We consider the singlet Majoron model with softly broken lepton number. This model contains three right-handed neutrinos and a singlet scalar besides the standard model fields. The real part of the singlet scalar develops a vacuum expectation value to generate the lepton number violation for seesaw and leptogenesis. The imaginary part of the singlet scalar becomes a massive pseudo-Majoron to be a dark matter candidate with testability by colliders, direct detection experiments and neutrino observations.  相似文献

Within the framework of an explicit dynamical model, in which we calculate the radiatively-corrected, tree-level potential that sets up inflation, we show that the inflaton can be a significant part of dark matter today. We exhibit potentials with both a maximum and a minimum. Using the calculated position of the potential minimum, and an estimate for fluctuations of the inflaton field in the early universe, we calculate a contribution to the matter energy density of in the present universe, from cold inflatons with mass of about . We show that the inflaton might decay in a specific way, and we calculate a possible lifetime that is several orders of magnitude greater than the present age of the universe. Inflaton decay is related to an interaction which, together with a spontaneous breakdown of CP invariance at a cosmological energy scale, can give rise to a neutrino-antineutrino asymmetry just prior to the time of electroweak symmetry breaking. In models where supersymmetry breaking is communicated into the visible sector via gauge interactions the lightest supersymmetric particle is typically the gravitino which is too light to account for cold dark matter. We point out that the lightest messenger sneutrinos with mass in the range of one to three TeV may serve as cold dark matter over most of the parameter space due to one-loop electroweak radiative corrections. However, in the minimal model this mass range has been excluded by the direct dark matter searches. We propose a solution to this problem by introducing terms that explicitly violate the messenger number. This results in low detection rate for both direct and indirect searches and allows messenger sneutrinos to be a valid dark matter candidate in a wide region of SUSY parameter space.  相似文献

Here we generally prove that the axion as a coherently oscillating scalar field acts as a cold dark matter in nearly all cosmologically relevant scales. The proof is made in the linear perturbation order. Compared with our previous proof based on solutions, here we compare the equations in the axion with the ones in the cold dark matter, thus expanding the valid range of the proof. Deviation from purely pressureless medium appears in very small scale where axion reveals a peculiar equation of state. Our analysis is made in the presence of the cosmological constant, and our conclusions are valid in the presence of other fluid and field components.  相似文献

The hypothesis of friedmons, the particles of mass 1.53 · 10?15 g, as candidates to dark matter particles is presented. Friedmons are stable bicolor lepton structures corresponding to exact symmetry group SU(2), the dual group of electroweak interaction. Similarly to the fact that the nucleon mass is related to the average star mass, the friedmon mass is related to the mass of the Metagalaxy whose metric is close to the de Sitter metric and which can be qualitatively considered as a white hole with an event horizon defined by the cosmological constant.  相似文献

In this work we propose to use leading singularities to obtain the classical pieces of amplitudes of two massive particles whose only interaction is gravitational. Leading singularities are generalizations of unitarity cuts. At one-loop we find that leading singularities obtained by multiple discontinuities in the t-channel contain all the classical information. As the main example, we show how to obtain a compact formula for the fully relativistic classical one-loop contribution to the scattering of two particles with different masses. The non-relativistic limit of the leading singularity agrees with known results in the post-Newtonian expansion. We also compute a variety of higher loop leading singularities including some all-loop families and study some of their properties.  相似文献

If the universe experienced inflation in the early epoch, the number density of the gravitinos is much suppressed. Then gravitinos with a mass of a few hundred keV-100 MeV can be the dark matter on all scales, from spheroidal galaxies to super clusters. It is also discussed that the decay of gravitinos with a mass ⪆ 100 MeV into an axion and an axino will explain why the observed values of the cosmological density parameter are discrepant from unity.  相似文献

Searches for dark matter scattering off nuclei are typically compared assuming that the dark matter?s spin-independent couplings are identical for protons and neutrons. This assumption is neither innocuous nor well motivated. We consider isospin-violating dark matter (IVDM) with one extra parameter, the ratio of neutron to proton couplings, and include the isotope distribution for each detector. For a single choice of the coupling ratio, the DAMA and CoGeNT signals are consistent with each other and with current XENON constraints, and they unambiguously predict near future signals at XENON and CRESST. We provide a quark-level realization of IVDM as WIMPless dark matter that is consistent with all collider and low-energy bounds.  相似文献
