用7个压电晶体组成传感器阵列,每个晶体上分别涂有不同种类的气相色谱固定液,通过测定各种可燃物质燃烧时放出的混合气体来识别所燃物质,在识别中分别应用了人工神经网络法(ANN)和逐步判别分析法(SDA)。讨论了解决神经网络开始训练时不收敛或产生麻痹现象的方法,提出了训练数据选取的新方法-训练集逐步扩展法,实验证明:人工神经网络对被测物质的识别准确率达100%,高于逐步判别分析法(83%)。  相似文献

In the present study, the nonlinear analysis method was used to evaluate the kinetics and equilibrium for Cd(II) adsorption on crosslinked starch phosphate (SP) from aqueous solution. The pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order and Elovich kinetic models were applied to test the kinetics experimental data, and the pseudo-first-order kinetic model provides a best correlation of the experimental data. Adsorption equilibrium data were fit by Langmuir, Freundlich, Dubinin-Radushkevich, and Sips isotherms. The results show that the data are best described by the Sips isotherms with a maximum adsorption capacity of 2.00 mmol/g. The effects of initial pH, and SP dose on the Cd(II) adsorption were also investigated. The adsorption capacities of Cd(II) on SP increase with the pH increasing from 2.0 to 8.0.  相似文献

The adsorption behavior of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) in reversed-phase chromatography is studied both experimentally and theoretically and a computer simulation of chromatograms is performed on the basis of these studies. The experimental conditions were: different reversed-phase adsorbents and a solvent methanol–water system as the mobile phase. At varying mobile phase compositions highly resolved chromatograms of PEG samples were obtained, in which all peaks could be identified, and the dependencies of the distribution coefficient on the degree of polymerization for PEG molecules were evaluated by processing these chromatograms. The data were interpreted by using a theory of homopolymers based on a continuum Gaussian chain model of flexible macromolecules and a slit-like model of pores of stationary phase. The theory proved to describe well the experimental data in the whole range of studied molecular masses, and the thermodynamic parameters characterizing interactions of ethylene oxide repeating units in PEG molecules with the adsorbent pore walls have been determined from the comparison of the theory with the experimental data. The dispersion of chromatographic peaks corresponding to individual oligomer molecules is also estimated. In the system studied the peak width occurred to be proportional to the distribution coefficient of corresponding macromolecule. The theory is used to develop a computer-assisted procedure for simulation of chromatograms for samples of linear homopolymers. Using the obtained data on the thermodynamic parameters and the estimates of peak dispersion, chromatograms are simulated for PEG samples at two different chromatographic conditions. These simulated chromatograms were in good quantitative agreement with the real chromatograms.  相似文献

MULVADO is a newly developed software package for DOSY NMR data processing, based on multivariate curve resolution (MCR), one of the principal multivariate methods for processing DOSY data. This paper will evaluate this software package by using real-life data of materials used in the printing industry: two data sets from the same ink sample but of different quality. Also a sample of an organic photoconductor and a toner sample are analysed. Compared with the routine DOSY output from monoexponential fitting, one of the single channel algorithms in the commercial Bruker software, MULVADO provides several advantages. The key advantage of MCR is that it overcomes the fluctuation problem (non-consistent diffusion coefficient of the same component). The combination of non-linear regression (NLR) and MCR can yield more accurate resolution of a complex mixture. In addition, the data pre-processing techniques in MULVADO minimise the negative effects of experimental artefacts on the results of the data. In this paper, the challenges for analysing polymer samples and other more complex samples will also be discussed.  相似文献

This critical review represents a concise revision of the different experimental approaches so far followed for the structuration of molecular nanomagnets on surfaces, since the first reports on the field more than ten years ago. Afterwards, a presentation of the different experimental approaches followed for their integration in sensors is described. Such work involves mainly two families of sensors and devices, microSQUIDs sensors and three-terminal devices for single-molecule detection. Finally the last section is devoted to a detailed revision of the different experimental techniques that can be used for the magnetic characterization of these systems on surfaces, ranging from magnetic circular dichroism to magnetic force microscopy. The use of these techniques to characterize other nanostructured magnetic materials, such as nanoparticles, is also revised. The aim is to give a broad overview of the last advances achieved with these techniques and their potential and evolution over the next years.  相似文献

