对于非线性Euler方程,提出一类基于完美匹配层(PML)技术的吸收边界条件。首先对线性化的Euler方程设计出PML公式,然后将线性化Euler方程中的通量函数替换成相对应的非线性通量函数,得到非线性的PML方程。考虑到PML方程中包含有一个刚性的源项,文中采用一种隐显Runge-Kutta方法来求解空间半离散后得到的ODE系统。数值实验表明设计的非线性PML吸收边界条件优于传统的特征边界条件。  相似文献

研究三维截断磁化等离子体介质新型完全匹配层(NPML)吸收边界条件(ABC),提出应用于截断色散介质修正的M-NPML,该方法根据NPML坐标变换原理,对麦克斯韦方程中对空间偏导的变量进行坐标拉伸,得到在NPML吸收边界中修正的麦克斯韦方程组.该吸收边界只把对空间偏导的变量进行坐标拉伸,操作简单,避免了PML方法在截断普通介质时采用复杂的场分裂形式,同时比单轴各向异性完全匹配层(UPML)吸收边界截断磁化等离子体介质更加简单,编程复杂度大大降低.算例仿真结果与解析解相符,证实了该算法的有效性.  相似文献

In this paper, unsplit-field Perfectly Matched Layer (PML) formulations are presented for truncating nonlinear dispersive Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) grids. The proposed scheme is based on incorporating the nonlinear Z-transform FDTD algorithm into the Auxiliary Differential Equation PML (ADE-PML) formulations. Numerical example carried out in one dimensional domain which includes Lorentz dispersion as well as Kerr and Raman nonlinearities is included to show the validity of the formulations.  相似文献

Unconditionally stable complex envelope (CE) perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary conditions (ABCs) are presented for truncating the scalar wave-equation finite difference time domain (WE-FDTD) grids. The formulations are based on incorporating the alternating direction implicit (ADI) scheme into the CE FDTD implementations of the scalar wave-equation derived in the PML region at the domain boundaries. Numerical example carried out in two dimensional domain shows that the proposed formulations are more accurate than the classical ADI scalar wave equation PML formulations when it is used for modelling band limited electromagnetic applications.  相似文献

基于Berenger完全匹配层的基本思想,导出了高斯单位制下2维完全匹配层吸收介质的控制方程及参数设置方法,并进行了数值验证和参数优化。依据所得结论编制了相应的吸收边界模块加入到2D3V等离子体粒子模拟程序PLASIM中,取得了良好的吸收效果。基于完全匹配层吸收边界的实现,在小窗口内对超强激光预脉冲与低密度等离子体的长时间相互作用过程进行了模拟研究,结果表明:激光强度和作用时间是影响等离子体密度改变的重要因素,超强激光其长时间的预脉冲可以通过有质动力的累积效应在低密度等离子体中引起较大的密度变化。  相似文献

基于拉伸坐标完全匹配层(SC-PML)公式和Z变换方法,提出以非分裂场形式来实现具有多极点的高阶完全匹配层的高效算法,来截断时域有限差分(FDTD)网格.在吸收性能方面,高阶PML同时具有传统PML和复频率偏移完全匹配层(CFS-PML)二者的优点.提供的数值算例是二维TE极化电磁波与无限长且有限宽度的理想电导体(PEC)薄片的相互作用.仿真结果显示,高阶PML公式在衰减低频行波和隐失波及减少后期反射方面效果好,比传统SC-PML和复频率偏移的卷积完全匹配层(CPML)算法有更好的吸收性能.  相似文献

A method based on the approximate wave functions for anisotropic media and the mode-matching approach is developed to solve the problem of the electromagnetic scattering from an anisotropic cylindrical dielectric shell. The cylindrical shell is assumed to be infinite in length, and it is illuminated by a plane wave or a cylindrical wave from a line source. The problem is two-dimensional and the solutions to both types of polarization (TE and TM) are presented. The validity of this solution is verified by comparing the numerical results with those in literatures and the previous calculations based on the exact wave functions for anisotropic media. Numerical results show the higher computational efficiency of the present method for bounded anisotropic media.  相似文献

In this paper, we will present a unified formulation of discontinuous Galerkin method (DGM) for Maxwell's equations in linear dispersive and lossy materials of Debye type and in the artificial perfectly matched layer (PML) regions. An auxiliary differential equation (ADE) method is used to handle the frequency-dependent constitutive relations with the help of auxiliary polarization currents in the computational and PML regions. The numerical flux for the dispersive lossy Maxwell's equations with the auxiliary polarization current variables is derived. With the ultimate goal of devising effective absorbing boundary conditions (ABCs) for general anisotropic media, we investigate the accuracy aspects of local ABCs designed for the scalar anisotropic wave equation in the frequency domain (time harmonic case). The ABC analyzed in this paper is the perfectly matched discrete layers (PMDL). PMDL is a simple variant of perfectly matched layers (PML) and is equivalent to rational approximation-based local ABCs. Specifically, we derive a sufficient condition for PMDL to accurately absorb wave modes with outgoing group velocities and this condition turns out to be a simple bound on the PMDL parameters. The reflection coefficient derived in this paper clearly reveals that the PMDL absorption is based on group velocities, and not phase velocities, and hence a PMDL can be designed to correctly identify and accurately absorb all outgoing wave modes (even those with opposing signs of phase and group velocities). The validity of the sufficient condition is demonstrated through a series of frequency domain simulations. In part 2 of this paper [S. Savadatti, M.N. 应用二维时域有限差分方法分析层状介质中的目标散射时,在总场-散射场边界斜入射平面波源用常规方法难以引入,因为在总场-散射场边界处设置的入射波实际上包含了入射脉冲以及各分层界面的反射和多次反射.为解决这个问题,提出了斜入射平面波的混合引入方式,即对总场-散射场的四个边界面采取不同的处理方式.对于总场-散射场的纵向侧边界,用含有斜入射角度的修正一维时域有限差分方法,只要在自由空间位置加入入射脉冲就会自行产生由各分层界面形成的反射波,包括多次反射.同时,把纵向总场-散射场侧边界向下延伸,使得总场-散射场下边界位于完全匹配层内,这样透射波和散射波均为外向行波而被吸收.对于总场-散射场的上边界,由于完全位于自由空间中,边界上各点的入射波将是总场-散射场纵向边界角点处入射波的带有时间延迟的复制.数值模拟结果表明了本文所提出方法的正确性和有效性. 关键词: 时域有限差分 层状介质 斜入射平面波 修正一维麦克斯韦方程  相似文献

