We build holographic p-wave conductor(insulator)/superconductor models via the numerical method with a new form of Weyl coupling in five-dimensional Lifshitz gravity, and then investigate how the Weyl coupling parameter γ and the Lifshitz scaling parameter z affect the superconductor models. In the conductor/superconductor model, an increase in the Weyl correction(Lifshitz scaling)enhances(inhibits) the superconductor phase transition. Meanwhile, both the Weyl correction(when the Lifshitz parameter is large enough and fixed) and the Lifshitz scaling suppress the growth of the real part of the conductivity. The Weyl correction used here(CB~2) shows weaker effects on the critical value than the previous Weyl correction(CF~2). In the insulator/superconductor model, larger vaules of the Weyl parameter hinder the formation of condensate. However, in increase in the Lifshitz scaling enhances the appearance of condensate. In addition, the calculation suggests that a competitive relation may exist between the Weyl correction and the Lifshitz scaling. 相似文献

We develop a holographic superconductor in BTZ black hole background with backreactions. We investigate the influence of the backreaction on the condensation of the scalar hair and the dynamics of perturbation in the background spacetime. When the Breitenlohner-Freedman bound is approached, we argue that only one of two possible operators can reflect the real property of the condensation in the holographic superconductor. This argument is supported by the investigation in dynamics. 相似文献

We summarize recent work in which we attempt to make consistent models of LHC physics, from the Pyramid Scheme. The models share much with the NMSSM, in particular, enhanced tree level contributions to the Higgs mass and a preference for small tan??. There are three different singlet fields, and a new strongly coupled gauge theory, so the constraints of perturbative unification are quite different. We outline our general approach to the model, which contains a K?hler potential for three of the low energy fields, which is hard to calculate. Detailed calculations, based on approximations to the K?hler potential, will be presented in a future publication. 相似文献

The z=3 Lifshitz black hole is an exact black hole solution to the new massive gravity in three dimensions. In order to understand this black hole clearly, we perform a dimensional reduction to two-dimensional dilaton gravity by utilizing the circular symmetry. Considering the linear dilaton, we find the same Lifshitz black hole in two dimensions. This implies that all thermodynamic quantities of the z=3 Lifshitz black hole could be obtained from its corresponding black hole in two dimensions. As a result, we derive the temperature, mass, heat capacity, Bekenstein–Hawking entropy, and free energy. 相似文献

We study the charged black hole of hyperbolic horizon with scalar hair (charged Martinez-Troncoso-Zanelli: CMTZ black hole) as a model of analytic hairy black hole for holographic superconductor. For this purpose, we investigate the second order phase transition between CMTZ and hyperbolic Reissner-Nordström-AdS (HRNAdS) black holes. However, this transition unlikely occurs. As an analytic treatment for holographic superconductor, we develop superconductor in the bulk and superfluidity on the boundary using the CMTZ black hole below the critical temperature. The presence of charge destroys the condensates around the zero temperature, which is in accord with the thermodynamic analysis of the CMTZ black hole. 相似文献

In the previous paper we studied the transport coefficients of quark–gluon plasma in finite temperature and finite density in vector and tensor modes. In this paper, we extend it to the scalar modes. We work out the decoupling problem and hydrodynamic analysis for the sound mode in charged AdS black hole and calculate the sound velocity, the charge susceptibility and the electrical conductivity. We find that Einstein relation among the conductivity, the diffusion constant and the susceptibility holds exactly. 相似文献

In this paper, we analytically investigate the noncommutative effects of a charged black hole on holographic superconductors in the probe limit. The effects of charge of the black hole is investigated in our study. Employing the Sturm–Liouville eigenvalue method, the relation between the critical temperature and charge density is analytically investigated. The condensation operator is then computed. It is observed that condensate gets harder to form for large values of charge of the black hole. 相似文献

In this Letter, we study the equation of circular loops with time-dependent tension in the BTZ black hole background. We obtain various cases where cosmic string loops finally collapse to form black holes. Also, we study effect of the BTZ black hole mass and angular momentum on the evolution of cosmic string loops. We find the critical values of initial radii as a limit for the cosmic string loops collapsing to form black holes. 相似文献

The objective of the present work is to highlight the phenomena of strong gravitational lensing and deflection angle for the photon coupling with the Weyl tensor in a Kiselev black hole. Here, we have extended the prior work of Chen and Jing (S. Chen and J. Jing, JCAP, 10: 002 (2015)) for a Schwarzschild black hole to a Kiselev black hole. For this purpose, the equation of motion for the photons coupled to the Weyl tensor, null geodesic, and equation of photon sphere in a Kiselev black hole spacetime have been formulated. It is found that the equation of motion of the photons depends not only on the coupling between the photons and the Weyl tensor, but also on the polarization direction of the photons. There is a critical value of the coupling parameter, \begin{document}$ \alpha$\end{document} ![]()

Hawking radiation of Weyl neutrinos in a rectilinearly non—uniformly accelerating Kinnersley black hole 下载免费PDF全文
The quantum thermal effect of Weyl neutrinos in a rectilinearly non-uniformly accelerating Kinnersley black hole is investigated using the generalized tortoise coordinate transformation. The equations that determine the location, the Hawking temperature of the event horizon and the thermal radiation spectrum of neutrinos are derived. Our results show that the location and the temperature of the event horizon depend not only on the time but also on the angle. 相似文献

It is well known that in general theories of gravity with the diffeomorphism symmetry, the black hole entropy is a Noether charge. But what will happen if the symmetry is explicitly broken? By investigating the covariant first law of black hole mechanics with background fields, we show that the would-be Noether charge still can be identified as the black hole entropy, provided that it is a local quantity on the horizon. Moreover, motivated by the proposal that the cosmological constant behaves as a thermodynamic variable, we allow the non-dynamical background fields to be varied. To illustrate this general formalism, we study a generic static black brane in the massive gravity. Using the first law and the scaling argument, we obtain two Smarr formulas. We show that both of them can be retrieved without relying on the first law, hence providing a self-consistent check of the theory. 相似文献

In this paper,we explore the properties of holographic entanglement entropy(HEE),mutual information(MI) and entanglement of purification(EoP) in holographic Lifshitz theory. These informational quantities exhibit some universal properties of holographic dual field theory. For most configuration parameters and temperatures, these informational quantities change monotonically with the Lifshitz dynamical critical exponent z.However,we also observe some non-monotonic behaviors for these informational quantities in some specific spaces of configuration parameters and temperatures.A particularly interesting phenomenon is that a dome-shaped diagram emerges in the behavior of MI vs z,and correspondingly a trapezoid-shaped profile appears in that of EoP vs z.This means that for some specific configuration parameters and temperatures, the system measured in terms of MI and EoP is entangled only in a certain intermediate range of z. 相似文献
