The results of a systematic solid-state (31)P NMR study of 5-phenyldibenzophosphole, DBP, its chalcogenides, and some of its transition metal complexes are reported. Phosphorus chemical shift tensors have been obtained from (31)P NMR spectra of stationary samples and of samples spinning about the magic angle. The spans of the phosphorus chemical shift tensors for DBP and its chalcogenides are comparable to those of the corresponding compounds of triphenylphosphine; however, the asymmetry of the tensors for the DBP series reflects the reduced local symmetry at phosphorus. For the complexes (DBP)M(CO)(5) and cis-(DBP)(2)M(CO)(4), where M is a group 6 transition metal (Cr, Mo, W), the most shielded component of the phosphorus shift tensor is found to be relatively independent of the metal or complex, delta(33) = -41 +/- 8 ppm, and is thought to lie along or close to the P-M bond axis direction. In contrast, delta(11) and delta(22) show considerable variation but decrease systematically on descending the group from Cr to W. Group 10 metal complexes, (DBP)(2)MX(2), have also been investigated, including several trans geometric isomers of nickel, cis and trans isomers of palladium, and cis isomers of platinum. The phosphorus shift tensors are nonaxially symmetric with spans in the range 50 -150 ppm. The phosphorus shift tensors of the two nonequivalent DBP ligands of (DBP)(2)PtX(2) (X = Cl, Br) exhibit quite different principal components. The intermediate component of the shift tensor is thought to lie along the Pt-P bond in these complexes. Some of the complexes exhibit interesting MAS-frequency-dependent (31)P NMR spectra.  相似文献

The phosphorus chemical shift (CS) tensors of several ruthenium carbonyl compounds containing a phosphido ligand, micro), bridging a Ru [bond] Ru bond were characterized by solid-state (31)P NMR spectroscopy. As well, an analogous osmium compound was examined. The structures of most of the clusters investigated have approximate local C(2v) symmetry about the phosphorus atom. Compared to the "isolated" PH(2)(-) anion, the phosphorus nucleus of a bridging phosphido ligand exhibits considerable deshielding. The phosphorus CS tensors of most of the compounds have spans ranging from 230 to 350 ppm and skews of approximately zero. Single-crystal NMR was used to investigate the orientation of the phosphorus CS tensors for two of the compounds, Ru(2)(CO)(6)(mu(2)-C [triple bond] C [bond] Ph)(mu(2)-PPh(2)) and Ru(3)(CO)(9)(mu(2)-H)(mu(2)-PPh(2)). The intermediate component of the phosphorus CS tensor, delta(22), lies along the local C(2) axis in both compounds. The least shielded component, delta(11), lies perpendicular to the Ru [bond] P [bond] Ru plane while the most shielded component, delta(33), lies perpendicular to the C [bond]P [bond] C plane. The orientation of the phosphorus CS tensor for a third compound, Ru(2)(CO)(6)(mu(2)-PPh(2))(2), was investigated by the dipolar-chemical shift NMR technique and was found to be analogous, suggesting it to be the same in all compounds. Ab initio calculations of phosphorus magnetic shielding tensors have been carried out and reproduce the orientations found experimentally. The orientation of the CS tensor has been rationalized using simple frontier MO theory. Splittings due to (99,101)Ru [bond] (31)P spin-spin coupling have been observed for several of the complexes. A rare example of (189)Os [bond] (31)P spin-spin splittings is observed in the (31)P MAS NMR spectrum of the osmium cluster, where (1)J((189)Os, (31)P) is 367 Hz. For this complex, the (189)Os nuclear quadrupolar coupling constant is on the order of several hundred megahertz.  相似文献

31P CP/MAS NMR spectroscopy was used to study the adsorption of six different O,O'-dialkyldithiophosphate ions on the surface of synthetic galena (PbS). The 31P CP/MAS NMR spectra of the surface lead(II) dithiophosphates were compared with the 31P CP/MAS NMR spectra of polycrystalline lead(II) dithiophosphate complexes of the same ligands. Surface complexation of the dialkyldithiophosphate ions was established on the surface of PbS. A terminal S,S(')-chelating coordination is suggested for the surface complexes. The bulkier alkyl groups lead to surface precipitation in addition to the surface adsorption. Derivatives of monothiophosphoric and phosphoric acids were displayed as hydrolysis products of dialkyldithiophosphates on the synthetic PbS, the amount of which depends on the type of alkyl group.  相似文献

