The composition of alkyl radicals (AR) formed by γ-radiolysis (T=77 K) of polycrystallinen-alkanes with different lengths of the carbon chain (C(5), C(7), C(10), C(11), and C(18)) and their polymeric analog (polyethylene) was estimated from the ESR spectra. The ESR spectra of the irradiatedn-alkanes are superpositions of the signals from the H3CC.HCH2− and −CH2C.HCH2− radicals, whose HFS constants with α and β protons as well as the equilibrium conformation are independent of the chain length of then-alkane molecule. A dependence of the concentration of the radicals on the chain length ofn-alkane was found. The absence of the −CH2C.H2 radicals that may arise upon H atom elimination from the Me fragments of then-alkane molecules is most likely related to the transfer of excitation energy from the Me group to the neighboring methylene fragment and the transformation of the −CH2C.H2 radicals into H3CC.HCH2− radicals. With account for this, the concentrations of the AR formed were suggested to be proportional to the number of H atoms at the corresponding C atom. Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. The possibility of hydrogen transfer from hydrofullerene C60H36 to electrogenerated radical anion C60 .− or dianion C60 2− in propylene carbonate-toluence (3∶2, v/v) was demonstrated by cyclic voltammetry. Quenching of fluorescence of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), namely, naphthalene, anthracene, 9,10-diphenylanthracene, 9,10-dibromoanthracene by C60 fullerene in ethylbenzene at 293 K was found and investigated. The phenomenon is characterized by abnormally high values of bimolecular rate constants for quenching (k bim = (0.18–6.78)·1012 L mol−1 s−1) determined from the Stern—Volmer dependence of the PAH fluorescence intensity on the C60 concentration and occurs through the inductive-resonance (dominant channel) and exchange-resonance (minor channel) energy transfer from 1PAH* to C60. The overlap integrals of the PAH fluorescence spectra with the C60 absorption spectrum and the critical energy transfer distances were calculated. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The heat capacity of crystalline α-platinum dichloride was measured for the first time in the temperature intervals from 11 to 300 K (vacuum adiabatic microcalorimeter) and from 300 to 620 K (differential scanning calorimetry). In the 300–620 K temperature interval, the C° p values for α-PtCl2 (cr) coincide with the heat capacity of CrCl2 (cr) within the limits of experimental error, which made it possible to estimate the heat capacity of α-PtCl2 (cr) at higher temperatures. The approximating equation of the temperature dependence of the heat capacity in the interval from 298 to 900 K C° p (±0.8) = 63.5 + 21.4·10−3 T + 0.883·105/T 2 (J mol−1 K−1) was derived using the experimental values, as well as the literature data on the heat capacity of CrCl2 (cr). For the standard conditions, the C° p,298.15 and S°298.15 values are 70.92±0.08 and 100.9±0.33 J mol−1 K, respectively; H°298.15H°0 = 14 120±42 J mol−1. Heat capacity of methacetin (N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-acetamide) has been measured in the temperature range 5.8–300 K. No anomalies in the C p(T) dependence were observed. Thermodynamic functions were calculated. At 298.15 K, the values of entropy and enthalpy are equal to 243.1 J K−1 mol−1 and 36360 J mol−1, respectively. The heat capacity of methacetin in the temperature range 6–10 K is well fitted by Debye equation C p = AT 3. The thermodynamic data obtained for methacetin are compared with those for the monoclinic and orthorhombic polymorphs of paracetamol.  相似文献

The interaction between the radical anions C60 ·− and divalent d- and f-metal (Co, Fe, Ni, Mn, Eu, Cd) cations in DMF and acetonitrile-benzonitrile (AN-BN) mixture was studied. Black solid polycrystalline salts (C60 ·−)2{(M2+)(DMF) x } (x = 2.4–4, 1–6) containing the radical anions C60 ·− and metal(ii) cations solvated by DMF were prepared for the first time and their optical and magnetic properties were studied. The salts containing Co2+, Fe2+, and Ni2+ are characterized by antiferromagnetic interactions between the radical anions C60 ·−, which result in unusually large broadening of the EPR signal of C60 ·− upon lowering the temperature (from 5.55–12.6 mT at room temperature to 35–40 mT at 6 K for Co2+ and Ni2+). The salts containing Mn2+ and Eu2+ form diamagnetic dimers (C60 )2, which causes a jumpwise decrease in the magnetic moment of the complexes and disappearance of the EPR signal of C60 ·− in the temperature range 210–130 K. A feature of salt 6 is magnetic isolation of the radical anions C60 ·− due to the presence of diamagnetic cation Cd2+. The salts prepared are unstable in air and decompose in o-dichlorobenzene or AN. Reactions of C60 ·− with metal(ii) cations in AN-BN mixture result in decomposition products of the salts that contain neutral fullerene dimers and metals solvated by BN. The possibility of hole formation in the structures of superstoichiometric fluorocarbons is studied. Different geometries are modeled by removing one, two, or six CF groups from the stoichiometric fluorocarbon lattice. The positions of fluorine atoms in the internal CF2 groups are optimized using the semiempirical MNDO method. The quantum chemical calculations of fluorocarbon clusters containing holes of different geometries suggest the preferential formation of six-center hole structures in fluorocarbon lattices. The X-ray emission CKα-spectra of the superstoichiometric CFx (x=1.20 and 1.33) samples are obtained. Based on the cluster calculations, theoretical CKα-spectra of CFx are constructed. A comparison of the theoretical and experimental results shows that the spectra of the superstoichiometric fluorocarbons are characterized by a short-wave maximum, whose intensity increases with x. Heat capacity C p(T) of the orthorhombic polymorph of L-cysteine was measured in the temperature range 6–300 K by adiabatic calorimetry; thermodynamic functions were calculated based on these measurements. At 298.15 K the values of heat capacity, C p; entropy, S m0(T)-S m0(0); difference in the enthalpy, H m0(T)-H m0(0), are equal, respectively, to 144.6±0.3 J K−1 mol−1, 169.0±0.4 J K−1 mol−1 and 24960±50 J mol−1. An anomaly of heat capacity near 70 K was registered as a small, 3–5% height, diffuse ‘jump’ accompanied by the substantial increase in the thermal relaxation time. The shape of the anomaly is sensitive to thermal pre-history of the sample.  相似文献

Chiral C2-symmetrical dialkyl phosphites and C3-symmetrical trialkyl phosphites, derived from (−)-borneol, (−)-menthol, and 1,2∶5,6-di-O-isopropylidene-α-d-glucofuranose, were studied as the starting reagents for the preparation of chiral organophosphorus compounds. The reactions of C2-symmetrical dialkyl phosphites and C3-symmetrical trialkyl phosphites with aldehydes and amines or aldehydes are accompanied by asymmetrical induction at the α-carbon atom to yield optically active α-aminoalkylphosphanates or α-hydroxyalkylphosphonates, respectively. The stereoselectivity of the reaction depends on the structure of the starting compounds and the reaction conditions. Kinetics of thermal decomposition of three structurally similar complexes Co2Cu(C2O4)3 (R-diam)2, where R is ethyl, 1,2-propyl or 1,3-propyl, was studied under non-isothermal conditions and nitrogen dynamic atmosphere at heating rates of 5, 7, 10, 12 and 15 K min−1. For data processing the Flynn-Wall-Ozawa and a modified non-parametric kinetic methods were used. By both methods the activation energy are in the range of 97–102 kJ mol−1. The formal kinetic is r=kα(1−α)2. Also a compensation effect between lnA and E was evidenced. The kinetic analysis lead to the conclusion of an identic decomposition mechanism by a single step process.  相似文献

In the ESR spectra recorded at the beginning of the doping reaction of C60 fullerene by zinc, gallium, and indium vapors, signals corresponding to C60 were observed. In the course of reduction, these signals disappeared and reversibly transformed into the signals of higher charged C60 n− anions. Molecular and electronic structure of four polyhydrogenated (n,0)-tubulenes, namely, [−C24H4−] m (1), two isomers of composition [−C28H4−] m (2 and3), and [−C32H4−] m (4) withn benzene rings in the cross section (n=6, 7, 7, and 8, respectively), was simulated atm>1 (m is the number of repeating fragemnts). It was assumed that hydrogen atoms are attached to all carbon atoms lying on the two most distant elements of the cylinders of the corresponding tubulenes. The energy band structures of macromolecules1–4 and their Li-intercalated analogs [−C24H4Li−] m (5) [−C28H4Li−] m (two isomers,6 and7), and [−C32H4Li−] m (8), containing one Li atom per repeating unit at each center, were obtained in the EHT approximation by the crystal orbital method. Geometric parameters of repeating units of structures1–8 were found after MNDO/PM3 optimization of the energies of hydrocarbon molecules C72H24, C84H26 (two geometric isomers), and C96H28, containing three repeating units of corresponding tubulenes1–4 each. The conductivity types of polyhydrogenated tubulenes1–4 are the same as those of their precursors, (6,0)-, (7,0)-, and (8,0)-tubulenes. Dispersion curves of systems5–8 are much the same as