The thermogravimetry (TG) was used for characterization of the fly ash (FA)-based MCM-41 mesoporous materials. MCM-41 mesoporous materials were synthesized using silica extracts from different FA. The synthesis of MCM-41 from FA was carried out by the hydrothermal method using the supernatants of coal FA (in the form of sodium silicate) and cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) surfactants as the structure-directing agents. On the basis of the data obtained from the TG analysis, thermal behaviour of FA-based MCM-41 mesoporous materials was assessed. This study has established the range of temperatures corresponding to the desorption of water, decomposition of the surfactant and condensation of silanol, thereby making the overall quality assessment of FA-based MCM-41 mesoporous materials.  相似文献

Mesoporous ZSM-5 was prepared from iron ore tailings (IOT) using a two-step process. Mesoporous MCM-41 was first synthesized using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as mesoporous template and IOT as silica source. The CTAB in the as-synthesized MCM-41 was used as the mesoporogen to produce the mesoporous ZSM-5, by recrystallizing the amorphous walls of MCM-41 with tetrapropylammonium bromide (TPABr) as the structure-directing agent via solid-phase conversion. To evaluate the textural properties of mesoporous ZSM-5, the as-synthesized samples were characterized using x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, 29Si, 27Al magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and nitrogen adsorption. The results show that phase separation between the surfactant and zeolite crystals was avoided in the solid-phase conversion process, which transforms the as-synthesized MCM-41 to mesoporous zeolite. Therefore, the synthetic route presented herein provides a novel method for the synthesis of mesoporous ZSM-5 from IOT.

用不同pH值的混合物制备了不同孔径的全硅MCM-41和不同金属离子取代的M-MCM-41(M=Al,Mn,Fe和V)分子筛.这些试样均呈现MCM-41的X射线粉末衍射特征峰和Ⅳ型氮气吸附等温线,但混有不同含量的无定形氧化硅.样品中MCM-41晶体的含量与溶胶的pH值和所用表面活性剂的碳链链长有关.骨架硅的金属离子取代降低了MCM-41的有序度,并且(100)面衍射峰强度从Al到V依次减弱.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to determine the activation energy for the thermal decomposition of poly(ethylene terephthalate)—PET, in the presence of a MCM-41 mesoporous catalyst. This material was synthesized by the hydrothermal method, using cetyltrimethylammonium as template. The PET sample has been submitted to thermal degradation alone and in presence of MCM-41 catalyst at a concentration of 25% in mass (MCM-41/PET). The degradation process was evaluated by thermogravimetry, at temperature range from 350 to 500 °C, under nitrogen atmosphere, with heating rates of 5, 10 and 25 °C min?1. From TG, the activation energy, determined using the Flynn–Wall kinetic method, decreased from 231 kJ mol?1, for the pure polymer (PET), to 195 kJ mol?1, in the presence of the material (MCM-41/PET), showing the catalyst efficiency for the polymer decomposition process.  相似文献

Molecular sieves MCM-41 were synthesized from rice husk ash (RHA) as alternative sources of silica, called RHA MCM-41. The material was synthesized by a hydrothermal method from a gel with the molar composition 1.00 CTMABr:4.00 SiO2:1.00 Na2O:200.00 H2O at 100 °C for 120 h with pH correction. The cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTMABr) was used as a structure template. The material was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, FTIR, TG/DTG, and surface area determination by the BET method. The kinetics models proposed by Ozawa, Flynn–Wall, and Vyazovkin were used to determine the apparent activation energy for CTMA+ species decomposition from the pores of MCM-41 material. The results were compared with those obtained from the MCM-41 synthesized with silica gel. The synthesized material had specific surface area, size, and pore volume as specified by mesoporous materials developed from conventional sources of silica.  相似文献

A series of samples of MCM-41 silica was synthesized using surfactant blends of 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium and alkyltrimethylammonium salts or blends of two different 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium salts (alkyl denotes octyl or hexadecyl) as structure-directing agents. The precipitation of solid particles from a homogeneous water solution of sodium metasilicate and surfactant blend was achieved by lowering the pH due to the hydrolysis of ethyl acetate added. The molecular sieves were characterized by scanning as well as transmission electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, and nitrogen adsorption using a proper nonlocal density functional theory approach for calculations of the textural parameters. All the prepared silicas were of MCM-41-type; they differ in the integral breadth of the pore size distribution curve and the presence of secondary mesopores. The best quality MCM-41 silica of spherical particle morphology was synthesized by using of optimized blend of hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide and 1-methyl-3-octylimidazolium chloride. The results obtained showed that spherical particles are composed of domains of perfectly ordered hexagonal porous structure. Some samples prepared by using 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium salts featured a narrow pore size distribution. However, they contained a small volume of secondary mesopores.  相似文献