As part of our interest in the design and reactivity of P,O ligands, and because the insertion chemistry of small molecules into a metal alkyl bond is very dependent on the ancillary ligands, the behavior of Pt-methyl complexes containing the beta-phosphonato-phosphine ligand rac-Ph2PCH(Ph)P(O)(OEt)2 (abbreviated PPO in the following) toward CO insertion has been explored. New, mononuclear Pt(II) complexes containing one or two PPO ligands, [PtClMe(kappa2-PPO)] (1), [Pt{C(O)Me}Cl(kappa2-PPO)] (2), [PtMe(CO)(kappa2-PPO)]OTf (3 x OTf), [PtMe(OTf)(kappa2-PPO)] (4), trans-[PtClMe(kappa1-PPO)2] (5), [PtMe(kappa2-PPO)(kappa1-PPO)]BF4 (6 x BF4), [PtMe(kappa2-PPO)(kappa1-PPO)]OTf (6 x OTf), and [Pt{C(O)Me}(kappa2-PPO)(kappa1-PPO)]BF4 (7 x BF4) have been prepared and characterized. Hemilability of the ligands is observed in the cations 6 and 7 in which the terminally bound and chelating PPO ligands exchange their role on the NMR time-scale. The acetyl complexes 2 and 7 are stable in solution, but the former deinserts CO upon chloride abstraction. We also demonstrate the ability of PPO to behave as an assembling ligand and to stabilize a heterometallic Pt-Ag metal complex, [PtMe(kappa2-PPO){mu-(eta1-P;eta1-O)PPO)}Ag(OTf)(Pt-Ag)]OTf (8 x OTf), which was obtained by reaction of 5 with AgOTf to generate more reactive, cationic complexes. Whereas the first equivalent of AgOTf abstracted the chloride ligand, the second equivalent added to the cationic complex with formation of a Pt-Ag bond (2.819(1) A). The complexes 1, 2, 4, 5 x CH2Cl2, and (8 x OTf)2 have been structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The latter has a dimeric nature in the solid state, with two silver-bound triflates acting as bridging ligands between two Pt-Ag moieties. In addition to the Ag-Pt bond, the Ag+ cation is stabilized by a dative O -->Ag interaction involving one of the PPO ligands.  相似文献

Complexes [Zn[Se(2)P(OEt)(2)](2)]( infinity ) (1) and [Zn(2)[Se(2)P(O(i)Pr)(2)](4)] (2) are prepared from the reaction of Zn(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O and (NH(4))[Se(2)P(OR)(2)] (R = Et and (i)Pr) in a molar ratio of 1:2 in deoxygenated water at room temperature. Positive FAB mass spectra show m/z peaks at 968.8 (Zn(2)L(3)(+)) and 344.8 (ZnL(+)) for 1 and m/z at 1052.8 (Zn(2)L(3)(+)) for 2. (1)H NMR spectra exhibit chemical shifts at delta 1.43 and 4.23 ppm for 1 and 1.41 and 4.87 ppm for 2 due to Et and (i)Pr group of dsep ligands. While the solid-state structure of compound 1 is a one-dimensional polymer via symmetrically bridging dsep ligands, complex 2 in the crystalline state exists as a dimer. In both 1 and 2, zinc atoms are connected by two bridging dsep ligands with an additional chelating ligand at each zinc atom. The dsep ligands exhibit bimetallic biconnective (micro(2), eta(2)) and monometallic biconnective (eta(2)) coordination patterns. Thus, each zinc atom is coordinated by four selenium atoms from two bridging and one chelating dsep ligands and the geometry around zinc is distorted tetrahedral. The Zn-Se distances range between 2.422 and 2.524 A. From variable-temperature (31)P NMR studies it has been found that monomer and dimer of the complex are in equilibrium in solution via exchange of bridging and chelating ligands. However, at temperature above 40 degrees C the complex exists as a monomer and shows a very sharp peak while with lowering of the temperature the percentage of dimer increases gradually at the expense of monomer. Below -90 degrees C the complex exists as a dimer and two peaks are observed with equal intensities which are due to bridging and chelating ligands. (77)Se NMR spectra of both complexes at -30 degrees C exhibit three doublets due to the presence of monomer and dimer in solution.  相似文献