those of macromolecules1–4; however, electron energy spectra of5–8 possess metallic conductivity type and the positions of Fermi levels for these systems are higher than for compounds1–4. Tetrabutylammonium salts of organophosphoryl derivatives of tungstophosphate of formula α-[R2PW9O34]5− [R = PhP(S), C6H11P(O), H2NCH(n-Pr)P(O)] have been prepared, purified and characterized by elemental analysis, i.r., 31P- and 183W-n.m.r. spectroscopy. These anions consist of an α-[PW9O34]9− framework on to which are grafted two equivalent organophosphoryl groups through P–O–W bridges; these new species still retain the ‘unsaturated’ Keggin structure. The five-line 183W spectra indicates that the hybrid anions possess C s symmetry in acetonitrile. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

Ab initio MP2/6-31G*//HF/6-31G*+ZPE(HF/6-31G*) calculations of the potential energy surface in the vicinity of stationary points and the pathways of intramolecular rearrangements between low-lying structures of the OBe3F3 + cation detected in the mass spectra of μ4-Be4O(CF3COO)6 were carried out. Ten stable isomers with di- and tricoordinate oxygen atoms were localized. The relative energies of six structures lie in the range 0–8 kcal mol−1 and those of the remaining four structures lie in the range 20–40 kcal mol−1. Two most favorable isomers, aC 2v isomer with a dicoordinate oxygen atom, planar six-membered cycle, and one terminal fluorine atom and a pyramidalC 3v isomer with a tricoordinate oxygen atom and three bridging fluorine atoms, are almost degenerate in energy. The barriers to rearrangements with the breaking of one fluorine bridge are no higher than 4 kcal mol−1, except for the pyramidalC 3v isomer (∼16 kcal mol−1). On the contrary, rearrangements with the breaking of the O−Be bond occur with overcoming of a high energy barrier (∼24 kcal mol−1). A planarD 3h isomer with a tricoordinate oxygen atom and linear O−Be−H fragments was found to be the most favorable for the OBe3H3 + cation, a hydride analog of the OBe3F3 + ion; the energies of the remaining five isomers are more than 25 kcal mol−1 higher. Fullerenyl radicals (FR) RC60 · and chemiluminescence (CL) are generated in the presence of O2 in C60—R3Al (R = Et, Bui) solutions in toluene (T = 298 K). The FR are formed due to the addition of the R· radical, which is an intermediate of R3Al autooxidation, to C60. Mass spectroscopy and HPLC were used to identify EtnC60Hm (n, m = 1–6), EtpC60 (p = 2–6), and dimer EtC60C60Et as stable products of FR transformations. As found by ESR, the EtC60 · radical (g = 2.0037) is also generated by photolysis of solutions obtained after interaction in the (C60— R3Al)—O2 system. In the presence of dioxygen, the FR is not oxidized but yields complexes with O2, which appear as broadening of the ESR signals. Chemiluminescence arising in the (C60—R3Al)—O2 system is much brighter (I max = 1.86·108 photon s−1 mL−1) than the known background CL (I max = 6.0·106 photon s−1 mL−1) for the autooxidation of R3Al and is localized in a longer-wavelength spectral region (λmax = 617 and 664 nm). This CL is generated as a result of energy transfer from the primary emitter 3CH3CHO* to the products of FR transformation: RnC60Hm, RpC60, and EtC60C60Et. Synchrotron radiation was used to measure the EXAFS and XANES polarization dependences for intercalation compounds of graphite fluoride. An approach is developed which allows one to analyze the orientation of molecules of arbitrary shapes using XANES and EXAFS data. Analyzing the orientation dependences of BrK XANES spectra for the T-shaped BrF3 molecules, we determined possible combinations and admissible ranges of angles between the normal to the graphite fluoride matrix planes and the Br−F bond directions (α=52–90°, β=27–82°) and between the normal to the matrix planes and the molecular planes (γ=27–53°). The average orientation angles obtained by the combined analysis of the EXAFS and XANES data are as follows: α=62±1.5°, β=58±1.5°, γ=45±1.5°. The interatomic distances Br−F, Br−Br, and Fe−Br are determined. It is established that thermal treatment, which recovers the X-ray diffraction pattern from the unfilled matrix, does not affect the predominant orientation of the BrF3 molecules. This suggests that the thermally treated graphite fluoride matrix contains thin layers of ordered molecules. The absence of the polarization dependence of the spectra of FeBr3 in graphite fluoride allows the assumption that the molecular planes are oriented with respect to the normal to the matrix planes at a “magic” angle of 35°. The temperature dependence of the molar heat capacity (C0 p) of hydrofullerene C60H36 