The saccharinato complexes [Zn(phen)2(sac)(H2O)]sac (1) and [Zn(sac)(dmp)(H2O)](sac) (2), where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dmp = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, and sac =saccharinato ion/ligand, were synthesized by the reaction of [Zn(sac)2(H2O)4] · 2H2O with ligands and have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, and 1H NMR spectroscopies. Conductivity of complexes was measured in DMSO. Compound 1 is characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction and compared with some isomorphous zinc-saccharinate complexes reported previously. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P 1 , with Z = 2, and consists of alternating slightly distorted octahedral [Zn(phen)2(sac)(H2O)]+ and noncoordinated saccharinate. The zinc bound aqua is hydrogen bonded to an oxygen of carbonyl in the saccharinate ligand and the SO2 group in the saccharinate counter-ion from an adjacent molecule. Intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen bonds and C–H ··· O and C–H ··· N short contacts lead to a 3-D network.  相似文献

The chelate complexes of the types (1) and (2) have been synthesized and characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy. The lower shift of the ν(P-Se) bands and downfield shift of the 31P-{1H}NMR signals for both P(III) and P(V) atoms in 1 and 2 compared to the corresponding free ligands indicate chelate formation through selenium donor. 1 and 2 show terminal ν(CO) bands at 1977 and 1981 cm−1, respectively, suggesting high electron density at the metal center. The molecular structure of 2 has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The rhodium atom is at the center of a square planar geometry having the phosphorus and selenium atoms of the chelating ligand at cis-position, one carbonyl group trans- to selenium and one chlorine atom trans- to phosphorus atom. 1 and 2 undergo oxidative addition (OA) reaction with CH3I to produce acyl complexes (3) and (4), respectively. The kinetics of the OA reactions reveal that 1 undergoes faster reaction by about 4.5 times than 2. The catalytic activity of 1 and 2 in carbonylation of methanol was higher than that of the well known species [Rh(CO)2I2] and 2 shows higher catalytic activity compared to 1.  相似文献

The present work reports the synthesis and spectroscopic and electrochemical characterization of homoleptic copper(I) complexes with substituted pirazino [2,3-f]-1,10-phenanthroline, RpplR′, (R = H, Me, COOH or COOMe, and R′ = H, Me) as ligand. The ligand ppl works as an acceptor of electronic density, which is delocalized mainly in the quinoxaline part of its structure. The UV–Vis spectra show that all the complexes display bands in the range 400–650 nm, which are MLCT in character. The λmax and extinction coefficients of the MLCT band at 450 nm and the LC band do not change significatively when varying the R substituent. Nevertheless, the intensity of the shoulder around 500 nm does change; this absorption has been related to either a static or dynamic flattening distortion of the complex D2d → D2 symmetry. The cyclic voltammetry of the complexes shows irreversible redox processes with Ep values that do not follow the tendency expected from the donor/acceptor character of the substituents on the ligand. All the complexes studied showed no emission both in acetonitrile and dichloromethane as solvent at room temperature and under argon atmosphere.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of potassium aquapentachloroiridate(III) (K2[Ir(H2O)Cl5]) was reported. The [Ir(H2O)Cl5]2− anions are nearly octahedral, the axial Ir–Cl bond (2.322(2) Å) being shorter than the equatorial ones (2.346(2)–2.360(2) Å); the Ir–O bond length is 2.090(4) Å. Ir(III) chloride complexes with 2,2′-bipyridine (LL = bpy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (LL = phen), of the general formulae K[Ir(LL)Cl4] and cis-[Ir(LL)2Cl2]Cl, were studied by far-IR and 1H–13C, 1H–15N HMBC/HMQC/HSQC–NMR. High-frequency 1H NMR coordination shifts (Δ1Hcoord = δ1Hcomplex − δ1Hligand; max. ca. +1 ppm) were noted for [Ir(LL)Cl4] anions, while for cis-[Ir(LL)2Cl2]+ cations they had variable sign and magnitude (max. ca. ±1 ppm); they were dependent on the proton position, being mostly expressed for the nitrogen-adjacent hydrogens (H(6) for bpy, H(2) for phen). 13C NMR signals were high-frequency shifted (by max. ca. 8 ppm), whereas all 15N nuclei were shifted to the lower frequency (by ca. 105–120 ppm). The experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts were reproduced by semi-empirical quantum-chemical calculations (B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*).  相似文献