Vibrational study of new Pt(II) and Pd(II) complexes of functionalized nitrogen-containing tertiary phosphine oxides, namely ortho-, meta- and para-dimethylphosphinylmethyleneoxyaniline (o-, m- and p-dpmoa), (CH3)2P(O)CH2OC6H4NH2, have been presented. Geometry optimization of the ligands was performed at HF/6-31G* and B3LYP/6-31G* levels of the theory. Harmonic frequencies were calculated at HF/6-31G* optimized geometries. Relative gas-phase and solution-phase (H2O and CH3CN) basicities of o-, m- and p-dpmoa ligands have been determined by ab initio calculations at STO-3G level with the Onsager reaction field model. On the basis of the vibrational study, physical and analytical data it was suggested that the ligands in the complexes studied coordinate through the amino group and form square-planar platinum and palladium complexes of the general formula ML2Cl2 (M = Pt, Pd, L = o-, m- and p-dpmoa).  相似文献

The (31)P MAS NMR spectrum of Hittorf's phosphorus has been measured and assigned to the 21 crystallographically distinct phosphorus atoms based on two-dimensional dipolar correlation spectroscopies. Application of such 2D techniques to phosphorus-based networks is particularly challenging owing to the wide chemical shift dispersions, rapid irreversible decay of transverse magnetization, and extremely slow spin-lattice relaxation in these systems. Nevertheless, a complete assignment was possible by using the combination of correlated spectroscopy (COSY) and radiofrequency-driven dipolar recoupling (RFDR). The assignment is supported further by DFT-based ab initio chemical shift calculations using a cluster-model approach, which gives good agreement between experimental and calculated chemical shift values. The (31)P chemical shifts appear to be strongly correlated with the average P-P bond lengths within the P(P(1/3))(3) coordination environments, whereas no clear dependence on average P-P-P bond angles can be detected. Calculations of localized Kohn-Sham orbitals reveal that this bond-length dependence is reflected in energy variations in the corresponding localized p-p-σ orbitals influencing the paramagnetic deshielding contribution in Ramsey's equation. In contrast, the contributions of the lone pairs to shielding differences are small and/or do not vary in a systematic manner for the different crystallographically distinct phosphorus sites. The combined spectroscopic and quantum chemical approach applied here and the increased theoretical understanding of (31)P chemical shifts will facilitate the structural elucidation of other phosphorus-based clusters and networks.  相似文献

The first transition metal complexes of cyclic triphosphenium ions have been unequivocally identified in solution by (31)P NMR spectroscopy. The ligands coordinate to platinum(II) via the central phosphorus atom, but only when at least one of the outer phosphorus atoms has non-aromatic substituents. Depending on the system, either trans- (the kinetic reaction product) and/or cis- (the thermodynamic reaction product) complexes are formed. The (1)J coupling constants between (195)Pt and the central phosphorus atom of the CTI (P(A)) are small for both cis- and trans-isomers, between 900 and 1300 Hz, whereas other phosphanes in these complexes derived from the platinum(II) starting material show normal (1)J(PtP) values. These results suggest a possible long P-Pt bond between the overall positively charged ligand and the platinum(II) cation. Calculations including predicted (31)P NMR shifts for the CTIs and their Pt(II) complexes largely support our experimental findings.  相似文献

Bis[6-O,6-O'-(1,2:3,4-diisopropylidene-alpha-D-galactopyranosyl) thiophosphoryl] disulfide shows a strong tendency to form inclusion compounds. The crystal and molecular structure of eight different solvates was established by X-ray analysis. The results indicate three different types of disulfide arrangements in the crystal lattice. By means of 31P CP/MAS NMR experiments the principal values delta 11, delta 22, and delta 33 of the 31P chemical shift tensor were obtained for each form. The orientation of its principal axes with respect to a molecular frame was investigated by means of 31P CP and single-crystal NMR for the complex with propan-2-ol. The principal axis 1 of both chemically equivalent phosphorus atoms is nearly parallel to the P-S bond and the principal axis 3 is very close to the P=S bond. DFT GIAO calculations of the model compound (EtO)2(S)P1SSP2(S)-(OEt)2 allowed assignment of the experimental chemical shift curves to the magnetically nonequivalent atoms P1 and P2. The maximum difference between calculated angles [symbol: see text] i-P-X)calcd and experimental angles [symbol: see text] i-P-X)exptl is 8.3 degrees and the rms distance 3.8 degrees (i = principal axes 1, 2, 3; X = S, -S-, -O1-, -O2-). The influence of C-H...S weak hydrogen bonding on phosphorus shielding was tested theoretically (31P DFT GIAO) employing the dimethoxythiophosphoryl disulfide.CH4 complex as a model compound. The sensitivity of 31P delta ii parameters to intermolecular forces is demonstrated.  相似文献

