The interaction of $N$ two-level atoms with both a two-mode cavity
field and an external classical pumping field, and with the fields being
degenerate in frequency, is studied in the regime where the atoms
and fields are highly detuned. This dispersive interaction
can be used to generate a large number of important entangled coherent states
conditional on the initial atomic states and state-selective measurements.
A dynamical relation is established between the results for the case with continuous
pumping and the case without external driving where the coherent field is

We study the nonlocality dynamics for two models of atoms in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED); the first model contains atoms in a single cavity undergoing nearest-neighbor interactions with no initial correlation, and the second contains atoms confined in n different and noninteracting cavities, all of which were initially prepared in a maximally correlated state of n qubits corresponding to the atomic degrees of freedom. The nonlocality evolution of the states in the second model shows that the corresponding maximal violation of a multipartite Bell inequality exhibits revivals at precise times, defining, nonlocality sudden deaths and nonlocality sudden rebirths, in analogy with entanglement. These quantum correlations are provided analytically for the second model to make the study more thorough. Differences in the first model regarding whether the array of atoms inside the cavity is arranged in a periodic or open fashion are crucial to the generation or redistribution of quantum correlations. This contribution paves the way to using the nonlocality multipartite correlation measure for describing the collective complex behavior displayed by slightly interacting cavity QED arrays. 相似文献

An experimentally feasible scheme for implementing
four-atom quantum dense coding of an atom--cavity system
is proposed. The cavity is only virtually excited and no quantum information will be
transferred from the atoms to the cavity. Thus the scheme is
insensitive to cavity decay and the thermal field. In the
scheme, Alice can send faithfully 4 bits of classical information to
Bob by sending two qubits. Generalized Bell states can be exactly
distinguished by detecting the atomic state, and quantum dense

In this paper we propose a scheme for transferring quantum states andpreparing quantum networks. Compared with the previous schemes, this scheme is more efficient, since three or four-dimensional quantum states can be transferred with a single step and information interchange of three-dimensional quantum states can be realized, which is a significant improvement. It is based on the resonant interaction of a three-mode cavityfield with an atom. As a consequence, the interaction time is shortenedgreatly. This paper proposes a simple scheme to generate a
four-atom entangled cluster state in cavity quantum electrodynamics.
With the assistantce of a strong classical field the cavity is only
virtually excited and no quantum information will be transferred
from the atoms to the cavity during the preparation for a four-atom
entangled cluster state, and thus the scheme is insensitive to the
cavity field states and cavity decay. Assuming that deviation of
laser intensity is 0.01 and that of simultaneity for the interaction
is 0.01, it shows that the fidelity of the resulting four-atom
entangled cluster state is about 0.9886. The scheme can also be
used to generate a four-ion entangled cluster state in a hot
trapped-ion system. Assuming that deviation of laser intensity is
0.01, it shows that the fidelity of the resulting four-ion entangled
cluster state is about 0.9990. Experimental feasibility for

We propose an approach to detect an unknown quantum state of the atom(s) by measuring the phase shifts of the transmitted photons through a dispersively-coupled cavity. In the framework of the input-output theory, we derive the relations between the phase shifts of the transmitted photons and the states of the atom(s) in the cavity. It is shown that due to the dispersive interaction between the cavity and the atom(s), information about the atomic state can then be extracted by measuring the phase shifts of the transmitted photons through the cavity. We propose a scheme for the teleportation of an arbitrary two-atom state by using two pairs of two-atom nonmaximally entangled states as the quantum channel in cavity QED. It is Shown that no matter whether the arbitrary two-atom pure state to be teleported is entangled or not, our teleportation scheme can always be probabilistically realized. An alternative scheme is proposed to transfer quantum states and prepare a quantum network in cavity QED. It is based on the interaction of a two-mode cavity field with a three-level V-type atom. In the scheme, the atom-cavity field interaction is resonant, thus the time required to complete the quantum state transfer process is greatly shortened, which is very important in view of decoherence. Moreover, the present scheme does not require one mode of the cavities to be initially prepared in one-photon state, thus it is more experimentally feasible than the previous ones. 相似文献