辅助有机胺对介孔分子筛MCM-41合成及其性质的影响   总被引:3,自引:5,他引:3  
采用阳离子表面活性剂十六烷基三甲基溴化铵为模板剂、硫酸铝为铝源、硅溶胶为硅源,分别使用中等链长的有机胺和正己烷作为辅助添加剂,用水热晶化法在碱性介质中合成了介孔分子筛MCM-41,通过XRD、N2吸附-脱附、SEM测试手段对得到的样品进行了对比表征分析。实验结果表明,除三乙胺外,向反应体系中加入适量的三正丙胺、三正丁基胺、三正辛胺和二异丁胺后,均能够使介孔 MCM-41的d100值和孔径增大,且具有较大的BET表面积(>1 000 m2/g)和孔容(>1 cm3/g);加入正己烷后,也可以使得MCM-41孔径变大,但是和加入有机胺相比较,合成的样品具有较小的BET表面积(887.3 m2/g)和孔容(0.81 cm3/g)。  相似文献

Thermal evacuation of a surfactant template from pure siliceous MCM-41 and MCM-41 containing aluminium in hydrogen flow was investigated. Micelle templated MCM-41 were prepared using hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The products of thermal surfactant degradation outside and inside pores were identified at various temperatures using 13C solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometer (GC-MS) and temperature programmed desorption coupled with mass spectrometer (TPD-MS). The GC-MS and 13C MAS NMR results obtained from this study provide an insight into the mechanism of surfactant transformation during MCM-41 synthesis on molecular level.  相似文献

A series of vanadoaluminosilicate MCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieves with various compositions have been hydrothermally synthesized. Hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide was used as a surfactant in the synthesis. The samples were characterized with nitrogen sorption, X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier transform-Infrared spectroscopy, UV-visible spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and solid state NMR. The solid products had the MCM-41 structure and contained only atomically dispersed vanadium and aluminum consistent with framework vanadium and aluminum. The samples were hydrophobic and contained large amount of surfactant in the as-synthesized samples. The surfactant could be removed upon calcination at 450°C. N2 sorption measurements and TEM demonstrate the high mesoporosity of [V, Al]-MCM-41. The incorporation of vanadium and aluminum into MCM-41 decreased the surface area to some extent. The morphologies of all the samples were the agglomerate of plates. 29Si MAS NMR shows that the pore wall is amorphous. 27Al MAS NMR shows that all of aluminum species were tetrahedrally coordinated even after calcination at 550°C.  相似文献

以羧甲基纤维素和十六烷基三甲基溴化铵为双模板,制备出了具有更高稳定性并且具有高度有序二维六方结构的MCM-41介孔分子筛.透射电镜和X射线衍射结果表明,以双模板制备的MCM-41介孔分子筛具有高度有序的二维六方(p6mm)孔道结构.此外,以双模板制备的MCM-41介孔分子筛焙烧前后的X射线衍射结果表明,在焙烧过程中其晶胞收缩比例为3.1%.与以纯表面活性剂为模版制备的MCM-41介孔分子筛(晶胞收缩比例为9.7%)相比,双模板制备的MCM-41介孔分子筛具有更高的稳定性能. MCM-41介孔分子筛稳定性能的提高可能是由于在硅物种、表面活性剂以及羧甲基纤维素在自组装过程中,羧甲基纤维素表面丰富的羟基与硅物种Si-(OH)x的相互作用促进了Si-(OH)x的缩聚.  相似文献

以十六烷基三甲基溴化铵为模板剂,硅酸钠为硅源,铝酸钠为铝源,在水热条件下成功地合成出了MCM-41中孔硅酸盐材料。采用XRD、低温N2吸附脱附等测试手段对合成的MCM-41样品进行了表征。通过优化合成条件,合成出孔径3.2 nm、比表面904m2/g和孔壁厚约1.46 nm的MCM-41分子筛。催化活性测定采用微反应活性实验来评价其活性和选择性。  相似文献

