X-ray diffraction analysis of Co(HNta) · 4H2O (I) (H3Nta = N(CH2COOH)3) revealed that its crystals are isostructural to a Zn analog and built from [Co(HNta)(H2O)3] complex molecules and crystallization water. The octahedral coordination of the Co atom includes two O atoms and an N atom provided by the chelating tridentate HNta2–ligand (average Co–O (Nta) 2.055 Å and Co–N 2.205 Å) and three O atoms of water molecules on the shared face (average Co–O(w) 2.105 Å).  相似文献

The structure of the title compound features mononuclear octahedral CoII cations, trans-[Co(H2O)2(MeCN)4]2+, and trinuclear anions, trans-[Co(H2O)2(MeCN)2(CoCl4)2]2–; the latter centrosymmetric units contain a central octahedral Co(H2O)2(MeCN)2 moiety with two tetrahedral [CoCl4]2– ligands. Two fumarato-bridged Co(II) coordination polymers Co(H2O)4L 1 and [Co3(H2O)4(OH)2L2]·2H2O 2 with H2LHOOCCH CHCOOH were prepared. Complex 1 consists of polymeric chains 1[Co(H2O)4(C4H2O4)2/2], which result from octahedrally coordinated Co atoms bridged by bis-monodentate fumarate anions and are assembled by interchain hydrogen bonds. Within 2, the edge-shared Co2O10 bi-octahedra are connected to the CoO6 octahedra to form 1D cobalt oxide chains and 3D open framework generated from the chains inter-linked by bis-bidentate fumarate anions displays rhombic tunnels, which are filled with the lattice H2O molecules. Thermal and magnetic behaviors of both the title coordination polymers are discussed. Crystal data: (1) monoclinic, P21/c, Z=4, a=7.493(1) Å, b=14.377(1) Å, c=7.708(1) Å, β=99.54(1)°, V=818.9(2) Å3, R1=0.0304, and wR2=0.0669 for 1487 observed reflections (I⩾2σ(I)) out of 1877 unique reflections; (2) monoclinic, P21/c, Z=2, a=6.618(1) Å, b=8.172(2) Å, c=15.578(3) Å, β=96.30(3)°, V=837.4(3) Å3, R1=0.0360 and wR2=0.0663 for 1442 observed reflections (I⩾2σ(I)) out of 1927 unique reflections.  相似文献

1,3- and 1,2-calix[4]crown-7 and calix[4]crown-9 cone conformers were synthesized in acceptable yields by sequential introduction of two distal or proximal polyethylene glycolic chains with terminal hydroxyls at the lower rim, monotosylation, and intramolecular ring closure reaction. According to the two-phase extraction experiment, the title compounds showed mediocre affinity for alkali and alkaline earth metal picrates. The 1,2-calix[4]crown-9 extracted Sr2+ selectively among other alkaline earth metal cations.  相似文献

The work presents results of the studies on the synthesis of Co–Pd alloys from acid electrolytes containing chloride ions. The main aim of the tests was to identify reactions responsible for alloy formation and to determine an influence of the electrolysis parameters, i.e. working electrode potential, electrolyte composition and temperature on the composition of the resulted alloy coatings. Electrochemical investigations were performed by applying cyclic voltammetry (CV) combined with electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM). The electrolyte composition was selected based on a thermodynamic analysis and spectrophotometric tests which were described in our previous papers [1, 2]. They allowed determination of equilibrium distribution of the metals complex forms and a stability analysis of the electrolyte. The alloys were synthesized within the potential range from ?0.7 to ?1.1 V. The tests indicate a possibility of alloys synthesis already at the potential range 相似文献