Heat transfer in magnetically confined plasmas is a process characterized by non-linear and extremely high anisotropic diffusion phenomena. Standard numerical methods, successfully employed in the numerical treatment of classical diffusion problems, are generally inefficient, or even prone to break down, when such high anisotropies come into play, leading thus to the need of new numerical techniques suitable for this kind of problems.In the present paper, the authors propose a numerical scheme based on an asymptotic-preserving (AP) reformulation of this non-linear evolution problem, generalizing the ideas introduced in a previous paper for the case of elliptic anisotropic problems [P. Degond, A. Lozinski, J. Narski, C. Negulescu, An asymptotic-preserving method for highly anisotropic elliptic equations based on a micro–macro decomposition, J. Comput. Phys. 231 (7) (2012) 2724–2740]. The performances of the here proposed AP scheme are tested numerically; in particular it is shown that the scheme is capable to deal with problems characterized by a high degree of anisotropy, thus proving to be suitable for the study of anisotropic diffusion in magnetically confined plasmas.  相似文献

For the boundary between transversely isotropic media with a vertical axis of symmetry (VTI media), the interface between a liquid and a VTI medium, and the free-surface of an elastic half-space of a VTI medium, an accurately fast algorithm was presented for calculating reflection/transmission (R/T) coefficients. Specially, the case of post-critical angle incidence was considered. Although we only performed the numerical calculation for the models of the VTI media, the calculated results can be extended to the models of transversely isotropic media with a horizontal axis of rotation symmetry (HTI media). Compared to previous work, this algorithm can be used not only for the calculation of R/T coefficients of the boundary between ellipsoidally anisotropic media, but also for that between generally anisotropic media, and the speed and accuracy of this algorithm are faster and higher. According to the anisotropic parameters of some rocks given by the published literature, we performed the calculation of R/T coefficients by using this algorithm and analyzed the effect of the rock anisotropy on R/T coefficients. We used Snell’s law and the energy balance principle to perform verification for the calculated results. There are both loss and dispersion characteristics for most dielectric media. In quantum theory the loss in medium is generally described by Langevin force in the Langevin noise (LN) scheme by which the quantization of the radiation field in various homogeneous absorbing dielectrics can be successfully actualized. However, it is invalid for the anisotropic dispersion medium. This paper extends the LN theory to an anisotropic dispersion medium and presented the quantization of the radiation field as well as the transformation relation between the homogeneous and anisotropic dispersion media.  相似文献

提出采用局部激励方法产生靶波来消除抑制激发介质中的漂移(和稳定的)螺旋波.通过在系统中任意选择一个格点进行采样,将采样格点信号反馈到系统局部区域可产生一个稳定的靶波.数值计算表明:该方法可以消除均匀和非均匀介质(扩散系数随时间或空间变化)中的螺旋波(稳定旋转的螺旋波和漂移的螺旋波),并且对于时空噪声具有一定的抗干扰性.  相似文献

针对Gedney提出的完全匹配层(PML)无法用于有耗各向同性计算域的截断及其对倏逝波的衰减不理想等问题,提出了一种扩展方法。扩展的PML的主要思想是在各向异性的PML中引入与有耗介质空间相一致的复介电常数和复磁导率,使之可以与有耗介质计算域相匹配。通过给PML的张量介电常数、张量磁导率增加衰减因子以加速倏逝波的衰减。构造了PML吸收效果验证模型,数值结果证明了扩展的PML在处理有耗介质计算域截断问题中的有效性。利用该吸收边界条件,采用时域有限差分法计算了电磁脉冲作用下地面铺设电缆的电磁脉冲响应,计算结果和试验结果取得了较好的一致。  相似文献

为了研究光波导和光子晶体光纤的模式特性和传输特性,从矢量波动方程出发,推导出了各向异性介质中场微分方程复数泛函表达式,利用棱边/节点混合元离散了该泛函,加入了各向异性介质匹配层边界条件,得到关于传播常量的广义特征值方程.以矩形波导为例,对各向异性介质匹配层边界条件的吸收特性进行了研究,得到了基模以及几个高阶模的场分布、色散曲线和损耗曲线.结果表明该方法可靠有效.对正六边形晶格光子晶体光纤进行了分析.数据表明:光纤有效折射率随空气孔直径或波长的增大而减小,但与空气孔圈数无关;光纤限制损耗(confinement loss)随波长增大近似成指数增大,而增加空气孔直径或者空气孔圈数则可使之显著降低.  相似文献