This paper reports the (13)C NMR characterization of functionalized MCM-41's and describes the chemistry that occurs in the pores of these materials in the process of forming gold nanoparticles. Nanoparticles formed on hexagonal mesoporous silica (MCM-41) by hydrogen reduction of chloroauric acid have little affinity for pure silica surfaces. The gold can be removed from the support with very mild treatment, for example, solvent extraction. The loss of gold from the substrate can be prevented using a pore functionalization methodology that entails synthesis of the silica containing polydentate amine functionality chemically bound in the mesopores. The synthetic scheme introduces solvents and templating reagents (surfactants) into the mesopores that are chemically reactive under the conditions required for gold particle formation. Extensive base-catalyzed elimination and nucleophilic substitution reactions involving the tetraalkylammonium surfactant occur during the reduction of chloroauric acid to gold.  相似文献

The polarity of an MCM-41 adsorbent surface and organosilylated composites based on it with grafted trimethylsilane and dimethylphenylsilane groups is studied via inverse gas chromatography at infinite dilution. The dispersion and specific components of the value proportional to the Helmholtz adsorption energy are calculated, and a comparative analysis of the surface polarity of MCM-41 and its modified analogs relative to the commercially available C-120 silica gel is performed. The electrostatic and donor–acceptor components of the specific Helmholtz adsorption energy are calculated through linear decomposition of the adsorption energy. It is established that MCM-41 is less polar than C-120. The modification of the initial adsorbent surface leads to a reduction in polarity, due mainly to the weakening of induction and orientation interactions. It is concluded that the surfaces of the modified samples retain the ability to form hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

MCM-41 material was synthesized starting from hydrogel containing colloidal fumed silica, sodium silicate, cetyltetramethylammonium bromide(CTMABr) as surfactant, and distilled water as solvent. These reactants were mixed to obtain a gel with the following composition: 4SiO2:1Na2O:1CTMABr:200H2O. The hydrogel with pH=14 was hydrothermally treated at100°C, for 4 days. Each day, the pH was measured, and then adjusted to 9.5–10 by using 30%acetic acid solution. Thermogravimetry was the main technique, which was used to monitor the participation of the surfactant on the MCM-41 nanophase, being possible to determine the temperature ranges relative to water desorption as well as the surfactant decomposition and silanol condensation. Hexagonally ordered mesoporous silica material MCM-41 (SBET?=?1090?m2/g, pore size?=?31.2 ?) was synthesized and modified by 3-aminopropyl ligands. The differences in an uptake and subsequent release of anti-inflammatory drug naproxen from unmodified and amino modified MCM-41 samples were studied. The prepared materials were characterized by high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nitrogen adsorption/desorption, Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), thermoanalytical methods (TG/DTA) and elemental analysis. The amount of the drug released was monitored with thin layer chromatography (TLC) with densitometric detection in defined time intervals. The amounts of the released naproxen from mesoporous silica MCM-41/napro and amine-modified silica sample A-MCM-41/napro were 95 and 90% of naproxen after 72?h. In this study we compare the differences of release profiles from mesoporous silica MCM-41 and mesoporous silica SBA-15.  相似文献

A series of vanadosilicate V-MCM-41 mesoporous materials with various compositions have been synthesized using vanadium sulfate as the source of vanadium. Hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide was used as a surfactant in the synthesis. The samples were characterized with nitrogen sorption, X-ray diffraction, framework FTIR, diffuse reflectance UV-visible spectroscopy, differential thermal analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The results show that the solid products had the MCM-41 structure and contained only atomically dispersed vanadium consistent with framework vanadium in V-MCM-41. N2 sorption measurements and TEM demonstrated the high mesoporosity of V-MCM-41. The incorporation of vanadium into MCM-41 decreased the surface area to some extent. The morphology of V-MCM-41 was plate with stepped and smooth surfaces. TEM reveals a regular hexagonal array of uniform channels with curved and rectilinear morphologies. The hexagonal array structure of uniform pore size was observed by TEM. It is proved that the pores were highly aligned.  相似文献

Template transformation in MCM-41 material during thermal treatment under different conditions was investigated on the basis of thermogravimetry (TG-DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS). Micelle templated silica was prepared using C18 trimethylammonium bromide. The pore structure of MCM-41 samples obtained after removal of the surfactant in air, argon flow and vacuum was analyzed on the basis of the adsorption isotherms of nitrogen at 77 K and XRD experiments. The TG-DTA experiments confirm the mechanism of the template removal known from literature. However, the sequence of the processes during thermal treatment of as-synthesized sample and temperature of transformations depended strongly on the presence of oxygen and the heating rate. The main template degradation took place below 573 K and was independent of the kind of atmosphere above the sample. Residual carbonaceous species are removed from pores and the external surface of MCM-41 silica upon heating to 823 K by combustion or evaporation. The latter process as well as translocation of liquid-like products of template degradation from the pore interior to external surface was confirmed by PALS experiment in vacuum.  相似文献
