Z = 4 and Dc=1.46 g/cm3. The final R value for this complex was 0.034 for 2223 observed reflections with I ≥ 2.5σ (I). The Cu(II) coordination is a distorted square pyramid. The Cu(II) ion is five-coorinated with the diazadioxime N atoms equatorial and water O atom axial. The Cu(II) is 0.12 Å from the equatorial plane towards the hydrate. The equatorial Cu-N distances span a narrow range, 1.953(3)-1.999(3) Å. The axial Cu-O distance is 2.314(3) Å. The thiocyanate group is almost linear. The intramolecular O ?O hydrogen bond length is 2.479(4) Å. [Ni(meso-HM-PAO-H)](ClO4) crystallizes in space group P21/c with a = 14.774(3), b = 12.752(3), c = 20.035(4) Å, β = 92.94(3)°, Z = 8 and Dc = 1.51 g/cm3. The final R value for the complex was 0.053 for 4794 observed reflections with F ≥ 4σ (F). The coordination about Ni(II) is a slightly distorted square plane. The Ni(II) ion is 0.0673(7) Å from the best plane of the four donor nitrogen atoms away from the perchlorate ion. The Ni-N distances span a narrow range 1.863(4)-1.927(4) Å. There are two molecules per asymmetrical unit resulting in eight molecules being packed in an unit cell; they are bound together by van der Waals interactions. The O-H ?O bonds of these complexes give characteristic infrared absorptions as well as chemical shift of the 1H NMR signal (Ni complex).  相似文献

The crystal structure of (hexafluoroacetylacetonato)(pivaloylacetonato)copper(II) has been determined. Crystal data for CuO4C13H14F6: a = 8.288(2) Å, b = 8.682(2) Å, c = 12.307(2) Å; α = 90.75(3)°, β = 94.29(3)°, γ = 106.60(3)°; V = 845.7(3) Å3, space group \(P\overline 1 \), Z = 2, dcalc = 1.617 g/cm3. The coordination polyhedron of the copper atom is formed by four oxygen atoms of two different β-diketonate ligands with Cu-O distances within 1.874–1.946 Å; the O-Cu-O bond angles are 94.8° and 90.6°. The complexes are united into centrosymmetrical “dimers” with Cu...Cu distances of 4.365 Å.  相似文献

A new 7,16‐bis(quinolin‐8‐ylmethyl)‐1,4,10,13‐tetraoxa‐7,16‐diazacyclooctadecane ligand, L, has been prepared and its crystal structure reported. In addition, the structure of the protonated ligand H2L has been determined. H2L is of interest because of interatomic interactions between the ligand and perchlorate ions. The mononuclear Ba(II) (Ba L ), and dinuclear Cu(II) (Cu2L) complexes of L have been prepared and their crystal structures determined. Stability constants and other thermodynamic data valid in methanol at 23 or 25° for these and several other complexes of L have been obtained. Among the metal ions studied, L forms the most stable complex with Ba2+. In addition, L selectively binds Cu2+ over Ni2+ by about 3 orders of magnitude. Some of the complexes have been studied using nmr and uv‐vis spectroscopic techniques. Crystal data are given for L, space group, P21c, a = 8.8325(14) Å, b = 13.808(3) Å, c = 13.310(3) Å; β = 94.72(2)° Z=2, R = 0.0727; for H2 L , space group, P21/c, a = 14.685(3) Å, b = 15.035(6) Å, c = 17.369(4) Å, β = 90.366(12)°, Z = 4, R = 0.0781; for Ba L , space group, Pbcn, a = 17.314(3) Å, b = 9.539(2) Å, c = 22.081(3) Å, Z = 4, R = 0.0354; and for Cu2 L , space group, Cc, a = 19.762(2) Å, b = 14.413(2) Å, c = 14.935(2) Å, β = 98.753(12)°, Z = 4, R = 0.0564. Cu2+ forms a hydroxo‐bridged dinuclear complex with L while Ba2+ forms a mononuclear complex with L in which its two side arms are not involved in complexation.  相似文献