The standard enthalpies of formation, at 298 K, of the 1-phenyl-1,3-butanedione (HBZAC) and 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,4-pentanedione (HTFAC) crystalline complexes of cobalt(II) were determined by precise solution—reaction calorimetry: ΔH0f{Co(BZAC)2,cr} = −632±6.0 kJ mol−1 ΔH0f{Co(TFAC)2,cr} = −2140±10 kJ mol−1. The reaction of trans(N)-[Co(D-pen)2]? (pen = penicillaminate) or trans(N)-[Co(L-pen)2]? with [MCl2(L)] (M = Pd or Pt, L = 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) or 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine (dmbpy)) stereoselectively gave an optically active S-bridged dinuclear complex, [M(L){Co(D-pen)2}]Cl · 3H2O or [M(L){Co(L-pen)2}]Cl · 3H2O. The mixture of equimolar amounts of these two enantiomers in H2O crystallizes as [M(L){Co(D-pen)2}]0.5[M(L){Co(L- pen)2}]0.5Cl · nH2O (1cCl · 7H2O: M = Pd, L = bpy, n = 7; 2cCl · 7H2O: M = Pd, L = dmbpy, n = 7; 3cCl · 6H2O: M = Pt, L = dmbpy, n = 6), in which the enantiomeric complex cations are included in the ratio of 1 : 1. In the crystals of 1cCl · 7H2O, [Pd(bpy){Co(D-pen)2}]+ (1a) and [Pd(bpy){Co(L-pen)2}]+ (1b) are arranged alternately while overlapping the bpy planes along the a axis, and the π electronic systems of bpy moieties interact with each other. This is quite a contrast to the optically active 1aCl · 3H2O or 1bCl · 3H2O, which exist as monomers without intermolecular interactions. In crystals of 2cCl · 7H2O and 3cCl · 6H2O, similarly, the two enantiomeric complex cations interact with each other through the dmbpy frameworks. However, the interplane distances between the stacked π systems in these dmbpy complexes are considerably longer than in the bpy complexes. Such structural characteristics significantly reflect their diffuse reflectance spectra.  相似文献

The ‘complexes as metal’ strategy has been used to prepare new mixed ligand complexes containing Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) terpyridine (terpy) with dithiooxamide (dto) and thiosemicarbazide (tsc). Characterization of the complexes has been accomplished by elemental analysis, molar conductance, thermal analysis, as well as electronic and IR spectral measurements. It is deduced that the coordination mode of the terpyridine is changed from tridentate in the binary complex to bidentate in the ternary one where the uncoordinated pyridine exists in the protonated form. The dto and tsc act as neutral bidentate ligands coordinating through either sulfur or sulfur and nitrogen atoms respectively, forming chelate ring systems. The complexes [Cd(H2O)6](C5HN2O6)2 · 2H2O (I) and [Co(H2O)6](C5HN2O6)2 · 2H2O (II) were obtained in the crystalline state by reactions of cobalt chloride and cadmium chloride with ammonium 4-nitro-2,3,5,6-tetraoxopyridinate, (NH4)2 · (C5HO6N2)2. Their cocrystallization gave the heterometallic complex [Cd0.32Co0.68(H2O)6](C5HN2O6)2 · 2H2O (III). The crystal and molecular structures of complexes I-III were determined by X-ray diffraction. It was demonstrated that the complexation reactions occur by replacement of two ammonium cations 4-nitro-2,3,5,6-tetraoxopyridinate by the complex cations [M(H2O)6]2+. The tetraoxopyridinate anions and the complex cations are hydrogen-bonded through the coordinated and crystallization water molecules as well as through the O atoms of the organic anion. The thermolysis of complexes I and II was examined by TGA.  相似文献

A novel O—N—N—O-type tetradentate ligand H4mda (H4mda = malamido-N,N-diacetic acid) and the corresponding square-planar copper(II) complexes have been prepared and characterized. The mda4– ligand coordinates to the copper(II) ion via two pairs of deprotonated ligating atoms (two carboxylate oxygens and two deprotonated amide nitrogens) with in-plane square chelation. A four-coordinate, square-planar geometry has been established crystallographically for the [Co(H2O)6][Cu(mda)] · 2H2O complex. Structural data correlating the square-planar geometry of the [Cu(mda)]2– unit are discussed in relation to information obtained for similar complexes. The i.r., electronic, absorption and reflectance spectra of the complexes are analysed in comparison with related complexes of known geometries.  相似文献

The complexes [M(H2O)5][Cu(pdc)2]·2H2O [M=Ni(II) 1, Co(II) 2, Mn(II) 3; pcd=2,6-pyridinedicarboxylato] are prepared and their crystal structures, magnetic susceptibilities and UV-Visible properties reported. In all cases, the Cu(II) ion occupies the chelating site in the pdc ligand, while the M(II) occurs as a pentaaqua ion bridged to the [Cu(pdc)2] moiety through a carboxylate as demonstrated by both UV-Visible spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. Single crystal X-ray diffraction shows the three complexes to be isostructural. Weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the metal ions are observed in 1 and 3, while the magnetic behavior of 2 is dominated by single ion anisotropy.  相似文献