between 5 and 340 K was determined by adiabatic vacuum calorimetry with an error of about 0.2%. The experimental data were used for the calculation of the thermodynamic functions of the compound in the range 0 to340 K. It was found that at T=298.15 K and p=101.325 kPa C0 p (298.15)=690.0 J K−1 mol−1,Ho(298.15)−Ho(0)= 84.94 kJ mol−1,So(298.15)=506.8 J K−1 mol−1, Go(298.15)−Ho(0)= −66.17 kJ mol−1. The standard entropy of formation of hydrofullerene C60H36 and the entropy of reaction of its formation by hydrogenation of fullerene C60 with hydrogen were estimated and at T=298.15 K they were ΔfSo= −2188.4 J K−1 mol−1 and ΔrSo= −2270.5 J K−1mol−1, respectively. The problem of existence of η5-π-complexes of unsubstituted fullereneI h -C60 and its cyclopentadienyl type derivative C60H5 . is discussed.Ab initio MO LCAO SCF calculations of hypothetical sandwich systems η5-π-C60H5XCp (X=Fe (1a), Si (1b)), the cationic complex C60FeCp+ of unsubstituted C60, and the C60H5 . radical were performed in the STO-3G and 3-21G basis sets. In the1a, 1b, and C60H5 . systems, hydrogen atoms are attached to carbon atoms of fullerenei h -C60 at α-positions relative to the same pentagonal face (pent *). In η5-complexes, XCp species are also coordinated to this face. According to calculations in the 3-21G basis set, the Fe-pent * bond energy in complex1a is much higher than those of similar bonds in1b and in the η5-π-C60FECp+ cation (117 kcal mol−1 vs. 37 and 64 kcal mol−1, respectively) and is 7 kcal mol−1 higher than the Fe−Cp bond energy in the classical sandwich system FeCp2. The Fe…C pent* and Fe…CCp distances in complex1a are slightly shorter than the Fe…C distance in the ferrocene molecule. The spin populations in the C60H5 . radical are almost completely localized on the atoms of thepent * face, which must favor the formation of η5-π-complexes of this radical. The present study developed an high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the simultaneous determination of urinary metabolites of endogenous cortisol, 6α-hydroxycortisol (6α-OHF) and 6β-hydroxycortisol (6β-OHF), in human urine, using 6α-hydroxycorticosterone as internal standard. 6α-OHF and 6β-OHF were extracted from urine with ethyl acetate by using a Sep-Pak C18 plus cartridge. Separation of the stereoisomers was achieved on a reversed-phase hybrid column by a gradient elution of (A) 0.05 M KH2PO4–0.01 M CH3COOH (pH 3.77) and (B) 0.05 M KH2PO4–0.01 M CH3COOH/acetonitrile (2:3, v/v). 6α-OHF and 6β-OHF were well separated on an XTerra MS C18 5 μm column using two types of stepwise gradient elution program (programs 2 and 3). Resolutions of 6α-OHF and 6β-OHF were Rs = 4.41 for program 2 and Rs = 4.60 for program 3. The analysis was performed within 23~26 min, monitored by UV absorbance at 239 nm. The lower limits of detection of 6α-OHF and 6β-OHF were 0.80 ng per injection (s/n = ca. 8), and the lower limits of quantification were 5.02 ng/ml for 6α-OHF and 41.08 ng/ml for 6β-OHF, respectively. The within-day reproducibilities in the amounts of 6α-OHF and 6β-OHF determined were in good agreement with the actual amounts added, the relative errors being −5.37% and −3.73% (gradient 2) and −5.69% and −3.96% (gradient 3) for both 6α-OHF and 6β-OHF, respectively. The inter-assay precisions (RSDs) for 6α-OHF and 6β-OHF were less than 1.99% (gradient 2) and 2.61% (gradient 3), respectively. The present HPLC method was applied to the measurement of 6α-OHF and 6β-OHF in urine to evaluate the time courses of 6α-hydroxylation and 6β-hydroxylation clearances of cortisol during 40 days for phenotyping CYP3A in a healthy subject.  相似文献

Complexes of fullerenes C60 and C70 with cobalt(II) and manganese(II) tetraphenylporphyrinates of compositions Mn(TPP)·(C60)2(CS2)1.5 (1), Mn(TPP)·C70(CS2) x , wherex<=1.25 (2), Co(TPP)·C60(CS2)0.5 (3), and Co(TPP)·C70(CS2) x , wherex<0.25 (4), were synthesized and studied by ESR spectroscopy. At 77 K, complexes1 and2 have singlet ESR spectra characteristic of the low-spin (S=1/2) state of MnII, withg=2.002 and linewidths of 250 G and 300 G, respectively, and differing significantly from that of the initial MnII(TPP) (g 1=5.9 andg=2.0,S=5/2). The spectra of complexes1 and2 exposed to oxygen exhibit hyperfine structure due to interaction with55Mn and14N nuclei. The ESR spectra of complexes3 and4 are asymmetric (<g>=2.4, ΔH pp=(500–600) G), which is due to the overlap of parallel and perpendicular spectral components. The absence of ESR signals from C60 .− and C70 .− radical anions makes it possible to conclude that the formation of complexes1–4 is not accompanied by electron transfer from Co(TPP) and Mn(TPP) to fullerences C60 and C70.
