与传统的相干激光光束的评价不同,对部分相干光束质量进行评价时,不仅要反映其远场发散特性,而且还要能体现光源本身的部分相干性。根据部分相干光的相干模表示法,推导了由部分相干光源所产生光束的相位一空间积Q。与前人在相干光源情形下得到的结论相比,得出的相位一空简积Q不仅包含各个全相干模基元线性组合的贡献,而且还有来自不同的全相干模基元之间相互作用的贡献。  相似文献

The propagation performance of high-power partially coherent fibre laser beams in a real environment is investigated and the theoretical model of a high-power fibre laser propagating in a real environment is established. The influence of a collimating system and thermal blooming is considered together with atmospheric turbulence and mechanical jitter. The laser energy concentration of partially coherent beams in the far field is calculated and analysed based on the theoretical model. It is shown that the propagation performance of partially coherent beams depends on the collimating system, atmospheric turbulence, mechanical jitter and thermal blooming. The propagation performance of partially coherent beams and fully coherent beams is studied and the results show that partially coherent beams are less sensitive to the influence of thermal blooming, which results in that the energy degeneration for partially coherent beams is only 50% of that for fully coherent beams. Both partially coherent beams and fully coherent beams become less sensitive to thermal blooming when the average structural constant of the refraction index fluctuations increases to 1.7 × 10-14 m-2/3. The investigation presents a reference for applications of a high-power fibre laser system.  相似文献

An alternative theoretical model called circular partially coherent flattened Gaussian beam (FGB) is developed to describe a circular partially coherent beam with a flat-topped spatial profile. Explicit expression for the propagation factor of a circular partially coherent FGB is derived. We drive the analytical formulae for the cross-spectral density and mean-squared beam width of a circular partially coherent FGB propagating through a paraxial ABCD optical system based on the generalized Collins formula. The intensity, spreading and directionality properties of a circular partially coherent FGB propagating in free space are studied as numerical examples. The propagation properties of a circular partially coherent FGB agree well with those of a partially coherent flat-topped beam reported in the literature. Thus, our model provides an alternative but reliable model for describing a circular partially coherent beam with flat-topped profile.  相似文献

分析了增光子二模纠缠相干态的纠缠特性,得到共生纠缠度的解析表示式.结果表明:增光子二模纠缠相干态的共生纠缠度与叠加态的相位有非常灵敏的关系.提出了一种制备增光子相干态和增光子二模纠缠相干态的方法,其制备过程为首先把增光子相干态转化为相干态与真空态一种特殊的叠加态(叠加系数与相干态振幅有关),再通过位于高Q腔内的原子与经典激光场的相互作用,从而实现增光子相干态的制备.通过一个飞行原子先后与两个光腔中光场相互作用可以实现增光子二模纠缠相干态的制备.  相似文献

Reviewing the ideas developed in [1], the ground state life time of a finite size atomic Bose Einstein condensate is studied for coherent, squeezed coherent and thermal coherent ground states. Ground state evolution of coherent and squeezed coherent states in a double well potential is studied. Effects of thin spectrum on Bose-Einstein condensates is discussed and quasiparticle excitation lifetimes are calculated. It is shown that the effect of the states we use on the free energy vanishes in the thermodynamic limit. Possible extension to a double well potential and effect of a second broken symmetry is also discussed.  相似文献

We investigate the quantum entanglement and supercurrent of coupling superconducting qubits in circuit QED system. We compare the effect of the relative phase of the coupling qubits on the concurrence and supercurrent when the microwave field is initially in coherent state, even coherent state and odd coherent state. The results show that entanglement death can be avoided via manipulating the relative phase only in the coherent state since the improvement for entanglement death is unsatisfactory in the even coherent state and odd coherent state.  相似文献