Macromolecular chains obey purely Gaussian statistics close to the theta temperature. An asymptotic regime is also reached far above the theta point. Thermal blob theory permits an approximate calculation of thermal expansion factor. In this theory, an adjustable parameter is used as a prefactor (A*N1) in order to calculate the reduced blob parameter (N/Nc). In this work, we proposed a different approach to evaluate (A*N1) by plotting τMω1/2η5 against τMω1/2. Chain expansion data of poly(4-chlorostyrene) in various solvents is used to evaluate viscosity expansion factors at various temperatures. It seems that predictions of thermal blob theory provide a better fit to experimental points rather than those evaluations based on Flory-type approaches. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

In recent years, electrical sensors toward breath volatolomics have attracted increasing interest owing to their wide feasibility in noninvasive disease diagnostics. In this article, the working principles of active nanomaterials (e.g. metal oxides, polymers, and nanocarbon) toward volatile organic compounds are presented, with a special focus on the influence of surface chemistry and structural feature of these nanomaterials on the sensing performance. The latest and representative achievements on the direct analysis of three typical exhaled volatile organic compounds, including acetone, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide, that are recognized as important disease biomarkers, are highlighted, indicating the capability of the electrical sensors in enabling noninvasive diagnosis and real-time monitoring. The opportunities and challenges in this field are provided in the end, with an emphasis on the background interference and data recognition which are key factors in developing prospective electrical sensors toward volatolomics analysis.  相似文献

The statistical design of experiments (DOE) is a collection of predetermined settings of the process variables of interest, which provides an efficient procedure for planning experiments. Experiments on biological processes typically produce long sequences of successive observations on each experimental unit (plant, animal, bioreactor, fermenter, or flask) in response to several treatments (combination of factors). Cell culture and other biotech-related experiments used to be performed by repeated-measures method of experimental design coupled with different levels of several process factors to investigate dynamic biological process. Data collected from this design can be analyzed by several kinds of general linear model (GLM) statistical methods such as multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), univariate ANOVA (timesplit-plot analysis with randomization restriction), and analysis of orthogonal polynomial contrasts of repeated factor (linear coefficient analysis). Last, regression model was introduced to describe responses over time to the different treatments along with model residual analysis. Statistical analysis of biprocess with repeated measurements can help investigate environmental factors and effects affecting physiological and bioprocesses in analyzing and optimizing biotechnology production.  相似文献

Optical array‐based sensors are attractive candidates for the detection of various bio‐analytes due to their convenient fabrication and measurements. For array‐based sensors, multichannel arrays are more advantageous and used frequently in many electronic sensors. But most reported optically array based sensors are constructed on a single channel array. This difficulty is mainly instigated from the overlap in optical responses. In this report we have used nano‐graphene oxide (nGO) and suitable fluorophores as sensor elements to construct a multichannel sensor array for the detection of protein analytes. By using the optimized multichannel array we are able to detect different proteins and mixtures of proteins with 100 % classification accuracy at sub‐nanomolar concentration. This modified method expedites the sensing analysis as well as minimizes the use of both analyte and sensor elements in array‐based protein sensing. We have also used this system for the single channel array‐based sensing to compare the sensitivity and the efficacy of these two systems for other applications. This work demonstrated an intrinsic trade‐off associated with these two methods which may be necessary to balance for array‐based analyte detections.  相似文献

This paper presents the development of a low-cost MEMS based biomimetic tactile device intended to be incorporated as the core element in a biomimetic fingerpad. The developed silicon based sensing devices consist of an array of capacitive sensors with optimized design to measure force ranges encountered during tactile exploration of surfaces with different textures. As with the biological finger, the sensor array contains sensors of different sensitivity and position/orientation, guaranteeing a high informative content of data obtained from surface-finger interaction. A new method using phase optimized LC (POPLC) for the analysis of steroids is described. The retention factors and the theoretical plate numbers of different steroids were determined for four different stationary phases. Based on these values, an optimal stationary phase composition and the resultant chromatogram have been calculated by an optimization software and compared to the measured data. It is demonstrated that these predicted data show only little differences to the experimental results. Furthermore, it is shown that the overall selectivity of the optimal stationary phase composition is much better than the selectivity of any individual stationary phase.  相似文献