Complexes of general formula [CuL4][BF4] (L = benzonitrile – PhCN 2 or phenylacetonitrile – BzCN 3) have been prepared and structurally characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. Their structure and reactivity have been compared to the well known [Cu(MeCN)4][BF4] (1). The 63Cu line width and the 63Cu chemical shift have been evaluated by varying the temperature and the concentration of the complex 2 in benzonitrile solutions. The phenylacetonitrile solutions of the complex 3 give extremely broad signals which are beyond detection. Accordingly, compound 3 has been studied by 63Cu MAS NMR spectroscopy. The solution NMR data are consistent to the prevalence of dynamic equilibrium between tetra- and low-coordinated species in both complexes. The X-ray structure of 3 revealed that the copper(I) atom sits in a slightly distorted tetrahedral geometry, surrounded by four BzCN ligands.  相似文献

Three new copper(II) complexes with isonicotinic acid N-oxide (HL) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) as ligands, [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2(NO3)2···2H2O (1), [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2(ClO4)2···2H2O (2), and [Cu(L)(phen)Br]2- [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2Br2···6H2O (3) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structures of all three complexes feature a Cu2 dimer formed by two Cu(II) ions interconnected by two bridging ligands. Each copper(II) ion has a distorted square pyramidal coordination geometry with elongated axial coordination by an aqua ligand or halogen anion. The isonicotinic acid N-oxide anion is bidentate, being coordinated to two Cu(II) ions through its N-O oxygen and one of its carboxylate oxygen atoms. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show a Curie–Weiss paramagnetic behavior characteristic of one unpaired electron for a copper(II) ion for all three complexes.  相似文献

The complexation reaction between palladium (II) acetate, and 1,1′-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene, DPPF, was investigated in two different deuterated solvents CDCl3 and DMSO at various temperatures using 31P NMR spectroscopy. The exchange between free and complexed DPPF is slow on the NMR time scale and consequently, two 31P NMR signals were observed. At metal ion-to-ligand mole ratio larger than 1, only one 31P NMR signal was observed, indicating the formation of a 1:1 Pd2+–DPPF complex in solution. The formation constant of the resulting 1:1 complexes was determined from the integration of two 31P signals. The values of the thermodynamic parameters (ΔH, ΔS and ΔG298) for complexation were determined from the temperature dependence of stability constants. It was found that, in both solvents, the resulting complex is mainly entirely enthalpy stabilized and the ΔH compensates the TΔS contribution.  相似文献

Ternary copper(II) complexes (13) of 1,10-phenanthroline and ethylenediamine-R-sulfonamide derivatives (R = benzene, toluene and naphthalene rings) have been synthesized and characterized with the aid of X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques. The crystal structures of the complexes show that the coordination polyhedron around copper(II) is distorted square planar. Both 1,10-phenanthroline and ethylenediamine-R-sulfonamide act as bidentate ligands. The three structures are stabilized by π–π stacking interactions. The interaction of the complexes with calf thymus DNA has been investigated by thermal denaturation studies which indicated that DNA was stabilized in the presence of the compounds. The increase in DNA stability induced by the complexes follows the order: 3 > 2 > 1. All three complexes were found to be very efficient agents of plasmid DNA cleavage in the presence of ascorbate as reducing agent. Mechanistic studies of the DNA cleavage process performed with radical scavengers show that the reactive oxygen species involved in the DNA damage are the hydroxyl radical, singlet oxygen-like species, the superoxide* and hydrogen peroxide.  相似文献