The reaction of [NiBr(2)(bpy)(2)] (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) with organic phosphinic acids ArP(O)(OH)H [Ar = Ph, 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl (Mes), 9-anthryl (Ant)] leads to the formation of binuclear nickel(II) complexes with bridging ArP(H)O(2)(-) ligands. Crystal structures of the binuclear complexes [Ni(2)(μ-O(2)P(H)Ar)(2)(bpy)(4)]Br(2) (Ar = Ph, Mes, Ant) have been determined. In each structure, the metal ions have distorted octahedral coordination and are doubly bridged by two arylphosphinato ligands. Magnetic susceptibility measurements have shown that these complexes display strong antiferromagnetic coupling between the two nickel atoms at low temperatures, apparently similar to binuclear nickel(II) complexes with bridging carboxylato ligands. Cyclic voltammetry and in situ EPR spectroelectrochemistry show that these complexes can be electrochemically reduced and oxidized with the formation of Ni(I),Ni(0)/Ni(III) derivatives.  相似文献

In the context of our detailed study of the chemical behavior of aquo- and ammine-Zn(II) complexes, ab initio quantum mechanical/molecular mechanical (QM/MM) molecular dynamics (MD) simulations were performed at the Hartree-Fock (HF) level for the zinc(II)-diamine complexes in aqueous solution. The initial structures of cis and trans isomers of the tetraaquodiamminezinc(II) complex were found to transform into the triaquodiamminezinc(II) complex by releasing one water ligand after approximately 6 and approximately 22 ps of simulation time, respectively. The structural and dynamical properties of these three zinc complexes, i.e., cis-[Zn(NH3)2(H2O)4]2+, trans-[Zn(NH3)2(H2O)4]2+, and [Zn(NH3)2(H2O)3]2+, were analyzed in terms of radial distribution functions (RDF), coordination number distributions (CND), angular distribution functions (ADF), tilt and theta angle distributions, ligands' mean residence times (MRTs), and ion-ligand stretching frequencies. One considerably elongated Zn-O bond of 2.43 A was observed in the case of the cis isomer for one of the water ligands located in the trans position to an ammonia ligand. In the trans isomer the average Zn-O bond length was observed to be 2.23 A, while in the triaquodiamminezinc(II) complex two distinct Zn-O bonds, namely 2.12 A for the ligands in the trigonal plane and 2.26 A for axial water molecules, were observed. As both of the octahedral isomers are transformed into the pentacoordinated structure within the picosecond range, they might be regarded as "metastable species or intermediates", while the triaquodiamminezinc(II) complex is the most stable species of the zinc(II)-diamine complex in aqueous solution.  相似文献

A series of l and dl forms of O-phosphorylated amino acids (serine, threonine, tyrosine) have been studied by using solid-state multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and ab initio calculations. Principal elements of the (13)C and (31)P chemical shielding tensors have been measured and discussed in relation to zwitterionic structures and intermolecular contacts. DFT calculations have been compared with experimental data showing their ability to reproduce experimentally obtained tensor values in this challenging class of compounds. The changes of orientation of (31)P chemical shielding tensor with respect to the molecular frame in the presence of hydrogen bonds have been revealed and discussed on the ground of theoretical calculations. The measurements of internuclear P...P distances, based on Zeeman magnetization exchange between (31)P spins with differing chemical shielding tensor orientations, were exploited for a clear distinction between enantiomers and racemates.  相似文献

