We investigate the coupling of two superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) via a metallic nanomechanical resonator (NAMR), and bring out the effective interaction between the two SQUIDs. By constructing the evolution operator, we also study the evolvement of entanglement in this composed system.  相似文献

We propose an effective mechanism to couple superconducting charge and flux qubits by using a quantized nanomechanical resonator. The coupling between the charge and flux qubits can be controlled by the external flux of the charge qubit. Under the strong coupling limit, an iSWAP gate can be generated by this scheme. We revisit the harmonic approximation (HA) for a large Josephson junction interacting with some charge qubits through the variational approach for the quantum dynamics of the junction-qubit coupling system. By making use of numerical calculation and analytical treatment, the conditions under which HA works well can be precisely presented to control the parameters implementing the two-qubit quantum logical gate through the couplings to the large junction with harmonic oscillator Hamiltonian.  相似文献

We revisit a theoretical scheme to create quantum entanglement of two three-level superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) with the help of an auxiliary SQUID. In this scenario, two three-level systems are coupled to a quantized cavity field and a classical external field and thus form dark states. The quantum entanglement can be produced by a quantum measurement on the auxiliary SQUID. Our investigation emphasizes the quantum effect of the auxiliary SQUID. For the experimental feasibility and accessibility of the scheme, we calculate the time evolution of the whole system including the auxiliary SQUID. To ensure the efficiency of generating quantum entanglement, relations between the measurement time and dominate parameters of the system are analyzed according to detailed calculations.  相似文献

对比研究了处于热库中的两量子比特的量子纠缠和量子关联随时间的演化。数值模拟的结果表明,尽管热库几乎总能诱导两量子比特的量子纠缠与量子关联,但二者的动力学演化并不完全相同。在与热库的相互作用中,两比特初始形成量子纠缠,随后纠缠逐渐消失,两比特形成纠缠以外的量子关联并得到维持。由此看出,相比于量子纠缠,量子关联对消相干的影响表现得更为稳健。  相似文献

A system consisting of two qubits and a resonator is considered in the presence of different sources of noise, bringing to light the possibility of making the two qubits evolve in a synchronized way. A direct qubit–qubit interaction turns out to be a crucial ingredient, as well as the dissipation processes involving the resonator. Via the Hamilton dynamical approach we have constructed Hamiltonian for the mutual inductance coupling magnetic flux qubits. The entangled state representation is used to propose Cooper-pair number-phase quantization and the Hamiltonian operator for the whole system. The dynamical evolution of the phase difference operator and the Cooper-pairs number operator is investigated by virtue of Heisenberg equations. We revisit the protocols to create maximally entangled states between two Josephson junction (33) charge phase qubits coupled to a microwave field in a cavity as a quantum data bus. We analyze a novel mechanism of quantum decoherence due to the adiabatic entanglement between qubits and the data bus, the off-resonance microwave field. We show that even if the variable of the data bus can be adiabatically eliminated, the entanglement between the qubits and data bus remains and can decohere the superposition of two-particle state. Fortunately we can construct a decoherencefree subspace of two-dimension to against this adiabatic decoherence. To carry out the analytic study for this decoherence problem, we develop Frohlich transformation to re-derive the effective Hamiltonian of these systems, which is equivalent to that obtained from the adiabatic elimination approach.  相似文献

Two charge qubits being coupled to a damped cavity with different couplings are considered. The dynamical evolution of the entanglement between the two qubits is demonstrated analytically or numerically. It is found that with the cavity dissipation, the steady entanglement between the two qubits can be achieved. The two qubits being initially in the separable and most mixed state can be easily induced to a steady entangled state, and the relative difference of the couplings can be used to enhance the steady entanglement between the two charge qubits.  相似文献

The continuous-variable (CV) entanglement between two mesoscopic Josephson junctions is studied and the time-dependent characteristic function in Wigner representation for the Josephson junction subsystem driven by a singlemode thermal field is analytically obtained. It is found that an initial lowest energy state of the junction subsystem can evolve into a two-mode entangled Gaussian state through the interaction with the thermal radiation field. Furthermore, we investigate the influence of the temperature on the entanglement of the junctions and find that the CV entanglement of the two junctions shows the critical behavior with respect to the temperature.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement dynamics of a two-spin-qubit system coupled to a spin environment with nonuniform coupling through using the time-dependent density-matrix renormalization group method. We show that the entanglement generation and decay depend on the number of environment spins, the coupling strength between the central spin system and the environment, and the initial state of the central spin system.  相似文献

Measurements indicating that planar networks of superconductive islands connected by Josephson junctions display long-range quantum coherence are reported. The networks consist of superconducting islands connected by Josephson junctions and have a tree-like topological structure containing no loops. Enhancements of superconductive gaps over specific branches of the networks and sharp increases in pair currents are the main signatures of the coherent states. In order to unambiguously attribute the observed effects to branches being embedded in the networks, comparisons with geometrically equivalent—but isolated—counterparts are reported. Tuning the Josephson coupling energy by an external magnetic field generates increases in the Josephson currents, along the above-mentioned specific branches, which follow a functional dependence typical of phase transitions. Results are presented for double comb and star geometry networks, and in both cases, the observed effects provide positive quantitative evidence of the predictions of existing theoretical models.  相似文献

The dynamics of quantum discord for two qubits independently interacting with dephasing reservoirs have been studied recently.The authors [Phys.Rev.A 88(2013) 034304] found that for some Bell-diagonal states(BDS)which interact with their environments the calculation of quantum discord could experience a sudden transition in its dynamics,this phenomenon is known as the sudden change.Here in the present paper,we analyze the dynamics of normal quantum discord and super quantum discord for tripartite Bell-diagonal states independently interacting with dephasing reservoirs.Then,we find that basis change does not necessary mean sudden change of quantum correlations.  相似文献