The propagation of a radially polarized partially coherent beam through an optical system in turbulent atmosphere is investigated. Analytical propagation formulae for the radially polarized partially coherent beam through an optical system in turbulent atmosphere are derived, and some analyses are illustrated by numerical examples related to propagation properties of the radially polarized partially coherent beam through a double-lens system in turbulent atmosphere. It is shown that the optical system, structure constant of turbulent atmosphere and the initial coherent length have significant influence on intensity, degree of polarization and degree of coherence for radially polarized partially coherent beam.  相似文献

相较于相干光束,部分相干光束经过湍流大气传输能够有效地抑制湍流引起的光束展宽、光斑漂移及光强闪烁等扰动效应,在自由空间光通信、激光雷达和激光遥感等方面有重要的应用前景.近年来,部分相干光束湍流大气传输研究受到越来越多学者的关注.本文回顾了部分相干光束在湍流大气中传输特性研究的发展历程、理论基础及常用的理论方法,介绍了处理光束经过湍流大气传输的相位屏数值模拟方法,以及如何把该方法运用到处理部分相干光束传输.  相似文献

Michelson腔技术是实现激光相干合成的有效方案. 利用Michelson腔技术, 实现了全光纤结构下的两路光纤激光器的相干合成, 获得了功率为11.75 W, 效率为95.76%的相干输出. 实验研究了相干合成效率与激光腔长差的关系以及抽运对称性对相干合成效率的影响. 实验表明相干合成效率极易受激光腔长差的影响, 不同腔长差下相干合成效率差异可达18%以上, 且存在最佳腔长差; 抽运对称性对相干合成效率的影响在2%以内.  相似文献

Elegant Hermite–Gaussian beams (EHGBs) are extended to the partially coherent case. An explicit and analytical formula is derived for the cross-spectral density of a partially coherent EHGB propagating through an aligned or misaligned paraxial ABCD optical system. The propagation properties of a partially coherent EHGB in free space and its focusing properties through a thin lens are studied numerically, and are compared to those of a partially coherent standard Hermite–Gaussian beam (SHGB). It is found that the propagation and focusing properties of a partially coherent EHGB are closely related to its initial coherence. A partially coherent EHGB spreads slower than a partially coherent SHGB in free-space propagation. A partially coherent EHGB can be focused more tightly than a partially coherent SHGB.  相似文献

In the scheme an atomic sample interacts with a slightly detuned cavity mode and a resonant strong classical field. A scheme is presented for generating a four-photon coherent state via the degenerate Raman interaction. The scheme does not need classical fields to manipulate the atoms. Its another advantage is that the atomic spontaneous emission can be neglected. Therefore, the coherence of the system may be better maintained. The scheme can be generalized to generate superposition of 2n coherent states and superposition of 2n two-mode coherent states. The concept of coherent and incoherent combinations of partially coherent beams is described and interpreted physically. Taking the Gaussian Schell-model (GSM) beam as a typical example of a partially coherent beam, the analytical propagation expressions for the coherent and incoherent combinations of GSM beams beyond the paraxial approximation are derived and illustrated numerically. The coherence transformation and distillation for a class of special mixed coherent states of rank-2 under incoherent operations (IO) is discussed. Similar to the entanglement transformation for mixed entangled states, the catalytic coherence transformation for this class of special mixed coherent states is analyzed. On the one hand, it is found that some of the mixed coherent states can be converted into other mixed coherent states under IO. But for those mixed coherent states which fail in the coherence conversion under IO, the catalytic coherence manipulation can solve this problem. In this case, a mixed coherent state cannot be converted into another under IO, while the coherence transformation can be realized with the help of coherence-assisted incoherent operations, that is, catalytic coherence transformation. On the other hand, these special mixed coherent states can be distilled into the maximally pure coherent states or mixed states of arbitrary dimensions by strictly incoherent operations with certain probabilities. Finally, the coherence transformation of this type of mixed states can be generalized to the case of higher rank in a similar way, which is discussed at the end of this paper.  相似文献