The interactions of synthetic chalcocite surfaces with diethyldithiophosphate, potassium salt, K[S2P(OC2H5)2], were studied by means of 31P cross-polarization/magic angle spinning (CP/MAS) NMR spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). To identify the species formed on the Cu2S surfaces, a polycrystalline {CuI6[S2P(OC2H5)2]6} cluster was synthesized and analyzed by SEM, powder X-ray diffraction techniques and solid-state 31P CP/MAS NMR and static 65Cu NMR spectroscopy. 31P chemical shift anisotropy (CSA) parameters, delta(cs) and eta(cs), were estimated and used for assigning the bridging type of diethyldithiophosphate ligands in the {CuI6[S2P(OC2H5)2]6} cluster. The latter data were compared to 31P CSA parameters estimated from the spinning sideband patterns in 31P NMR spectra of the collector-treated mineral surfaces: formation of polycrystalline {CuI6[S2P(OC2H5)2]6} on the Cu2S surfaces is suggested. The second-order quadrupolar line shape of 65Cu was simulated, and the NMR interaction parameters, CQ and etaQ, for the copper(I) diethyldithiophosphate cluster were obtained.  相似文献

The assignment of high-field (18.8 T) (17)O MAS and 3QMAS spectra has been completed by use of first-principles calculations for three crystalline sodium phosphates, Na 3P 3O 9, Na 5P 3O 10, and Na 4P 2O 7. In Na 3P 3O 9, the calculated parameters, quadrupolar constant ( C Q), quadrupolar asymmetry (eta Q), and the isotropic chemical shift (delta cs) correspond to those deduced experimentally, and the calculation is mandatory to achieve a complete assignment. For the sodium tripolyphosphate Na 5P 3O 10, the situation is more complex because of the free rotation of the end-chain phosphate groups. The assignment obtained with ab initio calculations can however be confirmed by the (17)O{ (31)P} MAS-J-HMQC spectrum. Na 4P 2O 7 (17)O MAS and 3QMAS spectra show a complex pattern in agreement with the computed NMR parameters, which indicate that all of the oxygens exhibit very similar values. These results are related to structural data to better understand the influence of the oxygen environment on the NMR parameters. The findings are used to interpret those results observed on a binary sodium phosphate glass.  相似文献

A comparison of the square-planar complexes of group 10 (Pd(II), Pt(II)) and 16 (Se(II), Te(II)) centers with the tetraisopropyldiselenoimidodiphosphinate anion, [N((i)Pr2PSe)2](-), is made on the basis of the results of a solid-state (31)P, (77)Se, (125)Te, and (195)Pt NMR investigation. Density functional theory calculations of the respective chemical shift and (14)N electric field gradient tensors in these compounds complement the experimental results. The NMR spectra were analyzed to determine the respective phosphorus, selenium, tellurium, and platinum chemical shift tensors along with numerous indirect spin-spin coupling constants. Special attention was given to observed differences in the NMR parameters for the transition metal and main-group square-planar complexes. Residual dipolar coupling between (14)N and (31)P, not observed in the solid-state (31)P NMR spectra of the Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes, was observed at 4.7 and 7.0 T for M[N((i)Pr 2PSe)2]2(M = Se, Te) yielding average values of R((31)P, (14)N)eff = 890 Hz, CQ((14)N) = 2.5 MHz, (1) J( (31)P, (14)N) iso= 15 Hz, alpha = 90 degrees , beta = 17 degrees . The span, Omega, and calculated orientation of the selenium chemical shift tensor for the diselenoimidodiphosphinate anion is found to depend on whether the selenium is located within a pseudoboat or distorted-chair MSe 2P 2N six-membered ring. The largest reported values of (1)J((77)Se, (77)Se) iso, 405 and 435 Hz, and (1)J((125)Te, (77)Se)iso, 1120 and 1270 Hz, were obtained for the selenium and tellurium complexes, respectively; however, in contrast a correspondingly large value of (1)J((195)Pt, (77)Se)iso was not found. The chemical shift tensors for the central atoms, Se(II) and Te(II), possess positive skews, while for Pt(II) its chemical shift tensor has a negative kappa. This observed difference for the shielding of the central atoms has been explained using a qualitative molecular orbital approach.  相似文献

Phosphorus-31 NMR spectra of solid [tris(dimethylphenylphosphine)](2,5-norbornadiene) rhodium(I) hexafluorophosphate have been acquired at several applied magnetic field strengths. The phosphorus nuclei of the three phosphine ligands are spin-spin coupled to each other and to 103Rh, resulting in complex NMR spectra; however, the three phosphorus chemical shift (CS) tensors were determined through the analysis of NMR spectra of slow magic angle spinning and stationary samples. Spectra of spinning samples in rotational resonance and two-dimensional 31P NMR spectra were particularly useful for determining the magnitudes of the indirect spin-spin couplings, and to probe their signs. Despite being in similar environments, the three phosphorus nuclei of the phosphine ligands have distinct CS tensors. In particular, the spans of these tensors, delta11-delta33, range from 80 to 176 ppm. The phosphorus CS tensors have been assigned to specific sites determined by X-ray crystallography, based on a combination of the experimental results and the results of quantum chemical calculations of the phosphorus shielding and 2J(31P,31P) values. The effect of coordination of dimethylphenylphosphine with rhodium has been investigated by comparing calculated phosphorus CS tensors for the uncoordinated ligand with those obtained for the ligands in the complex.  相似文献

