We review the tachyon model derived from the dynamics of a 3-brane moving in the AdS5 bulk. The bulk geometry is based on the Randall-Sundrum II model extended to include the radion. The effective tachyon Lagrangian is modified due to the back-reaction of the brane on the bulk geometry.  相似文献

We study quantities which are important for the realization of the holographic principle in the AdS/CFT correspondence: boundaries, geodesics and the propagators of scalar fields. They should play a role in the holographic setup in the BMN limit as well. We review the backgrounds and their relations that are relevant in the AdS/CFT correspondence and in its BMN limit. We describe the realization of the holographic principle in the AdS/CFT correspondence and summarize proposals of how to translate it in the BMN limit. We analyze the boundaries, geodesics and propagators of scalar fields in detail and observe how they behave in the limiting process from AdS5×S5 to the 10‐dimensional plane wave, which is the spacetime in the BMN limit.  相似文献

常规的近场声全息均是采用全息面声压或质点振速作为输入量求解,由于采用单一输入量无法分离来自全息面背向声波的干扰,因此要求所有声源均位于全息面的同一侧,即测量声场为自由声场,这种要求大大限制了近场声全息的实际应用.基于声压-速度测量的近场声全息以全息面上声压和质点振速同时作为输入量,通过建立和求解两侧声源在全息面上的声压和质点振速耦合关系,可以实现全息面两侧声波的分离,从而解决上述问题.文中在前期对声场分离技术研究的基础上,基于欧拉公式和有限差分近似,推导了新的基于声压-速度测量的平面近场声全息理论公式.随后通过实验检验了该方法在有背景源干扰情况下实现声场分离和重建的有效性.  相似文献

We review the relation between AdS spacetime in 1 $+$ 2 dimensions and the BTZ black hole (BTZbh). Later we show that a ground state in AdS spacetime becomes a thermal state in the BTZbh. We show that this is true in the bulk and in the boundary of AdS spacetime. The existence of this thermal state is tantamount to say that the Unruh effect exists in AdS spacetime and becomes the Hawking effect for an eternal BTZbh. In order to make this we use the correspondence introduced in algebraic holography between algebras of quasi-local observables associated to wedges and double cones regions in the bulk of AdS spacetime and its conformal boundary respectively. Also we give the real scalar quantum field as a concrete heuristic realization of this formalism.  相似文献

The technique of off-axis electron holography is introduced and reviewed. The history of the topic is discussed briefly looking at the origin of electron holography and the reasons for its growth in recent years around the world. The formation and numerical reconstruction of the hologram is discussed in detail on a theoretical and practical level. The spread of holography is illustrated through a number of applications ranging from ultra high resolution studies of crystal structures, the imaging of magnetic and electric fields, the determination of sample composition and morphology and the use of holography for imaging biological specimens.  相似文献

We show that p-forms on AdS2p+1 describe both singletons and massless particles. On the 2p-dimensional boundary the singleton p-form Lagrangian reduces to the conformally invariant functional F2. All the representations, singletons as well as massless, are zero center modules and involve a vacuum mode. Two- and three-form singleton fields are required by supersymmetry in AdS5 and AdS7 supergravity, respectively.  相似文献

We consider the refinement of the holographic entanglement entropy for the holographic dual theories to the AdS solitons and AdS black holes, including the corrected ones by the Gauss–Bonnet term. The refinement is obtained by extracting the UV-independent piece of the holographic entanglement entropy, the so-called renormalized entanglement entropy which is independent of the choices of UV cutoff. Our main results are: (i) the renormalized entanglement entropies of the AdSd+1AdSd+1 soliton for d=4,5d=4,5 are neither monotonically decreasing along the RG flow nor positive-definite, especially around the deconfinement/confinement phase transition; (ii) there is no topological entanglement entropy for AdS5 soliton even with Gauss–Bonnet correction; (iii) for the AdS black holes, the renormalized entanglement entropy obeys an expected volume law at IR regime, and the transition between UV and IR regimes is a smooth crossover even with Gauss–Bonnet correction; (iv) based on AdS/MERA conjecture, we postulate that the IR fixed-point state for the non-extremal AdS soliton is a trivial product state.  相似文献

This paper presents the experimental optical analysis of the crack inside an electronic component. The optical setup is used to carry out multidimensional deformation measurements using digital color holography and the spatial multiplexing of holograms. Since the Fresnel transform method depends on wavelength, a wavelength-dependent-zero-padding algorithm is described and results in a rigorous sizing of each reconstructed monochrome image. The criterion to optimize the parameters is presented and is based on minimizing the widening of the impulse response of the full recording/reconstruction process. The application of the proposed method is illustrated through the analysis of the mechanical deformation of the electronic component, and offers keys to understand its failure mode in industrial conditions.  相似文献

The boundary charge which constitutes the Virasoro algebra in (2- 1)-dirnensional anti-de Sitter gravity is derived by Noether theorem and diffeomorphic invariance. It shows that the boundary charge under discussion recently exhausts all the available independent nontrivial charges.