A new mononuclear Co(Ⅱ) complex, [Co(hmz)2(H2O)4]·2H2O, has been synthesized by the reaction of Co(CH3COO)2·4H2O with 1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-5-mercaptotetrazole (Hhmz). It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 13.502(5), b = 6.718(3), c = 13.972(6) (A), β = 117.532(4)°, V = 1123.9(8) (A)3, Z = 2, M r = 553.45, F(000) = 570, Dc = 1.635 g/cm3, μ = 1.008 mm-1, the final R = 0.0272 and wR = 0.0684 for 2194 observed reflections (Ⅰ> 2σ(Ⅰ)). The Co(Ⅱ) is six-coordinated by two nitrogen atoms from two hmz-1 ligands and four water molecules, forming an octahedral geometry. The intermolecular hydrogen bonding and offset-panel π-π stacking interactions between the adjacent molecules extend the compound into a three- dimensional supramolecular framework. The title compound emits strong blue fluorescent light (λem(max) = 427 nm) at room temperature and is red-shifted compared with free ligand Hhmz (λem(max) = 342 nm).  相似文献

A series of NiII complexes with the O,O-di-isoamylester of dithiophosphoric acid and nitrogen-donor ligands of composition [Ni(i-Am2dtp)2(L)]; [dtp = O2PS2 ; L = 2,2-bipyridine (bpy); 1,10-phenanthroline (phen); 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (nphen); 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (baphen); 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (neo), 2-aminomethylpyridine (amp), 2-(2-aminoethyl)pyridine (aep), 2,2-dipiridylamine (dpa), 1,2-diaminopropane (1,2-dap) or trans 1,2-diaminocyclohexane (dch)] have been prepared. The compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses (C,H,N,S), electronic and i.r. spectroscopy, magnetic and conductivity measurements and by cyclic voltammetry. The results show that all complexes behave as non-electrolytes in acetone. Electronic spectra and magnetic moments suggest a distorted cis-octahedral geometry around the NiII atom [eff/B <3.10, 3.40 >], except for [Ni(i-Am2dtp)2(aep)], where the measured temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility proved the tetrahedrally coordinated nickel [4.06 eff/B (298 K) – 3.20 eff/B (80 K)]. In the [Ni(i-Am2dtp)2(neo)] complex, the nickel atom is penta-coordinated. The X-ray crystal and molecular structure of [Ni(i-Am2dtp)2(1,2-dap)] has been determined.  相似文献

Heteronuclear germanium(IV) and Zn(II) (Co(II), Ni(II)) complexes with 1,3-diamino-2-propanol-tetraacetic acid (H5Hpdta) were synthesized. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetry, and IR spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction analysis of the crystals of [(OH)2Ge2(??-Hpdta)2Zn2(H2O)4] · 12H2O (I) was performed. The crystals are tetragonal, a = 15.2022(9)?, c = 20.932(3) ?, V = 4837.5(7) ?3, Z = 4, space group P43, R1 = 0.0449 over 11399 reflections with I > 2??(I). The structural units of the crystal are tetrametric complex molecules [(OH)2Ge2(??-Hpdta)2Zn2(H2O)4] and water molecules of crystallization. The tetramer is composed of two similar neutral dimeric molecules [(OH)Ge(??-Hpdta)Zn(H2O)2]. The germanium and zinc atoms in the dimer are linked by the bridging oxygen atom of the deprotonated isopropanol group of the Hpdta5? ligand (average Ge-O, 1.844(2)?; Zn-O, 2.192(3)?). The coordination sphere of the Ge and Zn atoms contains also one nitrogen atom (average Ge-N, 2.074(4)?; Zn-N, 2.156(3)?), four oxygen atoms belonging to four acetate branches of the octadentate Hpdta5? ligands including two carboxyl O atoms for each Ge atom (average Ge-O, 1.912(3)?) and two carbonyl O atoms for each Zn (average Zn-O, 2.065(3)?). The coordination polyhedron of each Ge atom is completed to a distorted octahedron by the oxygen atom of the terminal hydroxy group (average Ge-O, 1.772(2)?) and the carboxyl oxygen atom of the bridging acetate branch (average Ge-O, 1.926(3)?) coordinated through carbonyl oxygen to Zn atom (average Zn-O, 2.148(3)?) of the second dimeric molecule. The distorted octahedron around each Zn atom is completed by oxygens of two water molecules at substantially different distances (average Zn-O, 1.984(3) and 2.100(3)?). The structural units are combined by O-H??O hydrogen bonds to form a framework.  相似文献