Three dinuclear and one mononuclear copper(II)-1,10-phenanthroline ternary complexes, [Cu(L1)(phen)(OH)]2 (1), [Cu(L2)(phen)(OH)]2·3H2O (2), [Cu(L3)(phen)(OH)]2 (3) and [Cu(L4)2(phen)(H2O)] (4), with thiadiazole sulfonamide derivative ligands: HL1 (N-(5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)naphthalene-1-sulfonamide), HL2 (N-(5-ethylthio)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)-4-methylbenzenesulfonamide), HL3 (N-(5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)benzenesulfonamide) and HL4 (N-(5-ethyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)-4-methylbenzenesulfonamide) have been synthesized and characterized. In the four complexes each copper atom is five-coordinated. The structure of complexes 1, 2 and 3 consists of a dimeric unit with a C2 symmetry axis, where both coppers are bridged by two hydroxo anions. Magnetic measurements show that the dimer complexes are ferromagnetic according to the Cu–O–Cu angles. Cleavage experiments using pUC18 plasmid DNA in the presence of H2O2/ascorbic acid as an activating agent show that the title complexes are potent artificial chemical nucleases, the order of efficiency being 3 > 2 ∼ 1 > 4. Control cleavage experiments indicated that the dimer complexes are stronger artificial nucleases than the [Cu(phen)2]2+ complex under the same experimental conditions, while the monomer 4 has a lower nuclease activity than the [Cu(phen)2]2+ complex. The inhibition of the cleavage process in the presence of reactive oxygen intermediate scavengers suggests that the hydroxyl radical and the superoxide anion are reactive species for the breakage of the DNA strands.  相似文献

The air-stable di-copper(I) complexes Cu2L(SCN)2 (1) and Cu2L(SCN)1.86I0.14 (2) of the N4 macrocyclic Schiff base ligand L have been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, UV-Vis and crystal structure determination. X-ray analysis of the complexes shows an approximate distorted trigonal planar geometry around each copper(I) ion that is constructed from one N-bonded thiocyanate (or iodide in 2) group and two imine nitrogen atoms. DFT calculations were used to determine the structural features of the Cu2L(SCN)2 complex, and these were consistent with the experimental data for the complex.  相似文献

At room temperature, the chain-like polymeric copper (II) complexes bridged by bis (diphenylphosphino oxide) ethane (dppeO2), [Cu(dppeO2)X2]n[X=Cl(1), Br(2)] have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, 31P NMR, TG-DTA and X-ray analysis for [ CuBr2 (dppeO2) ] n The chain is composed of subunits containing tetrahedron coordinated copper (II) atoms. The four-coordinated copper (II) atom is ligated to another four-coordinated copper (II) atom through dppeO2. The coordination sphere of copper(II) atom is completed by two monodentate bromide and two oxygen atoms from bridging dppeO2. Crystal data are as follows: C26-H24CuP2BnO2, 0.50 mm× 0.40 mm×0.40 mm, monoclin-ic, space group: C2/c, λ= 0.07107 nm(Mo Ka), a = 1.2286(2) nm, b=2.0555(8) nm, c = 1.0652(2) nm, β = 97.366(9)°, V = 2.668nm3, Z = 4, Dcalc = 1.628 g·cm-3, R = 0.066; Rw = 0.091.  相似文献

Copper(I) halide complexes having thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) and phosphorescence have attracted much attention. Here, a series of four-coordinate dinuclear copper(I) halide complexes, [CuX(bpbp)]2 (bpbp = 2,2′-bis(diphenylphosphino)biphenyl, X = I (1), Br (2) and Cl (3)), were synthesized, and their molecular structures and photophysical properties were investigated. The structural analysis reveals that two copper(I) centers are bridged by two halogen ligands to form a dinuclear structure with a four-membered Cu2X2 ring. These complexes exhibit yellow to blue emission in the solid state at room temperature and have peak emission wavelengths at 575–487 nm with microsecond lifetimes (τ = 6.2–19.8 μs) and low emission quantum yields (<0.01%). The emissions of 13 originate from MLCT, XLCT, and IL (intraligand) transitions. Three complexes displayed good thermal stability.  相似文献