Field-effect transistors (FETs) are one of the most widely-used electronic sensors for continuous monitoring and detection of contaminants such as pharmaceuticals and endocrine-disrupting compounds at low concentrations. FETs have been successfully utilized for the rapid analysis of these environmental pollutants due to their advantageous material properties like the disposability, rapid responses and simplicity. This paper presented an up-to-date overview of applied strategies with different bio-based materials in order to enhance the analytical performances of the designed sensors. Comparison and discussion were made between characteristics of recently engineered FET bio-sensors used for the detection of famous and selected pharmaceutical compounds in the literature. The recent progress in environmental research applications, comments on interesting trends, current challenge for future research in endocrine-disrupting chemicals’ (EDCs) detection using FETs biosensors were highlighted.  相似文献

Magnesium Stearate (MgSt) is a widely used lubricant for preventing tablet compression trouble. It is known that the powder characteristic of MgSt is different among MgSts manufactured by different methods and conditions. These differences affect blending efficiency with pharmaceutical additives. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the physicochemical properties of MgSt by thermal effusivity sensor for in-process monitoring of powder blending. MgSts having different physicochemical properties and granulated sugar spheres were used for model excipients. V-blender was used for powder blending. Thermal effusivity values of each of the ingredients in the blend were measured using one of the sensors prior to placing the ingredient in the blender. The effect of magnesium stearate addition to uniform ingredients can be clearly identified using the sensors. Compared to effusivity data and powder density, effusivity data correlated with the powder characteristics of magnesium stearate. These results suggested that effusivity can be used for end point detection of blending process for various magnesium stearates with sugar sphere. When various magnesium stearates were added to the granule, required time for achieving homogeneous powder blend was different. Blending behavior would be affected by the physicochemical characters. Blend uniformity and blended states of granules containing magnesium stearate can be detected nondestructively without intricate sampling process. Thermal effusivity sensors are an efficient tool to monitor the real time blending behavior of pharmaceutical ingredients.  相似文献

We have measured the self‐diffusion coefficients of a series of oligo‐ and poly(ethylene glycol)s with molecular weights ranging from 150 to 10,000, in aqueous solutions and gels of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA), using the pulsed‐gradient spin‐echo NMR techniques. The PVA concentrations varied from 0 to 0.38 g/mL which ranged from dilute solutions to polymer gels. Effects of the diffusant size and polymer concentration on the self‐diffusion coefficients have been investigated. The temperature dependence of the self‐diffusion coefficients has also been studied for poly(ethylene glycol)s with molecular weights of 600 and 2,000. Several theoretical models based on different physical concepts are used to fit the experimental data. Using a new optical engineering technique for the "fingerprinting" of beverages and other liquids, we study and evaluate a range of features. The features are based on resolution scale, invariant frequency information, entropy, and energy. They allow mixtures of beverages to be very precisely placed in principal component plots used for the data analysis. To show this we make use of data sets resulting from optical/near-infrared and ultrasound sensors. Our liquid "fingerprinting" is a relatively open analysis framework in order to cater for different practical applications, in particular, on one hand, discrimination and best fit between fingerprints, and, on the other hand, more exploratory and open-ended data mining.  相似文献

As labor costs become more expensive, less labor-intensive disposable devices have become more ubiquitous. Similarly, the disposable optical pH sensor developed in our lab could provide a convenient yet cost-effective way for pH sensing in processes that require stringent pH control. This optical pH sensor is prepared in uniform individual lots of 100–200 sensors per lot. Calibration is accomplished on a few randomly selected sensors out of each lot. We show that all others in the same lot can then be used directly without requiring individual calibration. In this paper, a calibration model is derived to include all the factors that affect the signal of the disposable sensor. Experimental results show that the derived calibration model fits the experimental data. The readings of 28 randomly selected disposable sensors with 4 sensors from each of the 7 lots show an error less than 0.1 pH units in the useful sensing range of the sensor. The calibration model indicates that if further improvement on precision is desired, more uniform porous material and more advanced coating techniques will be required. When it comes to the effects of the varying coasters, house-made low-cost fluorometers, the variability in the brightness ratio of the blue-to-violet LEDs is the primary reason for the lack of precision. Other factors like LED light intensity distribution, optical properties of the filters and electronics also contribute to the coaster-to-coaster difference, but to a lesser extent. Two different methods for correcting the instrument variations were introduced. After correction, the collective reading errors for all the tested instruments were reduced to less than 0.2 pH units within the sensor's useful sensing range. Based on this result, our lab is currently implementing further improvements in modifying the coasters to equalize the ratios of blue-to-violet LED brightness.  相似文献