Complexation reactions of isoleucine with beryllium(II) and cobalt(II) have been studied in solution phase using paper ionophoretic technique. The stability constants of ML and ML2 complexes of Be(II)—isoleucine and Co(II)—isoleucine systems have been found to be (7.49 ± 0.07, 5.89 ± 0.03) and (4.57 ± 0.11, 2.99 ± 0.09) (logarithm stability constant values), respectively at ionic strength of 0.1 mol L?1 and a temperature of 35°C.  相似文献

The results of syntheses and X-ray diffraction analyses of mononuclear complexes [ML2(H2O)4] (M = Co2+(I), Cu2+(II), and Zn2+(III)) containing water molecules and anions of acetic acid α-(N-benzoxazolin-2-one) (L = C9H6O4) are presented. The crystals of complexes I–III are isostructural (space group P21/n, Z = 2) and are built of discrete neutral complex molecules. The crystallographic data are as follows: for complex I, a = 6.1470(5), b = 5.3310(3), c = 30.5894(17) Å, β = 95.056(6)°, V = 998.50(11) Å3; for complex II, a = 5.9661(6) Å, b = 5.1414(4) Å, c = 32.672(2) Å, β = 92.395(6)°, V = 1001.33(14) Å3; and for complex III, a = 6.1404(3) Å, b = 5.3476(2) Å, c = 30.5865(12) Å, β = 94.708(4)°, V = 1000.96(7) Å3. The metal atoms (M) of the complexing agents are localized in the crystallographic symmetry centers and have a distorted octahedral environment due to two oxygen atoms of the carboxy groups of two monodentate ligands (L) and four water molecules. The M-O(1w)(H2O) and M-O(2w)(H2O) bond lengths for the indicated complexes are 2.088(3) and 2.118(3), 2.446(3) and 1.971(3), and 2.113(4) and 2.093(3) Å for M = Co2+, Cu2+, and Zn2+, respectively. The crystal structures are formed due to packing of chains built of inter-molecular hydrogen bonds O-H…O.  相似文献

Neutral complexes of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), and Zn(II) have been synthesized from the oxamide-based ligand derived from leucine and diethyloxalate. The structural features have been deduced from their microanalytical, IR, UV/Vis, mass, 1H and 13C NMR spectral data. The Co(II) and Ni(II) chelates have octahedral geometries and the Cu(II) chelate is a square-pyramidal geometry. The non-electrolytic and monomeric nature of the complexes is shown by their magnetic susceptibility and low conductance data. The biological activities of the ligand and its metal chelates against gram-positive and negative bacteria and fungi are also reported. All the compounds are antimicrobially active and show higher activity than the free ligand.  相似文献

Crystals of Ca[CoII(Nta)]2· 6H2O (I), where Nta3–is a nitrilotriacetate ion, were synthesized and studied using X-ray diffraction analysis. They were found to be monoclinic: a= 6.991(1), b= 10.031(1), c= 16.238(3) Å, = 98.50(1)°, V= 1126.2(3) Å3, space group P21/n, Z= 2, R 1= 0.0241, wR 2= 0.0636, GOOF = 1.050 (for 3132 reflections with I> 2(I)). Structure Iis composed of {[Co(Nta)(H2O)]}1anion chains united by Ca2+cations into a three-dimensional framework. The coordination polyhedra of Co and Ca atoms are distorted octahedra. The Co(II) atom environment includes atoms N(1), O(1), O(3), and O(5) of one Nta3–ligand, a carbonyl O(2)" atom of the neighboring anion fragment, and an O(w1) atom of the water molecule. The shortest bond is formed by the Co atom with the bridging O(2)" atom in trans-position relative to atom N(1). The Co–O(2)" distance (2.029 Å) is noticeably shorter than the other bond lengths, Co–O(Nta) (2.069–2.103 Å), Co–O(w1), and Co–N(1) (2.155 and 2.177 Å, respectively). Cations Ca2+are located in the inversion centers and involve in their coordination atoms O(4), O(6), O(w2), and the oxygen atoms symmetrically bond to them and arranged at 2.271(1), 2.420(1), and 2.351(2) Å, respectively. The structural formula of the title compound is {Ca(H2O)2[Co(Nta)(H2O)]2}3· 2H2O.  相似文献