The reaction of [ReO(OMe)Cl2(dpphen)] (dpphen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline) with triphenylphosphine has been examined and two novel rhenium complexes - [ReIIICl3(dpphen)(PPh3)]·Me2CO (1) and [ReIVCl4(dpphen)]·CHCl3 (2) - have been obtained. The compounds have been characterised by elemental analysis, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, magnetic measurements and X-ray crystallography. The electronic structures of [ReCl3(dpphen)(PPh3)] and [ReCl4(dpphen)] have been studied by DFT/B3LYP level calculations, and TD-DFT calculations have been employed for discussion of the electronic spectra in more detail. The magnetic behaviour of 1 is characteristic of mononuclear complexes with d4 low-spin octahedral Re(III) complexes (3T1g ground state) and arise because of the large spin-orbit coupling (ζ = 2500 cm−1), which gives diamagnetic ground state. For complex 2 the results of calculations revealed value of zero-field splitting parameter D = 10.8 cm−1, g|| = 2.49 and g = 1.51.  相似文献

A mixed ligand complex of Cu(II) with 1,10-phenanthroline and succinate has been synthesized from the reaction of hydrated copper nitrate, succinate, and 1,10-phenanthroline. The nature of bonding and the structure of the complex were characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectrum, TGA/DTA, and X-ray diffraction. The crystal crystallizes in triclinic space group P 1. The complex is polymeric and the geometry around each copper varies from square planar to distorted square pyramidal or octahedral. Each copper coordinates two oxygens of succinate and two nitrogens of 1,10-phenanthroline. The thermal decomposition of the complex has also been studied by TGA and DTA under inert atmosphere.  相似文献

μ-1,3-Acetamide or acetate bridged, symmetric and asymmetric dicopper(II) complexes viz [Cu2(P1-O)(NHAc)](ClO4)2 (1), [Cu2(P2-O)(OAc)](ClO4)2 (2) and [Cu2(P2′-O)(OAc)(H2O)](ClO4)2 (3) were synthesized by employing classic dinucleating ligands; P1-OH, P2-OH (symmetric), and P2′-OH (asymmetric) having trivial differences in their ligand frame work. Solid state structures of these complexes were determined by X-ray crystallography. In solution, they were also characterized by various spectroscopic techniques, which includes ESI-MS, FT-IR, optical, solution magnetic moment, paramagnetic 1H NMR and EPR. The solution magnetic moment of these complexes at room temperature suggests a weak magnetic interaction between the two Cu(II) centers.  相似文献

Reaction of oligomeric Cu(I) complexes [Cu(Μ-S-C(=NR)(O-Ar-CH3)]n with Lewis acids gave Cu(I) carbene complexes, which were characterized by1H and13C NMR spectroscopy. Cu(I) carbene complexes could be directly generated from RNCS, Cu(I)-OAr and Lewis acids; this method can be used to prepare Cu(I) carbene complexes with different substitutents on the carbene carbon. The complexes were unreactive towards olefins and do not undergo cyclopropanation. Electronic structure calculations (DFT) show that the charge on the carbene carbon plays an important role in controlling the reactivity of the carbene complex.  相似文献

Silver(I) pyridinecarboxylates (AgPIC (1), AgNIC (2), [Ag(HDIPIC)]·0.75H2O (3), PIC?=?picolinate, NIC?=?nicotinate, HDIPIC?=?dipicolinate) were prepared by solvothermal syntheses and their characterization were completed by elemental, spectral, and thermal analyses. To assign the pyridinecarboxylate coordination mode in the complexes, detailed mid-infrared spectral data and Δ(νas???νs) comparisons were accomplished. In addition, silver(I) pyridinecarboxylate antimicrobial activities and stability by 1H NMR spectra were determined. Moreover, the spectral, thermal, and antimicrobial properties of silver(I) and previously prepared zinc(II) pyridinecarboxylates were compared and discussed.  相似文献