A number of polycrystalline copper(I) O,O'-dialkyldithiophosphate cluster compounds with Cu4, Cu6, and Cu8 cores were synthesized and characterized by using extended X-ray absorption fine-structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy. The structural relationship of these compounds is discussed. The polycrystalline copper(I) O,O'-diisobutyldithiophosphate cluster compounds, [Cu8{S2P(OiBu)2}6(S)] and [Cu6{S2P(OiBu)2}6], were also characterized by using 31P CP/MAS NMR (CP = cross polarization, MAS = magic-angle spinning) and static 65Cu NMR spectroscopies (at different magnetic fields) and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. Comparative analyses of the 31P chemical-shift tensor, and the 65Cu chemical shift and quadrupolar-splitting parameters, estimated from the experimental NMR spectra of the polycrystalline copper(I) cluster compounds, are presented. The adsorption mechanism of the potassium O,O'-diisobutyldithiophosphate collector, K[S2P(OiBu)2], at the surface of synthetic chalcocite (Cu2S) was studied by means of solid-state 31P CP/MAS NMR spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). 31P NMR resonance lines from collector-treated chalcocite surfaces were assigned to a mixture of [Cu8{S2P(OiBu)2}6(S)] and [Cu6{S2P(OiBu)2}6] compounds.  相似文献

Equation-of-motion coupled cluster singles and doubles (EOM-CCSD) calculations have been performed to evaluate three-bond (15)N-(31)P coupling constants ((3h)J(N[bond]P)) across N[bond]H....O[bond]P hydrogen bonds in model cationic and anionic complexes including NH(4)(+):OPH, NH(4)(+):OPH(3), NH(3):(-)O(2)PH(2), NFH(2):(-)O(2)PH(2), and NF(2)H:(-)O(2)PH(2). Three-bond coupling constants can be appreciable when the phosphorus is P(V), but are negligible with P(III). (3h)J(N[bond]P) values in complexes with cyclic or open structures are less than 1 Hz, a consequence of the nonlinear arrangement of N, H, O, and P atoms. For complexes with these structures, (3h)J(N[bond]P) may not be experimentally measurable. In contrast, complexes in which the N, H, O, and P atoms are collinear or nearly collinear have larger values of (3h)J(N[bond]P), even though the N[bond]P distances are longer than N[bond]P distances in cyclic and open structures. In linear complexes, (3h)J(N[bond]P) is dominated by the Fermi-contact term, which is distance dependent. Therefore, N[bond]P (and hydrogen-bonding N[bond]O) distances in these complexes can be determined from experimentally measured (15)N-(31)P coupling constants.  相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) has been applied to study the conformational dependence of 31P chemical shift tensors in B-DNA. The gg and gt conformations of backbone phosphate groups representing BI- and BII-DNA have been examined. Calculations have been carried out on static models of dimethyl phosphate (dmp) and dinucleoside-3',5'-monophosphate with bases replaced by hydrogen atoms in vacuo as well as in an explicit solvent. Trends in 31P chemical shift anisotropy (CSA) tensors with respect to the backbone torsion angles alpha, zeta, beta, and epsilon are presented. Although these trends do not change qualitatively upon solvation, quantitative changes result in the reduction of the chemical shift anisotropy. For alpha and zeta in the range from 270 degrees to 330 degrees and from 240 degrees to 300 degrees , respectively, the delta22 and delta33 principal components vary within as much as 30 ppm, showing a marked dependence on backbone conformation. The calculated 31P chemical shift tensor principal axes deviate from the axes of O-P-O bond angles by at most 5 degrees . For solvent models, our results are in a good agreement with experimental estimates of relative gg and gt isotropic chemical shifts. Solvation also brings the theoretical deltaiso of the gg conformation closer to the experimental gg data of barium diethyl phosphate.  相似文献
